2. Try not to open phishing emails
People can also avoid receiving this emails by not giving out their email addresses unknowingly to scammers, either when they register for airdrops, scam ico, fake giveaways, signing up on dubious websites etc. They leave their address open to receive phishing emails, blackmails and even threats from scammers when they do. So they should always protect their email addresses.
5062  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Road to Full Member. on: April 08, 2020, 03:33:25 PM
You're still very far from getting to full member, you have 12 merits as of now and it's going to take another 88 merits for you to rank up, neither have you been earning merits at a quick pace, so it's still going to take a while longer i presume.

It's easier to rank up from newbie to Jr member/member, all you need between those ranks is just ten merits; but to move higher becomes more tasking, 90 more to get to full member, 150 to senior member and it gets more difficult up till legendary rank. I wish you luck, though it won't be as easy as this first stage.

Tough situation for coutinho.

Back to premier league and face liverpool... a club that makes him a rising star would be a bit emotional isn't it? Or you guys
Is it as tough as he leaving the club for Barcelona in the first place? I don't think it is, if he could leave the club at that time to go for "better fortunes" in Spain, then he can return to England, with another team that's not Liverpool to bring his career back to life.

United are arch rivals to Liverpool, so the fans may not give coutinho any respect anytime he plays against Liverpool, but in football, players have tough decisions to make, and as professionals that they are, there are some factors, though important, they have to put away. If Barcelona don't want him and Manchester United do, why not?
5064  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Baofeng's List of Exposed Scams on: April 07, 2020, 09:14:54 AM
Scam Lists expose and growing. Although it is relatively small to those who have been exposing scams in this community for many years.
No effort put into exposing scams can be regarded as small, our industry's principal problem amongst others is that of scams, so much money has been lost to scammers over the years either through fake giveaways, hacks, fake airdrop, scam ico etc and the newbies are still vulnerable.

Its applaudable the effort users like you have put to expose and warn users on scams, you may never know how much money you've saved people from losing with your efforts. Congratulations you're now legendary Cheesy
5065  Other / Meta / Re: [SUGGESTION] Anonymous Messages - Multi Author Messages on: April 06, 2020, 03:22:56 PM
2- Multi author threads/messages:
Some of complex messages is hard for working on it. İf we can give permission to someone for write on it, it will be easy. (like google spreadsheets options)
Co authors for one thread is not allowed, but there are some other ways to get help from other users, for example if you are working on a complex topic, you can send a private message to a more experienced user to put you through on areas you do not understand clearly. Secondly If you post a thread and there are flaws or mistakes in the thread, other users would also correct the flaws in the thread, so I don't think there is need for co authorship.
5066  Other / Meta / Re: Can we have Ignore option on topics, not boards, not users? on: April 06, 2020, 08:31:38 AM
I do not know how your proposition is going to work, are you requesting for an ignore option for archetypal/quintessential topics, the Covid-19 threads are everywhere on the forum, because it is affecting everyone in the world so it's popular, can you give other examples of general topics that can be ignored.
Edit:
This option is not limited to Covid-19, whenever we see a thread that looks boring, from title to OP contents, we can use this option to ignore it, forever. But there is an unignore button to use, just in case.
Ignoring just that topic alone, or other topics that fall under that same subject or category? If it's just that topic then there's no need for this option, when you can just close the topic and never open it again. If it's for other topics of the same nature, then it's going to be too difficult to group topics under a particular category as an option for users to ignore.

Many have written off Mandjukic many times but have been mistaken every time.
Mandjukic is a player with character and the best defensive striker, who constantly puts pressure on opposing players and selflessly helps his team.
A striker is usually applauded if he can help out defensively by maybe putting a little pressure on opposition defense while they start attack from behind, but that is only about 2% of what a striker is expected to do, the other 98% is to score goals, Mandzukic cannot be said to be effective in that aspect, he isn't a prolific goalscorer and that aspect of his game has gone down with the years, surely cannot lead the line for any top European team.
He's no older player than Ronaldo and he certainly has a tremendous desire to prove he still can play.
Ronaldo is on a far different level from Mario Mandzukic, Cristiano has proved that he can deliver even despite his age, the fact that Ronaldo can still play at the top level at his age and even longer doesn't mean Mandzukic can, mind you Cr7 is a five time ballon d'or winner.

Also, stop hoarding as much as possible because it is better to give to others to protect themselves too. Just a friendly reminder don't hesitate to save yourselves and family to this virus.
Is it even possible that any person with no food and nothing to eat would still hold bitcoins and prefer to die of hunger, sanity would make it impossible for anyone to do that. It's a matter of commonsense to figure out that people still holding their bitcoins without selling any have more than enough fiat to take care of their daily needs as well as buy what is required to stay safe from the corona virus pandemic and many people are even donating bitcoins to help people in this time of difficulty, putting it to good use.
5069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first BTC ATM in Nigeria on: April 05, 2020, 06:00:52 AM
But this made me a bit curious. The first BTC ATM in Nigeria? Really? What could have been the reason that other African countries such as Uganda and Djibouti have installed theirs first? Is Nigeria behind these countries in terms of technological development?
It's is not a question or debate of which country is ahead of the other in technological advancement, I'll give you an example, no African country can match China in advancement in technology, but they do not have any bitcoin ATM, they had earlier installed one, but the country shut it down since they are not interested in crypto activities in their country, but a country like South Africa has more than five bitcoin ATM's.

So Nigeria just installing their first BTC ATM is more of a result of their government regulations than their state or level of advancement in technology. Though cryptocurrency activities isn't banned in Nigeria, it is also not fancied by the govt either.

FC Bayern München and Manchester City are interested in the 24 year-old striker Adama Traoré currently playing at Wolverhampton Wanderers. His current market value is about €32m, but since the Wolves want to sell him for around €100m I doubt Bayern or City will sign him. With the current crisis, €100m for a player who didnt win anything yet is far out of line. I don't know where they getting these price tags from. In my opinion the fair value is about €25-30m. What do you guys think?
I do not believe this news to be true, city have so many top class wingers like sterling, Mahrez, Sane, even Bernardo Silva can play from the flanks. I don't see the reason why they should be interested in Traore, the same goes for Bayern Munich. Adama Traore is a good player, but still average in my opinion and hasn't done enough to earn him a place in city or Bayern. If wolves want to sell him to any club for 100 million, it's just another way of saying they are not selling him, because no club will buy him for that price.
5071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The first BTC ATM in Nigeria on: April 04, 2020, 03:35:25 PM
African giant Nigeria has set up it's first Bitcoin automated teller machine in the country, citizens of Nigeria are famous for bitcoin trading and investment and they are top in that aspect in Africa. Though this is not the first BTC ATM in the continent(Africa)as countries like South Africa, Kenya, Ghana Botswana, Uganda, Djibouti and Zimbabwe all have bitcoin ATM's in their countries. Many parts of Africa still remains underdeveloped, due to bad government, but bitcoin and cryptocurrencies can help alleviate the condition and state of things over there for the individuals taking the opportunity.
Quote
A Bitcoin startup in Nigeria, Blockstale BTM, has installed the very first Bitcoin Automated Teller Machine in Nigeria.
According to the startup, the ATM was installed at Dazey Lounge and Bar in Lagos and the company is planning to install at least 30 BTC ATMs across the nation.

5072  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: an important reminder : accumulate bitcoin. on: April 04, 2020, 01:17:47 PM
...This is a very long time. I can hold by bitcoins for another 1- 2 years and I am hopeful we will see the bull run before this time. If you are holding for bitcoin for 20 years, it is also very risky because you never know whether bitcoin will exist that time or there maybe something new,  currency which we can't imagine now.
20 years isn't too long as you imagine it, for a young man like myself, if  I can accumulate a whole lot of bitcoins in the next twenty years, by then I'll be entering the mid part of my life then it is a good investment plan imo. The risk is not determined by how long you hold, you can hold for two or twenty years, you're still likely to be affected by the risks involved.
No one is here for 20 years investments.
Many are. There are many users who are accumulating bitcoins as a form of post-work, retirement plan. Eleven years ago, only very few could foreshadow bitcoins growth today, so also is the case in the next two decades.
5073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 04, 2020, 11:05:58 AM
I recently read that former Juventus footballer Mario Mandjukic is not happy with the quality of the current league where he plays (Al-Duhail Club) and that he wants to return to Europe and find a new Club there.
What do you think?
Given his age and playing in an exotic football league, is there any chance he could play for another serious European Club again?
Imo, the answer is no, I do not think Mandzukic can play in a big team in Europe again, except maybe as an option on the bench, but if he is looking for regular playing time, it's either in the lower leagues or a small European club.
i hope he doesn't go to italy into a more defensive league in terms of line-ups - i would like to see him better in england
The Italian seria A may be more defensive in nature than other leagues in Europe, but there are still a lot of creative players playing there, I value creative midfielders and wingers who make it in Italy more than in England, because there is so much hype as support in the EPL
5074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people here would choose bitcoin as their form of payment? on: April 04, 2020, 09:47:13 AM
If I have just one source of income, I would not want to receive it in bitcoin, that is a very risky thing to do, I can only accept my wages in bitcoin if I have numerous sources of income and I dedicate the one I receive in bitcoin as a form of investment, which I'm just going to be accumulating BTC and not converting it to fiat.

But all my needs are mostly solved using fiat, if I receive my primary payments in bitcoin, I'm still going to have to convert it to cash frequently and with bitcoins volatility, I would be liable to loss.
5075  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: YouTube continues to ban crypto content on: April 04, 2020, 08:38:09 AM
I am very sure this must have been a very tough decision for youtube to make, cryptocurrency videos and topics are no longer commonplace, many people post a lot of videos to teach new people a lot of things and also how to trade. But the scam videos and content seems to have outrun/exceeded the good ones, they receive a lot of reports and have to bring down so many videos everyday, I do not know if this is a permanent ban or just for sometime, but it was beyond doubt needed to save people from losing money.
5076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto currency ready for next season??? on: April 04, 2020, 06:30:48 AM
it seems that the corona virus is still hampering the movement of the global market industry and this cryptoqurrency market.
In all the countries that the corona virus has spread to, and it has spread to very nearly all the countries in the world, only very few people are working, in less developed countries the case is even worse. So round the world now only about half of the working population is receiving an income. That is a crisis, one that had to affect bitcoin, which it did, the price is not at its worse, it almost got to 7000 yesterday, but for any bull run to be possible, this virus needs to go and people start working again and there is money in circulation once more.
5077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 03, 2020, 10:40:57 PM
Lots of people are getting made redundant & self employed people aren’t earning money right now. It’s unprecedented in modern history for anything like this to disrupt the world. Footballers earn a hell of a lot of money, they will be fine to earn 70% of their usual salary for a month or two. I do not feel sorry for them!
50% of their salaries is a dream for majority of people out there and this majority at this time are not earning anything. Footballers have nothing to worry about, a pay cut for a few months judging from the situation in the world and how much they earn every week shouldn't get them too unhappy or worried, not earning anything at all for now should be no big deal for them.
5078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 03, 2020, 10:02:26 PM
Sane is top class, I know he’s been injured all season but Pep used him sparingly any way, he deserves 1st team regular football. He would do well at Bayern, isn’t he German too?
Yes, he is a German. I love the way Sane plays, he's quick, he can dribble and in one V one situations, there is a high chance he's taking on the defender and beating him. I don't know if City want to let him go, Mahrez seems to have cemented his position in the team, with sterling also on the other wing, it's going to be a really tough competition, but one Sane shouldn't back down from. I'll want him to stay in City than move to Germany.
Allegri seems close to being the new Newcastle coach!
I know they got Raphael Benitez sometime ago and now Allegri, how do they get this top class managers Grin. Allegri imo wouldn't end up in Newcastle though, he should have better options.

5080  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin and covid19 on: April 02, 2020, 04:41:59 PM
Bitcoin and covid nine teen make many people lost much money and stop working more than two months in China and now other country lock down and not allowed from every one get out from their house. Bad impact after corona virus and make bitcoin going down last two weeks and have been lower price.
Bitcoin is no direct cause of the pandemic that is spreading all over the world, leading to jobs and businesses being closed down and loss of money inevitably. Covid-19 is a deadly virus that has taken many lives, the best way to stop it's spread is to stay at home, even if the economy is collapsing, there is nothing the government can do until the virus is eradicated. Bitcoin as an advantage offers enthusiasts and investors the opportunity to invest and  trade from home since you do not need to leave your house to carry out bitcoin transactions, you can also make donations and buy your needs using the bitcoin in this lockdown.
