I'll have an old copy of the Andreas schildbach wallet if you want a copy of it (it worked on jellybean), you might be able to pull it from the git repo but I'm not sure of the name (might be android-wallet/Android-wallet) but I'm not sure.
Electrum probably won't work on older versions anymore either since old clients can't connect.

How did you communicate with him, you might be able to work out where he is from that info.
You can't charge back a btc transaction and if they aren't kycd then theres probably no way to trace them from there...
|
|
|
Yeah if he doesn't provide a signature or a Satoshi test then just walk away...
You can't get access to their funds from a Satoshi test based on how it works as much as you can hack them from the address they provide you if it's already had a signed transaction from it as a Satoshi test will do the same.

~snip~ If it's a 3 then you may have made a multisig.
And if it starts with bc1q then I can confirm that it will be Multisig segwit wallet. Mine has a q in it and only one seed? Do you mean native segwit?

If you have an android phone, try recovering it on there. There's a chance you've written a word down wrong when you meant something else and android electrum won't let you enter non valid words (just in case that's the error)?
Try putting the seeds together also in each order. What does the address begin with also is it a 1, 3 or bc1 If it's a 3 then you may have made a multisig.

It's because you didn't ask a full question. If that sort of thing is what you need then no one's going to help you because it'll make them certain you're trying to scam...
If it uses signatures then no it is about as easy to crack as a public key as they normally have 256 bits of entropy applied.
If you think logically, why would a proof of funds ever be hackable if people are happy to provide them?

If you're able to accept lightning funds then I can do this. I don't currently have that amount in btc wihtout having to pay huge amounts in exchange fees.
Edit: I might actually be able to free something up from one of my exchange accounts if not.

Give us the site you sent the funds to and the transaction ids you used and we might be able to help...
Contact the support for that company too they'll reimburse you if they're not a scam for the second transaction.

As long as there es nothing with a bill in it then you probably don't need to do much. You could get Theymos to change the email entry (did he not provide a forward address)? Change it to that...
If he does have a bill or something and still hasn't picked it up find someone in his country on here and ask them to send him a letter...

If you paid off all of your liabilities, I'd suggest writing to the loan companies and asking for them to write off your debts from your credit score. I've heard in a lot of cases they normally comply and if you've paid higher interest putting it off but still paid it, why wouldn't they?
Anyway back the the current issuer, if you can't find someone in your area that will give you a loan if you have good enough profits you could always part with some shares in order to fund upgrading your equipment (you might be able to add a buyback offer with them too).

I'm pretty sure this happens when one or more earlier posts are deleted, causing later posts to appear on the page previous to the page they originally appeared on, the latter being where the link continues pointing to until the database is properly updated.
It might just be me but this doesn't really make sense? Your message for example has this link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5198491.msg52981631#msg52981631Do you mean it has to update with the right number of posts in each page? Since there are two tables in the database (one for posts and one for topics). I'd hate to see the size of this forum's database... On a sidenote, I hope the new forum software can better deal with 25k pages and 500k replies, I doubt smf was built for it.

If someone is willing to accept it then yes and if you haven't got it on finance or anything.
You might be better off remortgaging it though if you really need money because their interest rates might be a lot lower than here (europe is about 1-10% pa now).
There'll be a lot more fees here now, normally you'll need to pay legal fees and a lender might want you to move out or pay rent before you've paid them back so the property is easier to reposess.

@jackg I saw the ann thread bumped, so i wonder if you plan to continue write the lesson?
Ah yeah I thought I'd give it a bump yesterday to see if I got any interest that might have been missed a few months ago. I think the last lesson I mentioned I was going to make was on recursion and rounding off everything (and it might have been a few other things too). When I find done good (less complex) examples of each then I will. Mist of the non complex stuff like fibonacci are better dons out of recursion so I'll have to see where I can get without having to teach data structures. (I could do a queue or a stack tjough I guess).
Fixed up the other thread let me know if I've missed anything.

Asking the best crypto to invest in is not a great question. If you're starting out, I'd suggest bitcoin but understand your investment could plummit, $2k is about as likely as $20k short term so make sure you understand the risks of investing in anything...
Don't fall for a lot of the other coins that are newly released or have a low market cap, look for coins like bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum, momero and xrp... Things likely to be less volatile than the rest.
As an exchange this really depends on where you are, I'd suggest coinbase.com if you can use it where you are but you might want to look into sites like localbitcoins instead. Store yourbitcojn in a wallet on your pc like electrum (from electrum.org) verify the signature (I think there's a help page on the site) and run it and make a new wallet. If suggest doing a small purchase of about 1% of what you want to buy or 0.0001-0.001 just to check everything works and you can send from the exchange to the wallet and back.

@bitmover, he's after a running total. So he wants it to say what the address(es) have in them [/b] AFTER[/b] each transaction.
Eg day 1: 0.05 0.05 Day 2: 0.10. 0.15
Second field is running total.
|
|
|
I'd recommend importing the watching only addresses into electrum? I know you can definitely see the totals there...
If not there's probably an online wallet that'll do it for you. But it's more of a wallet functionality than a block explorer.

I think @DarkStar_ need to create a new thread contain title "Chipmixer Campaign Discussion". Seems always someone's bumping thread unnecessarily and start discussion.
Wed have to keep bumping that one so it won't save anything.
ChipMixer came when bitmixer shut down (maybe a few weeks before) another service will likely do the same... Its got to be a lucrative business for ChipMixer to do so well heere and keep the campaign going for so long, we're on week 128 and the escrow account has always been funded on time (afaik)...

Bump avaliable to take requests for next 8-12 hours.

@bitcyptex, he seems to think push is receivable amount (I think) it's good that you can customise it as you normally can't on the mobile wallets.
Also I think his transaction failed because he was trying to send testnet bitcoins to a lightning bitcoin node (just thought I'd make this clear if anyone was wondering).
