Audi is preparing itself for the 2026 season, they are now looking for people using google  Grin

I have heard that Hyundai and Porsche are also preparing to join F1 by that season also.

These two brands are the other strongest candidates to be seen here for now. But we will see how they will want to join this environment. Maybe both of them would like to provide engine to some teams. Ford and BMW are other brands in such speculations but there is no statement by their sides as far as I know. BMW are interested in endurance racing rather than F1 these days. Ford might be a more powerful candidate but we will see if it's true in the coming days.

Porsche is owned by VolksWagen, the same as Audi,so both teams represent a sole vendor from what I understand despite that when VolksWagen bought them they kept their technology but if you see a Volkswagen car,a Skoda,a Seat which are also owned by VolksWagen group it shows that they have almost the same instrument panel because of them being part of such vendor. It is interesting to see them in F1 however for me it is much more interesting to see Hyundai which is dominating the electric car market by a huge gap compared to any other vendor, they have also an unlimited budget as their president said "I don't care how much I spend,I only see growing in my vision" and that vision is true now with all the success that Hyundai has enjoyed.I can see them being the most interesting team to enter F1 by that year.

In Russia, there are different tariffs for electricity for urban and rural residents. If you are in a village, then electricity is cheaper from 25 to 50%, but it depends on the region and on programs to help rural residents. If the house is registered for a pensioner with a disability, then this is another 30% subsidies. But the inspectors will have questions about why a pensioner spends 10,000-15000 kilowatts or more per month. Smiley Smiley
Real estate in the village is inexpensive, so the miners bought houses to install mining farms.

Russia has a large energy production capacity, either through oil or through gas. Therefore, it is normal for them to be able to present lower energy prices.
In addition, they have another very useful element for miners, which are low temperatures. This allows not having such high costs for cooling the equipment.

I think the cooling is a perfect element why miners there can run their farms without additional cooling costs or devices most of the time, the temperatures in winter are often below zero there. For the energy they should have much cheaper than 0.05 usd/eur/kw as they have a huge capacity in energy production, they were serving all of Europe before they decided it is time to just invade another independent country bordering them and from then Europe has put a lot of sanctions greatly reducing their relying on Russian energy, now that this happened for 2023 they should have energy price of 0.01-0.02 usd/eur/kw which should further incentive miners to even running their rigs when we are in the deepest of the crypto winter stage.
There are regions in Russia with a price of 0.01-0.02 USD/EUR/kW, such as the Irkutsk region. In large-scale production, electricity prices are cheaper due to large consumption. Prices for citizens are regulated by the regulations of the energy commission in each region. And the price does not depend on the consumption of 100 kilowatts or 15,000 kilowatts. The problem of many villages in Russia is that there are very old transformers and if the miners turn on their mining farm, then the voltage in the electrical network drops. Residents are complaining, power engineers are starting to look for miners. Smiley

There are quite a lot of similarities between the villages in Russia and those in the country where I live in despite us being several thousand kilometers of distance from each other. In here also the transformers are old enough but the electricity is much more expensive than those in Russia being at 0.09-0.10 usd/eur/kw and at these ranges no one is interested to set up a mining farm there.

Interesting enough the houses there cost a maximum of 2000 dollars, yes that cheap,it is relatively cold as they are near the mountains bordering another country yet the electricity price does not make it attractive, funny how things differ from country to country.

I think what we need and I think Russia can afford that too,is Wind Turbines powered energy,it can be the game changer for anyone who want to set up a mining farm at minimal cost.
5063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best altcoin to look out for on: January 01, 2023, 08:05:37 PM
I personally see 2023 as the year which will bring the demise of the Ethereum coin, the PoS one,the one we all knew until September 2022 as a great coin.Since moving to PoS they are offering nothing and they are also making it difficult for people who have staked their coins by extending the time they need their staked coins in order to be able to withdraw them, this does not sound well at all for Ethereum.

Promising altcoins for me are,Raptoreum as a CPU coin with a great team of programmers behind it,it is in the lowest price right now but the team plans to add 2-3 programming languages like Java and Python for developers to build apps on it which I think it will add a lot of value to this coin.
Then I believe this so far without any valid argument just my inner instinct tells me so,I believe in ETHW and ETHF the two so called chains that have self declared as the ones who will substitute ETH for good,so far they are far from it but they are in their infancy stage.

Do you check the total consumption of the computer from the wall? I think my mining farm of 5 Rx 5600 consumes less electricity.
You are doing very well, because you have one video card. When you build a mining farm of 5 such video cards, you will understand what mining on hot video cards is.

Yeah that 71 degree Celsius doesn't look that well especially if it is on an open air rig with just one video card. The fans are low at 58% but I think such a powerful card like the 4090 should be built in a perfect quality so I would normally increase the fan speed to at  least 70-75% or at least until the temperature goes to less than 67 degree Celsius.

The profitability if it is only roughly 2600 Satoshi daily or 78000 monthly it is totally not worth mining at that energy power consumption which is near 0.5 Kw and it is 12 Kw daily, not worthy for me,even though I am a partisan of mining at a loss because it is usually in such time that money are made.
5065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 01, 2023, 07:23:35 PM

As Ronaldo has signed for Al-Nassr now, I wonder if Messi will be able to get past Ronaldo's goal amount in the Champions League before his retirement.

I assume Ronaldo will retire at the team he is going to now. Even if he returns to Europe one last time I don't think there would be a big team to be interested in him. He can still play in the Champions League then if he becomes okay to playing for an average team that have qualified for the tournament. But I still don't expect any of these to happen. Messi doesn't have a big gap with Ronaldo considering these numbers. He is already very productive and I expect him to play even one more season at PSG. This is enough time for him to break the goal record.
Yes, it could happen that Lionel Messi will break the record set by Cristiano Ronaldo while he was playing in the Champions League. 12 goals is the goal difference between these two players, so that's a very likely thing to happen, especially now that Cristiano Ronaldo will not add to his coffers because he is no longer in the Champions League, while Lionel Messi will continue to be active there. Lionel Messi's contract extension will also increase his chances of returning to play in the Champions League next season with Paris Saint-Germain. Because I see that it is certain that Paris Saint-Germain will return to participate in the highest football caste in Europe.

It will be difficult for Messi I think if he is not going to play more than 2-3 seasons. In Champions League Messi has not scored with Paris as many goals as he has scored with Barcelona and I doubt this is going to change.Paris has its main objective to win the Champions League and they will not care much of furnishing Messi with a lot of balls, they just need to get past their adversaries and score.

The time though clearly permit to Messi to score more than 12 goals during these 3 seasons which I am assuming he will be playing including this one we are already in the middle of it.This does not mean that if Messi scores more goals than Ronaldo is a better player than him, they both have won a couple of times the Ballon D'Or so for me they are the two greatest players of our time,as simple as that.

It's amazing to see several people in the pool foresaw Tottenham losing to visitors Aston Villa convincingly in a match I thought Spurs will be desperate to get back to winning ways after dropping points just last week...and now today not even a point, I guess a top four finish is getting out of sight.

Well the new year games have been pretty much full of surprises if we take into consideration what happened until now,Manchester City at 1.14 odd not winning,Newcastle at 1.45 not winning and tonight Tottenham at a similar odd of that of Newcastle not only not winning but losing the game 0-2 against a team which lately has been not in so good form,it just shows that for me the Tottenham players maybe have celebrated a bit to much during yesterday night festivities  Grin.
I guess this is evidence that the festive season affects most of the favorites as most players could be in party mode and they aren't being supervised but no more parties anymore, time to work now.

It still ended with another surprise now,a totally unexpected draw of Chelsea against what I call in my personal opinion the weakest team of this Premier League,Nottingham Forest.Chelsea started a great game and they even scored but the fact that they failed to manage this advantage or to try and score more it emphasizes my idea that most likely even Chelsea players has been doing much more festivities than they should when they knew that on 1 January they had a game to play and a really important one after seeing that Newcastle failed in yesterday game with Leeds.

Currently we offer level-up bonuses for our VIP and rakeback. However, due to popular demand, we are looking to implement weekly and monthly bonuses as well. Do you guys happen to have any recommendations for a formula we should use in determining what an appropriate weekly/monthly bonus should be?

We would love to hear feedback from all bitcointalk members!

Hope you guys have an awesome and safe New Years! Smiley

-Punt Management

All the reputable casinos offer those bonuses to their loyal players. It is only natural to give some sort of incentives even to players losing a lot of money because the few that win are not that really concerned about such bonuses and from my personal experience this can be free spins equal to a certain amount of money for example 5% of your total loss for the week or the month,it can be cash directly to your wallet balance weekly and monthly.I suggest you do that, you add the weekly and monthly bonus as in the long term it can be beneficial to you as most likely people will play more in such a casino than in one that do not offers such incentives,or every month they reset your achievements that is not going to work well.
5068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs is looking to buy crypto, why? on: January 01, 2023, 04:50:48 PM
AFAIK, they are already into crypto and known as an investor of it.
Honestly, if they want to invest into crypto because of blockchain. They should just focus on blockchain applications and use cases of it.

They are already into crypto from a long time and from a banks perspective they are one of the pioneers in accepting crypto in their assets. They are already one of the best banks for people who are into trading and into investing from several years but now with such move they want to consolidate and get a share from the big crypto market that there is and probably will be much more bigger than it is now with the passing of time.I see nothing wrong with this move and the reason they are looking from FTX leftovers means that most likely they want to build something of their own on top of the already existing infrastructure.

It is official now,we are not going to see Cristiano Ronaldo at Champions League games of 2023,he choose Al Nassr to play with in the Middle East. Many will not be happy with this choice but I think we can all agree it was an economic choice,he is becoming 38 in February and he has signed a contract that will give him with the total benefits from publicity and all others about 500 million in 2 years, who would not make such move for 2 years.Personally if I were him I would even go and play with all the penguin in the North or South pole, don't remember well where they are  Grin.

What are your thoughts at such move?

What do you guys think about Villa? Was my initial team to support for nostalgic reasons (and they weren't bad at all in earlier games) but after Gerrard got axed, they smacked Brentford and United, got smacked by Ncastle and United (in EFL).

New manager magic's gotta be wearing off, are we going to keep seeing see-saw Villa or Mr Hyde?

Asking cause already got money on Spurs on a long acca, not sure to hedge with Villa.

I'm with you with Tottenham, it's just hard to trust Aston Villa.  But as you guys already know, I haven't been into football that much for a couple of seasons now...  I just got them parlayed with Chelsea to get a decent 2.79 line and keep myself interested in watching the matches while the bets are still on.

The bet isn't really big tho, so if I win it, I'd prolly bet everything on Brentford draw no bet at 3.90 vs Liverpool.  What do you guys think?

Edit:  Lloris...  LOL.  And fk this game.  I'm out.

I think Liverpool will win against Brentford but also the draw no bet is something that can happen as I would not be surprised because Brentford form is not that bad and after winning against West Ham at West Ham will only be with a high moral to fight against Liverpool at home.
5071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing national lottery smart or waste of time? on: January 01, 2023, 04:04:32 PM

Topic and poll inspired by another thread - question:

Do you play national lottery games (Powerball, EuroMillions, Lotto etc)?

My view on big, often state-owned lotteries is they're designed mainly for 2 reasons: to make a profit and as a social tool that sells dreams of instant life change and massive wealth to the masses to keep them in line.

Most people are not satisfied with their lives and they need some sort of hope for the future to keep going and to prevent themselves from turning into crime, falling into depression etc. However messed-up your life might be, there's still hope that buying a cheap lottery ticket could potentially turn you into a millionaire (or even a billionaire) overnight. That's a powerful tool.

But the reality is, such lotteries usually have way worse odds than any casinos or gambling sites. So, mathematically speaking, you're better off gambling your money there.

Thoughts?

I play my national weekly lottery for the simple reason that a ticket costs just 2 dollars,a completely irrelevant amount for 90% of the society here and thus I buy a couple of tickets every week without expecting a win but of course if the win happens then it means it solves some of my problems, for example I can afford to live without working for a minimum of 2-3 years as that is how big the prize of this lottery is.This is nor smart nor not smart,it is just a small gamble which if it comes true it can solve to me or anyone who wins the prize some problems.

They have the worse odds but they do not make anyone addicted,we have to wait on Saturday when the lottery is being shown in TV so as long as someone has such ticket there is no need to go to the casino,of course there are a lot of people who buy such tickets and who never go to the casino or gamble so in this sense they are smart for me.

5073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers that don't understand basic gambling concepts. on: January 01, 2023, 12:15:08 PM
If people understand the concept of gambling that easy, then maybe there will be less gamblers as well?

The thing is even if they have this concepts in mind, I think they will still go and risk and maybe play to have some fun only, or maybe the only concept that they will hold is how lucky/unlucky they will be in they gamble. Even in we take for example sports betting, you only look at the odds for the favorite and the underdog, and yet the risk for the underdog is high but there are still people who are willing to take the risk and bet on that long shot.

If people understood those concepts,I mean if all gamblers would understand them straight away we would not have gambling addicts. In my beginning several years ago I was one of them who thought Martingale to work flawlessly only to find out soon that it didn't.

Also the return to player concept is usually wrongly understood, when it says 96% RTP it means that 96% would be returned to all players after a certain time or after a certain of hits and not that if you play 100 dollars you will get back 96 like many newbies assume. When people understand these concepts than these people do not become addicted at all, speaking from my personal experience,I play keeping these in mind and almost never get carried away.

Ferarri - Leclerc there will be have 2 scenario:
1. Due to the change of team principal, people, or team hoping we are gonna 2023 season. As long there has some change as well not only on the team principal but also on the team it self (PitCrew + Team Strategy.

2. For this one is adaption style for "Fred Vasseur". If this happening, then Ferarri are not gonna to chase 2023 and could be chasing for 2024 since Vasseur need some adaption how the team work in Ferarri.

This will make the "Tifosi" impatient during the first year unless the new management clearly states that we cannot fight for the title in 2023 but we are using this year in order to give you "the Tifosi" an unforgettable 2024 season where will be fighting really hard for the win of both the drivers Championship and also the constructors Championship,I think if they go this way they will keep the "Tifosi" quiet for the 2023.I know that in Ferrari they are waiting from many years, almost the same number the people at McLaren are waiting so wasting a year because of the adoption it will surely piss of the fans of Ferrari.
5075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 31, 2022, 09:39:31 PM
For whatever reason you think Real Madrid have a better chance of winning the title, you need to consider Xavi's success this season which has lifted Barcelona to the top of the table. Of course Barcelona are not superior to the quality of Real Madrid's players, but they can surprise at the end of the season. I don't underestimate Barcelona under any circumstances, it's normal to drop points in one or two match.
In the past season, with half of a season, Xavi brought Barcelona to a runner-up position so it is acceptable to require him a titale in this season. Even it is a challenging requirement, it should exist to motivate Xavi and Barcelona players.

They still lack of some important factors but they have one advantage against Real Madrid. They are no longer playing in Champions League that gives them more focus on La Liga. Though I agree Real Madrid are stronger and more experienced from players to coach, I think Barcelona have advantage then chance to win La Liga.
In current season we can expect good results from Barcelona even right now Xavi is still doing few things which will bring good results in long run because they are lacking of quality which is important for having top rank in league table in today match we watch still few things needed to improve their performance in last few seasons Real Madrid is strongest under Carlos Ancelotti leadership and giving their best results, but Barcelona is still under development which needs few more weeks specially Xavi as working he is still having not perfect winning squad which give him required results but no doubt as we watch in last season things are much better and having fair chance for winning title in this season under Xavi Hernandez.

It all depends on how the harmony in both teams will be going to the end of the season.I can personally see that Barcelona has nothing less than Real Madrid during this season and I think the season will be decided by which team will have the best consistency, for me Barcelona has a better odd here because they will be playing in Europa League which intensity and quality level of their opponents is less than that of the opponents of Real Madrid in the Champions League.

I agree that Xavi has more work to do until he fully harmonizes the team but he has started as they say with the right foot and I see him only improving further this Barcelona team.

Well it was bound to happen that city wouldnt win. Didnt expect them to lose points against everton. But everton parked the bus and Man City was able to take their chances and ended up losing points against them. For everton this was a huge result and they taken a point

Man City don’t look as good as in recent seasons. Haaland scores lots of goals but contributes little else to their team. They are reliant on him & others don’t play as well. They don’t seem as fluid as they were when they played without a proper number 9. Haaland doesn’t press so they almost lose control of the game which is unlike them.
It’s a weird opinion but I think they’re a worse team with Haaland than they were when the goals were spread around & they had pace out wide with the likes of Sterling & Jesus.

I don't think it is weird.I think what you say here is the reality for Manchester City which is 7 points behind after near half of the season has ended, that says a lot for me.They will have it almost impossible in order to win the title during this season if they continue with such game play as that of tonight. They were trying to use only Haaland and this is understandable but when that is not working you have to be creative and all the team should participate in the attacking, they should improvise, all the players have the duty to do so but they did not.I think Arsenal is going to have an easy way to the title this season while other teams have no real chances of fighting for the title, even Newcastle that is not losing from a lot of games they are 9 points behind and by not winning against Leeds they are out of the title fight in my opinion.

Hello Guys

Can Anybody have some better setting for this RTX than def 4096 and 256 ??
i have speed as on screen

I tried to use that tool but it didn't work out well for me despite me having quite some decent GPU-s running the program trying to recover my password.I got bored and there was a user here which I believe he still is by the name Dave that has a Wallet Recovery Service somewhere on the forum, just search it here or in google and he cracked a long huge password with his software that he claims to keep 10-20% of the amount of the wallets he recover.Unfortunately I had 0 money there despite me thinking there were some near 4000-5000 dollars but the fact is that he can help anyone and I am sure he can find your password no matter what your password was as long as he has that wallet.dat file.

Yes, I also met this topic, but if I'm not mistaken, it was about puzzle # 64 and he used several dozen A100s to solve it, and it seems he used his program Rotor-Cuda, which really iterates over the range very effectively.

From the long password I had at least 5 names of my relatives, some random numbers, random special characters like @ and ! and the only thing I remembered it was the name of a relative which was in the middle of the password. With just that information that guy hashed it out and found the password in less than one day, most of the old reputable members of the forum who post several posts there at that section was amazed how this guy found out my password and I also at first could not believe my eyes. The only regret is that unfortunately the 4000-5000 dollars was not at that wallet I completely forgot where they were, probably in a computer I have no access as it was a wallet from the 2014 era,February 2014 to be precise.

It was about 28 characters long if I remember correctly.
5078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bad feeling about the mining profit of incoming Intel Arc GPU on: December 31, 2022, 08:50:47 PM
I don't mean so sound rude, but what did you expect?  Did you think that Intel would enter the GPU market and suddenly x10 everyone else?  I'm sure it'll take them a few generations of products to really cement a lead, which I assume they will given their ability to buy the best talent in the world.  Right now though it's expecting a lot for them to just blow past Nvidia or AMD.  I'll be waiting and watching, but Intel will have to offer a pretty amazing product for me to think they can really compete with AMD, who I much prefer to Nvidia already.

They need to offer the same hash rate at a much lower power consumption if their products will aimed toward miners, which is highly unlikely in the time we are in.For gaming though I doubt their ability to build better products than Nvidia for example,I don't know AMD to be that good in gaming as Nvidia has been during all these years.

The fact that both Nvidia and AMD with their latest generation have not pushed that hard as we don't see a huge improvement over the previous generation says a lot that they also are in a wait and see mode.
5079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 31, 2022, 08:06:42 PM
So the biggest surprise of this new year was Manchester City not being able to win against Everton at an odd of 1.14,they started strongly with a brillant Haaland but unfortunately that was not enough for them to give them the win for this game which they were huge favorites.

Arsenal now has the golden opportunity to move to 7 points away from their closest follower as even Newcastle failed to win tonight, the other surprise of the day,I think that they will win against Brighton and further consolidate their lead which will give them the serenity to continue the league really in a calm way that in turn may give them the edge needed to be Champions in the end.

I'm not sure what's up with Pep's unexpected lineup, they barely escaped Leeds last week and he made the same mistake keeping some of his best players on the bench, I don't understand why he keeps making these heavy rotations when we still have one month until the Champions League, man ids costing us money and points in the FPL pool. I'm starting to believe that Arsenal is getting closer to the league than I ever imagined, now that the only club keeping a close gap has started to lose points. I don't believe we've seen the biggest surprise of the year yet; there are many more to come.

Arsenal is comfortably ahead with a score of 2-4.

Arsenal surely has solidified their league with an awesome game against Brighton and after a couple of years of them losing against Brighton when playing at Brighton home they broke the "curse" against this team.Manchester City with this pathetic performance tonight just made it difficult for themselves and I believe really difficult because this Arsenal clearly is the best team of the league with just one draw, one lost game and 14 wins, that says a lot to me.If the odds are good I am going to bet some substantial amount for them to win outright the Premier League but I don't believe the odds are good.

FYI, you can't realize what is actually happens when you're addicted to something until you're completely drowned in it, so don't take it too easy and make sure the addiction is not making you any loss and if you feel in that way just avoid it at any cost and let's see can you live without doing it then we can say you are on the top of your addiction.
Realization will struck someone who's too addicted in gambling. When he's got nothing left anymore and you're right that when he's completely drowned.
But if he says that he's making sure that he's in control and he's not losing that much, he can confidently say that to others and tell the truth of his situation. Although some gamblers are only telling that just to let others think that they're doing okay. This is for those that are hiding the reality of what they're experiencing.

I am not accusing anyone here but just talking about the reality even myself thought I have control on my activities but only I realised when it took over me like I am talking about lifestyle and others. When we talk about gambling addiction its more sensitive because it involves money so can turn anyone's life upside down in no time.

It all starts by someone wanting to try gambling and to have fun yet when they start in a way where they lose big money and they want to recover it,they chase loses and by doing so they risk of becoming addicted. The motive is usually for someone to try something different, having fun at gambling but things precipitate in a really fast way during gambling and thus the risk of someone becoming addicted is really common in such behavior.Unfortunately is also true that it can turn one life upside down really fast,so despite the initial motive maybe to have fun the risks to change your life for the worse is really big and present here.
