PSG is losing Mbappe and they lost Messi too, I think this team is losing the superstar players they had and I think there is even a possibility to say the PSG owner is disappointed with this team and they are going sell the players and try earning money from the players they sell there and decrease the salary they have to pay.
PSG was losing all of players that have brought so many supporters for PSG. This will be giving impact for long term. The income from the team will be affected as well. It's caused by PSG will not able to sell a lot of jersey, merchandise or tickets for people who have been willing to watch mbappe, messi or neymar. Losing all of superstars are big losses for PSG. PSG is now trying to get a new player to replace those superstars but the impact will not as big as them.
I remember when PSG got massive followers after signed messi in the club. We will not see that happens again this season. PSG has been losing its popularity slower but surely.

I saw some names that will be coming to the club but im sure if it will not change the image that owned by PSG right now as a club with bad environment in for the players.

Since the project now failed in a way it could indeed have consequences in the long run. The players that joined PSG in recent years thought that they will become a part of a project that will dominate the European soccer for many years and frequently win the Champions League with Mbappe, Neymar and Messi, but quite the opposite was the case. When PSG now reaches out to players the only enticement they have in their repertoire now is money. It will all be about the money. There is no Messi anymore and soon there will be no Mbappe. When players now go there it is not because they are playing with the best players in the world, but because they get paid more at PSG than elsewhere.

A few years ago, when PSG signed Lionel Messi, I thought that he would dominate European leagues like you, but we were very wrong. They lost the championship to Lille in one season and they did not win the UCL trophy in that period. They were pathetically eliminated this year as well, and now the team has begun to disintegrate. The next process will be more difficult for PSG.
It's true that being able to bring in star players will not always have a big impact on the club's performance, even more so one GOAT who arrives may not be able to change all that. Maybe it's also not Messi's fault if PSG couldn't get anything that season and indeed because they really like to buy star players, they tend to turn them into a foundation to be able to win the title.

PSG should be able to look at other lines that are still lacking in punch and if they don't just focus on one side I think they will still be able to get what they want. However, even for the first Champions League title they are still very unlikely until now and now we will not know where PSG will go next next season.

Just like many other players, Benzem chose money and he joined Arabian teams when left he is getting old to earn more money there.
I think Benzema made a wise move and Real Madrid should now hire an alternative player for this position. Mbappe is the first priority and I guess Mbappe can fill Benzema's position at Real Madrid perfectly.

If Mbappe's transfer to Real Madrid takes place, a football player who will play successfully for many years as Real Madrid Benzema will be brought to the team. I believe Mbappe will outperform Benzema. What he's done for PSG is obvious and he's a perfect player statistically.
That's right, it could make his career even better if he was with Real Madrid while outperforming Benzema and if he has no doubts about returning then the sooner the better. We know Real Madrid have tried many times to sign him, but Mbappe prefers to stay in Paris and that is also a waste of time for him if he wants to be the best player in the world.

At PSG he will only win the domestic league title, but if he is at Real Madrid he can win all titles including the champions league. But unfortunately mentally he is not ready to leave Paris and maybe we will see developments regarding his future before the end of the summer ends.

Hey Jude, don't make it bad.
Take a sad song and make it better.

That is a fragment of the popular song by The Beatles that represents all the feelings of Real Madrid fans at the moment and finally we can see the official announcement from Real Madrid that they managed to bring in Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund. It looks to be the single most successful transfer of the year and we will see Bellingham make his debut in the Real Madrid shirt from next season.

It is undeniable that Real Madrid's squad next season is full of young talent and they will once again try to rule Europe with the star players they just signed this year. Bellingham will be at the Santiago Bernabeu for the next 6 years and Real Madrid's future looks very bright with his arrival.

So far Roma have got two new players who have been obtained for free. The two players are Houssem Aouar and Evan N'Dicka, it seems that Mourinho is smart enough to take advantage of this opportunity to be able to get the player he wants without even spending a penny on the transfer fee.

Now Roma have additional players for midfield and defense, but it looks like they will still be lacking for attack positions which are currently still quite dull with the available options and if they want to give their best performance in Serie A next season then they must also quickly get a good attacker so as not to depend forever on the bus parking strategy.
5065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 14, 2023, 07:42:01 AM
It seem Bayern Munich were not serious with the signing of Declan Rice before they pulled out because the player made it known to them he wanted Arsenal  and Arsenal are willing to pay  what his club wants.
Rice valuation has always been 100m so I don’t think there was going to be a bidding war. The opportunity cost to enter a bidding war with us probably didn't make sense to them and they backed out - hence the "no bidding war".

Declan Rice's fitness is very good. His performance last season with West Ham did not impress me. But I think Declan Rice can play better if he is with a good squad. He has been with West Ham for a long time. As he has been playing in the Premier League for a long time. So perhaps Declan Rice will not be interested in moving out of England. Arsenal are interested in signing Declan Rice. My guess is that the chances of seeing Declan Rice in a Bayern Munich jersey are slim. Although Bayern Munich is a rich club, Arsenal will not spare a lot of money to sign their favorite player.
There is a lot of news out there saying that Declan Rice would rather play in England than in Germany and although Tuchel really likes this player it seems he can't get him at Bayern Munich. Declan Rice is a really good defensive midfielder and that could help any team's midfield that can get him.

But it is true that the closest team that can melt his heart is only Arsenal, but the transfer fee which is not so unreasonable is estimated at more than 100 million euros. Now Arsenal are one step closer to signing Declan Rice and I think West Ham will be willing to let him go if Arsenal can put that amount into their hands.

Maybe Freiburg failed to secure a place in the champions league next season, but at least they still get the chance to play in the European league. I think their performance this season in the bundesliga is not too bad because they managed to finish 5th in the standings and they proved that they can compete with other top 4 teams during this competition. In the next season we will still see Freiburg to threaten the top 4 position and I'm pretty sure they will not give up to be able to repeat the same thing as this year. It's just that Freiburg has to add several new players to strengthen their performance so that they are more stable for the upcoming bundesliga.

What I just noticed. Freiburg was at place 2 before the long winter break. On the first matchday after the winter break, they were at place 4  and did not get any higher after that. I remember that they had loaned out Keven Schade in January. He was an important player for Freiburg until then. They also loaned Keven Schlotterbeck to Bochum. That was certainly two of the reasons why they did not make it back to the top 3.
Well, for players to be loaned to other clubs I don't understand, but if that's the reason then it will make sense for Freiburg why they can only finish in 5th place in the standings. I think the influence of the players who carried the team at the start of the season was very important and if the players needed are even loaned to other clubs then they are not serious about being able to secure a place in the champions league. Apart from all that, I don't think Freiburg should have done that and if they really need funds by lending players then that's also not entirely wrong.

Vinicius Junior's market value has been updated to 150 million euros. He is such an incredible player truthfully. He joined Real Madrid on July 2018 and his market value was 35 million euros back then. In 5 years there has been an enormous level of increase in that value. Because he is continually improving his game and being more productive for his team. Especially due to Benzema's departure his responsibility here has increased a lot more as well. He will need to lead the team well from now on.

There were some rumours regarding Vinicius Junior to leave Real Madrid due to racist actions targeting him as well. But thankfully there is no such thing happening now. He is a very crucial player for the team no matter who they sign to fill Benzema's place.
Vini's market value increase was 30 million euros and that made him now the third most expensive football player after Mbappe and Haaland. However, it was not only Vini who received an increase in market value, but one of the other Real Madrid players from Brazil, Rodrygo also received an increase in market value to 100 million euros.

It seems that the future of Real Madrid will quite depend on this young Brazilian and we will see their form will improve even more in the next season. Regarding the rumors, it seems that there are no more and 100% Vini will stay at Real Madrid, besides that Florentino Perez loves his players very much and he makes sure that no team can touch him.

Kylian Mbappe has just released an official statement regarding his future with PSG. Kylian Mbappe said he would not sign a new contract with PSG, he had conveyed this to the board since July 15 2022 and Kylian Mbappe just wanted to confirm this clarity. As we know Kylian Mbappe's contract will expire in 2024 and he asked PSG not to go beyond that year. Kylian Mbappe also doesn't want to be sold at the end of this season and he wants to stay until his contract expires, but it seems that PSG has another view because of course they want to make a profit in this situation by selling Kylian Mbappe.

Currently, the best PSG can do is to sell Mbappe before in contract ends and that's how they can get profit from transferring this player to other teams.
According to transfermarkt, Mbappe is worth 180m right now and I'm sure teams like Real Madrid will even pay more money to this player.
However, I see even Arsenal wants to hire Mbappe for next season.

But the problem is Mbappe doesn't want to leave in the summer and he has already said he will stay at PSG until 2024. It looks like this will be an increasingly difficult problem to find the best solution. With such a large transfer fee, the only team that can afford to buy Mbappe this summer is Real Madrid, but for 2024 we will see more and more teams competing to sign Mbappe because his contract with PSG has ended. It might already be seen that a team like Arsenal are ready to secure a seat in order to get Mbappe's services, but what I know is that Arsenal are unlikely to want to spend more than 180 million euros for one player.

I also think it's a bit too early to start talking about it, also because the transfer market has to take place and some nations could place additional teams on the list.
For sure the winner take always the spot for the next year... let's see how it proceed but anyway it's always "a long battle" up to the finale...

yes, perhaps I opened it well in advance, I admit it
but this year it was a very fun Champions League
as was the championship, so many twists and turns and not the usual stuff that the same obvious teams win

really this season has been very exciting, I have seen new faces winning and this is the top
No problem man and I think there's nothing wrong with making a champions league thread for next season from now on because participants from various leagues also have new faces coming to enliven this competition. Talking about the champions league will always be fun because we know that now is the time to change the era to other young players after veterans have started leaving Europe or even retiring, so I think we will also see new young talents or football stars who Shining even more through the Champions League. Apart from all that, becoming a player who can win the champion league title is the dream of all players throughout Europe.

Galtier has been rumored to be a potential coach for napoli but i personally will not even agree with such decision to take him as a new coach. Im very glad to see that osimhen has same opinion as me.
Galtier is not even worthy to be signed as a new coach. It will not give a good progress for napoli. Napoli really needs a club that can guide the club to win UCL. Galtier was not the answer for such question

Quote
According to reports in France, Victor Osimhen advised Napoli not to go for his former LOSC coach Christophe Galtier, who was just fired by PSG.

https://punchng.com/osimhen-advises-napoli-against-hiring-galtier/

In my opinion if napoli shall have signed a coach that has ever won UCL. It will make napoli able to know the way to win UCL. Napoli has bigger target since it has been winning scudetto.
Osimhen is now targeting UCL trophy as the main target. It's caused by UCL is the most valuable trophy to be won.

Manchester city has become a winner this year and it's likely napoli got so many motivation from there.
It looks like this will be a new problem for Napoli if they have to appoint Galtier as Spalleti's replacement. We also understand how Galtier handles PSG and he often gets criticized for not being consistent enough to get positive results in several matches. Napoli don't have to rush to determine their next coach and make further observations so that the candidate for a new coach can be commensurate with Spalleti or more than that.

Osimhen also has good views regarding Galtier and his advice will certainly be taken into consideration by the Napoli management. Indeed, the champion league title is one of the dreams of any football player, including Osimhen, but Napoli must also maintain its performance again next season to defend the Scudetto title.

Even though in the EPL West Ham only managed to finish at the bottom of the standings, in European competition they managed to win the conference league title and this was all thanks to the cold concoction of coach David Moyes. Maybe you are already familiar with the name of this coach because he also coached Everton and Manchester United a few seasons ago, but with West Ham he was able to steal the public's attention again. Next season I think David Moyes has to prove his worth again and with the strategy he should have with West Ham he can reach a better position than he has this season.

5074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There are many advantages to the relationship between gambling and Bitcoin. on: June 13, 2023, 05:28:41 AM
Casinos that accept bitcoin as a payment method are the best options for gamblers who have issues about fees deducted while paying gaming fees. Another useful feature for gamblers is the ability to send bitcoin in exchange for gambling selections to be activated. Bitcoin is literally utilized for gaming in crypto-related casinos, and the traffic to these casinos' websites has increased since they tend to harbor more gamblers who are also familiar with bitcoin, and it is one of the simplest and fastest growing casino advancements in the system.
As a gambler who always uses bitcoin or crypto when making bets, I am greatly helped by this convenience. We don't need to do complicated things like fiat deposits with various conditions and using bitcoin is one of the things that can make our privacy safe and also easy to make any transactions. I think this development is also very well followed by many gambling sites or online casinos because it can attract the interest of gamblers who were previously afraid because they have to protect their data.
5075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: June 13, 2023, 05:12:39 AM
Saudi pro league has been trying to make a new history in the football. People see this league as a league with so many rich club. There will always be bright and dark sides in any league. I hope the old case that already happened with al ahli will not happen again.
Al ahli has the intention to sign a good coach from EU but seeing this club has a dark history like owe its player's salary. I think that if anyone who will be dealing with this club must be careful.

Lewis grabban's salary has been owed by al ahli even this club was losing in the court against lewis grabban. I hope that any players will try to take a look at the history of the club before they decide to join the arabian club.
I know some were very rich clubs like nassr and al hilal but i don't see the detail of the rest of the clubs and how rich they are.

I just heard about this and if I'm not mistaken Al-Ahli is a club in the 1st division of the saudi league which will begin promotion to the SPL next season. It seems they don't want to lose to the competition from other Saudi clubs who are competing to be able to bring in coaches or top players from Europe.

Apart from that, I've also heard other rumors that they just made an offer worth £85 million over 3 years for Riyad Mahrez from Manchester City and it seems very unlikely for Al-Ahli if they want to sign a European player with such a problematic track record.

With the departure of Benzema the biggest question has become "Who will take his place in his position?". Rodrygo is normally a right winger and he can play on the left wing or as a centre-forward when there is a need as well. However his statistics hasn't been very impressive in times he played as the centre-forward. He is much more beneficial as a winger which can be understood from his statistics there as well - 10 goals, 9 assists in 25 matches. He should stay as right winger in the lineup as much as possible.

From now on I hope to see a solid attacking trio on the front. Vinicius on the left, Rodrygo on the right and a solid centre-forward in the middle. I wonder who that striker will be. Martinez and Kane have different characteristics. Kane is more like a complete forward who can do a lot of things to help the team. He has made many assists to Son so far in addition to his amazing finishing skills.

But Martinez is also a great scorer and much younger. If they have to pay 100+ million euros for each one of them then it is up to what kind of a striker they are looking for exactly.

I think, Real Madrid will start experiencing negative things like Liverpool from next season because I don't see any potential players among the players here who can handle that Karim Benzema position very well, and it will take the team a long time before they can get it right.  Martinez is a good player if Real Madrid will accept his past performance to sign him into the team because he is very young like victor Osimhen which he still have more strength to sustain the team to a higher position if the opportunity is given. I don't think, Real Madrid will leave Martinez and choose Kane because by age they still believe in Martinez like someone that will have long strength to perform well.
It's quite risky for Real Madrid next season because so far they haven't got striker number 9 which was previously used by Benzema. But I'm pretty sure Real Madrid will move quickly to fill the void before next season's La Liga starts. The candidates currently available are top European strikers, both Kane and Martinez, both of whom are still very consistent in contributing to scoring goals for their respective clubs and if one of them joins Real Madrid it will certainly change his future for the better. Now what makes it a little difficult for Real Madrid to get a striker is the decision of each club and of course they want a very high transfer fee for their players.
5077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 13, 2023, 03:17:13 AM
Chelsea always following neymar situation year after year though.

Next season could be a decider for him personally to choose to stay at psg or move elsewhere to a club with huge ambitions and past history to win things. Manchester united and chelsea keen to sign him but for now it would cost a lot so yeah keeping him on the radar is the best action they could do. Ligue 1 will never be the same without messi leaving and now mbappe on the verge to leave as well.
Neymar will move to MLS most likely, maybe he will follow Messi to Inter Miami or another team but his departure from PSG is almost sure. The number of injuries taken by him will make him think twice before playing again with PSG.
After Neymar and Messi, mbappe will start thinking about moving to Real Madrid eventually.
The future of the PSG star is indeed uncertain and it is possible that Neymar will indeed follow Messi to MLS, it will surely be a shock to the whole world. Neymar is increasingly running out of time in Europe because he has too often experienced a decline in performance since suffering an injury and it is not certain that he will be as usual when he returns to defend PSG later. But I think PSG really have to look for alternative new players soon and if not they will start having trouble defending the Ligue 1 title or even competing in European competition. Mbappe probably won't feel at home if there isn't a star player to match and he doesn't have all PSG's needs going to him.
5078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 13, 2023, 02:36:06 AM
Pep Guardiola has shown in the past that he's very good in replacing members of his squad immediately they leave his club and he does it so efficiently that the player's absence wouldn't be felt no matter how important he was to the team's progress. He did it after the departure of Vincent Kompany, Yaya Toure, Sergio Aguero, and David Silva .
However I think IIkay Gundogan still has a lot in the tank to give out when it comes to delivering top performances for ManCity but time will tell if he'll remain in the club to do more for them or be allowed to leave
Pep Guardiola managed to overhaul his players after being abandoned by some of his veteran players and this made Manchester City even more feared for any team that became his opponent. If Pep Guardiola can maintain his current squad for the next few seasons I think they will continue to dominate the EPL or even Europe.

Regarding Gundogan who will leave Manchester City, I think he will still consider his next career because after winning the treble winner for the first time for Manchester City, sometimes players feel satisfied and want to leave the club immediately to start a new challenge, but if Gundogan wants to stay then he will still be able to win everything if with manchester city.
5079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: June 13, 2023, 02:23:15 AM
Sevilla have the same dominance Real Madrid have in the Champions League here. Sevilla are called as the king of the Europa League as you know and the thing I wonder the most is whether any other team will be able to change this. It is really not easy to beat Sevilla about the number of titles achieved right now. While Sevilla have 7 titles the closest opponents have 3.

And those opponents are Liverpool, Juventus, Inter and Atletico Madrid. All of them are normally teams seen in the Champions League mostly. But next season we will be watching Liverpool in the Europa League. This can be quite interesting. Sevilla are going to be in the Champions League maybe but they might drop down here again who knows.

It would be really lovely to watch a finale between Sevilla and Liverpool.  Grin  I think Liverpool would be one step ahead in that case.
Indeed, it has become a tradition for teams from Spain to be able to win titles in European competition, but this time the lucky ones were only Sevilla who managed to bring home their 7th trophy to Spain and Real Madrid had to settle for reaching the semifinals of the champions league. But other facts related to results in the domestic league cannot be commonplace for these two teams and even so they will be strong enough to dominate the two European competitions next season.

I think Sevilla this time will not be as calm as last season because there will be many other teams that were previously in the Champions League finally getting a place in the European league and I quite agree that one of these teams is Liverpool which could be a barrier for Sevilla to win the title in Europa League next season.
5080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 13, 2023, 02:11:24 AM
Anyway, congrats to Cagliari for making it back to Serie A next season after 14 years in Serie B. Cagliari made their move to Serie A after beating Bari in the Serie B promotion play-off match with a narrow score of 1-0. The coach figure behind Cagliari's success in breaking into Serie A is Claudio Ranieri, as we know he is a very senior coach in football and he has also often handled other top European teams during his career.

Cagliari brought in Claudio Ranieri as coach in the middle of last season and after six months with Cagliari he took the team to the top of the Italian competition and I think that's a very great thing. We will see the competition in Serie A next season getting fiercer and as one of the long-awaited teams, Cagliari will definitely give their best.
Cagliari was relegated on season 2021/2022 and this is fantastic moment for them because it took only 1 season for them to return to Serie A and this is really unpredictable because Cagliari starting the league with poor performance and it caused their previous manager Fabio Liverani have to sacked because at that time Cagliari only able to reach 14 place on league standings

And the arrival of Claudio Ranieri in january has make big difference to Cagliari because from 24 matches Cagliari only gets two lose under him and at the end of league Cagliari can able to finish at 5th place and this make Cagliari will through an play off match to gets 1 ticket to promote to Serie A and it became so special because Cagliari has won dramatically from Bari because Leandro Pavoletti has scored goal at the end of second half
Sorry it seems I wrote the wrong information above and thank you for correcting it correctly. It seems only last season that Cagliari were relegated and after one season in Serie B they can bounce back to Serie A next season. It was quite a difficult season for Cagliari under the previous coach and the arrival of Claudio Ranieri could change things for the better. I think losing twice in 24 games is a really fantastic record for a coach who started Cagliari for the rest of the season and indeed for Claudio Ranieri's greatness we don't have to doubt his greatness for sure he is doing great things like other top coaches.
