5061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If btc > $150k, will you still gamble it? on: October 30, 2020, 08:37:23 AM
After so much positive speculation, optimism in markets, accumulation by institutional investors, too many analysts predicting a new ATH for btc, let's say if everything goes good and btc reaches extremely high price, will you still gamble it? Or will you 'be able' to gamble it? Won't the fees distract you from using it in gambling?

Take the poll and share your opinion.

Such a high bitcoin price would be awesome for us incestors. If the volatility remains low in bitcoins I don't see a reason why it should affect the our gambling habits too much. Most of us are used to gamble with satoshis. If bitcoins become so expensive it will just be more of fractions of satoshis we will play with. In the end casinos will adapt and offer more nano gambling.
5062  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you believe magic real? on: October 30, 2020, 08:16:44 AM
A good magic show is a lot of fun and very entertaining to watch and definitely makes the mind go crazy, because you don't normally know how the trick is done. But we all know that magic is not real, there is always a simple explanation for the tricks. As a kid I used to love to watch the Magic Show of the Masked Magician: Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed. He could explain almost every Magic Trick.

Justifies 'banning such behaviour' on the internets which, of course, requires a framework to do so.  Who could have imagined?

As always the US makes more enemies with their actions in the long run. I agree we need tougher laws in the west to regulate propaganda on the internet. But people are so scared of the police and to give up freedom when being online. Almost everyone has a mobile phone and access to the internet these days. We need a tradeoff between being independent and have freedom online to being able to prosecute the people who post hateful things online. There should be a real punishment for these people.
5064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: October 29, 2020, 08:44:45 AM

Has it affected your gameplay somehow?

Some gamblers think if the price is so expensive it would be difficult to get profits.

For me the rise in bitcoins definitely made a difference in gambling. In the beginning I used mainly bitcoins to deposit money at online casinos. But since the price is so high now, I tend to deposit with FIAT money instead. And when I withdraw I usually withdraw with bitcoins. So gambling became another way for me to switch FIAT money into cryptos. In general a bitcoin rise shouldn't change our approach to gambling, we can still make profits.
5065  Other / Off-topic / Re: Online Shopping on: October 29, 2020, 08:38:17 AM
So you should be careful with prices because the same product get different rates from different sellers.
Right, thats why I go for seller with high ratings and good reviews based on customer's experience with their product.

If you have lots of money then price tags wont be an issue. However for wise buyers its a must to check and compare the price to other same items to get discount but with same quality.

Reviews are usually also my criteria to decide from which seller I am going to buy online. But the thing I keep noticing with online reviews is that, they can't all be legit. For example on Ebay, I rarely a see a seller with less than 95% rating. How can it be that almost all of the reviews and comments people leave for sellers are positive?
5066  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis will be new normal but its not bad on: October 29, 2020, 08:27:25 AM
I have read some where people not talk of great reset and this seems like those that believe in the Jubilee conspiracy theory are goig to be right, I have watch videos on Youtube highlighting how these Jubilee thing is coming, and I thing Year 2020 is going to bring it to pass, these is no way the world can survive these high level of Debt, Debt is increasing but low productivity because people prefer to invest in Stock market for quick gains than invest into a real business.

I hope the high debt levels will just normalise in the years to come. It seems we are very close to a vaccine at the moment. If such a vaccine can be mass produced at the beginning of 2021 we could see a return to the old normal next year. Once the corona virus is contained I am pretty sure we will see very high growth in the near future.
5067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: October 28, 2020, 08:54:44 PM

So my question is whether you prefer multi bets to single bets and whether you find multi bets significantly more risky than single bets.

In my opinion multi bets are much more risky than single bets, because you combine multiple bets into one. Sometimes when I am really sure about the some games I combine a few bets for higher payouts, but in general I try to stick to single bets. Personally I prefer winning more often with lower payouts. When I started with sports betting I used multi bets much more often than these days. One good way to use mutli bets is when taking part in some giveaways where there is a minimum odds of 2 or higher required. So combining many low risk bets into one can make it eligible for free bets while still having a good chance of winning.
5068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Welcome Bonuses Without Restrictions ... fun or test. on: October 28, 2020, 10:57:15 AM
Welcome bonuses are great way to try out new casino websites and different games than our usual home games like dice or blackjack. For me it's been a while I came across fully unrestricted bonuses, because there are usually some fine prints in the TOS about withdrawing these bonuses. They might be without restrictions on the sense that you use it in any game you like but you are unable to withdraw winnings because there is either an minimum amount you need to reach before withdrawing or a number of bets you need to do before cashing out. This is absolutely fine because casinos can't afford to give away free money on a regular basis.
5069  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which is the best life? on: October 28, 2020, 10:43:09 AM
Which is the best life and why?  Huh

1. Childhood Cool
2. Married Grin
3. Unmarried Wink

Explain not mandatory here, just show your positive response.

In my opinion the childhood was the best life. Kids have a lot of spare time to play and meet friends and don't worry about problems. The only issue is that when we are younger we only think about growing up and all the things we are not allowed to do yet because of age restrictions. Later in life as married or unmarried you have to worry about so many things.
5070  Other / Politics & Society / Re: All Christian Countries Got Fucked! on: October 28, 2020, 10:30:22 AM
I don't know, if you go back a few hundred years the Muslims and catholics were fighting in Europe and the Middle East. In current times most western countries don't try to fight based on religions. There are usually more issues to war than just religion, I would argue the wars usually take place because of economic reasons.

In the Armenia-Azerbaijan it's actually not Armenia at war. It's an automous region within Azerbaijan than is inhabited by Armenian people. The land is international recognised as Azerbaijan. So if Armenia would actually be at war I am pretty sure there would be countries come and support them.

I would rephrase the statement like this: for the western nations, economic interests are more important than religious solidarity, while for the Muslims nations that is not the case. Anyway, no one can ignore a country such as Turkey, which is such an important economic power. Even Russia don't want to support Armenia (despite historical connections), because Turkey is a major trade partner for them. Recently Russia sold S-400 systems and other defense equipment to them, and also the Turkstream gas pipeline runs through Turkish territory.

But the problem is that Turkey and its proxies will keep chipping away territories from the Christians. After Armenia, the Azeri populated regions of Georgia will be the target. And after that the Russian Caucasus will be up in flames.

I agree with you that there is more community between Muslim countries than there is between Christian countries. Europe is a great example by that, the east and the west are so divided, there is no harmony or community between these countries.

The problem with Armenia is that the region they are fighting in is internationally recognized as Azerbaijan. It's a war not between the country of Armenia and Azerbaijan. If Azerbaijan would invade the land of Armenia that Russia would have to join the war, they still have defensive pact. And if Turkey would declare war on Armenia they would likely be kicked out of Nato.
5071  Economy / Economics / Re: rich people super rich are taking loans now why? what it means ? on: October 28, 2020, 10:24:47 AM
Why is being an issue and becoming questionable? Rich people are also like ordinary type of people taking up loans for a purpose and that is maybe to start up funding essential things that he find to make him more profitable and he just maybe not having enough money so to sustain and fill out such flaws, taking up loans is their way to resolve the problem. Actually taking up loans are not new at all for businesses are doing it also borrowing money from banks to fund the business so they can make use of it as a capital or for maintenance purposes of the business branch. Loaning money is just another strategic way to start up a business so rich people can also do it like ordinary people do. There is no exception on taking up loans as long as you have the capacity to pay for it.

I think issue here is that people want to copy what rich people are doing. They probably think that if they do the same things rich people are doing than they will become rich themselves. The problem here is that I can't be compared that easily. The super rich people usually own large parts of companies and use their money differently to the average man. The usual borrower from a bank uses the funds to buy a house or a new car, whereas the super rich use the loans to invest.
5072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In-play or pre-match staking on: October 28, 2020, 10:07:36 AM

I will like you people to let us discuss about pre-match type of staking or in-play staking in football, which one did you prefer? Which one is more risky?

My experience in staking is very limited. I think pre match staking depends a lot on your track record and how good you are in general, while in-play staking depends more on your daily play. The thing about in-play staking is that you have more information available, then when staking before. I would say that the latter is more risky. But overall staking shouldn't make a big difference in the performance of a professional.
5073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your fears in new cryptocurrency? on: October 28, 2020, 09:51:53 AM
In the beginning when I started investing in bitcoins I was afraid that the prices could drop over night and make my holdings worthless, but I have been around for years now and know that the even when prices drop, they will just recover in a few weeks. My main fear in crypto currencies these days is that the government could try to fight them, either by outright banning them and make crypto currency transaction illegal. Another form to fight the rise in cryptos could be to increase taxation. I know this doesn't seem very likely at the moment and should be more of a long term trend.
5074  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the Digital Yuan makes China even more powerful? on: October 28, 2020, 09:39:57 AM
China has been testing the Digital Yuan and soon the Digital Yuan (DCEP) will be implemented soon. Will this move make China even more independent and more powerful? And what are the consequences for the world trade?

Read the article: China Soon to Legalize Digital Yuan and Ban Other Stablecoins, DCEP to Work With WeChat and AliPay

I don't think so. China is still not a free country, the economy and the hole nation is being controlled by the communist party. The same goes for the currency, the Yuan is not freely traded. So the same will likely go for the digital Yuan. Investors in a digital currency looking for security and independence. I think this currency will likely be important within China, but not internationally.
5075  Other / Politics & Society / Re: how protests SHOULD be done on: October 28, 2020, 09:30:01 AM
so in the last 6 months we have seen many protests. and most end up just turning into riots/media circuses but dont cause actual change. and here is the reason
many idiots think a protest is about causing a riot/damage to get media attention under the hope that they can blackmail government into changing laws just to get the property damage to stop.
sorry this never works

I fully agree with you, this form of protesting is not about changing the system you live in, the riots are all about destruction and personal gain. The people looting are outright thieves and should be treated as such. They are not interested in changing their country, only in breaking things. And just look at the all the people they are hurting. Imagine one of your family member gets attacked by the riot, or their business is getting destroyed. Do you thing your family is going to vote for Democrats? These riots just make it worse. Already Mahatma Gandhi understand that protest needs to be peaceful.
5076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can i start a btc dice site with 30btc? on: October 28, 2020, 09:20:13 AM
i still have 15btc intact. do you think it is a good idea to start up a dice site with investors?

15 BTC is not so much anymore compared to initial 30 BTC. I would recommend to spread your risk a bit and take in some investors. If you experience a bad beat right now you should be able to recover in the next month. Or alternatively you could try to limit the max amount people can bet on your site. When you reduce the betting amounts for a while you should be able to limit your losses too.
5077  Other / Off-topic / Re: Sleeping on: October 28, 2020, 09:12:50 AM
For weekdays I sleep about 6 hours, except for holidays I can sleep up to 10 hours.  Grin

Same for me, during the week I try to get atleast 7 hours of sleep but it never works out. With checking the internet late at night on my phone it's usually 6 hours I only get. On the weekend I can sleep much longer when I don't have plans.
5078  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: October 28, 2020, 08:56:07 AM
I think Bitcoins are ready to be the World Wide Number 1 Currency, unfortunately most countries are not ready. The understanding of and believing in crypto currencies is not enough yet in most countries. Bitcoins are being used by many people all around the world, but the number of people who don't want use any internet currency is still high. Just by looking at my parents I see that lack the undestanding and are too afraid to try something new. They are just to old to go with cryptos. In 10-20 years most countries should be ready to adopt bitcoins as number one currency.
5079  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible Patterns of Recovery on: October 27, 2020, 09:16:36 AM
I think there are two big factors for the rectory from the pandemic which are going to have huge impacts on consumer and business sentiments. First of all will the news of a successful long term vaccine against corona finally signal an end to the pandemic. If there is a way to mass produce a functional vaccine that is affordable for all countries, even the poorest, than there is hope we have the worst behind us. The second big factor would be another round of government bailout for the companies. If the government would inject more money into the economy it would help everybody.
5080  Other / Off-topic / Re: The amount of people older than you never goes up! on: October 27, 2020, 08:50:38 AM
Just a fact I wanted to share.

It's kind of like a big battle royale game, where the number of competitors for oldest person just keeps going down. And you never know, maybe you're going to win, or in the future we'll all just live forever or for centuries.

Pretty crazy huh?

Yeah funny fact. The only way how this could happen if we were able to create people in the lab by genetic research. Imagine we could just grow people who are already 30 years old. That would change demographics completely.
