5081  Other / Meta / Re: [TELEGRAM BOT] Merit, Trust List, etc. [INFORMATION] on: February 12, 2020, 11:20:44 AM
I thought I did received 100 merits today. That is very surprising cause I check yesterday the merits received for 120days and gave me 374 and checked again just now it became 474 and I check my merits still same. I thought someone dump me 50 and another 50  Grin

Ive noticed that sometime it got some error or inaccurate display of merits received. But this is okay as bots are usually like this. But this is really an awesome bot. Hoping for more additional features. Thanks for this, counting merits will not be a problem anymore.

Were you full member before merit system came to existence? If so, op might have updated bot to count airdropped merits.

Just a blind guess  Tongue

Edit: nvm, I only see my earned merits (not counting airdropped merits) but count is not correct (I have got 24 merits but it shows 22).
5082  Other / Meta / Re: Launch Possible of bitcointalk.org forum mobile application ? on: February 12, 2020, 11:10:51 AM
Since I registered, I have always used bitcointalk on mobile and never felt the need of mobile application, and with quote/mention telegram bots, I am content.
5083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Can Seriously Diminish The Quality Of Your Life. on: February 11, 2020, 03:35:03 AM
i fucking love gambling and i'm a degenerate so, i'm not sure what the point of this thread is

You can't help someone who does not want to be helped, so enjoy your gambling, what else can we say.
5084  Other / Meta / Re: Free Forum Improvement Idea - Forum Font Colour Switch on: February 10, 2020, 04:03:50 AM
Use this extension: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5178297.0

It's best one I have found so far. 'Use dark 3' preset if you want light blue with black.
5085  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Mobile Friendly App for Android on: February 10, 2020, 03:57:45 AM
Not sure if op is still active, possible to make chrome extension as well? Because many mobile browsers support chrome extensions (kiwi, yandex) while not Firefox ones.
5086  Other / Meta / Re: List of Bitcointalk.org Userscripts/ Add-ons on: February 10, 2020, 03:54:10 AM
New one: BitcointalkProjectBot

Helpful to keep track of trust list.

5087  Other / Meta / Re: [TELEGRAM BOT] Merit, Trust List, etc. [INFORMATION] on: February 10, 2020, 03:49:49 AM
I like how bot don't count airdropped merits  Tongue
5088  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What wallet should I use for Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2020, 06:04:49 AM
I use Coinomi, as long you have minimal funds and just looking for wallet on the go, it's a good option. Hardware wallets like trezor, ledger are most secure, you can use them with your android by otg cable.
5089  Local / India / Re: ZebPay is back? on: February 08, 2020, 04:22:04 AM
Wallet maintenance fee? Looks something new for me.

Yes, and it's like 60 inr per month, if you make at least one trade in month you won't be paying fees for that month. I hope every zebpay wallet user is aware of it, otherwise they will be paying fees unknowingly.
5090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: February 08, 2020, 04:15:56 AM
Trying to prepare myself for some market correction that may occur before the bull run market totally take over the market but i would like to know from you guys or the Gold token BM if the Gold token marketplace now recognize "bc1" as bitcoin wallet?

It does not yet, I just tried to make a transaction from gold to BTC, it doesn't recognize bc1 address.
5091  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Warning for all Android users! on: February 07, 2020, 12:17:03 PM
The great advice should be "stop using android, it's not trusted enough", but what would be the alternative!?
There are a number of open source mobile operating systems built upon the Android Open Source Project you could look in to instead if you want to make the move away from stock Android, such as GrapheneOS or LineageOS. There's also completely non-android OSs such as Ubuntu Touch. These will also give you a big privacy boost over stock Android.

To make that switch, you will need to root and flash that os, imo that is even worse than using stock android.
5092  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Apart from AIRDROPS AND Bounties, Are there other ways to OWN cryptocurrecies. on: February 06, 2020, 09:24:30 AM
Use steemit, it's kind of like Reddit. You get rewarded with upvotes which has monetary value. You can exchange steem with other cryptos if you like.
But, to survive in Steemit and to earn from Steemit you should contribute worth content to the community. If you are sharing worth knowledge then you can even earn from Bitcointalk as well.

Yeah, but op said apart from bounties and airdrops. On bitcointalk, most content creation comes under bounties so I didn't mention that.
5093  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Poll - How did you find out about Bitcointalk? on: February 06, 2020, 03:49:07 AM
I can't recall actually, but guess it was via search. I created account, everything felt alien, then the account got hacked in that infamous hack, since it didn't have much activity I created my current account and here we are.

5095  Economy / Services / Re: TMAN's Services Bitches.. You want to be seen? TMAN is keen. on: February 05, 2020, 04:47:31 AM
Wow! What's this? Serious or sarcasm. If serious, what's need of vulgar language or high rank gives you some superiority, sir?
5096  Other / Off-topic / Re: In Need Of Free Translations on: February 05, 2020, 04:42:20 AM
I guess services section would be more proper than this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0 (you can use 'move topic' from bottom left to do that!)

If living didn't require money, I would have surely helped you with your free translations  Tongue
5097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the next decade, BTC and digital currencies will “fully” replace fiat? on: February 04, 2020, 04:45:58 AM
It's not that easy, most of the world population haven't even heard about cryptocurrencies, adoption is later thing.
5098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The profitability and effort put into different ways of earning bitcoin on: February 04, 2020, 04:42:55 AM
As you can see, signature campaigns will not earn you a lot of money, so for example if you earn $2 a day like cryptotalk pays then you will end up with $60 per month and $720 per year which is easily blown on rent. I'm surprised more earners here aren't blogging since that generally has higher rates of return than a sig campaign and is also slightly easier to do.

Blogging takes way more effort than a signature campaign, you need to constantly come up with a new content, while for sign campaigns you can give your thoughts on other people's topics. Much easier in my opinion.
5099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: February 03, 2020, 05:40:20 AM
There are coins which are feeless, does that mean they are king of 'em all? Nope. Imo, bnb is much restricted to binance exchange and if binance goes down, bnb too.
5100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gonna sell my stock assets and invest in these top currencies. Suggestions? on: February 03, 2020, 05:37:53 AM
I'd suggest to invest some % in steem, it's cheap right now (bit pumped last days but still cheap), it's has active community and new dapps keep coming. SMTs and communities are launching soon as well.
