I don't know what's your claim really for. Roger offers a bounty because he doesn't even know who the hacker is. However, you know who's holding your bitcoin. Just use the 400BTC to pay a lawyer to sue them, or pay whoever to do whatever you want
He very likely doesn't have the 400 btc and the 400 btc are going to be coming out of the 1132 or whatever that Davout has. This is more interesting then the average bitcoin theft/scam whatever, because the accused still participates in the community and apparently is continuing to do so with no ill effects. Unless there's pieces of the puzzle I'm missing here that paint DAvout in a better light. Because it looks pretty bad so far. But we've only heard one side of the story(which is somewhat telling). I specifically remember when instawallet shut down and the owners were saying on this forum something along the lines of 'relax, everyone who was not affected by the address leak will be repaid'. And it's been a very long period of complete silence as far as I can tell. Has there been any progress at all, or even communication? Well, you're wrong on the last point. The discussion and conflict never ended since. Do some research, it is an endless headache.

What about a date of release for the open source code ? This is taking so long that it looks like Darkcoin can only rely on having a closed source.

The bright side is that this means the coin is still extremely profitable for home miners once we can get the pools running as efficiently as solo. It's very rare for a coin to be so profitable as to be mineable on EC2. My i7-4770 is getting $2/day of BBR. Before the cryptonote coins came around, it was getting less than $0.50 per day mining Riecoin.
For me with 4-5 i7s... Ducks and Mount appear to be more profitable than BBR... And the payout is consistent (for random payouts I wouldn't bother). There will be a flood of CNotes... then a thinning of the herd. BBR logo should be a big strawberry with a bite out of it... Maybe we get lucky and Apple Inc tries to sue... seriously. I own a duckNote pool BTW along with a Monero pool (with a friend): http://monero.crypto-pool.fr/ http://duck.crypto-pool.fr/Lowest orphan rate, optimized code. Soon DDOS protection as we got attacked yesterday.

Something I have been thinking about, I think that a currency needs new coins to be minted for all time. For this argument, let us assume that we do not need miners to solve the security problem, so miners are only needed for making new coins. I believe that a currency might need this because it takes away incentive for others to compete with that currency. Also it would lower the eventual cost of transactions. If there is always an amount of new coin generated, it could drive people to join instead of fight. Hmmm. Any opinions?
There will always be incentive to compete when a currency is based completely on free market mentality, there will always be the people who want to get rich quick and be early adopters. Plus once a currency become established it becomes long and cumbersome to add or change features. Bitcoin is an example of this where most features that are desirable in a new alt could be worked into Bitcoin fairly quickly and easily but there are too many involved to make decisions like that. Yes that's the problem of Bitcoin. You cannot change anything. The power is in the hand of a small cartel of miners that own all the network and refuse any change because it could go against their profit.

why did you chose this name ? It seems not a really good name for a currency to me. I'm thinking of buying but that name just keep me away for now. I'll buy some if you make me a good offer through pm's ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) anyway good luck ! The name is the main reason I am buying blindly on Poloniex. When I'm buying Boolberry I feel like it's more than just a crypto. It feels like I can almost touch and feel the Boolberries. Hmmm... tasty... I put them all over my naked body.

The fucking French are a fucking nightmare. Do not do any deals with French. This is the only way they know how to profit because they have ZERO technical ability.
Do you know french IT leads the world in implementation skills? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Nope, it's the Chinese. They just don't brag about it because they don't want the world to know of their true power.![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fglobal3.memecdn.com%2Fchinese-iphone_c_962973.jpg&t=663&c=YMRS9k4-DwiNiw) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fbeijingcream.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2012%2F07%2F15-LEAD-Made-in-China-and-Germany.jpeg&t=663&c=ngDBjOmfFPxk9A) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fglobal3.memecdn.com%2FMade-In-China-Made-In-Africa_o_141039.jpg&t=663&c=9pPAb3Q9dNz2NA)

For your information I accepted to be an escrow for NTX. A trade of 0.5 BTC has been done already between peled1986 and duola9527. Yes I can do it. The deal is like this : People contact me. I create a NTX address to receive the NTX. One send NTX, the other send BTC. I take fee of 0.02BTC or 0.9% which ever is greater from the BTC. I send the BTC to one and I give the NTX password to the other.

I think it's 27XMR actually to be more precise ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) The pool is showing total paid out @ 59xmr but I have only got 32XMR. My hashing speed is between 18-20Khash. when will be disbursed? difference 1 xmr 4A3EYem9FetgT1uXS4PZ4m5CqmhQuqynx5rBNGLstkxfPFRk48Ma4Ab6xeXGPrHKXzWQLgF1k3vioS6 qS5TbGArDJ3f7JbA
You are both right. After a checking accounts and addresses we found that 8 addresses have missing XMR. Please wait, we have to check again to be sure and we will process the payment manually ASAP. Nothing was lost. No need to panic.

Nice!
What do you think we should do first?
Things I like: - Video of the client in use - Introduction video (professional made) - Gambling giveaway (promotion where noobs can claim X CHA and then gamble and who gets most profit can win something) - Signature giveaway - Social Media promotion - What else?
Who is good at making tutorial videos ? It's too early for social media promotion, we must focus on this forum which is already a giant nest of cryptomaniac. Did we have a signature template earlier ?

Any French can reach Davout easily because he is not hiding at all. On the contrary, he goes to many meetup.
This is really weird. Why isn't he hiding if he stole so much Bitcoins ? Why didn't he disappear and live a good life ??
And why are you ready to give 400 BTC ??

i am using the the http 1111 port seems i am giving more shares(claymores gpu and cpu) but as i read on the web page it says Switch to TCP protocol. i tried it and it doesnt give shares as much as http.
That's quite surprising but if it works better for you, keep using the http. You have to know that the http can miss more shares than stratum resulting in lower payout.

I am offering a 100 XMR bounty for adding merged mining support into node-cryptonote-pool. I'm thinking the password could be used for FCN address.. Or perhaps a new mining parameter could be added for merged mining addresses?
So it is actually possible ?

Is there something wrong here in this log ? No transactions from the pools are coming through since the last 24h ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) I see some Tx verification failed errors also.... A fucking retarded hacker was DDOSing the pool for hours. It stopped now. We're going to implement the first DDOS protection for Monero pool. We are actively fixing the code for this to stop. Ok, Nice to hear that and thanks for the quick reply. You mentioned earlier about doing some manual payouts. I am also missing about 30XMR from yesterday - was the payout system compromised too and all the payouts have to be done manually now ? 30 XMR ? That's impressive. What is your hashing speed ? Let me check the status of payment and balances...
