5081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: October 19, 2020, 06:29:22 PM
The game of NE was exasperating to watch, this was the first time a Belichick team lost when the defence did not allowed a TD, the score may seem close but if it was not for the excellent defence that could have been easily become a blowout, what is worse is that for the most part NE is experimenting the same offensive problems than last year and nothing was done to try to fix them, the sacks against Cam happened because no one was open and when we add that Cam himself is not the most accurate QB this compounds the problem.

I know there have been injuries and the lack of practice due to the coronavirus did no help but the loss against DEN was critical. Now NE has to face SF, at BUF, at NYJ, BAL, at HOU and ARI, except for the NYJ all seem like very difficult games especially if the offence keeps scoring 21.8 PPG, the games against SF and BAL are sure losses and the game against NYJ is a sure win, but the games against BUF, HOU and ARI are up on the air.

I dont think the game against the niners is a sure loss.  Same thing for baltimore, the eagles just took them to the brink why couldn't the Pats.  I do agree there is little to no way they can lose against the jets, i dont think the jets have a chance to win a single game this year they are pathetic.

I'll be pissed if its just the Vikings that screw me over as I really thought they were a certain winner with the way the Falcons have been playing so far.

We all got hoodwinked by the Vikings, 60% of my bets lost because of them, unbelievable.

Steelers spanked Cleveland real good, Giants got NY first win of the season and Patriots surprisingly lost at home.

New England Patriots fall below .500 this late in NFL season for first time since 2002

Anyone watching Packers vs. Tampa game? Rodgers with 2 INT in three passes, Bucs 28 unanswered points, leading big at the half.

Yes the giants finally won lol.  Hard to believe that if the cowboys lose tonight the giants will be only one game out of first place.  The nfc east this year can be a year where first place only wins 6 games.  6-10 hosting a home field playoff game, terrible lol
5083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Atari Token: Public Sale of the Atari Token to begin October 29, 2020 on: October 16, 2020, 10:58:33 PM
Reasons to not "invest" into this:

1) its being sold on bitcoin.com
2) the atari group is entitled to 35% of the sale revenue from this sale.

I wish icos and "public sales" would just be a thing of the past.  Its the biggest scam going and people still buy into this crap.  Crypto does not need an ico, period
5084  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: October 16, 2020, 10:42:35 PM
Governments all around the World Secretly start using together with banks the bitcoins.
Oil is done so They replace bitcoin instead of oil.

The btc volatility might go like daily 50k-100k price Changes.

Bitcoin will be instutionalized permanently.
The Global market prices Liqutation postion will be fluctuated by Bitcoin price.

I said this before but nobody didnt listen but now its here!!

People are getting way ahead of theirs elves, oil is not going anywhere anytime soon nor does bitcoin sit in the same asset class so its a wierd statement.  Gold will also be around for a very long time as well.  People like physical assets way to much for everything to go 100% digital.  In my eyes bitcoin isn't competing with them, it is rounding out the asset class.
5085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: October 16, 2020, 08:33:35 PM
Exactly, just a Money Greedy Guy...
Too much drama and he was just good in PIT because he had a great Offensive line...
It is interesting how things turned out for the PIT killer bees, Brown is out of the league after playing just one game with NE and Bell had done absolutely nothing with the NYJ, this is not completely his fault as it is without a doubt the worst team on the league right now, however lets see what he can do in KC system that could use his talent to his maximum capacity.

Well to be fair I dont think Barry sanders would be able to run behind that line.   Nobody is going to be successful on that team right now.  For both him and the jets its better if they both part ways.
While I think you have a point I still think Barry could run behind that line and pull off some decent numbers, even if he has the record for most carries for negative years that is because he had to dance a lot before the line of scrimmage and since his style of running was not about just overpowering his opponents he had a lot of carries for a loss of yards, but even then I think he could run behind that line which shows the huge difference between a good RB like Bell and a HOF RB like Barry.

I was being semi sarcastic but yeah nl comparison between Barry and most every other rb to ever play.  Put it this way, with the jets line I don't think any current rb would be good, same with the giants, Saquon is being squandered on that team.  He moves to another team and he is an insta star
5086  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a new $2 trillion bill bring back the US economy to pre pandemic levels. on: October 15, 2020, 11:56:11 PM
its a stop gap and a hedge from a recession.  It is not meant as a cure all.  Eventually someone has to pay it back and unfortunately that is usually on the backs of the dying middle class.  Undecided
5087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: October 15, 2020, 11:53:46 PM
I seek fantasy advice on Le'Veon Bell and what should i do with him, keep or trade.
He was a waiver wire pick up for me, some dude released him by mistake and i was able to snatch him.
Now that he is cut by the Jets, whichever rumored team he signs with he won't be option 1, maybe except for Dolphins idk.
My current roster PPR: QB Allen, RB1 Conner, RB2 Gaskin, WR1 Lockett, WR2 McLaurin, TE Kittle (4-1 record lost to the goddamn Ravens defense last week lol)

I kinda want to get rid of Conner too, maybe put a package of the two for another RB1?

Best possibly outcome for a non starter, he landed on the chiefs.  He is a hold, good flex option on that offense and if Clyde ever goes down he will be a strong RB1.  i too have conner I think you will be fine and bell is a hedge as I don't trust Gaskin all that much on miami.  I'd hold bell for a couple weeks and see how Reed uses him, Reed is a great coach to have for ff rbs
5088  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] PS4, Portable Projector, Bose QC25 etc on: October 15, 2020, 07:38:36 PM
You had really good offers, but I am afraid I am a little bit late. Anyway, I have no crypto so I couldn't buy anything. By the way, guys, recently I bought a ultra short throw projector, and I am very pleased by the device I got. In case you need a projector, you can check the link above, maybe you will find something you need.

Why the bump just to say you don't have money to buy something when the last post was 3 years ago.  Undecided
5089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next trend for 2021? on: October 15, 2020, 06:36:12 PM
Hopefully its not another gimmick that fills 2021 up and detracts away from bitcoin and other solid projects.  The more "trends" the more scams.  I wish at a certain point this field moves past trends and just pushes forward with what we have.  Whatever it is I hope its not the ico crap again.

I agree with the term the more "trends" more scam. Trends in the cryptocurrency market change very quickly and if we are not alert and quickly read market movements, we can experience losses. I think investing in coins that are well established and also have a large market cap value is safe enough and can be profitable for the long term.

Exactly.  Everytime I hear something is the next biggest thing i steer clear as I've been down that road before.  Guess what it probably isn't, or even if it is, the best quote I can remember for this is " if you cant spot the fish at the table its you."  Meaning if you don't know what is going on, you are the "investor" people are looking to dump things on
5090  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people claim cryptocurrencies aren’t an asset? on: October 15, 2020, 02:11:20 PM
I have had this debate with may different people from different walks of life. In many parts of the world, cryptocurrencies are considered an asset and most of us might be well aware of this too. However, there are many reasons it is still not considered an asset, many( especially regulators ) believe it to be mainly due to the lack of legal rights. This can probably change completely in the future when serious regulated players like Banks get involved. Governments surely see value in it, but they are still skeptical. I think this will change over the due course of time once crypto starts gaining more mainstream traction.

Another interesting approach I came across is trying to introduce a layer by leveraging Blockchains like Concordium which claim to have regulatory compliance and Identity verification at a protocol level. Attempts like this sure might give more confidence among banks to start cryptocurrency custodianship/ interaction.

With the advent of such practices, cryptocurrency may start being viewed more seriously in the legal world and smart contracts can be legally enforced too. So cryptocurrencies can probably finally be seen as an asset even according to local laws of that particular country.

It isn't going to happen overnight, it sure will be a tough battle, but I see it as a sensible way forward. Is cryptocurrency legal in your country? What are your thoughts?

Yeah its definately legal and is definately an asset.  It is considered property in some countries.  I would choose to classify crypto as a financial instrument which would be considered an asset in all aspects of its current state.  Normally the people that don't claim its an asset is just uninformed as to what crypto really is and can offer.  I bet the same people that says its not an asset can not properly tell you what crypto even is, probably a high correlation.
5091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less Volatile Coins on: October 15, 2020, 02:06:29 PM
I am a newbie on this forum and I have read my posts that people complaining how they lost their fund as a result of investing on Volatile coin like BTC. Is it now advisable for newbie like me to invest on less Volatile coin like Tether or Gemini USD.

Every crypto will be volitile.  Stablecoins are risky because you can lose everything.  If you are afraid of volitility than crypto is just not for you at this point.  Risk reward are both very high.

Just made the under with the rays and astros at 4-3.  I'm going with the under again on this next game, riding the under Smiley

And I'd take the dodgers again, they destroyed the braves and can see them following that up with another powerful win

There will be plenty of teams ready to sign him since the Jets are on the hook to pay him.  I agree with you but he did swipe $28mil from the Jets for playing just 15 games  not too shabby  Cheesy

I think tonight's game will be a good one and so even though I have been backing the Bills in all their games so far this season, tonight I am going against them and placed a bet on the Titans at the ML for some value. Good luck to all bettors having a bet tonight.

Congrats! That's another big bet you won. I watched a bit of it and it was interesting to see yet another upset. Didn't realize the Titans were undefeated all this time, and are now where the Bills were going into it at 4 and 0.

For next week Chiefs vs. Bills on Monday is going to be the most interesting game. Packers / Buccaneers on Sun will also be worth watching.
Kansas City Chiefs vs Buffalo Bills in terms of the performance of each club I think the chiefs have very good potential to win this match, I see from some predictions that it is also more towards the Chiefs so I'm sure Patrick Mahomes will lead and provide full support for the victory for the club.

I can definately see a Kansas city win here.  No way they want to drop 2 games here.  I think titans exposed some of the bills weaknesses.  Either way I'm expecting a high scoring game so maybe just hit the over on this one.
5096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MLB - Major League Baseball- Betting Thread on: October 14, 2020, 11:06:32 PM
Nice hit.  The game is at 7-3 right now the over was a solid bet.  Still riding the under on the American league championship series.  Its 1-0 after 2 innings hoping for a couple innings of goose eggs.  Probably should have just rode your bet and I wouldn't have to sweat this one out   Cheesy

Yeah despite Kershaw not pitching I still liked the over for this game and went with it.  Helped offset some of my NFL losses this week lol.

Amazing to see how well the Rays and Braves are doing.  I can't stand the Dodgers almost as much as I can't stand the Astros so it is great seeing them go down 0-2 as well. Not sure if I'm going to be these two games today however.  Anyone have any feelings on todays games?

Just sticking with my under theory.  If I had to place bets I'd place an under on the rays game and then I'd bet the dodgers straight up.  This is essentially a do or die game for them and they have the talent to will a win here.  Those would be the way id bet the games
5097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is DeFi over? then old coins revolution ? on: October 14, 2020, 04:51:12 PM
We will not see that again. The era for those old altcoins are over. Just look at how polkadot was taking over the old coins. Im thinking about we will see another huge waves for the legit icos again. The defi trend is not over yet.
People are focusing to invest in the legit defi that has already backed by the big VC and companies.

There is a chance for defi trend to be a popular trend again but i guess the only legit defi that can attract people to get in.

A wave of "legit" icos  Roll Eyes.  The world would be better off without icos.  The only reason for an ico is to line someone's pocket with peoples bitcoin.  More scams have come from paid icos than probably any other crypto event.
5098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Virtacoin( VTA ) on: October 14, 2020, 04:21:36 PM

Hello friends,

After updating the official virtacoin site(https://www.virtacoin.online), four virtacoin affiliate sites will be released soon:

1. www.virtacoin.world

2. www.virtacoin.com

3. www.virtachain.com

4. virtacoinexplorer.org

Friends, now the price of virtacoin is 1 Satoshi, which has the lowest possible price,

The price of virtacoin will be higher in the next one or two months,

So, friends, I recommend that now is the time to buy virtacoin,

You can buy virtacoin from the following exchanger sites:

https://www.btcsquare.net/ref/2062c357

https://www.safecrex.trade/signup?refid=ID39E101AFFF

Actually it can go much lower if it gets dropped from bitcoin pairing and is only paired in coins lile doge.  There are plenty of coins that have gone this route.  I dont kmow much about this coin but chances are likely that this is exactly what will happen for this coin until every exchange eventually drops it and it goes to the alt graveyard with rest of these types of coins.
5099  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin start Backing USA dollar on: October 14, 2020, 04:07:31 PM
The USA dollar need good backer.

The Bitcoin is perfect to backing Up USA dollar.
That Can Work like real fractional reserve.
I think 2021 year the dollar Will be backed by BTC

This is not even a consideration.  IF the US wanted to be backed by something they would go back to the gd standard which they wont do either.  Right now governments are looking to distance themselves from crypto, not use it as a backing to their own soveign currency

jets officially released leveon bell tonight.  There is probably no one happier in the whole league right now than him.  In one of my fantasy leagues I have him on my bench.  Hoping he goes to a team with a good line...he could end up being a backend RB1 or a solid RB2.

He is such a cry baby, I dont think anybody needs him on their team. Too much negative vibes with him.
Cries to leave PIT because of money and then sucked on the Jets. Yes the Jets suck but Gore did better than him and Gore is 37.
I hope his whiny ass stays unsigned.

There will be plenty of teams ready to sign him since the Jets are on the hook to pay him.  I agree with you but he did swipe $28mil from the Jets for playing just 15 games  not too shabby  Cheesy
