5081  Other / Meta / Re: CrowFunding - Forum rules ? on: February 19, 2015, 06:58:20 PM
"No hiring" I'am getting confused to be honest . So I can get explain my project on that section also getting crowfunding but to hire the developer who is going to do that job shouldn't be in that section ? Services then I guess ?

~ Madness

Yes for both. Telling someone to do something will be in Services.

As mentioned before, It should go into:
Bitcoin Forum > Bitcoin > Project Development

You can look at this project as reference:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=521473.msg5773295#msg5773295

For me, it is not really a crowdfunding.

5082  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: February 19, 2015, 06:25:35 PM
300 people is really a lot, and I doubt that there will be new spots

Yup, it is and it is more than 300, I guess but some have gone to Bit-X.

Current stats:
  • Number of registered users: 365
  • Last 7 days total payouts: 2.47512917 BTC
The campaign doesn't bring too much customers. I hope it works to brand awareness.

So it is allowed by the forum rules and there is nothing wrong with it ? I don't want to open a thread then get red flagged or warning from Administrations or anynthing simillar to be honest .

~ Madness

AFAIK it is allowed. I have seen people creating threads about crowdfunding.

=snip=

Project Development - Organization of Bitcoin and related projects (sites, software not yet developed/in development), bounty campaigns, advertising etc. No hiring here although "looking for partners" threads should be here.

5085  Other / Meta / Re: Who is this hero member with 1.4 billion posts? on: February 19, 2015, 06:16:22 PM
Probably a Visual bug , because there is no such account on the forums . Those are the top ten posters on the forums and none of them have more then 21k posts as you can see :

AFAIK Project Development. Alternatively, you can use Bitcoin as well as fiat crowdfunding and put the links in the thread you create with details about the project.

Yeah sure, try to say this to scammers lmfao
where is your logic?  Huh

If you are telling it is wrong, then we can't put trust feedback on trustworthy/untrustworthy(scammer) users. It is simple logic.

You don't want to worry about that feedback, it will never affect your trust rating. For eg:- Look Vod's. Smiley

5088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMR][HOW TO] Install & use Monero on Linux on: February 19, 2015, 06:01:25 PM
Ok there's your problem - per the dependencies: "Dependencies: GCC 4.7.3 or later"

Thanks for pointing it out!

If you're on an older version of Ubuntu you may find it best to add the Toolchain Test Builds PPA: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-toolchain-r/+archive/ubuntu/test and then install a more recent version of gcc. Once installed you will need to link the newer gcc/g++ version to default (ie. something similar to http://askubuntu.com/questions/26498/choose-gcc-and-g-version)

Everything done but still giving errors.

Code:
cc1plus: error: -Werror=maybe-uninitialized: no option -Wmaybe-uninitialized
cc1plus: error: unrecognized command line option '-std=c++11'
make[3]: *** [src/crypto/CMakeFiles/crypto.dir/crypto.cpp.o] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/root/bitmonero/build/release'
make[2]: *** [src/crypto/CMakeFiles/crypto.dir/all] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/bitmonero/build/release'
make[1]: *** [all] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/bitmonero/build/release'
make: *** [release-all] Error 2

It's probably easier for you to install Ubuntu 13.10 or 14.04 on your VPS instead. Ubuntu 14.04 is recommended, as it has current versions of gcc and boost.

It's not mine, I am helping a person but I will tell him though I am not sure whether he will because some daemons already installed in it and the sync is complete(BTC, LTC, Doge etc...).

Seems good but can it sign raw TX?

5090  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: android wallet on: February 19, 2015, 04:42:09 PM
android wallet are light weight clients and don't download the whole block chain
if the download the complete blockchain then you will need to download 30GB blockchain data on your smartphone
and what about running wallet with that much data? i can't imagine

what i want is the source code for an entirely different purpose
Then please explain your purpose, so that we can point you in the right direction. I don't believe anyone has made a full-chain android wallet for Bitcoin, even older ones wouldn't exist for the simple reason that older Android phones also had much less storage capability so very few were even capable of holding the full-chain if it were possible.

Do you want to do some kind of RPC testing or for real use? Huh

We don't use Qt, there's no Monero GUI in Monero core yet. What operating system are you building on? And what compiler version do you get if you run gcc --version or g++ --version?

I used new source. OS : Ubuntu and I am installing on VPS. I will tell about the version soon, I am trying again now and the shell script is running.

Edit: Version of gcc/g++ is 4.6.3 .

Ask for help in IRC #monero

This is quite an old guide.

Thanks!

Yeah, I know! I compiled with latest source code.

   -MZ

I think the latest source needs a few more dependencies. I am saying just in case...

"Dependencies: GCC 4.7.3 or later, CMake 2.8.6 or later, libunbound 1.4.16 or later (note: Unbound is not a dependency, libunbound is), libevent 2.0 or later, libgtest 1.5 or later, and Boost 1.53 or later (except 1.54, more details here). "

AFAIK all installed.

P.S. It is problem of Qt. Do you know how to install bitmonerod only?

Term length: 3 Days
Interest:  125% repayment of 0.00125
Address: 1JfNTWLRsh7JxeYSFaC5R9WF669CTRPjQA
Reason: to collect more negative feedbacks

You probably won't get anymore negative trusts.

@marcotheminer : Can you create a self-moderated thread please?

You can choose who to report the PM to by using the dropdown box. Admins can see PMs but they will not specifically do it unless you request it.

I have said that but I think it wasn't understandable easily. Thanks for telling! This might avoid future spams about the post.

If the PM was come to you, you can report that PM, so 'the person you report to' or all Global Moderators and Admins can see the PM. Admins can see them without reporting too.

5098  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info the only wallet with mixer interface? on: February 19, 2015, 02:53:49 PM
Earlier, it was broken and as a result, it wasn't anonymous. Did they fix it?

yes, tried it myself , the transaction was sent from another node, so relax, but i wonder why would anyone use mixing services if it is use for a good purposes anyway

You can be in danger for breaking laws without even knowing, so mixing would help you but not fully.

5099  Other / Meta / Re: My trust, abused by scammers. on: February 19, 2015, 11:54:20 AM
Trust feedback aren't moderated. Just ask the person who left feedback in your profile and also, you don't want to deal with a person to get a trust feedback, the user can put a trust feedback for other deals you done with another person etc...

5100  Other / Meta / Re: My trust :( im not alt Candystripes accounts! on: February 19, 2015, 11:37:20 AM
Sorry, I just want to ask.
How to verify it's fake or real PM ?

Hey Buddy, it's me, Candy !

I just edit the author and UID the sender, Quickseller never send a single message to me.

If the PM was come to you, you can report that PM, so 'the person you report to' or all Global Moderators and Admins can see the PM. Admins can see them without reporting too.

If it is in other's inbox, you will have to ask an Admin to verify or tell that person to report the PM to a Global Moderator or Admin(person who is online currently) and tell him/her to tell whether the verification was positive or not to you or in that specific thread.
