I suggest that we go there and help ignite the economy by printing large amounts of TEM, then allowing larger initial deficit spending, perhaps up to 100,000 TEM. Then we could hedge any random borrower's failure to repay their debts by bundling multiple TEM loans (credit) into some type of financial instrument that could then be split into smaller chunks of defined risk (default) then provide liquidity by setting up trade (swaps) on some type of exchange.
I sense an opportunity to make some serious TEM in the process. Who's with me?

anxiety maybe? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Naw, my plan was/is to wait till a few days before the next fomc and see where its at. If I'm down over 25% before the Fed meets next week, I'll double down, if not, I'll just stand pat. This rise in gold is most likley in anticpation of the FOMC next week, everyone is getting ready for Big Ben to pull that trigger. What happens when they don't pull the trigger because the markets have been rising lately?

Instead of whining here, ask your favorite BTC pools to dedicate some mining power to keep this loser BCX at bay. And if you know anyone in large data centers, ask them to check for unusual activity. Lets find this shit bird and and take him down for good. Idiots like BCX belong behind the bars with other idiots. Enjoy your rectal exams, BCX.
BTC mining is fundamentally different from LTC mining.

Everyone is overreacting... the price has not sustained a price outside 8-9.2 yet.
That's the point, I am overreacting with others in hopes the price does fall ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) This is known as shaking out the weak hands.

DEFLATION is EVERYWHERE.
Im sure I have asked this before, and you probably answered me then, but what is the end game of this DEFLATION? The way I see it the US is enjoying a bit of deflation right now, but that enjoyment will quickly dissipate and turn to fear... and the presses get turned back on. We cant have deflation forever, can we? No, but it can last a long time.

The question needs to be asked....Could you take the principles used at wikispeed and apply them to aircraft manufacturing ?
Im thinking here of a wikispeed personal aircraft...
What principles are used at Wikispeed that would help manufacture aircraft better than what we're doing now? The hardest part of designing an aircraft isn't designing it, 90% of it is passing all the damn tests to get it certified and getting certification on every damn little thing you want to do. Sadly, a major part of what makes an airplane design "great" is how long it's been flown without any problems, as safety is on more people's minds than features. Here's where you start: http://www.faa.gov/licenses_certificates/aircraft_certification/airworthiness_certification/Sure, it would take capital to do the paperwork, but you can crowdsource the tests to people who are building prototypes along with you. You each specialize in one area and send parts around. That's how.

This is great. I really like the fact that it's modular and you can swap pieces around. They should make computers like this. I'm thinking about the Retina MacBook.
They don't make computers that you can swap pieces? Apple doesn't ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) .

In a bear market Pirate's strategy makes a lot of sense. It just does not work very well in a bull market.
And why do you assume this is Pirate's strategy. Do you really think he's that stupid? I've discussed his risk profile with him and he's not as dumb as you assume. Again, I'll ask: Where is one scrap of evidence that your claims have anything to do with reality? We already know his strategy works very well in a bear market. The proof in that he has not missed a payment. Let us see how he does in a bull market particularly one where the BTC / USD price rises sharply. Way to ignore the question. We will see, but in the mean time can you quit with the strong assertions without a shred of evidence to back them up? If you want to say "I think that...", fine, but going around acting like you know Pirate's every move/position makes you look like an idiot. The evidence is there in plain view including in Pirate's own posts and comments to anyone willing to spend the time and effort to do their own research using publicly available information. I must say all I have seen for the most part is either it is a very profitable propriety business method that cannot be disclosed in order to maintain its profitability (supporters) or it is some kind of illegal ponzi or money laundering scheme (detractors). I am quite prepared to let time and the markets judge who is and who is not an idiot on both sides of this matter. Cool. So you'll stop trying to decide for the market?
