Manchester City - Real Madrid is going to be the toughest matchup in the semi finals I think. It is not much different than a final game in the Champions League. Honestly, Real Madrid have impressed me much more so far. As long as they have Benzema, they are always going to be one of the biggest contenders for the title. Manchester City defenders will have a big responsibility to defend him. And he is not only carrying the team by himself of course. I really like their game as a team.

There are Fenerbahce - Goztepe and Konyaspor - Gaziantep games on this week. And both of these games are going to be important for the rivalry to have the second spot in the standings. Fenerbahce have a good advantage now and it looks like they can maintain this by this week too. I don't think that Fenerbahce would lose any points against Goztepe. And I expect the same for Konyaspor too.

La Liga'da sadece birkaç gün içerisinde güzel bir maça şahit olacağız. Sevilla sahasında lig lideri olan Real Madrid'i ağırlayacak. Ben bu maçın çok dişli geçmesini bekliyorum ve Real Madrid'in puan kaybetmesi de kuvvetle muhtemel. Aralarındaki ligde oynanan en son maçı sizlere hatırlatmak isterim. Real Madrid 1-0 geriye düştüğü maçı zar zor çevirerek 2-1 kazanmıştı kendi sahasında. Bence buradaki maçta olası bir beraberlik şaşırtıcı olmaz. Zaten Real Madrid'in kafası rahat olduğu için en az bir puan onlar için de yeterli olur bence.

Galatasaray'da aslında yetenekli çok güzel yerli oyuncular var. Kerem Aktürkoğlu olsun, Berkan Kutlu olsun. Bu gibi oyuncuları ellerinde tutmayı başarıp kadroyu biraz daha elden geçirirlerse bu yaz, işte o zaman bir sonraki sezonda güzel işler yapabilirler. Tabi önemli olan bir tek kadrodaki eksikleri kapatmak değil. Eski takım ruhunu da geri kazanması lazım takımın. Aslında Avrupa Ligi'nde süperlerdi ona sözüm yok ama Süper Lig'deki kötü sezonu da telafi etseler kendileri için iyi olur.

I still believe in Barcelona to eliminate their opponent, Frankfurt from the Europa League. But I believe that it is going to be really difficult to do so at the same time. Because we all watched Frankfurt play in the first leg of the matchup. They were really amazing and they would have even won that game too. If they continue to play like that and don't get a red card this time, Barcelona might be in a big trouble. And they might be able to eliminate Frankfurt in the extra time or even by penalty shoot-outs.

Oh, I didn't even see that they were going to play against each other in only two days. Real Sociedad have an important advantage as they are playing a home game. And bookmakers are also giving a 2.10 winning odd for Real Sociedad while giving 3.40 to Betis. In their latest league game, Betis demolished Real Sociedad by 4-0. It might be time for a revenge for Real Sociedad maybe but I don't know. I will be expecting a very fierce game above all else. It is likely for us to see draw at the end too.

There was no surprise today indeed. Manchester City secured their advantage until the final whistle was blown. But I would have expected to see a different score than 0-0 in fact. It made the game really boring so I didn't watch it fully. Because Liverpool - Benfica game was way better than that. Liverpool ran away and Benfica continued to chase them down. And at the end of the game, there was a 3-3 draw. This result carried Liverpool to the semi finals of course but I really appreciate Benfica's high effort also.

It is true that Inter still have a missing game waiting to be played. Let's say that the current gap is maintained until then. In that case, Inter would still be able to leave Milan behind in the standings by only one point and capture the lead. For this reason, it is very important for Milan to open the gap more until that game is played by Inter. This is Milan's biggest chance to be the champions. And it would be a big disappointment if they just hand it over to Inter or another team.

What a day we had in the Champions League! Villarreal managed to make it to the semi finals by resisting Bayern Munich very nicely and drawing with them by 1-1. Bayern Munich led the game by 1-0 for a long time but the equalizer in the 88th minute was a devastating one for them. Emery did a spectacular job here. But I think that the game of the night was Real Madrid - Chelsea. Chelsea got even 3-0 ahead but Real Madrid were able to handle this big surprise. They both deserved to advance after the extra time but Real Madrid made it by 2-3. Benzema scored the most important goal.

Dortmund would most likely secure their current position in the standings until the end of the season. But this is still not going to be a successful season for them. Because they lost points in so many simple games that it caused them to get away from the Bundesliga title more in time. This inconsistency is holding them back a lot and they must find a solution for this. Otherwise, they should forget about a title in the league.

Arsenal are in a big trouble after having a two-game losing streak in the league. Tottenham are already three points ahead of them now and keeping the fourth spot. There is still quite enough time for Arsenal to make up for this now. But they need to start winning immediately to prevent things from getting worse for them. There is a Southampton - Arsenal game up next and I think Arsenal would win that.

Most people must be curious about if Villarreal can eliminate Bayern Munich surprisingly. Actually if we consider their effort in the first game, we can't think like Villarreal are too weak against Bayern Munich. It is even nearly the opposite for them now. Villarreal seemed to be a much more solid team than Bayern Munich in the first game. They were solid in not only defense but only offense. If they manage to counter Bayern Munich in the second game as well, then they would have a big chance to move Bayern Munich out of the tournament.

Manchester United might not even be able to end the season in top six also. Because their recent performance has still been unsatisfying and they have a tough fixture ahead too. Their next game is a very difficult one. Because it is going to be an away game against Liverpool. Because Liverpool are competing hard for the league title with Manchester City now, I'm not waiting for them to lose to or draw with Manchester United in this game. Therefore, West Ham can make the gap with Manchester United three points in case they beat Burnley.

Valencia are still unbeaten for six weeks in the La Liga. Today they were close to defeating Rayo Vallecano actually but it ended in a 1-1 draw. Rayo Vallecano's streak is much worse now. They haven't been winning any game for twelve weeks in the league. This must be really alarming for them now. There are still many weeks left for the end of the season. And they are still under the risk of relegating from the league now as the gap with the relegation are is six points currently. They must find a way out quickly.

Atalanta - Leipzig can be the toughest game this week. Atalanta were the better side in the first leg of this draw but they still had no choice other than making do with a 1-1 draw. Leipzig hardly managed to secure a draw for themselves. But this performance wouldn't help them in the second leg I believe. Atalanta are going to play in their home stadium this time and I expect them to be in control more than the previous game. Leipzig will have to do much more otherwise Atalanta would advance.

Leipzig are still doing a superb work in the league. They defeated one of their toughest opponents like it was nothing. They had a 3-0 score advantage in the first half and this was enough for them to defeat their opponent by the same score. Leipzig seem to be like the second best team in the Bundesliga currently. They have been consistent for some weeks. But we will see if they will keep it up until the end.

It is really interesting to hear that Real Madrid are after Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe at the same time now. Because I don't think that the financial rules of the league will let them sign them both. Because they will need to pour a lot of money for their demands. But maybe they are seeing Haaland as the alternative to Mbappe now. There is no guarantee for Mbappe to join them yet. But if they sign even one of them, it would strengthen them incredibly much.

It was a horrible day for Nice. They had an away game against Lens. It was going to be really difficult maybe but I thought that they would still fight hard. But even though Lens got an early red card, they still got ahead by 2-0. And the game ended by 3-0 too. We saw three cards in this game and two of them belonged to Nice. This loss made things bad for Nice. Strasbourg were almost winning but missed it by a close call. However they are still one point ahead of Nice.
