5081  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: May 24, 2022, 06:29:03 AM

5082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What approach do you expect from the Government if your Country adopt bitcoin? on: May 23, 2022, 11:54:28 PM
It should start a mania in our country if that happens to be declared as a legal tender. The hype is for real if it's happening in our country just like what has happened with the Axie craze. So, just like what other thinks about bitcoin, it would probably be the same taboo that it's a quick rich investment asset that everyone would be in. But it's better to educate the underlying technology and economics that it has. Well, so far our country has became open to digital transactions and assets and it's about to be regulated since a lot of attention has been made for the past years.
5083  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: May 23, 2022, 11:02:41 PM
The world has become a difficult place to live now. While everywhere the people, organization and institutions are preaching peace. The practice is otherwise. We wish to see the bright and sunny days where there is no bloodshed. But I wish of something which is impossible.
All of us want to see the light and peace as soon as possible. But it should be within those affected people and in the middle of the war, the war should stop asap.
Because it's the damage that it's done not just on the entire land but also to the mental health and minds of those people is going to live there forever. That's traumatizing and you know when someone's on that state of mind, it's one of the hardest thing to deal with and it will take time to heal and recover.
5084  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for poor people who wanna get some crypto on: May 23, 2022, 10:21:06 PM
There is no free money anywhere and whatever money you see from the crypto currency is a result of your investment, so nothing goes for nothing.

It is either you invest your money to make more money or invest your time data and intellectual properties to get paid in cryptocurrency.

There is no free Bitcoin airdrop anywhere that ended long ago maybe around 2010 since Bitcoin is worth more now it is becoming hard to own it just like that.
There are still the faucets but you really are going to get a very little amount and it's less than a centavo. That's what is free with less effort but if someone wants to earn cryptocurrencies. You said it right that there's an exchange for it like your service, investment and money.
There is still a disbelief about earning cryptocurrency and those that don't have it think that it's an easy and free money to get.
Faucet looks not legit yet right now because higher price of bitcoin and altcoin, but if still bitcoin still lower price we can get higher amount of faucet and keep holding for long term to sell on higher price. I have move from faucet to airdrop and right now many kinds of test net airdrop as my daily day activities. Every day launching new test net airdrop and still worth for getting payment although not all faucet is worth and keep give payment distribution on mainnet.
It doesn't have to look legit because it's actually legit. You probably don't get the idea of faucets because it's actually free bitcoin but you get only around 100 sats and that's likely the highest that you can get, I don't know now maybe even lower.
It is just good for the introduction of bitcoin to anyone you know that might be interested but it's not actually a good source that you can rely on. Maybe make your own faucet and have a lot of visitors and earn from ads and that's how you can monetize and earn from having your own faucet and not a claimer.
5085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 23, 2022, 09:39:06 PM
One thing with uncontrolled gambling quest is that it won't stop giving hopes of recovering losses until the last dime is lost. This is not just about gambling an amount you can afford to lose but more on self control to know when to stop. The debt has to paid which ever way.
That will be the matter at most times for all of us gamblers, we think of recovery every time we're losing and that's going to give us a result that is hard to accept.
Self control is going with the action that we have in every situation that we face and sometimes those suggestions are hard to follow because we're reacting normally as we face those situations that we don't like.
When in a situation that is not liked, gamblers must be able to control themselves, cases that often occur gamblers will lose more if they continue to be forced to play. For some gamblers it is difficult to leave the gambling place when they are losing, because emotions are difficult to control. Gamblers who play casually are calmer than gamblers who cannot control their emotions, they will stop when they are losing, and set a target or stop loss when they are in winning situation.
It is they that are forcing themselves to play even though they know that there's no direction that will be met as of the moment because they're on the verge of losing more and losing their control.
So two things that are hard to control when they're looking at themselves continue to gamble even if they understand the results could get worse if they don't stop as soon as possible. And that's where the hard-earned money you have will be easily gone because of your poor decision.
5086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 23, 2022, 08:47:56 PM
This is an old game and mostly related to domestic stuff. The animal they groom is their whole asset. And they take care of them more their own health - because the cock is the one which brings food to the table. However bans are not going to have much effect on the game.
There is livelihood really on this, I have a cousin who once became a breeder and not betting into cockfighting but knows how to groom well and put into condition the rooster that he's about to sell.
It's actually a lucrative business even until now because there go the physical arenas where people are really going just to bet. And in relation of the ban for online cockfighting, there were kidnappings that has happened because they're cheating and putting on the arena with a total weak condition cock.
5087  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy Trading - experience and tipps on: May 23, 2022, 09:22:00 AM
People who made money from copy trading are the only people who are appears in the advertisements and sponsored influencers, but in real life they got profits but not the success in real life. We should never expect the success in our life comes from the effects of someone else, the rich people can take high risky moves and their one trade maybe good enough to bring few millions to them but this is not applies for an average trader who trades with hundreds.
That's true, they can make money following them but still, the definition of success lies in the huge difference between yourself and the people that you copy trade.
It's not all of the time you'll be too reliant on them and then you'll just chill around. If that's what someone wants to do, he should have remained as a holder and that's way better than copy trading.
5088  Economy / Economics / Re: What can an average JOE do to face the global food crisis? on: May 23, 2022, 07:09:26 AM
What can the average middle-class person do to protect themselves from food problems?
Will buying more food and storing it solve the problem, or trying to start farming or investing and trying to increase his money to buy food at any price? Or what?
All of this, once an announcement is sudden and the government tells the media that there's a food shortage in your local area, there's a panic buying and prices of food and goods will also increase due to the demand. At that time, cash is king, and make sure that you have enough budget for it that's really to be spent for the food and survival. And, what I did years ago, I've bought around a thousand square feet of lot just for any plan that I might do. My parents planted some herbs and vegetables there and we're just picking them up at any time we want to eat.
5089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what age did you start learning about bitcoin? on: May 22, 2022, 11:29:45 PM
3. With your current knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, do wish you started at an earlier age?
Technically, we all want to be that early since we've first learned about bitcoin. We have thought of how about getting too early on it and buying hundreds and thousands of them.
Then, right now, we're all that rich and don't have to work from 9-5 jobs and we're free to do anything that we want since we're early investors. Those who have bought a lot and sold at the top are living their lives now at the best and can do anything that they want and invest somewhere again if they want to.

5091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 22, 2022, 09:48:03 PM
It's true, there are too many games that everyone can play, and not just with this online cockfight. But you know our culture, there has been a tradition and people got used to this gambling game. It doesn't matter if there are animals part of it and lives are being exchanged for it.
But it's the norm that has been formed for centuries and that's hard to remove, now, a ban has been said but this won't stop the culture and tradition. There will still be ways that these gamblers will look to bet in online cockfights especially if they're addicted to it.

No one can stop those addicted gamblers, even the ban already implemented. If there's still someone who will continue to the offer a same kind of gambling behind the government's back, those people will continue to play and lose their money. Sabong is a part of our tradition and with how the internet access more people easily, they penetrate deeper and now the government need to act to avoid more addicted and ruined families to suffer from losing more money.
And when the restrictions and borders are loosened, much worse is the arena cockpit could be back. Yeah, just like the physical casinos, they're likely to be back.
As the mandate says, the online cockfighting is banned because there are too many lives that are destroyed but with the actual arena fight, they're not banning it and they both the same in paying taxes and the same effect for those addicted gamblers.

5093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where does the price of bitcoin come from? on: May 22, 2022, 08:03:16 PM
Bitcoin is a speculative asset and that's why anyone can give the price the way they look at it. True, no one controls the price and that's why if someone says that it's going to be at that price then that's his opinion and there's a probable analysis as to why it's going to be at that price by now.
Everything on the market relies on the supply and demand and that plays a big part to the motion of prices.
5094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying the dip? on: May 22, 2022, 10:28:23 AM
I think now is the best time to buy altcoins, if a few days ago the market looked dip but a few days now it looks up, but not too high so now is the best position to buy, I'm optimistic we will soon get out of the bear market.
It won't be staying on the bottom forever and the same as staying at the top. As you can see, there's a recovery that's happening and this should be seen by those people that are still in doubt about buying.
We can't force them to buy if they're in doubt but we know that this time shall be refreshing again after the dips and big corrections. While waiting for the actual and big recovery from this correction, you take your time whether to add and pile more with the alts you hold or bitcoin.
5095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 21, 2022, 09:40:23 PM
I dont believe that there's lacking about games offered online on why they are really into cockfight betting but rather they do really just looking it for it to be interesting
because if we do speak of the current online games into casinos and the easy access then i dont see for it to be that lacking.
So its not surprising that government would really be taking some action.
It's true, there are too many games that everyone can play, and not just with this online cockfight. But you know our culture, there has been a tradition and people got used to this gambling game. It doesn't matter if there are animals part of it and lives are being exchanged for it.

5096  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the best investment for the next halving? on: May 21, 2022, 08:36:18 PM
I agree, among all tokens and coins If I will be asked what will be the best investment for the next halving? it could be bitcoin or eth. Spending your money to top 1 and top 2 coin in the world will not be useless even though they may encounter some dip in the few days still there will be a greater chance that it will be bounce back again, everytime I will have some extra I always converted it to bitcoin.
Bitcoin, no doubt.
And then ETH and the other altcoins will come to follow bitcoin's halving effect and that is to increase in price and value. Having the right time to buy during the dip is the perfect time and opportunity. That's where people have the problem of not being satisfied because they think that it's not a good time to buy when the market is dipping.
5097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your epic fail experience in gambling on: May 21, 2022, 07:40:23 PM
It surely happened for many gamblers that they've won a lot and then still didn't secured the money that they've won. So what happens is that the casino where they're playing was able to take it back.
In the long run, it's always the casino that wins and if you're not careful with your decisions and your profit is with you already, you're likely to lose them all and you'll be adding another epic experience for your failure.
Greediness caused it. If someone play and win and continue to play and later lose, losing will begin until the person lose all the money, or the person should better stop gambling bat the time. This is common in gambling, it starts when the person develops a kind of mindset that begins from a single loss that make the person to continue losing. That is why it is good for gambler to just gamble on just one or two games in a week and not become affected by poor mindset, or if the person has lost once while betting, the person should not bet that day again, even not to bet that week again will be good. I have falled victim of this several times and such can be avoided with just not betting at that particular time.
IMO, it's okay to gamble the whole week as long as it's inside the budget that's within your bankroll and it doesn't affect your mental health. The problem with other gamblers, greed is normal and we want to have more winnings and we know what outcome is going to happen instead of it.
Nevertheless, we still continue despite that knowledge because it's already built up that we want to gamble no matter what happens and we'll recover those losses which is what we think.
5098  Economy / Speculation / Re: $28,000 Bitcoin price. How explain falling price to worried newbies ? on: May 21, 2022, 10:29:44 AM
Tell your friend, wherever he's effective to trade, he should just stay there. But it's okay to remain with his curiosity about the crypto market because that shall give him the idea of how volatile it is just like forex.
Honestly, when someone asks you about how sure they are with their money and if it's going to profit as they invest in bitcoin. You tell them that in every investment there's a risk. Because if you guarantee them that they'll earn, you'll be the one that will be chased by them if a total bear comes in.
5099  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isa kaba sa my mga bitcoin or any crypto noon? on: May 21, 2022, 08:01:29 AM
5100  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Sa tingin niyo ano mas maganda? on: May 21, 2022, 06:14:53 AM
Both has their own risk.
