You're right, but the thing to remember is that crypto can also make you even more depressed when you use the money you're still using. however, it's not wrong to make the statement that crypto can make people rich in no time, but it does if you're really lucky. for a newbie, it is very rare, or even very difficult. the risk is still great.
The problem with this is, when you want to get into the crypto world, you need to understand the risks. Many people invest without understanding the risks and as a result they make the economy more difficult. You may be able to make big profits from crypto, but I believe that it takes time to get rich. keep learning and researching.

Even before 2017 faucets are not giving enough anymore. Faucet owners also realized they were losing more money instead of earning because the value of BTC is a lot higher. They may even be regretting already for creating those faucets.

From the way it sounds, it seems to me like that “poor guy” wants to take some crypto for “free” and that’s where the problem lies. Basically, people are supposed to be made to understand that crypto is not for everyone, it’s not a do or die affair, I know of some people who aren’t into Cryptocurrency yet, they are doing extremely well.

Bitcoin is kind of like an investment with some amount of money that you may likely not be needing for a period of time. And if you are referring to a poor person, I don’t think there’s any money they wouldn’t be needing at that time, hence there’s none to spare into the crypto space. I rather advise the poor guy to go into BTCs mining, he could make some bucks from there before venturing into BTC itself.

These days, it is hard to rely on others even if it is your friend or colleague. Most of the time, it is your immediate family that will help you out if you badly need help. I hope with all the pieces of advise that are being posted in this thread, somehow, the OP will get an idea on how to get some of these alts or satoshis. Also, with all these countless bounties offered here in the forum, if you are patient enough, you will find worthwhile bounty programs that may give you good payout.

if we have some skill, we can offer it and get paid with Bitcoin or valuable altcoins. So a poor guy could still make money from here but of big challenge for them. Of course, it needs the patience to work it out and find clients that appreciate their work.

Faucet looks not legit yet right now because higher price of bitcoin and altcoin, but if still bitcoin still lower price we can get higher amount of faucet and keep holding for long term to sell on higher price. Exactly I think as a newbie in the cryptocurrency market one needs to build knowledge first before investing so that you will not invest in the wrong coins even if a newbie wants to buy Bitcoin but bought at the wrong price it can amount to the wrong investment.

It doesn't have to look legit because it's actually legit. You probably don't get the idea of faucets because it's actually free bitcoin but you get only around 100 sats and that's likely the highest that you can get, I don't know now maybe even lower.
It is just good for the introduction of bitcoin to anyone you know that might be interested but it's not actually a good source that you can rely on. Maybe make your own faucet and have a lot of visitors and earn from ads and that's how you can monetize and earn from having your own faucet and not a claimer.

First of all try changing your mindset as to crypto being a get rich quick scheme else you'd yield nothing from it. You work for it, you have to put in something to get profit. Take your mind off free crypto and invest instead. At least try getting basic knowledge about it before investing. Getting ourselves into a situation where we do talk about financial freedom then this is something requires that being wise nor mindful in regarding with your investment and this isnt something that anyone could really able to have a good grasps on depending on the situation or status you are into.Yes, you do really love to have that freedom but you dont have the money or finances for you to move forward which do really
