5081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- now at: 21/22 Qualifying Prelims on: July 28, 2021, 12:15:36 PM
Rapid Vienna will have a goal advantage when they play against Sparta Prague today in the 2nd leg, I think if Rapid Vienna are going to adopt a defensive strategy when they play against Sparta Prague today, they might be able to force a draw at the final whistle and progress to the next qualifying round.
I think football has changed over the years, and afaik teams avoid this play style of depending what you have especially if it's only a goal difference.
If Rapid Vienna wants to defend then they better attack as it's the only way to defend and secure a place in the next stage.

But I would be worry of Sparta Prague has they are a good team when they want to and they should give Rapid Vienna a run for their money.

Is the away goal rule scrapped off in these games...
5082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon Bitcoin Poll on: July 27, 2021, 02:38:41 PM
If yes, expand a bit. Do you think they're going to convert some cash into BTC, or will they just accumulate by accepting btc as payment?
It's a yes!

Buying crypto I don't think Amazon would go that route of investment  but accepting bitcoin payments this should be part of their plans to grow their business environment as crypto is a fast growing economy which would help it grow in the long term and give it a leap over other e-commerce businesses in terms of profits and customers.

If no, why not? Tesla, SpaceX, Twitter, Square, Paypal, Visa, etc are all adopting, does the largest ecommerce platform not have anything to gain here? I think they're more likely to have BTC than go out of their way to build their own crypto like facebook.
Their competitors are adopting cryptocurrencies, and it will be unwise not to integrate this technology into its e-commerce platform as it would mean loss of business in the future, to avoid this crypto payments should be introduced.

They explained that Dybala was suffering from irregular participation during the last season, but the contract with Italian coach Massimiliano Allegri could make the Argentine striker play an important role with Juve next season.
This doesn't sound good from the look of things, seems player wants play time which he isn't getting from Juventus could Dybala be leaving Italy as a free agent should the negotiations not go well??

According to today's news, it looks like Lukaku doesn't intend to leave Inter this summer as he is quite happy at Inter now. As we know, Chelsea have been interested in him. They have been thinking of making an offer for him if they don't succeed in signing Erling Haaland.
It was always going to be the case because Lukaku looks more happy at Inter than he was at United and you want to deny him that, I don't think so. Another season,  another challenge for tje Belgian.
5085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 27, 2021, 09:18:06 AM
In perhaps the biggest upset of today, Kliment Kolesnikov of Russia failed to win the gold medal in Men's 100m backstroke final (he is currently the world record holder in this discipline, as well as in 50m backstroke). Evgeny Rylov of Russian won the gold, while Kolesnikov finished 0.02 seconds behind him. Rylov was not given odds by the bookies, as everyone expected either Kolesnikov or Ryan Murphy (defending champion, from the United States) to win the gold. BTW, there is very tough competition at the top of medals table - China with 9 golds, and US/Japan with 8 each.
For such an upset where favourites are not even given odds what will the competition have 50/1 odds?? I wish I bet on the game as am not fond of betting on favs.

Brazil Women vs Zambia Women

Brazil hasn't been the powerhouse we all thought they where, do you think this could be a high scoring match I don't think so,if it turns out to be am going for a handicap bet in favour of Zambia the team that drew with China 4-4.
5086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to invest in BNB now? on: July 26, 2021, 01:47:31 PM
Markets are starting to recover, if you bought the dip good but
if you buy now you could be buying at a lower discount,  so the sooner you buy your bnb coins the better..otherwise you will get you bnb at a premium If you delay.

I see the bnb coin to have a lot of potential coming out as a project from the best crypto exchange Binance.

This coin will one day hit $5k maybe k10k because it's token burns ensure demand is kept high by reducing its total supply,  buy now while prices are low.
5087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you accept hackers’ Bitcoin donations to charitable organizations? on: July 26, 2021, 08:58:52 AM
When it comes to donations does the recipients ever ask about source of funds, I don't think so! If they did then chances are that they would have less people interested and would affect their targets. Moreover one can make an anonymous donations which a Hacker can do.

Afaik when it comes to lobbying for funds priority is to get funds and not do background checks .
5088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 25, 2021, 08:04:53 PM
but in case of Mbappe I hardly think so. He is young and so wants a change.

That could be it. He is young, talented and considered as one of the prodigy as well as the future star but he play in one of the league with no real competition in it. PSG basically dominate ligue 1 although they didnt win last season which is kinda absurd considering that their whole squad worth atleast 5 times of what the other team has
For a player to be considered credible, probably taken to be among  the greats,, he needs to play in a competitive league and Mbappe is looking for that. He has the talent to be the next big star after the Messi, Cristiano era and the timing wouldn't be any better, I hope he could go somewhere like Spain or England places with one of the best leagues .

Quote
He knows what the real problem is so he choose not to sign the renewal contract, if he sign another contract with PSG then there is probably no club that would be able to sign him considering that he is worth atleast 150 million euro right now according to transfermarkt.
Calculated move, and with a new contract that will certainly lock him out to potential prospects.

Well things could change though, I doubt PSG would be letting him go as a free agent. Thats definitely not going to happen
PSG will do everything in their power to ensure his not a free agent, maybe better salary...but for all I know they would rather make a sell than go out with empty pockets.
5089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's price, and our mental health. on: July 25, 2021, 05:29:10 PM
Once you invest in crypto there is always that mental connection and edge to see how price is moving, and the problem with the times we live in these days is that we have too much time on our hands to check on price frequently .

I think the only way to avoid this is to keep yourself occupied with other activities.
5090  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Buying BTC from KYC exchange on: July 25, 2021, 04:48:13 PM
Up until now, I thought the only way to convert fiat to BTC is through KYC exchanges.
There several ways of going about this, I myself use my trading account  to convert my crypto into fiat but when it comes to using exchanges with no KYC  these usually apply higher conversion rates which makes them kind of expensive on your side.

It seems like there are alternatives such as Bysk. Did I shoot myself in the foot by purchasing through KYC exchanges?
Never heard of Bysk...
But afaik It all depends on how you treat your personal information and urgency of the money,  because  the price you will be paying is higher than you would on exchanges with KYC.
5091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 25, 2021, 02:20:30 PM
Latest updates on the medals:

It will be a tough competition between Japan, china and united states.

From the charts United States are already leading the race and I don't see them stopping now. And with some big sports to go like basketball, Swimming, track and field games, gymnastics all big sports that  the USA dominates in and score in them.. this should end in this order
  • United States
  • China
  • Japan

5092  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-07-22] JPMorgan Opens Crypto Trading To All Clients on: July 25, 2021, 02:10:30 PM
After making bitcoin look like a fraudulent asset now they are back seeing this is a fast growing industry to tap into, these jokers wise decision anyway..

And why do I feel like some gold minded bankers and some risk managers playing it safe lost their jobs for not indicating this to be a profitable asset that they have missed out on an early investment.
5093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance too big to fail? on: July 25, 2021, 01:44:41 PM
It seems to me that Binance has huge influence over the crypto/Blockchain industry. Sometimes I wonder if the world's biggest crypto exchange is too big to fail.
Biggest crypto exchange means it has big pockets, and we all know money makes the world go round so it's easy to get themselves  out of any situation.

With no signs of decline, Binance is on a road to widespread success in the mainstream world. This is bad because it'll make crypto heavily centralized.
It's already a well rooted company in the crypto ecosystem and listing some of the biggest coins on the exchange (on different blockchains ) this does also give it the bargaining power to create a business environment that works in its favor leading to centralization.

Do you think Binance has too much power/influence over the crypto/Blockchain industry? How will it affect crypto (either positively or negatively) in the long term? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
Yes they do have the influence, if ever regulators wanted something done for example, they probably needed it to go through them first then all other exchanges will adopt whatever has been decided.
5094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the ETH reach $300 end of 2018? on: July 25, 2021, 12:44:47 PM
ETH is showing positive signs.
Will the ETH reach $300 end of 2018??
I've lost a lot of money, so when ETH signs of increased I comfort myself.
I hope you did not sell your crypto stash because you lost money as a result of a bearish market that happened in that year.

Ethereum Price has grown over 10 times of what it was so your portfolio should have grown by now if your bought way cheaper than it was.

This seems very likely, because the price of ETH shows a significant rebound, and its purchases are increasing rapidly, indicating that the shark is taking over ETH.

If it signs of go down dont be discourage  everything must be facing in serious problem but there is always  a way of improving like what happened in world market today the price are getting cheaper but it is the best way of buying some tokens cause the time that the markets recovered his price you'll regret it by gaining more profit in your wallet...
Mate why did you awaken an old thread  Roll Eyes
5095  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits key level since May...could Elon responsible on: July 25, 2021, 12:34:52 PM
Many of us don't take him serious but all I know is that each time he speaks crypto depending on whether the message was negative or positive, it usually moves the markets and that's what recently happened when he spoke of spacex holding some crypto ,and Tesla continuing with accepting bitcoin payments, markets should some bullishstrength.
He could actually be considered as a whale and how he uses his crypto does affect the whole ecosystem.
5096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Citizen Finance? on: July 25, 2021, 09:28:26 AM
Citizen Finance's total Max only 500,000 CIFI. a week ago Cifi price was $2 But today it has been pumped 300%+ the price of Citizen Finance's is $20. What do you think about this token. We should invest here or not? it Could  be $100 in future?
I think this is were most of us get trapped, we usually want to invest in projects which show early signs of price gains but ignoring the fact that we have pump and dump schemes which resembles high demand of its coin.
Let us not fall for any project with such traits but citizen finance looks promising but needs more homework done before investing in it..

5097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: July 25, 2021, 09:22:55 AM
Around this period numbers did rise But most restrictions that were put are slowing been lifted where vaccinations have achieved not less than 50% of the population, does this mean the numbers for online gambling will start to drop because most people can't wait to get out to experience life again (btw this should be for vaccinated people only to play to avoid spikes again)
5098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 25, 2021, 07:43:06 AM
Haven't you seen MU vs QPR?
They lost 4-2. But this does not seem to be the picture for next season.
I remember a few seasons ago Manchester United never lost any of its preseason games but when the league started the struggled to win games, which is true to say these games don't give the true picture of what's to come.
But losing on the other hand sends negative energy around the team which isn't a good start and in the EPL when teams know you struggling they will push you.

Manchester United is playing with a lot of its young players. Brandon Williams, Teden Mengi and Facundo Pellistri started the match. Many players under the age of 20 played in the second half. It looks like Ole is doing that on purpose to select players for next season.
I guess it's the process of team building, any young talents that impress you get a slot in playing the big league.
5099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why the hate on binance exchange on: July 24, 2021, 10:36:24 PM
Is there any tangible reason why binance exchange is been hunted?
When you are the best you will always be a target and knowing very well that Binance exchange serves as one of the biggest centralized exchanges , the regulators all want a piece of them and maybe find a way to kill crypto through clamping down of exchanges.

Quote
It seems they just hate success or what? Anyways no matter what they try CZ is a determined fellow, that's why binance made it this far, it's my best exchange and won't be changing any time soon
CZ good fellow indeed,  and seems to be a step ahead.
5100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ready for 2025 run otherwise its time and money wasting on: July 24, 2021, 09:23:45 PM

2018 ATH passed and went 3x 65000USD to BITCOIN. Now we again expecting to go 100,000 and 130000. I think its useless point now. its better to wait 2025. just accumulate usdt and ready for 2025.

There is no investment gain in holding USDT which should not even be considered an investment in the first place,  unless you are saying you don't want to risk any of your money.

Holding of bitcoin for another 4 years would be rewarding because there is a possibility of more investors coming on board, more countries legalizing crypto and miners would have resolved their minning issues....so much potential for the future  btc is the way to go.
