There are numerous reports on bank accounts being closed/blocked due to dealings in bitcoin and other cryptos. The most affected are the customers of Kotak bank. Is there any specific report where an individuals or business bank account has been closed by State bank due to similar reason?
Would you care to share the related links or articles link for further understanding of this issue. So far I've not come across any such incident nor my acquaintances as well. If what you are saying is true then we could check with related bank about any circular issue for the same. https://m.rbi.org.in//Scripts/NotificationUser.aspx?Id=11243&Mode=0The supreme court will give judgement soon let's see if circular lifts or retains!

You don't need a laptop - there are non-custodial mobile wallets, e.g. Coinomi (not an endorsement, I don't use it, just heard of it). You don't need to keep any money in that wallet. Just get an address, sign a message, stake it, and keep the seed/backup of the wallet secure.
Hello @suchmoon, thanks for the suggestion. I heard of coinomi got that feature but there are some who said that coinomi isn't safe and have a lots of error. This is one of my choice to do it but I'm still looking for other option or maybe the forum can accept some way to prove our ownership without much relying on this non custodial third party app. I know there are limited custodial wallet that has this kind of feature so if there is none much option. Thanks for the suggestion though. I have been using it since last 4 years or so, it works good, just don't expect a hardware wallet level security. It's not open source either. To repeat, You don't need to keep any money in that wallet. Just get an address, sign a message, stake it, and keep the seed/backup of the wallet secure.

Is merit notifications working fine! Cause I am not receiving it for like past two days.
I just tested merit notification and it works, I also received some yesterday and I checked my logs and see that notifications about your merit were successfully sent. The next time you will send merit to someone, could you please for a moment subscribe to that name and see if you'll receive a notification? Could be some problem with frontend, or with the browser. Not sure, I am getting notifications for quotes just fine, so (guess browser is ok), just not about merits. Anyway, not big deal, just thought it'd better idea to let you know.

I wish more game publishers would add buying/selling of game items using cryptocurrencies, game items and cryptos both are virtual, and I think they both complement each other.

I love steem, been part of it since it's launch, and it's improving every single day. I feel it could be the next big thing!

there are users who became hero members just by posting in their local board, you'd rarely see them in other boards (unless participating in bounty). I somewhat agree.

I went missing in protest against this system. Oh please, don't make us miss out on more posts like this! There is actually an argument to completely separate the bounty section from the rest of the forum -- posts wouldn't count towards post count, or activity and would be in a separate section of a person's post history. The bounty hunters don't generally appear interested in participating in the rest of the forum, and the rest of the forum generally isn't interested in what bounty hunters do. agree, just like posts in off topic board don't count in person's post history, same can be done for bounty board, wouldn't take much effort, I guess.

Dude, getting 1k merits is no easy pie, we must find a middle ground and current system is fine, not too easy and not to harsh.

Marketing can't sustain the coin/token, usability and community are main factors in any coin/token's survival.

|

You can use Coinomi, I claimed my bitcoincash using it back in the day and it was smooth! I even posted a guide but it might not be relevant anymore due to constant updates in app.

They all look good except bnb, it doesn't have much use case except being binance cex/dex token.
You don't have to act upon my 'advise' ofc.

I have seen anonymous people running gambling website without any license. There are few on steemit, magicdice was the first to start the trend and later lead person exit scammed, since he was anonymous, no one could do anything.
There websites who still know that many people didn't do study or research that's why they keep doing it. However all we need to do is to assured ourselves that we need to research and report those websites that only aim is to scam users. We need to be responsible enough in our investment, remember if it's too good to be true, it's probably a scam. There wasn't much destruction in terms of funds, since it was on chain betting all winning were transferred instantly. It's just that some mined tokens and all their 'minting' hard work went in vain. There was no blatant signs of scam and thus even experienced users fall for it.

All steem casinos offer on-chain betting (yep, this is correct word for what what you are asking), names are epicdice, cupz, kryptogamers. You can use steem keychain with active key imported or steem connect with the same.

I use Samsung Internet, works fine for me. @op may be time to change browser?
Bugs only occur in Chromium-based browsers, such as Google Chrome, Brave, UC Browsers etc. So for Samsung's default browser the bug won't be found. as I explained above. Samsung Internet is chromium based too. Almost all browsers use chromium as it's already open source and takes off unnecessary work unlike making one from scratch.
