I remember watching it a while back, I wonder if those people working there really do make more than the average Chinese factory worker. This was mentioned in the documentary.

Yes I would play in casinos that don't offer bonusses, usually you'd have to wager the bonus too much to be able to cash it out in the end. You'll just end up spending more money and getting nothing in return for it.

Ya, im not sure why many people still telling others that bitcoin is almost free transaction costs and anonymous. Its not in both cases. For africa paying 0.000X for transaction (to be able to be verified in normal time) its big amount of $ You're right about Bitcoin being described as anonymous, but even in some of the poorest countries in Africa, the 0.0001 btc miners fee would not be considered much. Especially if that person has access to a computer and internet.

Hmmm...why would this sort of thing not be allowed? I would imagine that a minor couldn't have a brokerage account to trade things like stocks, but having a bitcoin wallet is different and these bitcoin exchanges don't ask for your age when you sign up for the most basic membership. What kind of trading, btc--->altcoin or btc<--->fiat? That might make a big difference.
If kiddo trades on someone else's account, I don't see where the problem would be. Maybe there are some bitcoin lawyers around here?
It's not allowed for minors, but you can make them trade on someone else account yes. But he can't have his own account and do his own trading ^^ Then wouldn't the account owner have to pay the taxes of whatever the kiddo trades? What kind of trading volume are we talking about here? I would think that taxes wouldn't even be a factor if we're talking about less than 50 - 100 dollars worth of Bitcoin. Also, wouldn't you only have to pay taxes if you actually converted your profits back to fiat?

I personally just think it's the most efficient method to handle payments on the internet, it has less fees than other payment processors and I can access my funds from my desktop. If only there were more merchants that accepted Bitcoin.

You can't do much besides wait for a reply from one of the admins, I'd keep an eye on chat though, in case they're back. Just don't gamble too much of your winnings ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

If you've exhausted all of your options and keep relapsing after having tried to quit by yourself, it would be best to get some professional help. Try looking for evidence based therapies that could help you with your addiction, and talk to a psychologist.

I'm a member of some Crypto related pages/groups on Facebook, they provide me with the most important news on my 'News Feed'. I had to check them thoroughly before adding them, since a lot of these groups are used for spam.

That's pretty strange, do you remember posting your deposit address somewhere? You should be the only one who knows the address, so maybe you used it somewhere by mistake?

The link you posted shows a different bet I think, it's a 0.56 btc loss :p Anyway, that's a really good profit that you made, better not gamble it all again.

So in the market, that's one of the major problem why bitcoin rate decreases? there is no cycle when it is frozen in someone's wallet address that lost it's private key/ password for their wallet address accounts. Is there a report if how much bitcoin got lost per year?
There is no way to know for sure how many bitcoins are lost when people lose their private keys because they just aren't going to post that anywhere. Some could be lost when someone dies and no one know they had a bitcoin wallet so those are lost and no one even knows they are lost. Yeah, it's practically impossible to get exact statistics on how many coins are lost forever, but this article gives out a pretty good estimate based on the number of Bitcoins that lay dormant for at least a year and a half. It's a pretty interesting read: https://letstalkbitcoin.com/blog/post/rise-of-the-zombie-bitcoins

These are pretty cool, you've got some that I hadn't seen before, will certainly be useful for my blog ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Any chance that you will add Poloniex prices in the future, or maybe even altcoin prices?

I do not see how this specific news item should indicate that Bitcoin is in trouble. There have been mentions of Bitcoin in similar articles about ransomware before. Granted, maybe not on this scale, but this will not have a significant negative effect on Bitcoin.

Little more than a year ago I bought a bunch of small silver commemorative bitcoins, just bought them here on the forum. I can't remember the seller.

I bought some for around $130 if I can remember correctly and I used Kraken for my first purchase after seeing an advert on blockchain.info. This was back in 2013.

I've seen similar players just gambling like 100 BTC per day on slots for example, trying to get the progressive jackpot on Bitcoinvideocasino. One high stakes player once said in chat that he had won a progressive jackpot of over 1000 BTC somewhere and that he was gambling almost every day after that. Pretty crazy to think he might have lost it by now, this was about a year ago btw.
I think I've gambled around 4 or 5 Bitcoin in total over the last 3 years.

Interesting, I will have a try after I've seen the first results Pretty high odds indeed, like you mentioned, but that only makes it more exciting imo

Wow that sucks, luckily you haven't lost too much there, but it must still feel pretty bad.
My biggest loss story has to be when I won a 2.5 BTC progressive jackpot on slots and proceeded to gamble it all on higher stakes games. I had won another progressive jackpot earlier that week and cashed most of that one out, with the second progressive win, I thought I could easily afford to gamble some more and end up with a bigger profit. Spending 2.5 BTC in half an hour didn't feel too good, even though it wasn't the end of the world :-/
