My own definition of pie and how I have always seen pie being made and presented to me on several occasions,  I hope my home made and first time baking meet the requirements for this context.

No KYC. This is the good part of 1xbit and crypto deposit
You have to be careful not to get trapped by the sweet option of no kyc because thos casino is already having tons of unsettled cases and with newer ones popping up day in and day out.

-You are advised not to make a big deposit into your account because you start having problems with the casino the moment you either deposited a huge amount or you win a big amount and want to withdraw.

He cannot undo it anymore. Hope that your friend learned a valuable lesson from that experience.
I've been there too, there were times that I thought I can make gambling as my source of income but it turned out to be the opposite.
Just enjoy playing. Set limitations and remember to follow them.
I wonder how it feels to make gambling a source of income, this is comprehensive to me because I can't imagine it gambling is a high-risk activity and shouldn't be taken seriously unless you win a big amount that one can save some amount as a base balance in case of loss and what to fall back to.

5104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CBDC and Regulation discussion on: March 11, 2023, 04:00:58 PM
For the fact that most CBDCs have fallen short to meet the minimum success level with most of them not being built on the blockchain but just a digital form of their traditional currency they will certainly face the same problems as the fiat currency which are bad networks, and delayed transactions...

CBDC is not a stablecoin, so it is not necessary to use blockchain to create them. It should be understood that CBDC is one of the forms of money and is in circulation on a par with non-cash and cash. Accordingly, all the disadvantages of fiat will be automatically transferred to CBDC, including inflation.
Exactly thanks for this understanding,  but some country central banks make public anouncement that the CBDC vs cryptocurrency because they the saw CBDC as an exit from their present traditional banking problems such as inflation and the rest of the other economic problems.

-Most of the CBDCs have faced a hard rock due to a lack of appropriate implementation and developments.
5105  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: March 11, 2023, 03:56:38 PM
There has to be a stability between the gambler and the casino when the gambler has to be more active to get the bonus and the casino gives the gambler something to be more active.
So that a good stability is formed between the two and of course it will go well and gamblers will also feel at home in the casino.
Actually gamblers expect bonuses from gambling, which is good.
Because some gamblers naturally want bonuses so they won't be in vain active in gambling.
The truth is, we all have individual points of interest and in some cases, we may defer in beliefs and aspirations, while a lot of gamblers may want constant bonuses from the casino, some others may only want to get the best they can with their deposits since it wager requirements before withdrawals are not same.
5106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 11, 2023, 01:21:58 PM

Manchester United managed to win the previous match by a huge margin of 4-1 goals. Hope to be able to show their ability again in the next match. Manchester United players can only achieve good things if they play with responsibility.
After Liverpool gave Manchester United a whopping  7 goals to none and that alone is enough to de-motivate the club in future matches, but then since football is unpredictable most times let's see what result man United will present in the coming matches.

-This time is the most difficult stage of the tournaments thos season and if care is not taken, many clubs won't be making any exceptional attempts since the opponents are prepared to also defend their own position on the table.
5107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CBDC and Regulation discussion on: March 11, 2023, 01:07:05 PM
You simply cited the negative experience of creating and using CBDC in one country. But in general, CBDCs are more efficient non-cash forms of payment for the state compared to the current existing ones and therefore will be successfully developed. But state CBDCs will also change for a long time until they acquire the most acceptable form and user functions for everyone. People must have the choice of using currencies and their types. Cash is also necessary for us. The best option is to circulate all types of state currencies, including cryptocurrencies.
For the fact that most CBDCs have fallen short to meet the minimum success level with most of them not being built on the blockchain but just a digital form of their traditional currency they will certainly face the same problems as the fiat currency which are bad networks, and delayed transactions.

-take Nigeria's experience for example, the unavailability of the speed wallet and the issues of setting up the wallet is quite frustrating and at that many Nigerians avoid using it as an alternative.
5108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🐞 Dogecoin Will hit $1? on: March 11, 2023, 09:09:58 AM

logically, if there is indeed a new ATH formed, then it is certain that it will be several times the old ATH, it must be remembered that doge was able to reach ATH at $ 0.73 in the previous period, if it only reaches $ 1, it is certain that if an increase in ATH is 2x, it will be achieved.
the problem is that doge reaches ATH not because when bitcoin reaches its highest level, but instead doge reaches ATH earlier, which gives an indication that doge is increasing maybe the influence of elon musk.
so the role of elon musk in doge is very clear and now it seems you are right in saying that elon musk is busy with other businesses and has started to lose interest in doge. then doge will experience an insignificant increase in the future without the role of Elon musk, remember doge is a meme coin and at any time it may decrease in value.
There is a high chance of we seeing an x2 dogecoin price in the coming bull market and if there are a few altcoins to look forward to dogecoin is among them and to say that dogecoin has a large army of followers who constantly support the coin to keep its price up, but I am not sure, that dogecoin will go too far above it current price if the next x2 price happens.

-if we speculate a $1 dogecoin price we may be far from being right since the x2 price will not be based on the previous ATH price which was around $0.70+ but it will be an x2 of its current price let's take dogecoin present price for the example and using a 3-month cycle for the calculation dogecoin price today $0.065x2= $0.13.
5109  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 11, 2023, 08:39:45 AM

once in a while, certainly, we want our bets to win. if you are always losing, are you going to be motivated to bet? I don't think so. also, whenever we bet, of course, for us it is the best bet that we can place with, thinking that it may possibly win. who would want his bet to always lose? deep in ourselves, we always want to win even if the bet amount is small.
Our winning is the motivation to keep playing like every other aspect of life once you are not getting the rewards of your work you tend to become demotivated and can easily lose interest, for quite a while now I have been on a losing trend on stake and I have to continue because I am motivated to keep playing because my first bet on a stake I was lucky to have won a big amount and this has made me believe that I will win again.
5110  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 10, 2023, 11:29:08 PM
If you gambles and have fun from what you did, accept it that it's not a waste because you get yourself satisfied with pleasure, if you take a bet prediction and pay for it and loose the game, it a waste and not only is it a waste but a waste of time and money, we gambles because we feels like it's worth taking our money in exchange for their gambling casino bets we take, this is a pure justification, this makes gambling a free and fare bet with fun.
no one love losing whether you are playing for the money or just having fun playing some game, the truth is that even though you may not have the sole interest of making money, playing just for fun will not be exciting if the winnings don't come along once in a while.

-So it doesn't matter whether there is a win or loss, what matter are the individual player's satisfaction and sense of accomplishment.
5111  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Poor network reception is contributory to failed transactions. on: March 10, 2023, 11:24:40 PM
As the matter be, some places around Lagos are reported to have started accepting the old Naira notes, while some are still contemplating, waiting for who would begin the collection. Even bank sef not get network, as the matter be so.
Is this the kind of network the BEVAS capture machine would use in uploading results of oncoming governorship elections?
Let's be praying sha. It will soon be over I believe.

*For those who use Access bank, the USSD code for transfer is *710#. It is no longer the former which was *901#.
The issue with recycling of the old naira note have been greeted with a lot of misconceptions and this has resulted in divided conclusion as regards that subject matter, and I saw from my inner eyes that both the CBN, and Supreme Court are working hand in hand, if not why will it take supreme court thos long to make this judgement and what are the measures put in place to ensure strick adherence to the Supreme Court judgement by the cbn.

-I go access the bank on Monday and the bank offered to pay me the old naira notes in 1000 denominations but with a condition that I could not return it back to the bank if rejected by the general public if I want to deposit it back I will have to go to CBN to do so, so I had to reject their offer and walk away, what Nigerians want fo to hear is a statement from the central bank governor or Buhari on the status of the old Naira notes. 3

I don't know why most Liverpool fans are bet on concluding that their club is back to form just because their club managed to win over Manchester United in the last weekend with multiple goals scores.
This kind of thinking should be avoided, especially for the Liverpool players themselves. because we don't know when Liverpool will really be more conducive and stronger or not. Because so far, Liverpool have a small chance of winning. But at least they are still trying to always be better. for sure, don't let them just be satisfied with beating MU and become inconsistent again afterwards. Next, Liverpool will face Bournemouth, Liverpool should be able to beat him anyway. especially seeing the performance of these players, really new.
Their recent game results have given them some self-confidence and their now belief that the future matches will be as lucky as their last weekend's match against Manchester United,  but the truth is, we all know how inconsistent Liverpool has become in their few games back before the last weekend match.

-And with that level of poor performance from Liverpool players, can we expect them to get motivated and take up the higher and bigger responsibility of winning all subsequent matches? ²
5113  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 2023 Gubernatorial Elections Discussion Thread {Focus on Lagos & Rivers States} on: March 10, 2023, 08:56:55 PM
If I am to predict both state governorship election outcome I will say River state will slide into an APC state if PDP losegard their stance since Wike is leaving office for a new elected person, the power tussle for a seating governor that is seeking re election is far different from when the governor have finished his tenure and going out of office,  so the PDP aspirants will have to work double hard to be able to beat the ruling party.

-Lagos  may remain APC as the party in Logas have to prepare ahead since the already know what is at stake and how LP outperform APC in lagos with a small merging, APC in lagos will ride on Asiwaju winning to accomplish their party re election bids.
5114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too harsh on user? on: March 10, 2023, 08:36:43 PM

I agree with this. KYC should always clear things up.
There's also many ways to handle a user with 2 accounts from being extremely nice to him and asking him to choose 1 account and transfer all funds out of the other because it will be closed, through denying him wins on one account, by denying him wins on both accounts, up to a blatant scam IMO, which is taking his wins from both accounts along with all deposits.
I don't think casinos will be that nice to ask a user to choose between accounts when caught in case of multiple accounts since most of them already have it mentioned in the T&C of what penalty they will issue if a player is involved in multiple accounting.

-Since casinos are out to do business,  once they discover any issues related to cheating the account is outrightly flagged and close pending when the case gets cleared up or forgotten.
5115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🐞 Dogecoin Will hit $1? on: March 10, 2023, 08:04:25 PM
A popular coin in the crypto space is Doge Coin. Even though the coin is a meme coin with a big celebrity and businessman Elon Musk behind it. But in recent times there is no news about his crypto. People believe he may not be thinking about crypto anymore. As he has multi business. The hype created by the Doge coin during the last bull run pushed the price of the coin to around 70 cents. That was its highest price. But some investors still think that Doge Coin will be bullish again and it will cross $1. As such, these coin holders will have to wait until the next bull run.
If dogecoin depends on only the news emanating from Elon musk to grow it price to the speculated $1 price then you may have to think again because there is a need for community support and involvement and not a one man show to push the price of a coin uptrend.

Dogecoin has done significantly well in recent times and we can expect its network to grow organically instead of a pump from whales.
5116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 10, 2023, 07:58:42 PM
The Bournemouth v Liverpool match should have been an easy match for Liverpool after last week's victory. After Bournemouth lost to Arsenal, City in the past few weeks, the Liverpool match in a row must have been very tiring, and it is a very difficult situation for a team that is in the last place in the league. Liverpool will pass this match without mistakes and without losing any points. These matches are very valuable to be included in the top four again.
I may say that Liverpool is fully back in form, so i believe much in the team to win Bournemouth with easy efforts. For now I don't think Liverpool will  like to afford to lose any game again at this process because they are on 5th position on the table and they are willing to qualify for next champion league. I am expecting Liverpool to defeat Bournemouth with even many goals due to how weak Bournemouth is currently because if not Bournemouth is so weak I don't expect Arsenal to do comeback for them after two goals down.
I don't know why most Liverpool fans are bet on concluding that their club is back to form just because their club managed to win over Manchester United in the last weekend with multiple goals scores.

-But what we should focus on right now is how Liverpool will be able to sustain it current trends, by continuing to win their upcoming matches, the season has reached its climax and clubs are beginning to put on a new strategy that will aid them from sliding down on the table and continuing to efforts to advance in position.
5117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too harsh on user? on: March 10, 2023, 07:46:45 PM
If there is a suspect of multiple accounting from the same user the highest the casino will request from the player is KYC, and this is one of the major reasons why the casino has KYC policies on the ground.

-And any casino that confiscates your balance without due process must be a scam casino, and we have many of them so you are warned to avoid using such a platform.
Casinos have no right to confiscate our balance since it’s clearly against our privacy, and I think reputable casinos know their limits so they will never do that. But for scam casinos, knowing they will do everything just to take advantage over our money, then maybe they eventually do that and just point out some mistake on the casino user itself so that the casino will never be liable and will never be at fault in the end. Obviously, it’s another trap for scam casinos and if you gamble without small knowledge in gambling, you will definitely fall for it.
I don't think you are 100%  right on that statement about the right of casinos to withheld withdrawal or balance because according to the anti-money laundering laws it stated that your account will be restricted until you can provide valid means of verification of the ownership of the account.

-I may not be right in all cases but there are quite a good number of casinos that have that mentioned in their terms of service and players need to agree to that before account creation.
5118  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 on: March 10, 2023, 06:31:01 PM

But what I basically mean is beginners who visit this forum or maybe guests who visit this forum to look for gambling sites and don't know about these scam sites beforehand.
So there's no reason why there are still people who are fooled by such casinos.
Because usually people who are new to this forum are looking for casino sites, they find it difficult to waste time reading the reputation that has been marked on the representative account and just choose according to the advertisement on the JST and then make a deposit immediately.
In the end they were deceived and complained everywhere and asked the people who were there for help
You are right, we have some newbies who just look for popular casinos instead of checking for reputation their allow popularity to over loud their sense of judgement and thereby falling victim to those scam casinos.

-but we can nearly see any member who spends just a week in the forum falling victim, most newbies are a victim before knowing the forum.

After looking at these pictures I conclude that "ops' is doing good work, for ops to teach teens about bitcoin in class means she very brilliant and knows little knowledge about bitcoin no matter where she might have gotten that information from, while looking at those pictures I see that most of the students are concentrating on the topic because some of them might have had about bitcoin else were.
I have seen quite a good number of other forum members who post pictures and other content of other forum members doing social work using Bitcoin and the most important part us that knowledge is a vital tool for cryptocurrency and Bitcoin using it as an alternative currency.

-So ops are doing a great job by impacting knowledge on the young students, this is quite commendable but I will advise carrying out a holistic teaching plan since Bitcoin and blockchain are new techs and at that, there is a need for knowledge and education is key.
