I didn't realize BitcoinTalk was based out of the U.S. And reportedly, it isn't. The forum isn't based in the US.
Which makes this all the more strange http://www.geoiptool.com/de/?IP=bitcointalk.orgHuh.... who do we know in Texas? Very misleading.

Go ahead. Shock me!
You kinky devil. I thought this was a family friendly forum.

We need someone recording every talk and quickly uploading it on youtube as it end.
Sounds like a great idea for next year: pay some bitcoins for this service, rather than complaining about not getting something for free. "Guys, guys, we need to promote BTC to the public to help it catch on." "Shut up and pay monies." I hereby nominate greyhawk to document the entirety of next year's conference, for free. You really wouldn't like the spin on things I would give this. That's fine, I'm already expecting nothing, since you aren't being paid. Kinda like TEDtalks, eh?

You should probably fly to London and place it in their hands in front of an audience.
So has anyone done this yet or what? Yes. It was pretty funny. You can't just let that stand in the room. Give us all the nasty details.

Diablo is just an idiot and highly incompetent. I wouldn't give him the prestige of a scammer.
No, he's an example on why you do not let "technical guys" run a business, no matter how brilliant they are in their field of expertise. Diablo may be a genius when it comes to building miners and optimizing them for various GPUs, but he's not a businessman. And I'm not even talking about the destruction of value showcased here, but the real reason why this could happen at all: a severe lack of communication skills.

I said atheist/ anti- theist. That's not a religion. Just my opinion I would love to believe but I also don't ride a unicorn and talk to pixies. I prefer my fairy tales in Disney form.
You're agnostic. Not atheist.

I've been reading about bitcoin for most of the summer and lurking a bit here. It's pretty different now than how it was a few months ago mainly due to the pirate

Only before Pirate it was Bitcoinica and before Bitcoinica it was Betcoin and before Betcoin it was Linode and before Linode it was Bitconica again and before Bitcoinica again it was Bitscalper and before Bitscalper it was Bitcoin7 and before Bitcoin7 it was Mooncoin and before Mooncoin it was mybitcoin and fucking underage kids in Pattaya and before mybitcoin and fucking underage kids in Pattaya it was Mt Gox and before Mt Gox it was allinvain and before allinvain it was ubitex.
