5101  Economy / Goods / Re: Original design: Sweet Cryptocurrency Unicorn T-Shirt with a Leprechaun on it on: May 22, 2018, 06:03:38 PM
Comments? Questions? Critiques?
The design itself is great but I can't see its relation to crypto-currencies (in any way) and that's one of its downsides.
5102  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin world on: May 22, 2018, 04:48:11 PM
Anyone here knows what is the reason why there is no signature campaign paying bitcoin coins?
I think that question was meant for another forum Wink

5103  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Habibicoin scam/spam Please Tag on: May 22, 2018, 01:39:43 PM
failed to pay me on a signature that I made back on March.
Why did it take you so long to report it?

I posted this so the user will be tagged and to avoid users to join their airdrop.
Unfortunately, what you provided isn't good enough (I suggest to include some visual evidences as well):

5104  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Markz from freesmsverifications.com is a scammer. Scammed me out of $1500 on: May 22, 2018, 09:12:20 AM
I would like to report Markz from freesmsverifications.com is a scammer.
~Snipped~
He has two skype. One under VirtualSMS Numbers and another as Premium SMS Services name.
Can you provide more evidence in regards to connection between "Markz" and those Skype accounts?

We have bought total of 15000 numbers worth about $1500.
~Snipped~
I have bought one more pack and paid him like $5 but still he never responded and again banned me from another skype I used to contact him.
Tx link for those?

This is pure scam they are doing and I ask moderators to question this guy why he keep scamming innocent peoples.

19. Possible (or real) scams and Trust ratings are not moderated (to prevent moderation abuse).

Also try to update your thread with Scam Report Format.
5105  Economy / Reputation / Re: Copy paste on: May 22, 2018, 07:29:16 AM
You shouldn't be posting such cases on here (reputation board).
- Post it in one of the following threads instead (for future reports):

1. Mod, please check new plagiarism: Reporting copy/pasting, please permban
2. Plagiarism and copy/paste posts

Always use https://archive.fo/ to archive everything (did it for you): Archived
- Don't forget to report it using the "Report to moderator" button.
5106  Other / Meta / Re: Owner of thread is committing fraud, we need help! on: May 22, 2018, 05:57:14 AM
He then will slowly engage these people in a plot against the company which will eventually lead them to lose money (obviously I cant provide all of the info to the public).
but if you point to this thread with "report to moderator" option, he'd probably be able to delete it.
Since this case falls (somehow) under the following rules, then most likely nothing will/can be done (unfortunately):

19. Possible (or real) scams and Trust ratings are not moderated (to prevent moderation abuse).
Q: Do you moderate/delete (possible) FUD, accusations and untrue information?
A: No. We don't have enough time to check every single piece of information and verify the validity of the sources. Also, just like scams - too much room for bias and abuse.

Is there an option to delete the thread completely (as they used their account to open the bitcointalk thread)
No.

or allocate the thread under our control
The other user (vkitaebiz) should agree (highly unlikely).

or revert the page to the previous order or...?
No.

Not sure if this helps you in any way but here's a "google's cache of the thread on May, 17".
5107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Feedback on SimpleSwap.io on: May 20, 2018, 05:21:51 PM
Anyone ever used this site? what`re your thoughts?
Had a bad first impression (don't use it):

- Not transparent enough (no proof, Tx ID)
- Has a lot of good reviews coming from "users with a single review only" (it's too good for a new exchange):
  • Quote
    Creation Date: 2018-04-10T21:09:47Z
- A new limit is given each time that I visit the website (after exiting [few seconds apart]).

It seems good especially because there`s no account or limitation.
Just tried using it with a small amount ($22) to try DCR to BTC:

- Based on "FAQ":
The SimpleSwap doesn't have limits for cryptocurrency exchanges.

But when I went ahead to try it, I was greeted with "The minimum limit:" error > I closed everything then re-entered and did everything again and this time the limit was different:
- For DCR, it plays from 0.2ish to 0.3ish (everything was few seconds apart and I know the "high volatility" issue but the difference is too much).

I don`t think there`s any special fees etc either so I don`t see how they make money
Exactly, that's why I'm not recommending it.
5108  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why don't Neabie participate in signture campaign on: May 20, 2018, 12:55:23 PM
Why are Newbies not allowed to join bounties/bitcoin forum campaign?
They (including you) are quite restricted when it comes to what they can have on their signature spaces:

- Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 50 characters.
5109  Other / Meta / Re: No Chance For Negative Trust on: May 20, 2018, 09:19:48 AM
If no then why users are giving negative trust to the persons?
They don't give negative ratings to every single user with an alt account (only users that cheat bounty campaigns with an alt, end up receiving one).

  • Using multi-accounts, cheating and spamming are not allowed. It will results getting all of your accounts permanently banned from all my campaigns

"stompix", covered everything else.
5110  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Best place to find / post memes on: May 20, 2018, 07:11:48 AM
Apart from the above suggestions:

1. Add the ability to edit & delete our own comments.
2. Add the ability to flag someone else's post (meme).
3. To encourage users to post original memes, you might want to consider adding an option to promote their social media accounts or their websites (ex. Add those information above each meme).
5111  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: LV Mining online scam on: May 20, 2018, 04:39:12 AM
I’m trying to put the fear of God into him by showing I have all his personal information and could file a police report. I’d rather him just give me my money back, but we’ll see what happens…
That doesn't look & sound right! You should file a report, no matter what the outcome might be (to save future victims).
5112  Other / Meta / Re: Justin Dowman, not following "once per 24 hrs" bump rule (I warned him/her b4) on: May 19, 2018, 05:45:59 PM
Sorry to lend your thread SFR10, but this guy as well is using the same thing, although i've warned them.

They just completely ignored: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3814629.0
It's fine (you might want to compile a list of bumps that violates "once per 24 hrs bump rule"):
- TheONLY-1's last bump

Since only admins[theymos/Cyrus] can solve this problem, I think it needs some time.
Based on a "similar thread (to an extent)" that I created before, a "Global Moderator" can handle it as well:

~Snipped~
I banned him anyhow so thread can be locked.
~Snipped~

I do not know if Archived's links are acceptable to Global Moderator
AFAIK, they're valid & acceptable:

I've actually reported this in the last few days of a different user. Included the link to archive of the previous bump. Nothing was done though, so I assume mods can't see deleted posts and don't accept archive as valid proof? He's still doing it to this day. In fact a lot of them over the marketplace with locked threads specifically are doing it.

If you report the post and he deletes that post then the report will disappear along with it. I banned him anyhow so thread can be locked. When reporting these sorts of spammers report the op of the thread and give as much visual evidence as possible.
5113  Other / Meta / Re: Justin Dowman, not following "once per 24 hrs" bump rule (I warned him/her b4) on: May 19, 2018, 03:53:26 PM
He is still posting, probably a temp ban would bring him back to senses.
I felt the same way (initially) but he/she, keeps on violating this simple rule (even after being warned) and IMO, that should be more than enough to add more weight to his/her punishment.

Two other bumps added:

1. Archived
2. Archived
5114  Other / Meta / Justin Dowman, not following "once per 24 hrs" bump rule (I warned him/her b4) on: May 18, 2018, 05:10:25 PM
It appears, Justin Dowman isn't respecting & following "once per 24 hrs" bump rule (even after giving him/her a warning on his/her thread):

  • On "May 10" I posted:
~Snipped~
On a side note: You're allowed to bump only once every 24 hrs (I've archived some of your recent bumps [1st and 2nd]).

13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours.[2]

  • On "May 11" he/she replied:
You are so observant. Sorry for that.

  • On "May 17", I noticed him/her doing it again (I failed to archive the initial bump, due to being at work and thought he/she has already changed [I was wrong]) so later on, I went ahead and reported this user with the "last few bumps (multiple posts and a bump) of the day" (still "Unhandled"):
  • Today, I noticed the exact same behavior from him/her:
- 1st bump
- 2nd bump

On a side note: I'm not complaining about my report, I just want this annoying user to stop (there might be similar actions on his/her other threads [not sure since I didn't monitor those]).

Update:
~Snipped~
Two other bumps added:

1. Archived
2. Archived

Update 2: (May 20)
- 1st bump
- 2nd bump
5115  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Merch Store (Tees,Hoodies and Mugs) on: May 18, 2018, 03:27:55 PM
Let us know what you think.
I checked your whole collection and IMO, it's quite simple (no "boom factor").
- Overall, it's good but more creativity is needed.
5116  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Antminer S9 repair on: May 18, 2018, 12:45:07 PM
please let me know if you have any question)
- Information about the team behind it?
- Exact address?
- Phone number?

Do you have broken mining machines? Do you have any antminer S9 has low hash rate or lost hash board? We can fix it for you.
Why only S9?

We are building the largest mining machine repair center in North America,
Can we see some pictures?

Few other notes:

  • Problem with map (contact page).
  • Repair ticket leads to the following error:
    Quote
    You need permission
This form can only be viewed by users in the owner's organization.
  • It's strange to see the exact same prices as mentioned on Bitmain's shop (you're even copying their notes [ex. This]).
5117  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Crypto shop on: May 18, 2018, 11:01:46 AM
For the first part, there are plenty of those (crypto online shops that sell shirts [nothing special]) but for the latter part, it depends on the type of incentive program you're trying to provide (you might want to give more details).

You might get more responses if you move this to "Marketplace" board (use "move topic" option from bottom left corner of this page).
5118  Economy / Goods / Re: 125 L3+'s (including PSUs) on: May 18, 2018, 09:22:58 AM
You might want to consider writing your profile name (forum) on a piece of paper > place it in front of those rigs (few of them) > take a picture.

The reason behind my suggestion:

  • Came back after a long hiatus
  • Today at 04:17:27 AM - sailing9 - password reset via email
5119  Other / Meta / Re: New Report to moderator stats ;) thank you theymos on: May 18, 2018, 07:30:20 AM
Most of my reports are from years ago and I still have stats on them. Just hit report to moderator and you will see for yourself.
You may have misunderstood my first post (perhaps I should've included the appropriate link as well).

I was asking for listed reports on "report history".

It looks to be one month.
Thank you.
5120  Other / Meta / Re: New Report to moderator stats ;) thank you theymos on: May 18, 2018, 07:05:15 AM
How far back, we can see these report stats on our "report history" (a week, a month or more)?
- I'm asking this since I've been inactive (recently), in terms of reporting.

Would be nice to see our own comments, somewhere on "report history".
