5101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin owner die. It means bitcoin also lost forever? on: January 04, 2018, 04:35:20 PM
I just got this question in my mind. What will happen if no one knows about the pasword of his/her acount will it posibly deduct to the main supply of bitcoin? Example bitcoin was 21million supply and one man got 1 million bitcoin he was holding and suddenly he died no one can open his wallet is it posible that the remaining 20 million bitcoin forever?
i think yes it still be in his or her account but no one will get the money he invested unless he put it in a place or wrote it somewhere that can easily seen by his or her family and I believe he surely shared to his or her family how to handle bitcoin or use it.

There's the dilemma there. You won't know when you'll die unless you have a terminal disease and you also wouldn't know if the person you trust your private keys with will stay true to your trust. Especially if you have a lot of btcs.
5102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can Bitcoin help the developing world? on: January 04, 2018, 04:33:48 PM
The technology behind bitcoin is still developing and there are a lot of skilled developers out there who could help in its progress and growth. I personally think that businesses related to bitcoin in the future will boom and could possibly boost a country's economy once the people have adopted cryptocurrency.

Hopefully, since bitcoin indeed has the potential to push economies forward if given proper study and chance. The future would likely see cryptocurrencies becoming mainstream so definitely bitcoin will play a big part in it
5103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade without losses on: January 04, 2018, 04:31:08 PM
Hinestly, i find it hard to read the entire initial message by op but obviously as all traders would agree, losing is part of trading. One way or another, you'd eventually lose a couple of trades and there's nothing wrong with that since its always a good learning experience
5104  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can Bitcoin be ban? on: January 04, 2018, 04:28:33 PM
Well in certain countries where the government holds the access in any internet connections it might happen. Specially when bitcoin already affects their economy in way of investors and most banks closes in their places.

Simply put, depending on how a government sees bitcoin, it can be banned. Though of course i don't think people will cease to use it. Even with a ban on btc, users will eventually find a way.
5105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin saved my year on: January 04, 2018, 04:22:57 PM
Such successful story of yours is the reason we must stand again after a fall down, our life is like Bitcoin graph full of ups and down, never give up on things specially your life,
Bitcoin give me a profitable year also and it is not surprising many successful stories are emerging everyday.

Right. And a lot of people are being inspired by these stories so we may very well see a rise in crypto support this year. This opened up a lotnof opportunities for simple people to have an easier means to make their dreams come true
5106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you first know about bitcoin what was the price? on: January 04, 2018, 04:19:04 PM
The first time i knew about bitcoin was about 10 months ago or after china new year, then the bitcoin price was around $ 950 but i did not buy bitcoin because i thought the price was expensive, the first time i bought bitcoin was around the price of $ 1200.

And you probably thought it was extremely expensive then as well right? Just as people are thinking right now that it's probably too late to buy in. I've been dealing with bitcoin for around two years now and what i've learned is that its not too expensive to buy because unless you have 100k+ value, its still profitable to invest in btc
5107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC doing? on: January 04, 2018, 03:59:33 PM
Options 1 to 3 can happen this year but i think i'd go with number 4 option. There are no assurances about what can happen but i fully trust that btc will retain its status no matter how strong the top alts get. Ripple is probably a bigger threat now than eth or bcc so i'd keep an eye on xrp as well
5108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: January 04, 2018, 03:56:00 PM
This is decision is very risky. it is gambling if you have two house then you sell your house for investment in btc.
I dont think that it is a great or a good idea because a house is very important and if you will sell your house how about you family, having a own house is really the best so dont sell your house, yes bitcoin is really good but selling you house is not the right answer to invest here in bitcoin.

Well this is for those people who have a go for broke attitude. It can go both ways. If you get lucky enough then your gutsiness will be rewarded bigtime. If not, then i hope you have a good back up plan.
5109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as payment system on: January 04, 2018, 03:53:56 PM
We all know that Bitcoin is one of the best ways to invest your money. However, we know that Satoshi wanted to change money as we know it rather than new investment model.
How do you think, will we be using bitcoin as payment system? Or it will stay as it is and this bubble blow up one day?  Undecided
And how do you see it's future?

I think there are a lot of work need for bitcoin to be a good payment system and the most top on the list is stability which I think this time around is impossible. A lot of people are making their way into bitcoin so the price is still pumping quickly, if the price can't be controlled, it will always go rampant as usual making it a good asset not a payment.

I think the future of bitcoin is so hard to predict because as it's volatility, it can reached new heights that we will never know, and I think the more it pumps and dumps, the more it is going away from being a currency used in payment, but still there are some that accepts bitcoin as payment.
Bitcoin is still new technology that is why a lot of people still treat bitcoin as an investment. there would be a time when people will stop holding bitcoins and start using it as what it was originally designed for, which a payment system.

Well probably one thing for this to come to fruition is for btc to be fully accepted and be under government regulations. There are certain security issues that needs to be addressed due to btc's anonymity and people would have more.confidence if these are looked into
5110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction cost is too high on: January 04, 2018, 03:51:30 PM
What is happening?
will it change after adjustment since the transaction cost is being affected by the crazy price rise
Yes Bitcoin transaction fee almost high than before.  Now blockchain wallet Bitcoin transaction fee is about more than $11.  But a few days ago blockchain transaction fee bellow than $1

It's natural for the transaction fee to move alongside the value of bitcoin. I mean, that happens outside cryptocurrencies as well though hopefully some steps would be implemented like segwit to at least manage how high the fees can go
5111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you add your physical location to your payment address? on: January 04, 2018, 03:39:34 PM
Would you add your physical location to your payment address? What if that helps make bitcoin more legal and gain mass acceptance?

Sukhbir Benipal
https://benipaltechnologies.com/Benipal.html

Well that defeats the part where btc transactions are supposed to be amonymous right? And wouldn't that also compromise the security of your transactions as well? I think its better left as it is for now.
5112  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin rise up to 1M? on: January 04, 2018, 03:38:04 PM
i think bitcoin will rise again,up to 1M in december hahaha, because last year bitcoin rised to 1M in december.

Well john mcaffee is willing to eat his own d*ck if btc doesn't hit 1m but that's not until 2020. That's shooting for the sun if you're hoping for 1m this year and that's for me impossible.
5113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 Year of His Majesty the bitcoin on: January 04, 2018, 03:37:58 PM
Well it was until the last few days of the year when btc people got really anxious with the sudden dump. 2017 isn't only the year of btc but crypto itself. We saw not only btc hitting all time highs but etherium, bitcoin cash and ripple along with a few other alts
5114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Different betting strategies for dice games or similar on: January 03, 2018, 04:41:24 PM
I only play with two kinds of betting strategies.
Martingale with win - return to base bet; loose - 2.5 x initial bet; risk - 49.95%
And the 50/50 bet
Win - return to base bet; loose - return to base bet;
risk - 49.95%
I also played a third strategy but loose to fast with it
win - 2x initial bet; loose - return to base bet;
Maybe you have more interesting strategies?
Update: Different strategies just for fun, not to win because there doesn't exist any winning strategy.

such a strategy will only waste time.
and in the end we will only get defeat,
try to start counting and predict the numbers or cards that will come out next. using math coding.
and as we often see that long-term gambling will only give us defeat

Not really a waste of time though. These strategies can work for for a certain time only and not for an extended playtime. If you're going to use martingale or any of the strategies indicated, you better have an exit plan ready because that will determine if you'll go home happy or not
5115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: January 03, 2018, 04:38:32 PM
If Gambling was not introduced then many people have to do the hard work for earning money.

If gambling was not introduced  maybe people are all busy on working. All their time focus on work because gambling makes fun and just taking time as a past ten to relax. If there's no gambling all is bored and l know that gambling like casino is one of the biggest gambling that makes government profit for the benefits of the many.Maybe as we experienced now that there is gambling it's happy then, big-time gambling like casino benefits much while if there's no gambling maybe all is smooth just normal like work then go home.

You are right mate but I just want also to qualify that not all will be going to be bored because even at these times where gambling is present and prevalent, there are still many people who are not into gambling and yet very happy in life.

Yeah gambling isn't the only form of entertainment and a lot more people are not into gambling than those who are. If its just for entertainment, people don't really have the need for gambling.
5116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to advertise gambling site on: January 03, 2018, 04:36:41 PM
Advertising to your website in a signature campaign through this forum should be much rewarding for you since lots of others casinos such as jetwin ( the one in my signature ) , fortune jack , yolo dice and lots more have advertised through this forum and it has been much successful for them .

Well the market here would be specifically to those in the forums in btctalk. It would be much much better to have social media pages like facebook or twitter to reach out to a lot more people and introduce your site.
5117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think you are a gambling expert? on: January 03, 2018, 03:49:44 PM
I just want to know how you feel when you get a big win from the gambling you play, I know that feel is definitely fun.
But, do you feel or ever assume you are a gambling expert after you get a big win?
Then what kind of gambling has made you think of yourself as a gambling expert?

I've never consider myself as a gambling expert even I won a lot of money. Since I believe that in gambling it's not about skills or knowledge but majority in gambling is being lucky. No matter how good you are if it is not destined to be yours then its not.

Yeah being too confident because of a big win will be a big mistake. Experts in gambling don't think that way because they know that gambling results can't really be known for sure so they're cautious as well
5118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: January 03, 2018, 03:43:24 PM
It looks like Isaiah Thomas is returning tomorrow vs. Portland. Cleveland should win, but it will be interesting to see how many minutes Thomas plays.
Usually when a player is returning after a long rest due to injury he will be having a problem on his first game, he cannot blend easily with the
team and that takes time, but I still believe if he will be given few minutes, the Cavaliers can easily win against the blazers who are on a back to back games.

Yes agree on some of the cases, but at the same time, there is a case where blending will easily be mixed even at the first game. Good examples are : Irving at Boston, Butler at Twolves, Oladipo at Pacers, Chris Paul at Rockets etc. The only problem at that IT's blending scenario is; IT is still not in 100% full recovery status so he will a undergo minute restriction. He always joined Cavaliers practice so I think he know what Lue system is.

Unfortunately he won't play against the Boston Celtics the other day.
It is a good strategy to sit IT against the Celtics to restrict his minutes. Popavich does this all of the time and it pays off in the playoffs when the team is healthy. However, Irving is going to put on a show tomorrow Shocked
They are gonna need him good thing they didn't start him against Boston he wouldn't be fully ready yet. He will boost their offense will get a huge boost but their defense not so much it would probably go to the worst defense they are not doing well in that area last few losses they have been smart letting him slowly getting his feet on the floor again against portland and sit him against the Celtics, he's going to be all kinds of amped for the revenge game and you don't want him hurting himself trying to do to much this game should easily and Cavs bad series.

Well if you're expecting the same it that led boston to an impressove finish last season, i don't think you'll get what you want. Same with kevon love during his time with the twolves. Some great players perform better on a certain system and i think it will take it some time to get used to playing on a stacked team
5119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with altcoins on: January 03, 2018, 03:35:08 PM
If you want to bet with altcoin like Dogecoin, WBet7.com is good option for you. We accept DogeCoin, no verification document required, payment is automatically and instantly.

How are you so sure about that casino? it has no reviews at all in this forum, it is a little bit risky to try to join or click a link that cames from a newbie.

I dont know, but i searched it on the internet and there are no reviews at all, at least on facebook and twitter.

Maybe if you can explain it a little bit we can enter to your casino and start our journey in there.

Obviously they're promoting their casino and best way to find out would be to go to their site. Though doge is already being commonly used for gambling, even some exchanges hat have dice feature allows you to use doge
5120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Q for Bitcoin gamblers. Are you affected by high transaction fees? on: January 03, 2018, 03:31:31 PM
I asked the same question for the Bitcoin casino representatives here, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2595617.0

But I did not get many, or any, answers from them. Hahaha. Maybe they do not want to admit it, but of course it affects them and most importantly also you!

First I want to get some feed back from you, the users. How negatively affected are you by the high fees in the Bitcoin network? Does it make you stop gambling?

The good news is there is a solution for that problem. It is using Segwit! Let us campaign and start asking our favorite gambling sites to have Segwit enabled and implemented.

For the users, my advice would be to stop using Blockchain.info and replace it with GreenAddress.it. If you are using a mobile wallet, use Samourai. If you want to make a Segwit enabled wallet in Electrum with the standard "3 addresses" then follow these steps

Quote
Generate a BIP39, 12 words seed on https://iancoleman.io/bip39/, you can also use it offline for more security.

On electrum choose, create new wallet, I already have a seed, then on "options" choose BIP39, paste the seed then click next.

On derivation path path use: m/49'/0'/0'/0

Easy! Tell your friends to do the same.

I think everyone is affected by the high transaction fees as long as you are tinkering and dabbling on cryptocurreny. THe effect is that in every transaction that you made as long as there is bitcoin to start with you would have to pay these fees

It's not really like this before, like last year. I guess the boom in bitcoin price aren't all about profit. Those that are earning btcs and gambling with btc are largely affected
