5101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What p2p games will you play? on: February 21, 2020, 10:12:58 AM
There are some p2p games that are now available to play with, Like poker and some trading p2p game.
Texas holdem is a good game to play if you are well versed in it. Then again a real life game attracts a niche crowd there than the online games but online option is available. Many of the casinos here allow the p2p poker games where collusion is kept to a minimum but that fear is always there.

Quote
I also played rock paper scissors before and it is quite fun and fast.
Still skeptical about how much the p2p associated skill and the EV+ aspect would be in RPS game in online mode.

Quote
I am also not fan of lottery, besides that, it is slow and non-adventurous, I am not lucky on lottery games since then. Fast p2p games are more entertaining than playing on a programmed game.
Who said lottery is a p2p game? It is not. Lottery is a completely EV- game and you chance of losing is more than winning. Dont bet on lotteries to win jackpots, you will be broke before you know it.
5102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decent signature campaigns? on: February 21, 2020, 10:07:21 AM
I would like to know if there are any decent signature campaigns running? I'm aware of the ones that pay with BTC, I want something that pays with altcoins, preferably not an ICO though, but an alt that has been running for sometime.
There are signature campaigns being posted in the "Services" section here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0
The above pay in bitcoin though.

You can visit the bounties section for altcoin projects but they are more of a hit and run thing for earning like 2weeks on one project and then move on to 2week for another project. Not anything decent if you ask me.

Moreover you are going to sell those coins for money right? Now these tokens may not be worth any fiat and then you would be selling bitcoin anyway so why no go for the bitcoin campaigns. I always encourage that people go for bitcoin campaigns because the end result of altcoin campaigns is always anxiety and depression of not being able to sell the coins for anything worth the time spent on them.
5103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why bounty budget is becoming too much low? on: February 21, 2020, 10:03:54 AM
Bounties with low allocations don't dump in value, that's why I like joining such bounty projects but its sure that the reward will be low, there are other few cases too that the project can 2x or 3x easily
See it is not necessarily true that the low allocation of the bounty saves the project from its hunters dumping their tokens. The hunters joined because they wanted to dump and make some quick cash. This is the side effect of giving bounties for every project and not being exclusive to few projects which showed their generosity for the community in this way of getting a bounty pool.

That may be one of the reasons but truth is that bounty hunting days are over. If you want to earn some altcoins buy them - put in your cash and buy them. You can always go for bitcoin paying campaigns and that is what people should focus on more on.
5104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters let use our brain and get united, PLEASE! on: February 20, 2020, 09:03:38 AM
Yes but the problem with this is the qualification.
Not for those who have a good control over English and can start a decent conversation here. It is definitely not tough for any average user to start posting and once they get the hang of it they will improve on their own as long as they follow the forum rules.

Quote
There are some decent rank but the problem here is the lack of slot to most btc campaign
If you dont like then dont go for it. Campaign payments are not proper jobs but side earnings so they should not be considered to be a main source of income.

Quote
and they have their own preferences of users.
Preference is given to users who have a good Merit:post ratio but then managers have their own yardstick of taking whom they wish. Like I said, if you dont like it, leave it. While it is a completely wrong to assume that managers enroll only their friends into campaigns, it is true that they give a importance to quality over quantity.

Pretty unfair right?
Nope.
5105  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to Precious Metals Companies on: February 20, 2020, 06:31:55 AM
On here many companies provide the service and you will do it easily.
I would not suggest that directly. Too many scammers here even though some precious metal owners are legit but still using an escrow for the trade is essential.

Also they can use fiat to buy precious metals after selling bitcoin which seems like a two step process but a feasible one if direct transfer is not possible.

Again there may be local dealers in the person's marketplace of local boards or locality which is also good.

But in general there is always a risk of gold quality when taking it from P2P systems than an exchange.
5106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The transaction trust problem. Reputation ? on: February 20, 2020, 05:01:35 AM
One should use money to transact only after they know the risks of using the method to transfer. Bitcoin does not change that. What it does is removes the intermediary between parties transacting. That does not mean the person on the other side is trustworthy again before or after the work is done. While it is true that you should use escrows to intermediate the transaction if you think there is possibility of scam, it is also true that once the money has been sent, it is gone forever. So it is better to verify before trusting and bitcoin does not change that.

Again that does not mean another trust/reputation system is better. Bitcoin and that are not exclusive.

Very nice mood swings you are having there from one word to another. Way to go for the professionalism of a bitcoin businessman Grin

else I wouldn't have said "come, test and then buy".
They can be tested and proven to be "working". Does not mean that they are going to profitable. If someone is well informed they would not buy that anyway.

So don't act over-smart and stop meddling in others business.
You failed to address people in a professional manner but I guess its all no longer necessary anymore.

As far as pictures are concerned, I think I'm not yet eligible to upload any images on this platform
You can post links to images uploaded to sites like ibb and imgur. Not even trying to do that? I can understand its "tough" to buy a Copper Membership, but those sites allow free uploads. Why your Jio sim ran out of data already? Cheesy
5108  Other / Archival / Re: Bitmain S9 Antminers with power supply units for sale in Hyderabad!! on: February 19, 2020, 02:56:44 PM
Is anyone interested in buying 8 Antminer S9 units along with power supply units? I bought these from Bitmain in 2017 but haven't used them till now as I didn't have a place to put them..if anyone interested then quote your price in the replies.....thanks
Bought in 2017 means they are virtually useless in this market. A 3year gap means the hardware is way old and not at all useable to recover any sort of ROI considering the price that you are going to ask for it. It is very unlikely that anybody is going to be fooled by such an offer unless they are looking for a "adventure" in mining shitcoins where they will get burnt out. The hashpower of those devices would not be able to compete with the ones being used now which are optimum at this difficulty.

Moreover you are new account here with first two posts asking for a trade. Why not post some pictures of the items? not stock photos of course. Though I doubt you would get any trade done.
5109  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Will the increasing use of stable coins boost Bitcoin price eventually? on: February 19, 2020, 02:52:26 PM
It is wrong to think that bitcoin is less "usable" because it is volatile. Every trade-able asset is volatile by nature. It is an inherent property due to secondary markets that trade it and thus is a necessary evil. Think of the days when gold was used to barter, since it did have any secondary market at that time it was considered absolute but with development of civilization it no longer remained so.

What that behind us, we are already using something like a stable-coin for daily necessities which is just known as fiat currency. That too is not completely stable because it is again exchanged by foreigners and have a fluctuation on its markets but not inside the country.

Now coming to what merchants can do, they are not going to sell items that are priced in the values of millions such that even a 1-5% swing would cause massive changes in price of the article. If they are such a merchant then its different but of course your local grocery store does not fall under them.

If we think is this more practical and less conspiracy theory manner then it makes sense. However I have noticed a continuous low key attempt of stablecoin shilling in this forum which needs to be busted soon.
5110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters let use our brain and get united, PLEASE! on: February 19, 2020, 07:51:03 AM
We must create a bounty union. Huh
LOL no, that is a waste of time. If you are thinking of devoting time to something be it anything other than just hunting bounties. Of course that trend has reduced a lot now and the forum has become a bit more cleaner of spam that used to happen at one time. But if you have skills try to get a job that pays even part time. If you dont have skills maybe you need training and that can pay off, but dont be the bounty spammer.

Again bitcoin paying campaigns are always coming up in the forum so they are a also a good alternative to everyone who has a decent rank. Try to improve your post quality and attempt those in future. Forget that bounties ever existed.
5111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the Faith of Casino business owners? on: February 19, 2020, 07:47:13 AM
If the casino doesn't have a license to operate and they don't try to search from the government, then they can get jail, and they can pay some amount of money to operate the casino still.
That would be too risky and shady for any casino to start the business, dont you think? If they are going to set up business they will try to follow the legal system as far as possible to prevent prosecution later on.

Quote
But I don't think that they can run the casino for a long time because their fate can be in jail because of breaking the law. Maybe that will be the same thing that will happen with the online casino.
Which is why such casinos are often going to be scams. People try to seek out such new casinos because end of the day they are gamblers and have lost money elsewhere and they have their fallacious judgement that a new casino would mean a better odds, which is of course wrong. When we have trusted casinos, which trusted owners here why bother to try other casinos which are newly established.
5112  Economy / Exchanges / Re: FCoin Shuts Down With Customers’ $133 Million on: February 19, 2020, 07:42:42 AM
Fcoin was one of those exchanges from Asia with the new "trade mining" scheme for passive income. They said that users who buy their token will get a share of the trade mining fees and thus roped in a lot of noobs trying to make money from this scheme. So did Catex and Nexybit and a bunch of others.

Now I had previously talked about nexybit in some of my posts where people asked for trade mining and tried shilling it here, which is a normal bitcointalk phenomena. Nexybit essentially scammed its investors one fine morning where they stopped paying out daily payouts for their token and  shut down their telegram accounts. They also exit scammed its investors and the telegram group is now a bot spammers paradise.

I have seen similar attempts to make people pledge their money for a passive income but all of them essentially were scams except casino bankroll investment in a trusted casino. Mining farms and this recent trade mining were all scams. If any of you are having investments in any other trade mining exchange then be sure to pull out your exchange.

5113  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin good for the economy? on: February 19, 2020, 07:37:30 AM
Imo bitcoin lacks of 1 highly needed quality of currency is usability.
Bitcoin is usable as soon as it was created. What you speak of is lack of merchants accepting bitcoin and this will not increase unless something more lenient approach is done by governments. The fact that bigger companies dont like crypto is evident here. So it is better not dwell on that thought and use bitcoin as much as you can without hoping for more "uses" than speculation.

Quote
At this point bitcoin is volatile and so is a thing to gamble around, so its not a good investment either
Prices did not change much last 2months. It has been between 10k to 9k USD and is pretty stable if you consider buying something worth a 100$ price tag. The "too volatile" is a phrase used by nocoiners to take people away from crypto. A 5-10% swing in price will not have significant changes in your expenses provided you are not spending in the order of millions.
5114  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 40 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: February 18, 2020, 09:55:59 AM
I would always compute how much would I gamble in our currency,
It could be a method to keep track of profit and loss by keeping a excel sheet having all the amounts converted to USD and not BTC. This is important to keep track of the spending on the bankroll.

Quote
Since I also set my goal in our currency not on BTC.
I think you should set your goal on that currency that does not change too much with market variations. Besides, you have to buy that bitcoin with fiat only, unless you are spending BTC from BTC earnings.

Quote
But I think there are some who doesn't change the amount that they would deposit and only counts on the outcome of their play.
Most gamblers are not even disciplined enough to know basics of bankroll management and they get triggered every-time they lose something to click on the "All in" or any such respective button on every casino. While this is risky it is how they play. While if you try to make a gambler disciplined,, they would not remain a gambler anymore. Grin
5115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can save some people's lives :-> on: February 18, 2020, 06:37:56 AM
Bitcoin can make people die suddenly when seeing bitcoin price down to lower price, how many people looks frustrated after buying bitcoin in higher price about $16k and what situation when seeing bitcoin right now down, will be side to make some one die suddenly when not ready with bitcoin going down.
Actually you are having a biased opinion here. Both fiat and bitcoin can be the cause of lives but to what extent cannot be verified yet. People lose money become sick but let's keep it to just money and not specific modes of payments because no such research has been done yet to examine the effects bitcoin has or fiat does not and also vice versa.

A certain virus being incriminated to be a cause of death mediated by fiat, is too much a paid variety of news to upstroke bitcoin which is not fair in terms of fiat's side too. You have to understand both sides of the story. Embarrassed
5116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto 2020! Gains or Losses? on: February 18, 2020, 04:20:25 AM
I invest only on bitcoin, the best thing I could ever want from this 2020 in crypto space is better market value, I am more into bounty hunting so If market do keep surging many IEO will become successful and bounty hunters will get enough rewards
I would not be so optimistic about the altcoin market though. You know that most of it came from the bounty hunting and they ended up being of zero value. With time these projects are nothing but shitcoins. The OP said something's but never came back to reply which is why this topic has also become redundant and not worth looking into.

While it is good that you are willing to invest in altcoins, bitcoin is what is more important at this time.
5117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do some gamblers actually win? on: February 17, 2020, 09:07:14 AM
We all read threads where people say that it is impossible to win against the house because the edge that is always against a gambler.
Always correct. No matter what. If it was the opposite then the casino would go bankrupt provided the outcome of the bets is infinitely large.

Quote
But often when I am playing dice and I see chat and view stats of some gamblers there are actually some profiles that show profits while some show loss so my question is, do people actually make profits from dice or the stats are misleading or something?
Gambling sites profile show "profits" precisely, NOT "loss" - get my point? They dont show the P/L ratio or the total loss value. You can see the wager amount and the profit but never the loss value. Wink

Quote
And I am talking about regular gamblers who I mean are active in chat almost daily so it's not like they made profit once and stopped gambling, they are active and gamble almost every day so how some guys are managing profits while others are failing?
They are not making profits. They are there because they have lost and are trying to make it back. The incessant attempt to win and lose again and again is what keeps they going and the hope that one day they will get back the lost amount. If one really wins big they leave the casino is they are wise enough and know how the casinos work.

But if they are a fool, like 99.9% of casino players they come back and lose the won money again to get back to the same vicious cycle. Grin
5118  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin good for the economy? on: February 17, 2020, 09:02:37 AM
Do you have the correct source for this quote? I would like see it.

Hard to earn - this is incorrect. It is very easy to earn provided you have money to buy it - that is speaking in terms of owning it. If you talk in terms of employment salary in bitcoin then its somewhat of a niche here and other freelancing sites with bitcoin as payment mode.

I think a bitcoin based economy will never happen completely. It will always be a mixture of fiat and bitcoin because both have their specific and fundamental properties which serve different needs. Of course some people will never accept crypto and so they will make sure that it never reaches or have difficulty in reaching mainstream.
5119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: February 17, 2020, 08:59:17 AM
Exactly, most of the experience will not bother about the risk because managing funds are always good in order to reduce the loss. So without calculation, it is impossible for a trader to make a profit, we need to restrict ourselves otherwise, we are going to lose a huge amount of money.
It is important to gain experience but it does not mean the risks will reduce. Managing funds is one thing but going broke and not having enough bankroll to spend with checks is a tough thing. For any trader readily available cash is important too. They want to take every opportunity at making money but then again they need to keep bankroll in check. So it boils down to how much risk they are willing to take and how many trades then are executing.

You may play the long game and work with smaller portfolio with a big capital. That is good for most traders.
5120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any Wave decentralized Exchange on: February 17, 2020, 08:49:19 AM
I know ethereum has lots of Decentralized exchange where you attached your private address and trade directly from your wallet.
Dont compare Ethereum with Waves. Although the ideology behind ethereum is broken it is not comparable to Waves which is a shitcoin pumped by some influencers and these Waves tokens which are again shitcoins used to make people crazy about gathering them but have no place to sell. I can understand the situation you are in but you are responsible for it.

Quote
please recommend me any WAVE Exchange platform just like IDEX, binance DEX. i have a lot of token in my wave wallet i wanted to sell out. i need authentic platforms Not scams.
I do no know any other exchange which can be trusted other than Tidex. Dont know if that is decentralized as well. The biggest problem that you will face is getting a buy order to sell, not exchanges.
