5101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin Ready for a Major Breakout? on: February 13, 2021, 11:17:39 PM
LTC sure is not getting much attention lately because of LINK and DOT climbing up the rankings. But looking at it again, they are not doing really bad. LTC volume is actually pretty good considering the overtaken of the ranking. Its still a decent investment for me same as XRP.

44.7%in 7 days is definitely a good increase, Litecoin although a former number two coin in the market and had a big slip in standing still a good coin to invest in, we never know Litecoin will become the next favorite coin of Elon Musk to shill and it will eventually reach $1000, Litecoin is always ready for a breakout it has always proven it can and the market has recorded on those breaks out.
5102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk changed the market circles on: February 13, 2021, 11:00:07 PM
we know that there is ups and downs in the market. But this time market correction not come yet.

Due to elon mask entering to this market so big bear market not come unlike 2018 jan ?

He will make an impact now that he is here, but a bear market is something that even a man like Elon Musk can stop unless he can commit half of his fortune to Cryptocurrency which I doubt he will, I have a feeling that Musk will continue to play the market but there are some risk involve playing with what he is shilling, I hope he stops this shilling and works with the betterment of the industry if he is that serious to get involved here.
5103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: February 13, 2021, 10:54:01 PM
I am playing on Betfury glad that they offer Tron, so it becomes my choice of coin to deposit I save a lot on fees and it took minutes to confirm, the last time I deposit Bitcoin I'll have to wait 24 hours before I confirmed my transaction, and with the value going up I prefer to keep my Bitcoin on my wallet.
5104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Elon Musk is a Dogecoin shill? on: February 13, 2021, 10:06:32 PM
Elon Musk's praise towards Dogecoin, has made the "meme" coin soar towards new heights. He continues to spread positive comments about it, resulting in increased interest from people in the mainstream world. Yet, it seems to me that Mr. Musk doesn't know much about Dogecoin. The cryptocurrency was never meant to be taken seriously with a high inflation model and its track record of abandoned development. It could be that Elon Musk is "shilling" Dogecoin in order to fill his pockets with money. If he invested before the craze, he would've made a lot of money by now. It's yet to be seen what his true intentions are.

What are your thoughts about Mr. Musk's reactions towards Dogecoin? Is he a "shill" or not? What will be the outcome of Dogecoin's price after the hype comes to an end? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

It's definitely a shill, there are a lot of coins better than DogeCoin, imagine if he bought DogeCoin two months ago without announcing it he'll definitely already made a lot of money, and the way he promotes can be considered a shill he is all praise without valid and good comparison why it is better than those who are on to of the standing, I'm not against DogeCoin but there are a lot of good coins that's worth promoting and just waiting for the right time for investors to see their platform, we'll see if Musk will tweet other coins for another round of shills.
5105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the Ethereum killer? on: February 13, 2021, 09:40:09 PM
EOS transaction volume capacity beats ETH. NEO, XTZ and ADA were all thought to be ETH killers. Which of them has really succeeded?

But Binance is very much different, compared to all those you've mentioned it has a lot of services to offer to the community and they are very active in contributing to the betterment of the industry, Binance is still young and they still have a lot to give to the community, it will become a backbone of the industry and will soon land in the top 5.
5106  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19, Lockdown and repercussions on: February 12, 2021, 10:07:01 AM
Hello from Greece,
I'd like to discuss any repercussions that stem from Covid-19 response measures (Or lockdown depending on where you are), either Economical, Psychological or anything else you can think of.

We've been in lockdown since the early days of November, only retail has been reopened and even that isn't open in every region due to a rise of cases in them. Moreover, the recent surge of cases throughout the whole country might be leading to a 3rd lockdown (like it is much different from now). Definitely, the economic repercussions are huge throughout the world, since most countries have taken extreme measures in order to suppress the pandemic. However, the combination of financial depression and quarantine, could lead to clinical depression in a respectable percentage of the population.

Seeing it from my point of view, being in home, almost 24/7, while the supermarket or to the pharmacy being the only way out is depressing and driving me nuts. We can also go out for exercise/walking. I'm living in a region that is characterized as "Red zone", everything closes at 5.30 p.m, while we cannot leave the house after 6pm. My only escape is going out cycling every once in a while.

I'd like to discuss the financial and the mental repercussions of the pandemic plus, how do you cope with the Lockdown yourself?

We also have a one-month lockdown and since we are living in a depressed area we got our relief goods coming from the government this is to prevent people from going out, it's really depressing in our areas because three families are cramming in a 50 sqm meter house it's really is depressing, but we need to heed the call of our government to protect ourselves, we have to take it whether we like it or not.
5107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk said he bought Dogecoin on: February 12, 2021, 04:29:17 AM
Just half an hour ago, Elon Musk tweeted that he has purchased Dogecoin. This is hilarious. Finally he is getting into crypto (may be he was here for long ago). I just got the reason behind his shilling lol.
Here- https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1359519541219500033?s=19

I don't think he bought a little amount of Dogecoin although he is not giving us any figure, with his status and his wealth I'm sure he bought a huge amount of it, I have this feeling that he bought hundreds of thousands worth of Dogecoin that is why we have a huge pump of Dogecoin, now that he is into Cryptocurrency we must always check his social media for the next pump in line.
5108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin would you Buy now and Why? on: February 12, 2021, 03:32:36 AM
Bat or Basic Attention is worth adding to your portfolio you can earn free bats by using their browser and from referring people to use their browser it's very popular and they have very steady growth, it has potential to grow to $5, hopefully, it will, it's just unfortunate that it was removed on Publish0x as one of their reward tokens.
5109  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Investing ADVICE FOR BEGINNERS FROM A BEGINNER on: February 12, 2021, 02:47:35 AM

7. If you manage to lose the $9000 it’s not GAME over, if you have a decent job weekly keep buying your investment
8. LIKE I SAID, use $1000 for the first minimum 6 months to play around, then you can dollar cost average with the remainder 9000,

$1000 is such a huge amount to lose that's worth a lot for an average guy living in a third world, if I have that amount I will see to it that it will yield me a good profit, although we have a saying that you should not invest what you can't afford to lose there is still a way to make a profit by studying the market and check every pitfall, what I mean to say is, education and knowledge are what will make you safe from losing your investment.
5110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential of an altcoin on: February 10, 2021, 10:18:30 PM
Hi all, I would like to understand how to calculate the potential of an altcoin in order to understand when it is a good time to sell it.
In my specific case for example I bought INJ in December and now the profit is about 600% .
Should I compare INJ to an existing well established similar altcoin (if they exists) to understand its potential?
I know I should set in advance a price when starting to sell, but this could be 100%, 200% etc of profit but which to choose?

Thank you.

Based on my experienced I don't do that, you are going to lose a lot if you treat all altcoins the same way you treat one that has potential, each coin has its own roadmap and time to pump, maybe the coin have their platform ready but not ready for adoption and some coins gets pump even when the platform is still in the drawing board, get the majority reaction of the community and investors and you'll get an idea if it's worth to invest now.

5112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the Ethereum Gas Fee go down? on: February 10, 2021, 01:51:00 PM
I fully agree that rising gas charges have made many DeFi protocols virtually unusable in the future which could negatively impact the market price of Ethereum. Probably after the launch of EIP-1559 we will see a decrease in gas prices, but the exact launch date is not yet known.
I read that Vitalik Buterin supported this idea, but as I understand it, the miners themselves do not want this. I don't understand how this works, but clearly someone is preventing this from happening. https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/1318387259482066945
It's between the traders, holders, and developers against miners, of course, miners will not like this because right now it's very profitable for them because all Ethereum users are paying them a high fee, the high fee cannot go on like this, we'll see the migration of developers from other chains, and this will be the sign that other platforms will emerge to give Ethereum a run for their money.
5113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people follow Elon Musk? on: February 10, 2021, 11:23:49 AM
People follow him because he is the biggest man in cryptocurrency What he says happens. Is one of the people and when he speaks it is clear and easy.
He is a successful man in cryptocurrency The coin he talks about gets his price up. a few days ago he tweeted about dogecoin and check his price where are you. I think that's why people follow Elon Musk.

We are all following the guidance of successful people, and Elon Musk is the highly successful person that he is, many are looking and following what he is saying because tend to consider successful people as having a Midas touch, and since he is tweeting and making hype on DogeCoin, people think that DogeCoin will become the next big thing in the Cryptocurrency, I'm sure there will be more tweets promoting coins in the future, be sure to get a hint.
5114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The ADA moved the XRP to number 5 in the cryptocurrency capitalization rankings. on: February 09, 2021, 01:25:17 PM
Will we see further growth, or will everything stagnate at this point. Perhaps we should expect the return of the dark horse XRP?

It all depends on the update of the case, there is a possibility that Ripple will be out of the top 15 coins in the market, and go down to 10 cents, so far it's performing great in the market, but for how long one bad news and Ripple will stumble, they have shown resiliency, you can gamble on Ripple, and if they succeeded in their case, they will reach a new high and break their old-time records.
5115  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin eyes $50K less than a month after BTC price broke its 2017 all-time high on: February 09, 2021, 11:56:18 AM
Bitcoin’s (BTC) price broke through the crucial level at $35,000 and continued its run above $40,000 on Feb. 6, just days after MicroStrategy’s pitched Bitcoin to over 1,4000 companies.  READ THE COMPLETE ARTICLE HERE: https://worldpublicityblog.com/index.php/2021/02/08/bitcoin-eyes-50k-less-than-a-month-after-btc-price-broke-its-2017-all-time-high/

I just never imagined that this year will be this good I was hoping that January is a good month to break the old record and from there Bitcoin will move slowly but surely and we will end the year with Bitcoin at $50 k but now that price is within reach and we are only on the second of the month there are still a lot of great things that are going to happen this year, this is so far the most exciting year for all of us.
5116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Elon Musk shill for DOGE on: February 08, 2021, 01:42:06 PM
I think it's because DOGE is a based meme coin, so he's trolling for fun/joke only.

But well people is too serious about his tweet, so many peoples are take the advantages of the hype since they think Elon Musk (the richest person) is believe on DOGE.

Even if it is a meme coin it's a very stable coin with a huge community, and have created a huge impact in the community, there are only a few coins that's been around long like Dogecoin, it's a meme coin that finally got attention from the richest man in the world, I have not questioning Elon Musk intention Dogecoin is an underrated coin in the market, congratulations to those bag holders they finally realize profit.
5117  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long the Bitcoin Bull run continues on: February 06, 2021, 09:11:02 AM
If we compare market trend obviously it doesn't follow previous I mean 2017 bull run
Many investors are staying on hodling line as they say it could cross 150k$ 💵 which sounds unrealistic but honestly speaking it is possible as the increase in stablecoin demands like USDT is increasing day by day.
So, there is a possibility but not necessary. Some says 390k$ is an easy target for bitcoin to achieve. So,I believe on a long bull run. What are your thoughts?

That $390k is possible but we never know when this will materialize, but the market is doing great, and it will continue to be great all throughout the year, as long as many institutions are coming and continue to support the market and as long as we have big names like Elon Musk, tweeting and promoting any coins in the market will still continue to enjoy the bull run.
5118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Elon Musk Again & Again Tweet for Doge? on: February 06, 2021, 06:03:47 AM

There are some people think that if elon becomes one of the doge producers in the ascension, but in fact it is not true that doge has increased because there are special factors and elon musk is only one of the supporters. I think people think that if Elon Musk controls the doge it looks like they'll regret it later on because they don't know the real market

Can we say it's just a coincidence he still tweeting about Doge and since he is a powerful man being the richest man on Earth he can do anything, I believe he made an impact on his tweet and support of Doge, because if there's no other factor why Doge Coin increases then we can point this only to Elon Musk.
5119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH made me very Angry today on: February 06, 2021, 02:29:24 AM

There are basically so many tools you can use to estimate the gas price before you even decide you move or trade your assets such as https://ethgasstation.info/

Look at the current gas price for the traders. It's so high, even an insane person wouldn't think about trading right now

And yet the volume is still high, and the price is still good and in fact, moving upwards, with the current price of gas, whales are the ones making a lot of transaction here, you cannot trade your $100 and you get $20 worth of fee it's not logical, it's either you will sit it out and wait for the right time or lose because of the gas, I have a lot of altcoins sitting here because of the enormous fee.
5120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 600,000 DOGE Stolen - Please Help on: February 05, 2021, 11:11:02 PM
You can't get it back, the best thing that you can do to help yourself is moving on, thinking that or remembering always about this incident makes you feel bad and you will only blame yourself, this is really frustrating because of the price of DogeCoin right now, but that's the only way to solve this problem.
