5121  Other / Politics & Society / Could this be premeditated on: March 30, 2020, 10:15:25 AM
Yesterday it was reported that a group of scientists in China may have developed a nanomaterial that can combat and absorb the effect of Covid-19 on its victims, with a success rate of over 98%. I do not know how efficient it is or how true the information is, but If it's true, it's looking somewhat premeditated, like a "grand plan".

Quote
A team of Chinese scientists have reportedly developed a novel way to combat the new coronavirus COVID-19 disease which has killed over 32,000 people globally. According to a report by Global Times, the new weapon is not a drug or a compound but some nanomaterial...
"Chinese scientists have developed a new weapon to combat the #coronavirus," the news portal tweeted on Sunday. "They say they have found a nanomaterial that can absorb and deactivate the virus with 96.5-99.9 per cent efficiency," it added.

5122  Other / Politics & Society / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON MENTAL WELL-BEING on: March 29, 2020, 03:13:18 PM
The whole world is blind to the aftermath effect, both psychologically and mentally, we are going to face this aftermaths, but can we really worry about that now? When in some parts of the world over 700 people die in twenty four hours, when in over 200 countries of the world, this virus has "arrived" fully with its menace; the major concern now is: How to end all this: lockdowns, quarantines, shutting down businesses/borders, asking people to work from home, could there be a possible cure/vaccine etc, etc, etc; this is what all governments are focused on, to stop this and then..

In my country, they ask us to stay at home, no incentive, and yet the prices of what to buy and foodstuffs keep rocketing to the sky, it's crazy, crazy times we are in, we will surely need rehabilitation centers when this all ends. it's somewhat devastating, how would we return back to normal, with the fear of something even worse occurring sometime in the future, but for now what the priority is, is it's END.
5123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 29, 2020, 10:46:07 AM
And I believe if matches come back, they will be taken place in close stadiums, for safety.
They have not choice but to, whenever the league restarts this year, for the safety of all and to avoid starting another outbreak of the virus, the league should be completed behind close doors, there is about nine games to go, plus the little break the players will have before the start of the next season, then the stadiums can then be gradually opened to fans.

Precautionary measures I'm sure is going to be taken, the league would not rush anything, the government would not even allow them to, football brings thousands of people together, it can spread so easily in stadiums, the need for extra alertness and precautions.
5124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are having the difficult time, are you still a Bitcoin HODL? on: March 28, 2020, 03:27:42 PM
Of course those those that make money in BitCoin will try to always tell you to buy, but look at facts and BitCion PERFORMANCE, not what a bunch of people that want to make money are telling you.   Given BitCoins crash at the first sign of an Economic Crash, I would not put any money into it as the economic crisis is just going to get worse and last for many, many years.
There are no special bitcoin earners or bitcoin "money makers", it's a decentralized network, it is open for everyone to either buy, sell, trade or hold, bitcoin also doesn't employ individuals or group of persons as advertisers to motivate people to buy, users only give their opinions based on what they've experienced and what they feel is right for one to do, "the ball remains firmly stuck in your court".

Bitcoins price today is 6k+, there have been times the price was far lower than this, what crash are we then talking about at this moment, if there is an economic crisis, it affects major investments, that includes bitcoin, the stock markets, small and large scale businesses etc, if this economic crisis will last for many years as you've predicted, I will trust bitcoin more than the others, but that does not mean you should.
5125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 28, 2020, 01:39:25 PM
btw. How is real speculation about Ronaldo's moving to PSG?
I do not believe this speculation of Ronaldo leaving juventus for PSG, AFAIK Ronaldo is happy at juventus, and I really don't think all this speculations would have arisen if not for this corona virus pandemic that is really shaking Italy so much, the moment all this stops, I'm sure we'll see Ronaldo in a juventus shirt again.

Ronaldo is 33, it would not be easy task for PSG or any other club buying him for 70 million and more, and that's exactly the price range juventus would definitely be requesting for if any team shows interest in CR7.
5126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2 User apply in same campaign, it's bounty cheater? on: March 28, 2020, 01:02:22 PM
I want to ask, if there are 2 or many user is applying in same bounties but they don't get accepted by the campaign manager... Did that's case can be said as bounty cheater?
Yes, it is an attempt to cheat in the bounty, even if they were not accepted by the bounty manager, they had the intention to participate in the same bounty with two of their accounts, so it's cheating imo, if the two accounts had been accepted, I don't think they would have backed down from it.
5127  Other / Meta / Re: [Request] Any chance we can get an "Off-topic" board in Croatian local boards? on: March 28, 2020, 12:40:25 PM
We did request the same before on our Local board (Pilipinas) . What our previous mod did was stickied it on the top section. But later on it was unstickied but still we keep the topic Off-topic Pilipinas.
This suggestion is not bad all since it may take very long to get a separate off-topic board for the Croatia section, but I think many users would like to start their own off-topic threads, having to just post in one(thread)may create confusion, for example, how to/who decides when the previous topic discussed is over to start a new one, what if a user just brings up a new topic when people are still willing to continue the former discussion, it may create some confusion.

I think it's better to just leave all posts in the local board, the topics that are too trifling can be trashed, or the OP's adviced to post them in the forums off-topic board, until an off-topic section is created.
5128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 27, 2020, 06:42:37 PM
I doubt Manuel Neuer will move to Chelsea. He turned 34 yesterday. Supposedly he wants a new four-year contract, but Bayern is only offering three years. I am pretty sure that sooner or later they will find an agreement. As always, it's all about money. I honestly don't think he'll move to another club, especially not to a club like Chelsea. What do you guys think?
Chelsea need a new goalkeeper that's for sure, Arizabalaga hasn't done as expected, even before the league had to stop due to this corona virus pandemic, Caballero was preferred to him by Frank Lampard, that's to show their dissatisfaction with the young goalkeeper.

I thought Chelsea were at one point interested in Oblak? Or was it just rumors, Manuel Neuer for me is too old to move to Chelsea, the blues will want a younger keeper I'm sure, Neuer is world class, but they will need someone to solve their goalkeeping issues for the next 5 to 6 seasons, that's the only hinderance to the move imo and Neuer's decision also.
5129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: March 27, 2020, 06:20:09 PM
It is very easy for us to find good campaigns at the moment, just look for IEO projects in exchanges in this market
Finding it easy to see good bounty projects to invest in stopped a long time ago, that should be in 2017, this time is even the most difficult time to find a good one due to the panic this virus is creating in the industry, the scammers have even taken the advantage to create what they call corona virus coin, if you choose a bounty without research, you are going to be scammed for sure.
Are all the bounties that you mentioned above really safe to follow? Are they really going to pay bounty participants and will provide many benefits?
OP can't be sure of that as he doesn't work directly with any of those projects imo, the post is just a guide to help bounty hunters and investors choose from bounty projects that based on his research should(may)deliver on their promises.
5130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: March 27, 2020, 04:48:30 PM
The panic could have destroyed the entire crypto industry, but investors came to their senses in time.
I don't believe things have gotten close to being this worse, the panic never got to that stage and I don't know if it's the fear of the virus or the fear of people losing their investments, but many users are making the fear of the corona virus look cryptocurrency related, this is a deadly virus that is slowing down economic growth everywhere in the world, bitcoin and cryptocurrencies have also been affected; making it look like cryptocurrencies were hit worse is what's causing this whole panic.
works from home only limited and not all people has offered and government support is not enough for them to feed family.
My government as insensitive as they are, keep telling us to stay at home, yet no support from them whatsoever, I've been at home for a long time now with restricted movements, but I can't just start selling my assets now, I'd rather spend my fiat I've saved up in the bank and my other reserve cash, selling my bitcoins for me is a last resort.
5131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 27, 2020, 09:59:24 AM
But why did they have to wait till he joined Dortmund?
Making him a more expensive prospect for them, if Dortmund are ever going to sell Haaland to Madrid, it would be double or even close to triple of what they bought him for, he now has a contract with them, he is performing excellently, if they are going to let go, they will have to make up with the money they'll be getting, Haaland going to Madrid for me is not happening anytime soon.
It doesn't look like real Madrid will give up on jovic so soon, he cost them 65m
I don't also think so, that's what gives me the impression that this Haaland link is just a rumor, Benzema is still above jovic in the pecking order, giving him little chance to shine, if they are to get Haaland, they will have to sell Jovic and he'll be sold for a lower price than he was bought as his performances have dropped. And who's sure the same fate would not befall Haaland if he comes.
5132  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fake Corona Anti-virus software on: March 26, 2020, 12:43:24 PM
There are a lot of individuals who only know that there is a virus spreading all over the world by the name corona virus, they know nothing more about it, neither have have they read anything on what sort of virus it is, how it can be transmitted, the preventive measures and other whatnots, this group of people are the ignorant ones and though it's hard to believe, they are actually the ones that can fall this kind of scam, they are only driven by the fear of the virus, that fear can make them download this and lose a lot.
5133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Paranoid about anonymity on: March 26, 2020, 12:15:28 PM
You wouldn't be doing anything illegal, that is understandable, but others will, they'll try to steal from you, take your coins, steal your information, pose with your identity and they can only be successful in all these if you are careless about your anonymity, if you care less about your privacy and present your personal data to them all because you feel you have nothing to worry about, afterall doing nothing illegal, are you?

Privacy and anonymity is so important in this modern world, even your phones, computers and other electronic gadgets are no longer devices you just alow anyone operate without bothering, there are certain information that should remain with you and just you alone, your private keys for example, would you make it available for others to see, just because you're a "clean guy"? You'll lose everything you have in that wallet if you do so.
5134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 26, 2020, 11:51:12 AM
I think we’ll know within 4-6 weeks if it’s likely that the season will finish. PL officials did say that there would be an ‘indefinite extension’ which points towards the season definitely being finished regardless of timescale.
The premier league calender for next season would definitely be affected by all this, next season ought to begin in August, and it'll be a miracle for us to restart this season in May or June to maybe give time for that. Things are not getting any better around the world, the league i must confess is the last thing on the minds of a lot of people right now. If we are going to finish all matches left this season, 2020/2021 season could begin in the last three months of this year. Football tournaments all over the world is going to take a major shift from what we have become accustomed to, that's for sure.
5135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin current situation on: March 25, 2020, 06:01:13 PM
These days many people are scared because they think lose their money with bitcoin because of the price falling down.
The price of bitcoin is not "falling down", after the corona virus scare that led to a crash in price two weeks ago, the price has been stable between 6k-6800, and that is not bad imo, the likelihood of losing money is constant/permanent in bitcoin investment, and every investor should know that.
2. But in the other hand some other people, unfortunately,  using the money from dad/mom/loan/... Also they want to get the profit in short term..
They should not/never have invested with money to be repaid(loaned/borrowed), only if they are new investors, only then can they claim not to know that.
5136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: March 25, 2020, 05:15:13 PM
My prediction, and too bad Spurs got knocked out already ;( is that all the clubs will be able to play full strength teams all healthy,,, but not all match fit. So we might be seeing full squads but the football will not be very nice to watch when it all restarts again.
Not nice at all, not just that they wouldn't be fit physically, they would not also be fit mentally and psychologically, everything happening is a huge psychological blow for everyone, seeing people in your beloved country dying, even some of their teammates have tested positive to the virus, it's not easy to put your kits on and start playing again, it'll take long to get the right rhythm and flow for the beautiful game again.

Whenever football resumes, it's going to be a bitter sweet reaction from fans and players all over the world, it'll increase unity and love though, this whole scenario has had a lot to teach us.
5137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers don't trap victims with too good offers anymore on: March 25, 2020, 04:26:23 PM
Some scammers do guarantee more profits than this I know and it then comes out to the investors as being ridiculous and should be a scam, but even when the offer looks realizable, even if it's less than 1% profit daily that you are being guaranteed, it is still a scam. I am not going to call the scammers smart in this situation even, it's the investors who want to trade and make money but don't want to learn how to trade for themselves.
also they can often see investment business  in which they can easily dtermined if it was fake or legit  but not really anymore now that scammers have a new plans    .
It is still easy to detect this moves this scammers make, it would be difficult for only users concerned with just profit making, scammers can easily deceive them without much trickery.
5138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 24, 2020, 06:04:45 PM
It looks like that Philippe Coutinho might move to an English club. At least Bayern won't active his release clause, also FC Barcelona isn't interested in taking him back. What do you think, which Premier League clubs might be interested? Manchester United? Chelsea? Nevertheless, I doubt that any club will pay the astronomical price that Barcelona is calling.
It's actually a shame when you look at how well his former club Liverpool have been doing since his exit, they have won the Uefa champions league and are also going to win the English premier league when the league resumes, he on the other hand has had a very difficult time since he left, failed at Barcelona and didn't do too well at Bayern, for now it was a wrong move for him.

Coutinho could be a good inclusion in the Chelsea team, he could play their style in my opinion, as they play a very direct type of football, the problem now is how much money do they have to bring out to buy him, would they want to do that?
5139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIRDROP WALLET That support multiple cryptocurrencies. on: March 24, 2020, 11:58:31 AM
If you want a wallet that mostly hold token and coin. I think you can use an exchange wallet, since some of you mentioned arent tokens and only exchange can support a multiple support for this. Binance could be a good choice.
OP has mentioned different coins/tokens that he wants to store, even if it's an exchange wallet that can possibly store them all in one, it is still a dreadful idea for anyone to do, no need to state in this post why it is, just use the search function to read about exchange hacks and how much has been lost to understand for yourself.

Mk4's suggestion is the best option for OP, maybe it could pose trouble keeping all the private keys of the different wallets, but it's better than not being in control of them at all.
5140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoters still have a place on crypto world on: March 24, 2020, 08:12:34 AM
More than 50% of bounty hunters who use social media as their tool, have accounts created just for that. Meaning they're mostly spam accounts which no one cares about, no one retweets, no one views. And as such is worthless.
And that just amounts to paying promoters for publicity/awareness and getting none of that, this bounty hunters just want to get paid, even if they find for themselves the scapiest means to not do anything but still get paid they will do that, this act does not encourage projects to still follow this means of promotion as they are paying for nothing.

But the truth remains that no matter what happens the role promoters play in this network will always be needed,  except a project doesn't want to grow, then they can do without promotions, it has its imperfections but it remains perfect for growth.
