5121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: June 25, 2016, 01:44:42 PM
Investing in something is always good and with the nice future of the casino's that are using the bitcoin it is really worth it.
I really think it could be profitable depending on the casino of course.
But it all depends on the casinos and it's users if the casino has a good reputation and more users then it is best to invest there. But not in some noob and new casinos which can lead you to bankrupt too !

but don't forget that it is still risky even if you are investing in a reputable and old casino. because it is gambling and it means users can still win if the system is fair. and users winning means the house and you are a share holder will also lose.
and it has happened many times if you check out their history.

5125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: June 25, 2016, 01:26:54 PM
I use a lot of strategy while betting on dice. But, I prefer to hunt high payout like 9900x. I was lucky once couple months ago. I hit 9900x five times at primedice but all was from faucet. I still huntinhg it till now. Hopefuly will hit again soon!

i tried some of these high multipliers for a while but i had no chance in it. also it is not really productive because i was nearly losing my mind over it because you have to keep claiming the faucet which is 200 satoshi by the way and then keep seeing all red rolls indefinitely which is hard thing to do.
5126  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coindesk/This world is scary! on: June 25, 2016, 01:22:19 PM
it the world of open source where everything is also available online for free they want to sell an "e-book" for a ridiculously high price.

5127  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm All In - Sold My House! on: June 25, 2016, 01:03:26 PM
That took some balls!  You'll make a fortune if you HODL.
I would also never be able to sell my house for some Bitcoins I do not know how he pulled it off be he sure has some balls. Investing in Bitcoin is a risk but he is even taking a risk on top of that by selling of his house.

Yes especially because land never depreciates so that house most likely would grow in more value than the bitcoins did... You didnt make a mistake but i would never do what you just did my good sir.

Yeah me either i couldnt imagine going that deep into investing into btc it's too crazy the highs and lows because you just have no guarantee that you'll make money in the end but with the halving coming up i dont think it was dumb.

although this topic is only created to troll us but i have seen crazy people like this in my life. there actually are some people who will sell all their belongings like even their home in order to make an investment; sometimes it is successful and they become super rich but most of the time these kinds of people will end up broke.
5128  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: June 25, 2016, 12:59:48 PM
Does anyone have any idea how many people are using gold as a store of value vs btc?  And how long do you think until we have the same user Base as holders of gold?
Keeping Bitcoins may be more profitable in the long term to keep gold.
I do not think we have informations on the number of people using the Bitcoin or gold as an investment, but I think that looking at the number of member of a Bitcoin exchange website, we can have an idea of it.

the users of gold are much more in number than the users of bitcoin the reason is that gold is centuries older while bitcoin is only a few years older, with the passage of time when we support bitcoin more people will start to invest in bitcoin.

also gold has a physical form which anybody even those who are computer (technology) illiterate can understand it and trust it enough to invest in it. but since bitcoin is only a digital currency with no physical form it is a little harder to understand and trust especially for those old timer investors.
5129  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: June 25, 2016, 12:53:18 PM
Kids can maybe earn it with just playing games or something, I must say its pretty hard to find something that you can let them enjoy and learn(earn).

I don't think kids would be interested in earning at this stage, they will prefer to enjoy their lives with no complications at initial stage, and off course parents should not force them to earn money.
Of course kids in today's generation will be willing to earn money. Every kids thinks about being self dependent. If not also they will be motivated if they earn for themselves where bitcoin will helps such kids in greater levels.

yeah but it is going to depend on the kind of job you are going to teach them to have on the internet. for example if your kids are planning on using faucets or other crappy ways to earn bitcoin online or even use some scammy ways of earning like ponzi schemes then that is worst than not doing anything. and they are better off staying away from bitcoin.
5130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: June 25, 2016, 12:49:08 PM
Teaching someone about the bitcoin is not a easy task and I think if you really want to do this we should just think good about the explaining.
The best thing is to start with the advantages of the bitcoin itself to attract them.

Will not be really easy if the person you are teaching have no background in online jobs and specially with a computer and internet. But if he or she at least have 1 of those then it will be an easy task to do

If a person has computer and internet just ask him/ her to google bitcoins and watch video and tutorials on youtube. It can really help to understand.

if that person is a friend or someone close to you it is so much better if you introduce bitcoin to them yourself. because learning is always so much easier when you learn it from someone face to face rather than reading on the internet or even watching a video.
5131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase has partnered with Paypal - Officially! on: June 24, 2016, 06:21:02 AM
......
Hi, thank you for the information that you have shared. I just want to clear something, is coinbased same as coins.ph? Where is their office located or who is its founder. I hope you can share me some info regarding coin base.  Do you think that the partnership of Coinbase and Paypal will increase the value of bitcoins? I haven't used paypal yet because there are a lot of requirements in making an account in it so I find it inconvenient that is why I decided to us bitcoins.

you can find all that information by doing a quick googling: https://www.google.com/search?q=coinbase
they are a US based service with office at San Francisco, CA you can find their information on their about page.

and i have to say this "partnership" if you can even call it a partnership, is good but i don't think it can affect bitcoin price at all.
5132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to turn my BTC into USd on BTC-E or Kraken? on: June 24, 2016, 06:14:42 AM
for paypal you can sell to someone with good reputation who you may find on the forum (currency exchange board) or on localbitcoin for paypal or bank but it would be risky to sell for paypal because of charge-back.

also btc-e doesn't have all those headaches and have many other online (fiat) wallets to cash out to.
5133  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 24, 2016, 06:08:52 AM
I think the majority of my investment will go in gold and some part of it will invest in bitcoin as bitcoin can give us good returns in short term even with a small investment if price reaches to the moon in future.

Base on what I know investment in gold requires a good capital to make profit but with bitcoins you can start with small amount and if you know how to maximize your profit you will earn unlimited amount, the room for growth in bitcoins is really big so this is a good chance for investors.

you still can buy gold with small amount of money too, it doesn't really require a huge investment to begin with but the amount of initial investment is not as small as bitcoin, you can really buy bitcoin with stupidly small amounts.
5134  Economy / Economics / Re: Soo, I'm planning on buying €1000 in bitcoins. Yes or no? on: June 24, 2016, 06:05:29 AM
For me, this is kind of a huge investment, but should I actually do it?

What are the risks of doing this?

if you have bought it yesterday the price is already more than $100 up so you could earn $100 for each coin that you have bought only in one day but also if you have bought bitcoin a little while back above $700 you could have lose as much too.

so it is important to understand the risks and if you can accept those risks and speculate the future of price bitcoin is a very good investment.
5135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 2000 $ possible ? on: June 24, 2016, 06:02:31 AM
Do you think bitcoin can reach 2000$ + ? this year ?

Last 2 years , people used bitcoin to buy some shitcoins (trying to find the btc 2.0) , and this year may be they understood that btc remains the king !

do you think we can have 2000 usd + ?

it is hard to say if we can reach $2000+ this year or not at this point. we have to wait and see how things are going to be like after the halving then say anything for sure about the ATH this year but reaching $2000 for bitcoin is possible in longer times that much is for sure.
5136  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins price Fall down has just started. on: June 24, 2016, 05:54:30 AM
What you can say about this sudden price falldown of bitcoins price?

Is this the end of halving? Or just someone manipulating its price? because i see many people started to sell their beloved hodl coins and if massive selling will continues surely bitcoin will drop for more and we might see 300$+ again.

you have no faith in bitcoin at all Smiley $300!!! really?!!

the price has already been reversed and it has gone up $100+ already but even if the dump continues and price keeps going down there is no way to break the $500 resistance and go anymore below it.

you seem to forget we were so stable above $400 and not even Hearn FUD could lower the price for long time back then.
5137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trusted to put your real money on: June 24, 2016, 05:49:36 AM
If it is trusted and not going to die i think 80% of my money put in bitcoin because i as of now i only have few bitcoin but i see the potential that i give us wealth if we handle this carefully.
Is not between trusted or not, but a lot of people want to put all of their money on bitcoin because it's have a various usefulness. I saw some people became a rich person from this. but exactly with your statement need to handle this carefully.

well bitcoin is risky if you want to use it as an investment and it has already been proven that the risks are high if you don't know anything about the price movements and have to experience in the matter. but if you are planning to use bitcoin as it was meant to be used meaning as a currency, then it is trusted and completely good idea to do it regardless of the price.
5138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: June 24, 2016, 05:45:40 AM
Its better to invest mate..casinos, are made to earn money, not give money..it is designed for that.Tongue

Indeed the fact is that they will not exist if it was not profitable, investing is the best you can do and you can also make a lot of money with it by the way.

the problem with investing bitcoin is that most of the people here are doing it just like the way they gamble. which means they only invest in something and hope for the best by taking not-calculated risks, even they put money in ponzi schemes and call it investment.
5139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: June 24, 2016, 05:38:51 AM
Angry Sad i dont think so gambling can be profitable for long run  Huh because i have tested several strategies for a long run with a base bet of 1 sataoshi even but every time busted so i dont think so its profitable, another reason is this that our lucky is not 100% every day our luck also rise and fall like a btc price  Grin so gambling cant be profitable for a long run Smiley

it depends on your luck as the first criteria to be profitable or not, you can be lucky and win a lot or unlucky and lose a lot more.

also as a second criteria it depends on the game that you play, if you are in a disadvantage for example because of the house edge,... you can't profit in the long run. and in some games like poker if you are good at it you can make profit but that would also be hard.
5140  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get 1 btc? on: June 24, 2016, 05:31:33 AM
is it a easy way to get one bitcoin for free Huh
i'm just wondering.

you have no idea what you are talking about, you want an easy way to get 1 bitcoin = $650 and for free you don't need to wonder there is no way to do it. even if there was a way nobody would have shared it with you because they would use it until they are millionaires themselves Cheesy
