5121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid when the market is slowly going down? (Crypto Crash) on: October 04, 2018, 08:09:02 PM
There is actually nothing to be afraid of or panic about seeing the market go down. Just keep in mind that, as the price starts to go down, it also starts to open doors for new investors to enter the market. This thus will cause more people to buy bitcoin and will cause the price to go back up again and reach another new all time high record. The process is true for every case. And you can also take advantage of the temporary dip by investing as much as you can to maximize your profit.
5122  Economy / Economics / Re: Apart from trading where else to use crypto? on: October 04, 2018, 08:05:08 PM
Trading is not the only place to use crypto currencies. Though the adoption of bitcoin and other crypto currencies are slow and most of the merchants don't accept crypto currencies, there are still loads of online sites out there that accepts crypto currencies. You can spend it to buy goods from amazon or other major retail store indirectly buy buying gift cards from those sites that accept crypto currencies. Bitcoin is still new. Just give it more time and then people will start accepting it as a mainstream form of online currency.
5123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge is needed on: October 04, 2018, 07:52:26 PM
True, you will need some knowledge before investing on crypto currencies. You will need to know how the market works and how the price are co-related with different aspects of an event taking place. This will help you to better prepare yourself when the prices starts to rise or drop drastically. Having no knowledge about the market will most of the time cause investors to lose tons of money. So better learn about the system before using it.
5124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC to airdrops is it good? on: October 04, 2018, 07:38:02 PM
I have come across KYC in other business areas before and believe me this is just a necessary measure. As for Airdrop, then of course you understand that you can create many different wallets and accounts for this business and just collect a free distribution and make money on it, but many programs don’t need traffic, all the more unique. Thanks to KYC, you can remove all fake accounts or bots, thereby saving money for real participants. And if we talk about serious programs, then there will definitely need KYC, since most likely it will already be a requirement of regulators and without this it will not be possible to take part.
The original post is saying that filling KYC form is not actually worth it for airdrops. I do agree with it. Airdrops are the coins that are given away for free to people. Usually the values of those coins ends up being extremely low as people dumps them after receiving it. Thus giving out your personal information for those few coins is not worth the risk. If the coin turns out to be a scam, they can sell your identification.
5125  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Bitcoin bullrun this year. on: October 04, 2018, 06:58:13 PM
Has the year already completed? There are 3 months more to go. BTC needs only one week hit another ATH, for your info. I think it will have happened in mid-December. Lost of potential investors are waiting for entering into the market.
Do you think it is actually a good thing for the crypto market to have a huge price jump within just 1 week? I don't think so. People will end up thinking that the price is being manipulated, a bubble is happening and is going to burst soon etc. FUDs starts to spread very badly and thus people also starts to panic as they do not know where they are heading. I would prefer slow and stable rise rather.
5126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After 2018 slump, Will bounties Die now ? on: October 03, 2018, 09:03:31 PM
I haven't joined bounties in 2017 but in 2018. And there is not much in them now.

Alot of bounty hunters saying that this has been the worst year and it was much better in 2017 and the problem is the number of participants has increased big time and because of that there is nothing much left in bounties now.

Is it true ? and if it is then the participants are going to grow even more in the coming years so that means the bounties will drop further. And if this happens then what will be the future of the bounty hunters and with that what will be the future of cryptos ?
The values are being lost not because of lots of people joining the bounty program. It is because most of the bounty you are joining are actually the one that are not being successful or failing to deliver what they promised. Anyways, we might not actually be seeing any such bounty programs any more since people might end up losing interest due to increasing amount of scammy projects.
5127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your HODL motivation on: October 03, 2018, 08:40:09 PM
Alright here is the real truth - The profits we will be getting by holding our investment in crypto currencies is what that is motivating us to hold on to our crypto currencies. You might be saying I am generalizing everyone, but this is actually true. Almost everyone is in this just for the pure "crazy" profit. There are just few people (compared to ones who are here for profit) who are actually into it for the technology.
5128  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Many cryptocurrency exchanges are vulnerable to breaches. on: October 03, 2018, 03:03:57 PM
ICO Scams have become quite common these days. So the members of the crypto community have to double safe about their funds so that their funds are not lost in such stupid and fraudulent scams. These scams owe their origin to lack of regulations and rules in various countries. There are many countries where crypto market is not being regulated. So it has become really important for the investors to be double secure for their investment.
Did you even read the original post? Or at least the title. The title clearly states what the post is about and you just blindly posted how ICOs scam people? If you want to contribute, at least post something on-topic.

No matter how much secure or how high rating their security is, you should never be storing any kinds of coin in an exchange wallet for a long term. Exchanges no matter how secure they are, are still vulnerable to hacks  in one way or the other.
5129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Big Successful ICO Coins Price are sinking? on: October 03, 2018, 02:55:18 PM
What's going on with big successful ICO projects? Big Successful Projects like Pumapay, HDAC, Cryptosolartech, Bankex. Look at their coin price, every coin price is like nothing and their trading volume is too low! Pumapay raised 117 Million USD, but their trading volume less than 2 Million USD and coin price are just ridiculous. HDAC, Such a promising Project it was, but HDAC ico investors are lost their investment, ICO price was 1.25 USD per HDAC Coin and now it's trading with 0.037 USD! Seriously? And the same thing happened with Bankex, Cryptosolartech. But Why? What is the reason behind it?
This is one of the reasons why I consider ICOs as a terrible investment (just my opinion). No matter how much successful or blooming the ICO project may seem initially, the aftermath most of the times end up being a disaster. Like you said, extremely low trade volume and ridiculously low price compared to ICO price. That's is why, just stick with trending and well known crypto currencies like bitcoin and ethereum.
5130  Economy / Speculation / Re: I never held this much bitcoins. on: October 03, 2018, 02:34:14 PM
I jus dump half my investment from stocks into btc. Now I'm fully invested in bitcoin. Before I had invested in bch and it dumped. While I converted to fiat. Long story but I'm still alive after the ath 19k n buying the dip. I thought it was going to 4k. But i guess its a good time to buy now. Best of luck.
You did a good thing to be honest, but entered the market at the wrong time. I am sure you were aware of the risks you would be facing and knew the consequences. Hope you didn't end up dumping the coins. And yeah, now is actually the best time to invest on crypto currencies. The prices are kinda stable right now. So we can hope for a price rise soon enough.
5131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits of gambling? Yes - it exists! on: September 29, 2018, 12:51:38 PM
The advantage of gambling will be less than the disadvantage of gambling itself because we risk our money in all the games we played without any guarantee to get it back or to recover the losses. We still can play gambling, but we cannot get any benefits from gambling except losing the money, so we need to careful to spend the money in the gambling games carefully.
You will have to risk in order to win something. You gain nothing if you are not willing to risk. And it is not true that you can not make any thing, that you will loose everything if you gamble. Gamble is something related to luck. If you are lucky and gamble responsibly, you can will be making something out of it. I have seen people win a lot of money and never ever came back. You just need to know when to stop.
5132  Economy / Economics / Re: How will the SEC affect the market after on September 30? on: September 29, 2018, 12:32:41 PM
I thought i read somewhere that the SEC decision has been delayed and will take time till February 2019. Might be wrong though. But anyways, I don't think there would be a huge price spike after the decision. Even if there is, it is going to be short lived. People will usually stock up before the decision is taken, which might cause a small rise, but then most of the people will end up selling as soon as a decision has been given, may it be positive or negative to cash in their profit from the small price rise.
5133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: In 10 years 20$ will turn 100k on: September 29, 2018, 12:25:56 PM
10 years time in crypto currencies . 20$ will become at least 100k?
Rn I'm holding tron, and eos 20$ and ontology 10$ airdrop. I don't plan on moving it around cus its nothing to me. I'll wait it out 10 years.
And how did you come to a conclusion that your $20 investment will become $100k in ten years? Just some random numbers you had to spit out to feel good? This is not actually right. Your $20 investment can end up being $1 or less than few cents. You never know. If you are so confident about your prediction, why not invest more and become a billionaire in the future?
5134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin new year predictions... I want to invest... on: September 29, 2018, 11:57:46 AM
I've some money to invest and I need ideas... what do you think about future? Which altcoin will be the next year surprise and why?... I know this is like trying to predict future but could you try to give me a guess  Wink
Future price of crypto currency is something no one can predict. All they can do is give some wild guess or speculations based on previous market behaviour. But again, the chances that the speculations will be true is actually very small. If every prediction people gave came out to be true, then every one would have been rich (or not since this might also alter the future).
The best thing to do is find out some selected coins. Filter out those that you think are just typical shit coins. Invest on the rest which you think has potential to grow. Do you own analysis. You will just get biased answers from people. Try investing on top trending coins and coins that are currently being discussed such as XRP.
5135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money off cryptocurrency? on: September 29, 2018, 11:32:55 AM
The best way to make money off crypto currencies is by holding it for long term. Buy those coins when they are cheap and going to a dip. Keep holding them for a long term and then sell them off. You will be making profit with less risk (assuming you did not invest on any kind of shit coins) since in the long run the price of the coins are bound to increase.
5136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL is not advisable! on: September 28, 2018, 06:19:15 PM
What you wrote is totally stupid. Who told you that those who hold crypto currencies does not know how to trade? People hold crypto currencies as a long term invest. Trading is whole different thing. Trading is associated with high risk and you will need to keep yourself updated about the market 24/7. Where as, holding is less risky (assuming its a top currency, not some random shit coin) since it in the long run the price will eventually increase.
5137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is independent? or depends on fiat currency on: September 28, 2018, 06:13:09 PM
Bitcoin is actually independent. Just measuring its value using the USD or any other equivalent fiat currency does not mean that bitcoin started to dependent on fiat. We are just using the fiat as a reference frame in order to evaluate its value, just so that we can make things more simple.   This is just the same as evaluating the value of Euro with the help of USD.
5138  Economy / Economics / Re: WORLD CRISIS IN 2018 on: September 28, 2018, 05:24:23 PM
We do not actually know whats going to happen during a global recessions. Times during crisis might give us unexpected result. Remember, everyone will be in indeterminate  and confused state. So, what will happen during that period depends on what people decide during the exact moment. During world crisis, there will be less job, less employment, less money flow, inflation etc. This might cause people trouble buying bitcoin. Again, we might see people using bitcoin as a currency, the way it was meant to be used.
5139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Three things you should not do when Bitcoin prices drop! on: September 28, 2018, 05:02:40 PM
When the price of bitcoin falls, then you should not panic and keep monitoring price movements and actively look at factors that can affect price movements, and most importantly, keep holding patiently, do not sell if you have not yet benefited. That's what should be done when the price of bitcoin goes down, because we must continue to believe that bitcoin remains strong and is still the king of crypto, bitcoin will definitely rise again and we will always get profit through bitcoin investment, always be patient without obeying emotions.
So are saying that we should not panic but keep looking at the charts/price movements? Do you really think look at the price will help you not to panic? Instead just starting at the price will act as a catalyst to increase your anxiety and make you more nervous. The best thing to do is just stay away from the market for a while. Sit back and relax. Just check in after few days a week.
5140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will survive in long run Bitcoin or Blockchain??? on: September 28, 2018, 01:59:33 PM
Everyone on this forum is familiar with Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. So no need to discuss what they are except this; Bitcoin is first or we can say father of digital currency world and Blockchain is new revolution in digital technology world.
Currently market is down after a golden run and every day millions of people came to know about this new market and its uses. Some with negative views and some advocate it.Many country allowed crypto trading and many banned because of speculations and scams. There is lots of media attention about Bitcoin since its evolution and then its price rise. Many called Bitcoin a shit/fraud/scam when first it came into light but within 7-8years it touched $20000 per coin.
On other hand many new Altcoins like ETH, Ripple etc. also gain popularity and boost the need of blockchain in every filed. Now from media news and discussion on many forum I came to conclusion that everyone(Govt. big business houses) wants to adopt Blockchain technology but same time they are either opposing or banning Bitcoin and its uses.So my question is will Bitcoin survive or fall???What will happen if every country launch their own crypto currency using Blockchain technology???Will Bitcoin disappear???Please share your views/opinions and experience.
Why do people keep asking the same question every time? The answer has always been a big "NO". We all know what is going to happen when a country launches its own crypto currency. It won't be decentralized. It won't have any anonymity features. It will same as fiat but more like "digital fiat". Bitcoin won't be disappearing anytime soon as long as people are using it.
