What an interesting game it was in the KNVB Beker finale! Ajax scored and got ahead first by 1-0. But it was really interesting to witness that PSV scored two goals by a gap of two minutes only (48', 50'). And the game ended up with PSV's 2-1 lead also. They are the champions of this tournament and it must be feeling good for them to achieve at least one title this season. Actually it is two for PSV as they won the Super Cup by demolishing Ajax 4-0 also. But it is doubtful whether they can complete it to three by the Eredivisie title as well.

The West Ham - Burnley game was really interesting today by the way. Burnley got ahead first and they were even almost making the score 2-0 if they didn't miss that penalty. West Ham hardly managed to equalize the score in the 74th minute and it ended up with a 1-1 draw. Burnley had only one shot on target which ended up with a goal. And West Ham scored only once despite playing quite effectively. But I should have understood by the odds of this game how much interesting it could have been.

Yeah it was definitely an expected victory for Chelsea today. Crystal Palace were not a that much serious opponent for them normally. Maybe this was an FA Cup game and things would have been a little more different. But it wasn't the case either as Chelsea won the game comfortably by 2-0. But Liverpool did a really great work by destroying Manchester City in a very challenging game by 3-2. I see them as the closer side to win the FA Cup title also already now. But we will see how things go then. If Liverpool have a tight schedule, then Chelsea would have a bigger chance.

It was just an incredible performance by Real Madrid. I wouldn't like to say that Sevilla were bad as they got 2-0 ahead in the first place. But the second half was completely different. It is much harder to turn the game around in a situation like this. As Sevilla were a really tough team to do this against, I wasn't thinking like Real Madrid would make it. But they somehow did it and won by 3-2 away. Benzema scored a goal again and it was the goal that brought three points to his team at the same time. Great work by him and the team here!

Villarreal are really on fire these days and they didn't make any mistake in their league game against Getafe also. After this victory, they have closed in on Real Sociedad by two more points. And the 6-point gap is not difficult to close for Villarreal also. There is still time for that. They are just an amazing team this season as we see them in the semi finals of the Champions League also.

It was a really surprising day for all of us I guess. Because not only Tottenham but also Arsenal lost their league games. After seeing the result of the Tottenham - Brighton game, I would have waited for Arsenal to play more eager to win. But they still couldn't even score one goal and lost with a 1-0 score. Arsenal really feel the absence of a good striker these days especially. I hope they can sign a good one this summer.

For the draw between Liverpool and Villarreal, I believe that Liverpool are very close to advancing to final round in the Champions League. Villarreal might not be that strong against them this time. Or I can put it this way: Liverpool would dominate the game in Anfield for certain. But as for the game in Spain, Villarreal would show a strong performance against them and wouldn't lose easily.

Fenerbahçe son zamanlarda çok iyi gidiyor belki ama artık işin işten geçtiğini düşünüyorum. Bir muclze gerçekleşmezse Trabzonspor yıllar sonra şampiyon olacak ligde. Ama tabi şu ana kadar gösterdikleri genel performans da etkileyiciydi. Son haftalarda sıkıntı çekmeye başladılar ama adım adım zafere ilerliyorlar.

It would be better for Manchester United to have a solid and dynamic striker next season. So it is a good choice to let Cavani go this summer. If they manage to sign a top striker, then things can start going on better for them in terms of scoring multiple goals in a game. But they need to solve the defense problem as well. I don't think that Maguire will be their first choice next season. They would look for a better defender who is much more credible than him.

There was no winner at the end of the Real Sociedad - Betis game. It was not a solid game either as the final score was 0-0. Things are still good for Betis as they haven't lost the fifth position. However they might fall behind the team at the fourth position more by this week. They will just hope for Atletico Madrid to lose points as well. But it doesn't feel like they will as they are going to focus fully on the La Liga from now on.

It isn't a tough game for Tottenham at all. Brighton defeated Arsenal maybe but I don't expect them to maintain a win streak now. They already have no target in the rest of the season and their performance in the recent times has been just terrible. I still don't know how they even defeated Arsenal. Anyway, Tottenham are very close to winning this game already now. I expect no mistakes to be made. Kane and Son would continue from where they left.

Evet Galatasaray son yıllarda Avrupa kupalarında en çok görmeye alıştığımız takım diyebiliriz herhalde. Ancak bu kadar berbat bir lig performansı yüzünden gelinen nokta da burası işte ne yazık ki. Ama önümüzdeki sezona sağlam hazırlanıp güzel bir sezon geçirirlerse Avrupa kupalarına iyi bir dönüş yapabilirler. Bu kupalara ne kadar çok takım gönderebilirsek o kadar iyi bizim için. Ama son kontenjan durumları pek de iyi değil.

Manchester City are still in a more advantageous situation in the league now. They are still in the lead and have a gap of one point with Liverpool. It means that there is no other way for them rather than continuing to win their league games. But they still have tough games ahead. Liverpool maintain their chance for the championship but they also mustn't get any draw or loss. Unless they give up, Manchester City will be under pressure a lot.

Manchester City - Real Madrid is going to be the toughest matchup in the semi finals I think. It is not much different than a final game in the Champions League. Honestly, Real Madrid have impressed me much more so far. As long as they have Benzema, they are always going to be one of the biggest contenders for the title. Manchester City defenders will have a big responsibility to defend him. And he is not only carrying the team by himself of course. I really like their game as a team.

There are Fenerbahce - Goztepe and Konyaspor - Gaziantep games on this week. And both of these games are going to be important for the rivalry to have the second spot in the standings. Fenerbahce have a good advantage now and it looks like they can maintain this by this week too. I don't think that Fenerbahce would lose any points against Goztepe. And I expect the same for Konyaspor too.

La Liga'da sadece birkaç gün içerisinde güzel bir maça şahit olacağız. Sevilla sahasında lig lideri olan Real Madrid'i ağırlayacak. Ben bu maçın çok dişli geçmesini bekliyorum ve Real Madrid'in puan kaybetmesi de kuvvetle muhtemel. Aralarındaki ligde oynanan en son maçı sizlere hatırlatmak isterim. Real Madrid 1-0 geriye düştüğü maçı zar zor çevirerek 2-1 kazanmıştı kendi sahasında. Bence buradaki maçta olası bir beraberlik şaşırtıcı olmaz. Zaten Real Madrid'in kafası rahat olduğu için en az bir puan onlar için de yeterli olur bence.
