5121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I accept Bitcoin for payments on my online store? on: November 07, 2020, 05:46:19 AM
It is a good idea but consider first your customers if they know about bitcoin and other cryptos. This is good as a secondary form of payment. If your traditional customers get curious about it and they found out it's convenient to use then slowly they will adapt to it. It's a win-win situation for you.
5122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling could be used to pay for covid problems on: November 07, 2020, 03:36:21 AM
What do you think ?

If they are really out of funds for covid then so be it. But some countries have tons of funds and the government says they have no money anymore. Corrupt officials are getting richer and richer because of this pandemic while covid cases in their country are continuously growing.

Is this essential?

No

Would it affect the online casinos?

Yes, if they need to pay a lot to the government then they will increase what they ask for their customers so people would only suffer more.

5124  Economy / Speculation / Re: New peak: $14500. No bearish sign. Keep it up the King on: November 05, 2020, 11:12:20 AM
So Btc's price has a huge effects on US political status I guess?
Biden leading the election results as of the moment seems affecting the Btc price in a good way lol.
Anyway, Bitcoin seems relentless as it continued to rise up to $14,509 the moment I'm typing this, and it's indeed no bearish sign that's showing since the fall of Btc on March.
$20,000 at the end of 2020 might still be possible.

Let's just hope it won't go below $10k or $12k anymore. What happened last year was devastating to most of us. I know some people that panic sold because of that and leave them a bad impression about bitcoin.

On the other side, cheers for those hodlers out there. Always remember to take profit when you have the chance.  Wink
5125  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Crypto Jobs 2020 on: November 05, 2020, 06:03:15 AM
Blockchain-related jobs are becoming a trend these days and we might see more offers of it in the next future. Since it has many benefits on a business, they are now studying how to apply to their company. It is also a good career to choose if you want to expand your knowledge about this field.
5126  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic did push the world towards a more digital age. on: November 05, 2020, 04:47:29 AM
I thought of this too. Pandemic was the way for some businesses and companies to shift into the digital age. Office workers now do work on their home, some of the local businesses have cashless way of payment method. Our tollway here now is also cashless, it's payment method is via some sort of RFID. It's just sad to think that this should have happen first before most of us embrace the digital technology.
5127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 05, 2020, 03:08:36 AM
Share some tips to win or to minimize losing?

1st tip: Don't be greedy always even if it's sportsbetting.
2nd tip: Put a loss limit on that day you will bet on multiple games.
3rd tip: Set a minimum bet per game even if you feel confident.
Last tip: Separate your profit always. For example you bet 0.01 then you win 0.011, exclude the 0.001 from your bankroll.
5128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: November 05, 2020, 02:04:45 AM
As I see you are the representative of bitcasino.io on this forum. Your casino is pretty famous, right? And you aren't new on this forum, I am right again, so, I think it wouldn't be a bad move from you to share some experience because you carry a lot of data about gamblers. From my perspective and experience, I can tell that when the price rises, users usually try to hold it instead of spending. Also, most of the times users build a strategy according to current price of bitcoin in USD. If I can do 100 bet of 0.0001 bitcoin and it worths 0.01 BTC (140 USD), then tomorrow I won't be able to bet the same amount because bitcoin's price has risen up to 20K (for example) and I have to bet lower amount cause I focus on USD. But most of the users bet lowest possible bet, so in this case, it happens like these users gamble less because they can't afford more when the price of BTC is high.

Some players shift to other cryptos like eth or ltc to continue their habit everyday. Though the USD profit may not that big I've seen some gamblers actually do that. Profit doesn't matter that much to them as long as they can gamble with the amount they can spend.
5129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin reach $20k fee will be huge? on: November 04, 2020, 11:10:00 AM
I think it will really increase, this would be a pain to small bitcoiners like us. It may seem small fee in btc value but when you look at its usd value then you will realize that it's big. The fee you are paying can already buy something you need. It's either you just make a transaction when you send a big amount or shift to another crypto where there are less fees.
5130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: November 04, 2020, 01:16:32 AM
This game is based really on probability which all other casino games are based with. No special skills needed just pure luck. But of course being a physical game which is governed by some set of rules like gravity and other force, one could claim that you can specifically be able to count the chances it will hit a certain number based on the speed of the rotation of the wheel and the weight of the ball and all other things. I mean I can go on and on but I really don't think one can count the chances. I will go for my special numbers and all other things others have done.

It would need a superhuman skill to be able to measure the chance to win based on the rotation speed of the roulette wheel. I haven't heard someone that can do that. Roulette is a popular game in casinos because it is very easy to play. If you want to go for profit choose other game like poker where your skill helps you to win the game.
5131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking: Sources that show information about suspended/injured missing players on: November 04, 2020, 12:36:12 AM
I've also thought about this few months ago but I think for these past years of every sports tournament or league, no one tried to create that website. This is only possible if the team or players will voluntarily report every injury or missing players then put it on one verified source. Website developers can create this website by integrating on that source to keep track of those stats.
5132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get scammed with shitcoin investing _ step guide! on: November 03, 2020, 12:14:33 PM
I don't know what a reason you make it bold because this is annoying for me, I think it's okay if using the normal word.
I'm not sure people will follow everything and check 1 by 1, some people are lazy to do that.. maybe I will give other tips..

11. Never ever invest in any new coins, this solution will prevent any scammed

New coins or tokens may be a lot of high risk but if the coin or token does IEO on a large exchanger, I think it should be considered as an investment. Initial listings on IEOs almost all provide huge profits and I think what is meant by new coins or tokens are those that have not been listed or recently mined

Those are still shitcoins even if they do an IEO on a large exchange. If you bought late, you will end up a bagholder of that coin. If you plan to invest on those coins, be wise. Buy quick when IEO started then sell it when you are already on profit.
5133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fast food restaurants accepting crypto as payment method? on: November 03, 2020, 06:48:04 AM
Here in the Philippines popular fast food restaurants don't adopt crypto payments yet but I see some small business here accept that payment method. They help to promote cryptocurrencies the way they can.

One reason I think why only few businesses here adopts the use of cryptos is people are not completely aware yet the use of it. Older people here are not techy yet and they still prefer the traditional way.
5134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 03, 2020, 04:53:45 AM
This is one of the major topics that is never covered here (or maybe I haven't seen any such threads related to this).

Deciding Units
Never chase your losses
Calm mindset
Have an edge over yourself

Most gamblers don't have these traits that is why they just lose more money in gambling. Pro or those who we call experts in gambling only have those traits. I myself can admit I don't have those, it's not easy to develop those especially if your opponent is yourself. This is also the reason why casinos don't run bankrupt. Greed is present in most of us.
5135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest the best strategy on: November 03, 2020, 03:26:27 AM
There is really no particular strategy that works in gambling. Big part of it needs luck for you to win. You may notice that a strategy works on your first try but that won't last. Once the house or website noticed that you win often from your bets, you will start hitting lose streaks. If you can't control your emotion that time then you might end up losing all including your bankroll.
5136  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price on: November 02, 2020, 06:20:24 AM
Since with the recent news, I'm bullish right now on bitcoin so I think it won't go below 13k anymore. Many TAs are also indicating that pattern. If it continues to stay on that price then maybe we will see a new ATH next year.

Honestly no one really knows what will happen, after that ATH last 2017 many predicted that will increase even more on the following year but it didn't happen. You just have to be prepared when things doesn't go the way you want to.
5137  Economy / Economics / Re: btc value and currency inflations on: November 02, 2020, 04:13:06 AM
lets say usa dollar and all currencies will be highly devalued .....then how we know the btc value??

most traders use USDT so if something happens with usa dollar is my USDT Will be worthless over night?

If USD will lose value then all local currencies of different countries will lose value too, I don't think that will happen. Our world is dependent on fiat. Imagine if it has no value, how are you going to buy things? How can you say this is cheap or not. You can't just say something cost 1btc without depending on a fiat currency.
5138  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Anyone using crypto exchange wallet on: November 02, 2020, 02:57:42 AM
Indeed. Kapag gumamit pa siya ng Binance exchanger, mas mahirap and mas matagal pa yung process compared sa direct crypto-wallet na, in which pag gumamit siya ng coins.pro, eh mas efficient kasi kahit na malaki ang fees, for sure na mas lalaki pa iyon kung dadami pa yung platforms na patutunguhan nito. One thing is for sure, coins.pro is I guess the best option, compared to having multiple platforms pero in the end same lang din ng babagsakan, either PHP or BTC niya sa coins kasi mas mabilis magwithdraw don. Honestly, dahil supported na ng coins ang XRP, good option yon kung gusto niya ng mababang fees, lalo na't hindi gaanong kavolatile yung XRP. (just my .69 cents  Grin)

5139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: November 02, 2020, 01:15:27 AM
It is rare for me to gamble with bitcoin as most of the time I use altcoins due to some reasons. Other than that, I have fixed fund for my gambling activity and I set the fund based on my own local currency. Lets say my budget for a week is $100 and I have to gamble with bitcoin, means that no matter how much is the bitcoin price, it wont affect my budget. The number may different in bitcoin but value stays the same in fiat currency. My betting limit per single bet is also limited to a specific value e.g. $2 max per bet. This makes me able to control my budget/money easier than when I have to set my budget in bitcoin as the value is volatile.

This is a good tip for someone that always gamble. Most people are opposite, they set their minimum bet in btc value which makes them lose more in the current btc price. They say that their bankroll got smaller because of the price surge but they don't realize it's their bet is the problem. You still win the same amount in USD value if you manage your bet amount properly.
5140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: November 02, 2020, 12:08:21 AM
My question is: there is something to learn about roulette gambling, or just luck in this game.

Apart from the experience you learn when you lose in playing roullete there is no anything else to learn there. For me they are just the same with dice games that rely on your luck to win the game. I've tried countless strategies playing those games and nothing worked best. You just win at first then losing streak will hit you if you lose control of your emotion.
