5121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Data Reveals Bitcoin Mining is Now Friendlier to the Environment on: July 21, 2021, 01:19:20 PM
Some of the good I see from the dismantling of China’s mining dominance is the use of green energy which has been an outcry of some of our governments and environmentalists, just hope to see it grow when all the tension comes down , and the other thing is wherever these miners will chose to settle the locals will get to learn and setup there own bitcoin mines which should see more miners getting on board soon.
5122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 21, 2021, 07:53:08 AM
The internet can be brutal at times, look at what I dug up , someone insisting that Arsenal should have bought bitcoins instead of spending that 35 million pounds on Shkodran Mustafi...by now they would have banked one and a half billion pounds. What do you guys think?

According to reports,James Madison has agreed personal terms with Arsenal in a bid to seal 60milliin transfer to Arsenal FC.
I wonder why Madison felt his position was threatened but nevertheless this move looks like it will happen.

5123  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitRoul.com the only Roulette with no Zero and a solid Provably Fair feature on: July 20, 2021, 08:14:04 PM
Roulette with no zero wow, I must try this one, but are the payouts the same for everything else like the columns,  even and odd, corner bets...

Because without that 0 my winning chances just went over the roof.

"No cheat" how do you guarantee this, because game manipulations aren't new to gambling.
5124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: July 20, 2021, 07:42:39 PM
This is like the third time am seeing a thread talk about Gambling addiction,  does this mean this pandemic has given people a reason to gamble more such that they have forgotten to limit themselves??

If gambling is really an issue talk to some one you trust preferably family or friends because you don't want someone that will look down on you for opening up.
All addictions went up during the pandemic, we must understand that people are social by nature so the lockdowns affected people, now if you were living with your family then this was not as much of an issue but for those living alone this was terrible, this means that we saw an increase in all kind of addictions including but not limited to drugs, alcohol, food, video games, social media and gambling
Are you implying that our social well-being is to blame for those that have turned out to be gambling addicts?
Honestly this is just a sympathy card for those that would say this because you could use this time to learn something new, a new degree if you can because we have plenty of online schools right about now and this could get you socializing again.

Btw very valid points you have aired @Silberman

so this is why it is so important to discuss it as some people may be on the verge to fall into this and we could get to them before they fall even further into those harmful behaviors.
For these regulated casinos they should know that people are gambling heavily this time around and should see this has business as usual, let them have some kind of reminder on one's dashboard on the signs and ways to over come gambling addiction...I remember seeing this on bet365, wonder if they still do it.
5125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is best time buying SHIB token or not on: July 20, 2021, 05:49:22 PM
Hi
i want to buy shib token , what is your think shib token long team project or no ,
i want to know following think
1/ can shiba token long time project ?
It has some potential but this will depend on whether meme coins remain fashionable in the foreseeable future since it doesn't really solve any thing,  but take the risk and invest maybe this could be your gold mine.

2/ can this price reach 0.01 end of 2022 ?

I would be grateful if any expert would give his opinion

Thnak's
This is Definitely not an expert opinion but if bitcoin the top coin can drop half of its all time high in a few months and take a long time to get back to its peak I think price will take some time for Shiba to grow unless devs introduce token burns to reduce its supply.

“Excise duty on betting at 20% of the amount will be wagered,” said Yattani, which would mean that the amount would be levied and passed on to a person who has won on a bet, which according to Yattani would also help discourage betting in the country.
20% is quite for something the government has not invested in and am certain these guys pushing for such have no fresh ideas of how to generate revenue for the government and have chosen an easy way out to tap in the billion dollar industry.

Now the biggest football clubs have joined hands to oppose this rule
Football clubs taking sides of gambling,  is this not something that would get them in trouble?
5127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 20, 2021, 03:59:51 PM
I really don't like these rumors of Henderson leaving Liverpool. We already lost Wijnaldum (a starting midfielder), losing another one (and a captain as well) in the same transfer window would really be irresponsible.
Very true, you can't have senior players leaving at once in trying to fuse in the youthful players. If Henderson is really leaving then it's unfortunate because he would have taught the young lads a thing or two,  hope this won't be something that will take forever to rebuild a strong team.

I understand that the club is not in a rush to give him a new big contract just yet considering he's 31 years old, but at east keep him for a year or 2 and then pick your options.

He would not generate a lot of money due to his age but would be a major loss both on the pitch and in the dressing room.
Could they be running away from paying large wage bills for these senior players?
5128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons for newbies loss in bitcoin on: July 20, 2021, 03:53:48 PM
Most people jump on the bitcoin wagon with Lack of knowledge no doubt and are carried away by the hype!

As far as I know You can not enter the crypto markets without knowing how the behave, not knowing whether the markets have seasonal trend cycles , is this free from from manipulation et cetera. But it's understandable these markets can sometimes be persuasive when we keep seeing people showing off their Lambos, mansions...everybody what's a price of that and they won't ask questions because of FOMO.
5129  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the lowest price of bitcoin from June to December 2021 on: July 20, 2021, 11:10:18 AM
Looking at the charts , to be honest it ain't looking pretty!

Just how bad you might ask , well I have seen some charts suggest we could be heading for support below $20k some have gone as far as $9000 its really scary...

As of today bitcoin is trading below $30,000 and am hoping this isn't a blood bath for the markets we need to see some rally to the upside, but for my trades am selling till $27k

5130  Economy / Services / Re: 1xbit.com honest review campaign (open) on: July 20, 2021, 10:58:58 AM
So I have been doing some comparisons with other gambling platforms particularly the sportsbook... and not because this is a paid review for me to say this that makes me sound bias, but 1xbit has one of the best platforms I have used and the large selection of markets does spoil you for choice which also helps increase your chance of winning.
With all the services described above this could be a deal breaker for me, but just a heads up to any future players of the platform do go through the TERMS AND CONDITIONS  and see to it that your activities don't get you into displeasure or conflict with the bookie otherwise from my side so far no issues whatsoever. Btw  deposits and withdraws are fast as usually and the loyalty program here is one of the best i have seen, you get to choose what you want to redeem which is something I haven't seen anywhere else and for high rollers playing on the casino do check your VIP CASHBACK, rewards are handsome and you don't want to miss this out on this, otherwise gamble responsibly.

James Maddison has reportedly agreed to personal terms on a contract with Arsenal, while a formal offer to Leicester City could soon be on the cards.
According to Gary Stephenson on Twitter, Arsenal could be pressing ahead with a move for James Maddison after agreeing on personal terms with the playmaker. The Gunners are now expected to make a formal offer for the Leicester City star, which would potentially make him the North London side’s marquee signing this summer.

Could this be because of the arrival of Patson Daka the ex RedBull Salzburg striker??
5132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Follows Ethereum? on: July 19, 2021, 08:21:50 AM
Ethereum will continue being Bitcoins deputy because  btc has the most liquidity compared to eth! What does this mean, btc  has the ability to move markets far much better than eth which makes it a leader and not a follower, and fyi the two being in different leagues eth would influence most altcoins while btc will influence the entire crypto ecosystem which shows eth doesn't influence btc.
Everyone is expecting a rally in Ethereum on back of the upgrade but i doubt we will be seeing a much bigger rally because anyone planning to stake the coins already invested billions in the market and if there is any special interest from any institutional investment firm to purchase millions or billions worth of coins to stake, then we might see a rally and then i heard about their plans of burning the coins, if that is the case we might see a rally but i am yet to understand all of their upgrades.
Binance coin is burning their coins to keep the price even higher, if Vitalik does that, it could possibly make the rise as well like what happen to BNB price.
Vitalik can do this....Does this not have to go through some kind of consensus before  you agree to undertake token burns, more over if this happens eth will lose clients to other blockchains because competition for the few coins on the market will be too high to comprehend.

Btw aren't token burns part of the  BNB tokenomics??
5133  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Does blockchain.com refund stolen funds? on: July 19, 2021, 07:08:15 AM
It's possible but your chances are very low, they too have this written in their support section about reversing or canceling transactions  https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/articles/211162263-Can-my-transaction-be-canceled-or-reversed-

And just to give you some hope , if there is unreasonable doubt that funds where lost because of their platform they certainly will refund like they did back in 2013 after its mobile wallet had a bug, read about it here https://www.coindesk.com/blockchain-info-issues-refunds-to-bitcoin-theft-victims

Another bug has been discovered in a bitcoin wallet, leading to the theft of around 50 bitcoins. This time, Blockchain.info’s web wallet was at fault, and the company is now offering refunds to users who lost bitcoins due to the flaw.

Reading the Sun I found that Atlético Madrid and England national team full-back Kieran Trippier is looking for a home in Manchester and that he is negotiating with Raheem Sterling to buy his house, worth 3 million euros. Trippier has long been a Manchester United target

Already making plans of where to stay, this sounds like a done deal and why Raheem Sterlings house? Are these some breadcrumbs suggesting a Manchester City move...any Manchester United is waiting for you lad .

Quote
and the rumors want that maybe Sterling could also leave Manchester City for good.
I thought Raheem is very instrumental to Manchester City's success, him leaving would be a blow ,this lad isn't going anywhere!
5135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on friendly matches on: July 18, 2021, 08:48:57 PM
Good observation and I think the reason for this is most teams don't usually field their top guys to play some of these friendlies because they know players can pick up injuries which could cost them a title chase and no one wants to take that kind of a risk with friendlies. So intelligent coaches simply put in reserve teams and tell them to just have fun and end result is plenty of goals and pundits are cashing in with the results Cool
5136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still the favorite choice on: July 18, 2021, 08:33:21 PM
Naturally this happens because of herd mentality and because you read about it or someone gave you a brief background and ended up saying something in the lines of bitcoin is the number one coin, you won't think twice upon hearing this... and all you will want is bitcoin.

But once you have spent some time knowing how the crypto ecosystem is built and how btc got to that spot....btc won't always be your favorite!

I've heard that Chelsea also have joined the race to sign Varane. Now, it seems like Chelsea, PSG and Manchester Utd are putting a good effort to bring Varane to the club.
Chelsea Chelsea, are they trying to do another Pedro steal they did a few years ago when everyone was expecting him to go to old Trafford only to be told his destination was Stamford bridge, sorry not this one.

Varane seems like a secure deal for United and I don't see this changing  Roll Eyes!

And Chelsea really surprise me. They are after Haaland also and willing to pay €175m to be able to sign him. To get Varane, they will have to sacrifice at least €50m. Do they really have this much budget now?
Chelsea trying to build a super star team but honestly I don't think they have this kind of disposable funds to go after any player they feel they can get,but better than doing nothing it's better than not trying...good luck.
5138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 100xcoin discussion, let's talk about how this will sustain despite huge supply. on: July 18, 2021, 07:21:41 PM
I see a market cap of over 900 trillion coins which is way too many coins,  don't expect price to  go up to a dollar or higher, not with such a huge supply....unless the devs have token burns lined up to help stimulate the market of 100x to lower supply and try bring in demand to push price up, otherwise price is okay.

5140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does the epidemic have a big impact on Bitcoin? on: July 18, 2021, 04:34:12 PM
I think it has a positive impact on cryptos as the pandemic has slowed down most businesses that rely on face to face interactions and the only ones seeing some life are those based on digital platforms .

Despite having the pandemic ,  people are desperately looking for ways to make some money online and bitcoin and other cryptos have provided this as an answer and should people see some gains, more investments into crypto should happen.
