5141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is for you scam project and what is for you good project? on: January 12, 2020, 03:54:19 AM
Legit or scam has nothing to do with price, I was with a projects which started as an airdrop, mooned and later the founder abandoned the project.

If the lead team is anonymous, you should have second thoughts about project. This is what I have figured.
5142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs should target developing and third world countries on: January 11, 2020, 04:03:42 AM
Yes, but for that regulations must be in favor for it, like first comment said, unocoin installed atm in India but later they got in trouble by officials, you just can't go there and place your atm.
5143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 Breaking the stereotypes 🔥 Exchange of illiquid tokens for real money 🔥 on: January 10, 2020, 05:03:59 AM
I thought that this thread contains the stereotypes that the people have with cryptocurrencies and you're breaking it. But this is more of a token sales. Why still give attention to those unsuccessful tokens if they were already not good and didn't found the success that they were looking for during their sales.

I don't think that there will be investors willing to buy those kind of tokens.

We don't need investors. Please check out the first post in our telegram channel. Thanks.
Why not post that first post in your telegram channel to your original post on this thread? I think it's a good idea so that most people that are curious of what you are advocating can easily understand what you are trying to do.

Just a suggestion since I don't use telegram.

There isn't much information either, here they have linked telegram group, there they have link to this thread.

So far it seems like they are phishing for followers, let's see.
5144  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Easy way to exchange small amounts of Tron to Bitcoin on: January 10, 2020, 04:55:07 AM
I think that's why the minimum rate is changing because it depends on the BTC total rate, not on TRX amount.

How do you mean?

I also found Exolix, but there minimum amount to be exchange is around 0.009 Btc total, quite high compare to coinswitch.

Limit is way high for every pair, would rather use already established ones like changelly over this.
5145  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin pegged token? on: January 09, 2020, 03:57:35 AM
There are actually, for example eosbet casino uses BTC pegged token on EOS to make betting available with BTC.
5146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 Breaking the stereotypes 🔥 Exchange of illiquid tokens for real money 🔥 on: January 08, 2020, 02:42:07 AM
I have tons of illiquid tokens collected from airdrops/bounties, would love to get rid of them for some profit. But, why this thread in English and channel in Russian language?
5147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Danger that awaits few coins on: January 08, 2020, 02:37:57 AM
I agree with your take on bnb token, it doesn't have much use case and is overvalued.
5148  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Easy way to exchange small amounts of Tron to Bitcoin on: January 07, 2020, 07:13:00 AM
Just checked, Minimum is 1507 trx on coinswitch while on changelly it's 715 trx.

@op instant exchanges have min amounts and on cexes like binance, withdrawal fees would eat up your fund, better to hold until you have accumulated significant amount.

i just check on coinswitch they have minimum around 272 Tron you can see my ss below

but i think you need more than 2k to get a better rate for your exchange

Well, idk 1507 is minimum rate for me.

5149  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying online with crypto? Its worthed? on: January 07, 2020, 04:39:18 AM
In my personal experience, when you pay with crypto, you get bit inflated prices. So better to use fiat unless you have no other option.

5150  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Easy way to exchange small amounts of Tron to Bitcoin on: January 07, 2020, 04:36:55 AM
As what I used before, I am doing it with Changelly: https://changelly.com/ for changing some quick and small amount of cryptocurrency to exchange it.
As of now they have TRON listed and you can do it with lot of cryptocurrency just like TRON to Bitcoin or TRON to ETHEREUM, etc.

P.S. Exchange at your own risk, try to review first.

there is minimum exchange on changelly which around 700~800 Tron so if you want to do an exchange with lower than that i prefer coinswitch.
because coinswitch has a minimum around 280~300 Tron.

Even hardware wallets are susceptible to harsh environmental conditions over time.

It's not that your hardware wallet holds crypto, your funds are linked to mnemonics, you can back up these words to some online service.

It would be good idea to encrypt the file containing seed words with password only known by you and then upload it, so even if malicious entity gets the file containing your seed you would be still safe.
5152  Other / Meta / Re: Mobile Friendly Bitcointalk on: January 06, 2020, 03:13:58 AM
I don't have pc (yeah, you can laugh on that one) and I use bitcointalk completely on mobile, believe me you will get used to it.
5153  Other / Meta / Re: Reported Posts - query on bad posts. on: January 05, 2020, 06:50:18 AM
What is the link to the check report history?
I have 26 unhandled posts. Just want to know why they were not handled by mods.

Click on 'report to moderator' with your profile logged in >> your report history.

It has history of reported posts of previous 30 days
5154  Other / Meta / Re: [TelegramBot] Merit watcher and Mention Notification Bot on: January 05, 2020, 06:37:38 AM
I got notfications but I can't tell whether it was because of the quote or because of the "@"

Does it matter much? You receive notification with a link, clicking it would unveil whether it was a quote or mention.
5155  Other / Meta / Re: This is how bitcointalk.org looks like on a mobile phone on: January 04, 2020, 05:07:02 AM
You are not using your phone correctly.

Hodl your phone horizontally and the problem solves itself.

May be ok to surf but not helpful in typing, most are used to type in portrait mode, in landscape you will find typing a chore.

I would rather zoom to read than to rotate modes.
5156  Other / Meta / Re: [TelegramBot] Merit watcher and Mention Notification Bot on: January 04, 2020, 04:41:49 AM
Beautiful! This is much simpler than piggy's, not trying to defame it, just found the instructions much simpler and registration was quick and easy.

Test: @libert19

Edit: works excellent for both quotes and mentions!

Excellent job!

Good to see it's still ongoing. In this harsh market, getting paid in stable coin helps so much! Haha!
5158  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: walletscrutiny: the majority of "wallets" are either custodial or closed source on: January 03, 2020, 03:16:28 AM
I love Coinomi and this makes me sad Sad

The security issue is only in the Desktop version of Coinomi I don't have a bad experience in using their wallet for a long time with their android version.

Since their Desktop version is new there are still many bugs you can experience in Desktop version unlike on mobile version.

I heard that they already fix the vulnerability issue of their desktop version I heard it from someone here on the forum I just can't find the thread.

If you are planning to use coinomi better use their Android version which is fine.

I do use Coinomi on android (since last 5 years), thing is it's closed source, and like article said:

The app cannot be independently verified. If the provider puts your funds at risk on purpose or by accident, you will probably not know about the issue before people start losing money. If the provider is more criminally inclined he might have collected all the backups of all the wallets, ready to be emptied at the press of a button. The app might have a formidable track record but out of distress or change in management turns out to be evil from some point on, with nobody outside ever knowing before it is too late.
5159  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Freebitco.in scam or legit? on: January 02, 2020, 04:27:53 AM
Site owner likely chosen (.in) domain because that completes the word 'bitcoin', site is legit and it has nothing to do with india.
