We are likely to see a finale between Manchester City and Inter for now in my opinion. Manchester City are playing much better in home games and it should be the same against Real Madrid as well. But the rematch can still be very competitive depending on Real Madrid's being prepared for a bigger fight there. On the other hand Inter are already in a very advantageous situation and they can finish the incomplete job as long as they play decently.
When it comes to a finale between these teams it isn't hard to pick a side of course. Manchester City would be able to beat them nicely and reach the title finally.
It can be said that the final between Manchester City and Inter is a final that has been determined since the first leg. But actually I'm not so sure whether Manchester City can fully progress to the final round because the aggregate with Real Madrid is still the same and as everyone knows that Real Madrid has never won at Manchester City, it is a tough job for Ancelotti's squad. Maybe I will still hope for a miracle like last season when Real Madrid managed to make an aggregate comeback and make them qualify for the final. I have no other opinion and would prefer to see the tension in the second leg later when Manchester City takes on Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium. For Inter they have secured their next step into the final with an aggregate advantage of 2 goals and with Milan's current state it also seems very difficult to overturn that aggregate advantage. From my own personal analysis of football, I think Inter Milan are surely gonna play in this season's UEFA Champions League final after their excellent performance against their city rivals AC Milan in the first leg of their semi-final tie. The Real Madrid vs Manchester City tie, I think it's very dicey to predict who'll win the match. Manchester City for a fact will be playing at home and with the rousing support of their home side, they're more advantaged to win but Real Madrid knows how to get results both at home and away. AC Milan would be disappointed by their performance that they couldn't score atleast a goal and the will be giving their all in the second leg. I don't think inter Milan would be carried away by their 2-0 win either and I see them making it to the finals. The 2 goals can be overturned but it is not with the squad that played this midweek. The team needs to be more determined and it their hit left winger Leo will be available, it will be possible that they can overturn the result because only that guy has the ability to push the defence of the opponent. With this week's match list, the big clubs should have a lot of chances to win because on average they face small clubs, so at least they can excel and win an even bigger number of points. Leeds against Newcastle will be the EPL opener this week and I think it should be an easy game for Newcastle. We know that in the previous game Newcastle failed to get 3 points at home against Arsenal and made them fail to widen the gap back from Manchester United. Indeed, the remaining matches in the Premier League are very crucial for teams that do not have the right distance from their competitors. If I saw at the standings currently and the last five matches of both teams, I'll agree that against Leeds is an easy match for Newcastle, because they are also currently better rather than Leeds. It will be a tough job for Sam Allardyce, and even if the new Leeds United coach manages to get the team to win all remaining matches in EPL. They will still have to wait for two other teams like Everton and Nottingham Forest to lose points in their next three match, to can take over from one of sixteen and seventeen positions Yeah it sure is. Leeds have Newcastle, West Ham and Spurs ahead and all these teams are tough teams given the condition Leeds are in right now. It's a tough battle between 3-4 teams near the relegation zone and any two can land in relegation zone. Southampton seems to be the team confirmed to be relegated this season. Leeds has not been good since this season and especially towards the end of this season. Such a poor night for Milan. I didn't see as big effort as I expected from them. Because there were big problems with the shots. This 2-0 loss already in the first game can be a serious issue for Milan in the second leg. I was expecting Inter to play good but this was more than I expected. After capturing this psychological advantage Inter can most probably eliminate them.
I wonder why Inzaghi didn't prefer Lukaku in the starting lineup this time. He has been in a good shape recently actually.
I would say AC Milan was unlucky to lose so badly at home. Inter Milan is a very tactical team. They conceded the first goal in the 8th minute and quickly conceded another goal. Before AC Milan could organize their defense, Inter Milan went ahead with two consecutive goals. And later on, Inter Milan was more focused on keeping their defence tight than attacking. However, Inter Milan's players were able to mount several excellent counter-attacks. Overall the match was very enjoyable. AC Milan are unlikely to qualify for the final after losing 2-0 at home. Milan did not show the game with high standard games they were very chaotic so Inter immediately punished at the beginning of the first half. For the second leg no longer hope for Milan, Simone Inzaghi will lock in the results of today's match and will not provide room for his rivals. I made sure Inter was able to set foot in Istanbul. AC Milan's match strategy was not good. I would say this is the main reason for their defeat. I consider Inter Milan and AC Milan squads to be almost equally strong. However, AC Milan players disappointed the fans in the home match. They should have performed better. However, it is highly unlikely that AC Milan will win the away match by more than 2 goals after a 2-0 defeat in the home match. Because AC Milan's forwards are not very strong. Moreover, we will see a more aggressive form of Inter Milan in the home match in the second leg. My guess is Inter Milan will win the second leg like the first leg. when ever we consider a situation where the supposed favourable side is unable to win in such a stage of the Europa competition, the probability of them winning the away match is always low but very much imminent. I don't have any doubt if I think of a come back result in favour of AC Milan at Angelo Morati. There is every tendency that inter Milan can as well disappoint their fans in the home match. So let us not use the first leg as a yard stick to measure or predict what the next meeting would be. |

We know Liverpool have been doing great in the last few weeks. How long do you think Liverpool's streak will last? I think they have the potential to win all the remaining games in the league. But still, it would be quite difficult to finish the Premier League as the 3rd team, I'm not sure if their opponents will lose points. I look forward to the results of the next matches  I don’t think Liverpool is really after the top 3, what I think they are after is just ending the season in top 4, which I believe they can definitely get that, Liverpool performance have been cool recently, Liverpool really want to end the season as top 4 so am sure they won’t want to waste any opportunity they are having currently, the season is about to end and this is their last opportunity. Am having confidence that Liverpool might end up winning all the matches they are having left. They didn’t perform well at the beginning of the season those not mean they won’t perform well at the end. It will depend on Manchester United, if Manchester United can do their best in their remaining matches, then Liverpool can only finish in 5th place. Manchester United has 4 matches, while Liverpool only has 3 remaining. obviously they hope bad luck will be with Manchester United for the rest of this match, it will make them profitable. We are now entering the final two hours before the matches start!  Some of the questions relevant to this match are not yet answered like who is going to play and who is not. Leverkusen will be missing Patrik Schick and that would have been a great story as Patrik Schick used to play for Roma. El Sharaawy will be missing for Roma, a player who is good when he comes on as a joker. All the little ingredients could be needed today, but Roma is not able to start with their best eleven. What does Mourinho has up his sleeves? It will be a match packed with action, but I do not expect a lot of goals. Usually that is what Leverkusen can do best, but today I predict less goals than usual will be scored. The odds are in favor of Roma although in my view the odds are not a good indicator in this game of what is possibly going to happen. If I had to pick some results, I'd go with a 1-1 draw in both games! What are your picks? Juventus looks like the main favorite here and i think they might win easily this duel against Sevilla. Juventus defence looks really good and i doubt that Sevilla can penetrate it that easily. Also Roma vs Leverkusen for me might be a low scoring match due to the playing style of Roma. Most matches we do see the favourite sides always turn to yield a reverse of our expectations. I don't see Inter Milan in the imagwhen trying to consider who will win yesterday but they did, and in a very brilliant way. Today everyone is seeing Juventus forgetting that Juventus didn't seems as good as Manchester United did in the quarter-final round. Lazio have started to get negative results recently and this is endangering their position in top four. Because Inter and Milan are very close to them in the standings right now. There are only four weeks left for the end of the season maybe but balances can change a lot in the time period. They lost to Inter and Milan both recently as well.
All of their remaining games are winnable ones actually. They only need to focus on their game to qualify for the Champions League this time. Otherwise this season won't end very different than the previous one.
The season gets tougher has it gradually drives to an end, u wouldn't blame any side for losing. Lazio has lost 3 matches recently and this match I consider a tough one of all their remaining matches left for the season to run out. The first one was was against Torino, the latter was against Inter Milan, and then against AC Milan. I consider all those matches a tough match cuz Lazio played exceptionally well but we're lucky to have a goal. I'm sure Lazio will not be losing their next match as they know they can be taken off the top 4 zone due to fewer goals. |
