5141  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful with the links you click on your email on: December 08, 2019, 11:41:38 PM
Ignoring unsolicited and unfamiliar emails is the key.

I used to receive random emails ever before the crypto's popularity and I applied that principle until now. Those email signs up and redirect, you should never click any of them or input important information that you don't want to share.
5142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hide my money from my country on: December 08, 2019, 10:41:38 PM
Why not use bitcoin and create your own wallet ?  The only problem is the price volatility of bitcoin ans if the price will drop but if the price will increase its a win situation to you.
Also i want to know if you are only looking for stable coin?
You have to read the whole sentences made by op before ending up with these questions.

@op If you have an income tax with that percentage do you think that your government will not enforce a law for taxing crypto profits? they might consider you taxable in the future if changes come by if ever you choose to keep your money with stable coins or any crypto of your choice.

pixie85

You are right, if I will withdraw the money to my bank in few years I still will pay the taxes but there is always an option I will withdraw
small amounts for cash and never put it in my bank. Thats the basic of what I planned to do.

Any as someone suggested here, my country is not relevant right now but if I will keep the money on other bank account in different country.
Do you think it wil be a better idea? or there is high possibility the different countries can share bank information and find out.

Keeping it at your own vault is what's on my mind too. As for the offshore bank accounts, I don't have an experience with it but it's likely that they can't share your information unless there's an order from international court or something like that.

It isn't that much for a giveaway but it's still free money from him and only one winner so it doesn't have to be divided into many winners. Well, he sure knows how to market and everything he's getting the attention of the people, he always get in.

Just like these announcements and giveaway thingy.
5144  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase hacked on: December 08, 2019, 09:11:20 PM
If you have a problem in coinbase you should message the support to what happen , i am not sure if they are able to give back the balance transfer already to another wallet.
It's outside of Coinbase jurisdiction if the reason of a user's emptied wallet was due to his negligence and that's what we can see here. It's either OP was hacked or he logged in to a fake coinbase / phishing link.

There is no way that Coinbase will return the lost funds if it's his fault.

5146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin gifts for Christmas? on: December 07, 2019, 11:09:18 PM
Giving a hardware wallet as a gift is good but for me, it would become totally useless if you're giving to the wrong person. As much as possible give it to the people that are aware of how to own and operate it.

I prefer giving a small amount of bitcoin as suggested and would ask the receiver to make his own wallet through known web wallets which he can explore while learning about bitcoin.
5147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins will give in excess of profit in a growing market? on: December 07, 2019, 10:30:44 PM
There are couple of projects shining last weeks and this information can be obtained from CMC easily. However most are really showing fake volumes and manipulated price movements either directly or indirectly.
Those coins that you are describing are mostly the pump and dump coins. I wouldn't advise any person to track those coins that are gaining huge percentages within the week.

Having fake volume is their way to get more investors and hope that many doesn't buy on this gimmick anymore.
5148  Economy / Speculation / Re: Finding the new predictor of Bitcoin Price on: December 07, 2019, 09:08:22 PM
Everyone became influenced by those people but while we're growing on this market, we're actually understanding and seeing the whole point of why we're depending on these people. You bought it at the peak of this year so you need to add more patience due to it.

I think you should change that attitude of relying on the prediction of others, you can read insightful comments and TA's but think first before rolling yourself and applying with those predictions.
5149  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mobile Wallets on: December 07, 2019, 08:38:07 PM
There are users that forget to write down and back up their passphrases and once the phone is stolen, you can't retrieve it anymore. There is the good and bad side of having mobile wallets. If you want to access it everywhere, you can put a small amount that you want to spend with it but it's not the best wallet to keep for long term HODL.

Applying 2FA is much better another added layer of security for such wallets, you can use authy or google auth.

Etherdelta loads for me but after that, the interface has nothing to show. All details are blank, I guess this is another exchange that will shut down soon.
Seems like one more time they got hacked! Roll Eyes

Too mach hack attacks in the recent times, even the decentralized exchange as they claim has the same problem.

When we are going or going to realize funds needs to be stores on wallet?
I haven't used them for a while so I don't have any details and updates regarding this exchange. Now, it's showing some text but the orders aren't showing and the circle loading keeps on loading.

Are there people that are still storing funds into this kind of exchange?
5151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It’s a curiosity to know on: December 06, 2019, 11:00:10 PM
In 2017, Nearly 50000 users in a day were singing up on Coin base.  In my view, more number of people are now engaged about the blockchain mainstream
than 2017.
2 years has passed so expect that there are more people that are now into crypto and have invested into bitcoin. As for the blockchain technology, they really wouldn't care about it because this is more of a corporate opportunity and innovation.

“How many people are joining with their exchange now? Is this really increasing or what?
I can't find the current stats of it. But base on this article which was published last March 2018: Binance Now Has More Users Than the Population of Hong Kong

Binance has around 7.9 million users registered last year so I'm expecting that it has added around 1 million users within a year or even more than that.

5153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for New Altcoins on: December 05, 2019, 11:52:22 PM
So, my questions are
1. Why there are still investors in the new altcoins project? For what they invest if they know new altcoins are only about risks and losses?
2. Who are those developers that always create new altcoins projects? Don't they know that most new projects just ended with failure?
Good questions. The process was always like that, when most new altcoins became being dumped which results to be called as scam coins because of that scenario and failed investors with those coins simply call it like that.

1. With the hope of earning because most of these new coins are active for the moment so hype is high.
2. I don't know if you see a developer that keeps on jumping from one failed project to another, you already have an indicator what project to avoid.
5154  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you know any crypto bounty or campaign which is related to cars? on: December 05, 2019, 11:21:09 PM

Why don't try to market yourself, go to section under Services and offer yourself for some content creating or translation or even an advisor for some projects related to your field.

Do you mean I should advertise myself and my knowledge/skill in services section so that someone offers a job for me?
Yes, that's what he meant. Selling yourself with your knowledge about cars and the ability to write contents about it. If you already have a portfolio that you can sell out with samples, that's better and easier for you to get clients.

And don't limit yourself to crypto car projects only, you can also be hired and get paid with any currency (dollars, euro) but you have to look for a decent client through freelancing platforms.
5155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 05, 2019, 10:56:44 PM
Yeah, I forgot to edit since I already thought that game was finished with that score. Actually it was a close game and the run-in score by Denver was impressive, I really thought that they'll par on the score within the last minutes.

But well, they've lost and the momentum was with the Lakers.

Just seen the videos of the highlights, it was really a close game, Anthony Davis really did a good job playing defensively and then scoring 25 points. Lakers avoided back-to-back lost with this win.

Nikola Jokic was absent in the first half and I don't know why he doesn't want to shoot the ball though, maybe it was really a good Lakers defence on him. But he came aggressive in the second half, but not enough.
Yep, a very close one. I thought that it's going to be an overtime and they would eventually lose because they have been doing good. But as usual the last few minutes will always show the momentum if the scores are close.

And another victory again for Lakers against Jazz, looks like the fans of other team will have a new favorite now.
5156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto world is presently not sane on: December 05, 2019, 10:32:33 PM
IEO and ICO doesn't have that much difference. They get a crowd sale for their project to be funded and after that, it's up to the investors and developers on what's going to be the next deal.

And for keeping coins, I'll choose to keep the known coins rather than the coins that are bound and potential to be dumped after the sale. Well, if this cycle continues, sale > pump > dump then the next thing would be investing to the top coins.

Agree. Never participated in any IEO cause I can not explain myself why on earth that shitcoin should pump. Logically, it should fall. Meanwhile marketmaking is only a temporary solution and there's no guarantee that it will work even next time.
The reason is because it's a new trend and everyone is hyped base on the crowd response. That's why others saw the chance and opportunity in that case while others didn't bother to invest because obviously, they have a huge similarity.

The established coins will still dominate the market and regardless of new idea comes out again but if it would be the same with crowd sale, they'll really experience the same scene.

Edit: 102-96 few seconds left.
Congrats Lakers.
Something like this.
That is the Lakers team with addition of AD and Green while on the other hand Denver had not much improved their roster. Just the players.
But I cannot believe Denver was given -2.5. That was bad and I never bet on it.
Final was 105-96 in favor of Lakers.

5159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin increase as in 2017? on: December 04, 2019, 05:38:46 AM
It is bitcoin and its known for having a character of volatility. Yes, we may see or we may not see an increase just like what 2017 did in the past. It wouldn't be the same as quick in skyrocketing but there is a chance as usual for bitcoin to get back on that track.

Are you thinking of investing right now because of that possibility?
5160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 04, 2019, 04:16:50 AM
I'm watching right now the Lakers vs Denver match. 4 minutes left and I think this is going to be an overtime but it still depends on how Lakers will take care of their 3 point lead.

From 7 points lead to 3 points.

Edit: 102-96 few seconds left.

Congrats Lakers.
