5161  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BonusGame = BitcoinBoss666 = known scammer on: September 25, 2015, 05:28:26 PM
If a lender manages his loans properly, then he will be able to be properly compensated for his time/effort necessary to liquidate the collateral that was securing the loan (and often actually end up being compensated very generously when borrowers default).

that's really not the point, though. lenders are in the business of lending in return for interest + principal. they aren't in the business of speculating on collateral defaults---some may enjoy that aspect, but some (probably most) do not. i would have no interest in that if i were to lend here.
5162  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BonusGame = BitcoinBoss666 = known scammer on: September 25, 2015, 06:40:57 AM
Yup, they are the same person, both bd69dc1c4c10c7258a11ec849c866ad09691b3b654f85b13c82b5284553bbcbd and 8e29686cd3930faaa1d3338f82e21d8cf15872503baecacff1f57a5063e6eac7 were signed with 1DKjtZJ4DJiXvkhv5iJHHS3XwTc4tBAvqa

Although to be fair, the loan that was defaulted on by BitcoinBoss666 was secured with collateral that was retained by the lender, so there was really no loss to the lender, and negative trust is probably not appropriate for BitcoinBoss666 (and as a result, would not be appropriate for BonusGame either).

On the other hand, I do believe that the OP is acting very suspicious, and should probably be watched fairly closely Roll Eyes

not entirely unreasonable. however, i think lenders deserve to know if a prospective debtor has defaulted on loans, at least for some amount of time (maybe similar to credit reporting)......if i were a lender, i wouldn't want to liquidate collateral. wouldn't want the headache, and wouldn't want to risk losing money over it.

Read again what is scam:D:D

i'm just going off your admitted alt account's negative (default) trust for defaulting on loans. i don't care about your explanations. tell it to Vod and EcuaMobi---they are the ones who left you feedback.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=397255

lol, it finally dawned on me why you use your BonusGame account to incessantly attack Vod...... Cheesy

Hi this guy is spamming and making non sense posts under you signature campaign.
Just check his history.

yes, please just check my history.

FYI, i added the Bitmixer signature on 9/23 (see: https://bitmixer.io/signature.html). this was my first post under the campaign:

you've got some issues, man. if you're gonna open a thread in Reputation baselessly accusing someone else, prepare for the blowback. you're just butthurt because someone pointed out that you are a shill account, and i agreed.

so you respond by trying to get me kicked out of my signature campaign?

lol. Cheesy
No. But owner must saw you are spammer/nonsens poster.
Yea yea i have butthurt becouse some spammer attack me Cheesy
And again i dont trying to kick you. You are spammer and make shitty post only for money.
People must know about it.

you take out loans. then you default on them. then you pretend that you aren't a scammer.

you're obviously butthurt. why else would you go to these lengths---just because someone called you a shill account? just let it go, man. make a new account and don't be so stupid to link it to your old scammer accounts.
5165  Economy / Reputation / Re: ABitNut Abusing trust system. on: September 25, 2015, 01:15:01 AM
i urge anyone bored enough to be reading this: please compare my posts with BonusGame, and come to your own conclusion about who is posting "nonsense." Roll Eyes

like i said---not trust abuse. the feedback was accurate.

People are too bored. Why all this drama over some feedback?

tbh, and i hate that i let it happen....but i let this guy attacking me get to me. first i responded to his attacks on my "post quality." Roll Eyes then to his attempts to get me kicked out of my signature campaign. then he neg trusted me from multiple accounts and accused me of being another alt (which i am not).

so i said "fuck it. i'm gonna prove this guy is a scammer." and i did: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1189843.msg12515122#msg12515122

Scammers profile link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=504810

snailmen has an scam accusation against him that he scammed paypal funds from someone, and that he is CandyStripes.

Although there is no blockchain evidence that I am aware of, his (lack of) maturity does match that of CandyStripes, and his (lack of) respect towards PrimeDice in general (where CandyStripes has caused a lot of problems/trouble/scams) would indicate they are one and the same.

At the very least, it would be highly recommended to trade with caution when dealing with him, and to exercise vigilance with him.

i gotta say, i see that -48 trust score and i'm like, "why should i bother listening to anything you say?" if you're gonna continue making scam accusations, you might want to make a new alt account to do it. that way, people won't immediately write you off as a scammer yourself.
Wow you make new account to give me red trust Cheesy congrats

nope, but you are welcome to think that. Smiley

i don't really have any interest in using the trust system on this forum. i don't trade here and my feedback is invisible by default. what's the point? if i think you are a scammer, i will make a thread here. Wink

EDIT: you left me negative trust. 2 minutes later, BitcoinBoss666 (scammer) leaves negative trust.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=397255

are you an alt of BitcoinBoss666? why do you spend time calling people out as scammers when you spend your time here defaulting on 0.1BTC loans? lol. Cheesy

Beware - someone already registered my nickname on that forum. If someone there tries to make a deal it is not me.

hmm, that's a scary thought. scammers are always thinking of the next move.

that forum is a dead end, anyway. for any other forum to reach critical mass at this point (vs. bitcointalk) is basically impossible IMO. i doubt anyone is looking for a forum on bitcoin.org, nor would i want to associate with anything roger ver....
5172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin XT - Officially #REKT (also goes for BIP101 fraud) on: September 24, 2015, 11:25:17 PM

Look Peter it's quite simple, either you accept that for the block size to increase consensus needs to be reach by all actors of the Bitcoin market or you continue pretending that the demand of consumers & merchants for lower cost transactions will move the needle which it won't in that case if they "fork" it will be in their own cheap little altcoin.

You love going around in circles, don't you?

As knight22 already explained a few times, there's no such thing as perfect consensus.

Do you refuse to accept the possibility that an economic majority will have their way and increase the blocksize even though you don't agree?

isn't the very idea of an "economic majority" tied to consensus? if the miners don't support industry players, that doesn't mean the miners can be ignored. the lower we place the threshold for a hard fork, the more likely we will see a "civil war" play out as Nick Szabo pointed out. that's why hashing power is paramount to the concerns of Bitpay et al.
5173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: September 24, 2015, 10:20:45 PM
there is a block halving on the way next year, can be good point to make you keep your coins

block halvings are tricky, since the market knows about them so far in advance and likely "prices them in." for all we know, the 2013 bubbles already "priced in" multiple block halvings. yes, it's an important fundamental, but how it affects price discovery from here at the low $200s is difficult to say.

5175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cold storage/physical bitcoin wallets killing bitcoin economy? on: September 24, 2015, 09:47:10 PM
Surely less money in circulation would make it worth more?

i think this is a bit more complex. i don't think we can approach this question in a vacuum (on its own). from a currency perspective, velocity of money is affected by too many factors to approach it the same as "low supply = high demand." yes, fixed supply means higher demand (higher value) than an unlimited supply.

but that doesn't speak to the issue of hoarding. on one hand, hoarding = less btc liquidity to exchanges --> less sell demand. on the other hand, without some level of money velocity (value transfer among network participants), the network eventually becomes worthless, as no one uses it to transfer value. it's a tricky question. economics is opaque as hell.
5176  Other / Meta / Re: Possible Thread Under Meta - Ban Appeals on: September 24, 2015, 09:28:36 PM
I love how all of you think this is a consensus run forum LOL

~BCX~

nah, but i figure it's worth it to let theymos know our opinions, in case he decides to make changes/implement something new. can't hurt, anyway.

No ban appeals should be allowed.

Agreed. I've never seen a user getting unbanned after appeal in Meta. They get banned for a reason. That thread would be useless.

indeed, the TF appeal was actually the first one that seemed worthy of being posted (if only to shed more light on the doxxing issue)

at the end of the day though---if you don't have a place for people to appeal bans, it doesn't mean they won't continue to try anyway. they'll just start making threads in other subforums instead...Cheesy
5177  Economy / Reputation / Re: ABitNut Abusing trust system. on: September 24, 2015, 08:49:19 PM
I stand behind my statement too: You came here only to attack me without any reason, and you are not good guy becouse your posts are really low quality.
I dont care what they will do.
You call my account shill becouse i defend bob. And how i should call your account? If you only spam in giveaways and now you post in my thread ?
And of course your account is alt. You make 40 posts in 36h:D And no it is not spam.

i didn't come here to attack you. you made a thread, i read it. i was compelled to respond. your opinion about post quality doesn't say anything about whether someone is a "good guy."

i don't spam. i certainly don't post only in giveaways and in your thread. anyone is free to peruse my post history to see that.

notice how you neglected to screenshot these "40 posts in 36h" this time. because you know they aren't spam.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=136484;sa=showPosts

you keep saying "of course your account is alt." whose alt am i? or do you just like to throw around baseless insults, when you have no evidence?

again, attacking my "post quality" does not address whether or not you are a shill.
5178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud mining Advise on: September 24, 2015, 08:42:37 PM
Unfortunately mining in general is just not a good way to make anything.

mining is actually quite profitable. i know miners that produce coins at ~ $80/coin. considering BTCUSD price is at $236 right now, that is pretty damn profitable. the thing is---you need a lot of capital to reasonably scale your operation (no point mining for pennies) and you need access to new generation chips (connections to manufacturers) to compete re: difficulty.

What coin are they mining?  What are they using to mine?  How much is their electric bill?  I was under the impression that it is next to impossible to gain anything from mining BTC.

bitcoin. i only know most of the details for one friend in british columbia---but others have told me they are still very profitable. he has new gen spoondoolies and upgrades regularly. IIRC he pays less than 9 cents per kwh.

like i said, it's all about capital-->scale, electricity cost, access to new generation miners. so yeah, casual miners who want to point their GPUs at bitcoin mining pools or people with Rasberry Pis should not expect to make anything. Cheesy

took a quick look. this impartial observer's opinion: the post history definitely makes the account look like someone's alt account. the ratio of shill posts: any other posts is very high. shill alt account. book it.
A took a quick look too. The post history definietly makes your account look like alt account. First 4 post is about giveaway. Even if you have a lot post's, 90% of your post is spam.
I really dont care about your opinion.
BTW:check your first 3 posts on forum Smiley

cool story. what's me posting in some giveaway threads in 2013, or posting in OT, have to do with you being a shill account? are you accusing me of shilling----if so, who was i shilling? every post from you (post #2 onward) is shilling Bob, then trashing Vod. that was the subject.
But 90% or even 95% of your posts is spam with couple words(Of course you do that to get payment from signature campaign). Btw: just check SS. You have spam posts from 2013 year and from 2015 too. You still spamming nonsense
Cool story becouse you attack people and your account look like alt account. Really you should write here becouse you are just spammer and signature campaign abuser with nonsense posts.
I just wonder who alt are you.

i take exception with your characterization. anyone is free to look through my post history. if i posted a lot in the off-topic forum (and secondarily in giveaway threads), that is not against any rules. i am not a shill, and that is very obvious.

and it is not relevant to the fact that most of your post history is shilling one user: bob (and secondarily attacking vod)

if i'm an alt, you could never figure it out. because i don't shill people like you.
I just defend guy becouse u attack him without any fucking reason or evidence. This is not shill.
But you will dont understand this, too much spam in your head.
Just look on your posts. 100 % this account is alt make only for money.
First 4 posts are giveaway with adress?
And please dont spam more in my thread to get pay from signature campaign(btw:will send them post about your spam).

i didn't attack Bob. someone called you a shill and i agreed that most of your posts were shilling one person. that is true and i stand behind that statement.

my original post in this thread was completely on-topic. you then went on a childish tirade claiming that my posts are of low quality, so i responded. this is not spam. lol, go ahead and tell Bitmixer. he won't care. i would be over the 50 max posts paid anyway.

if you think my priority is to spam for money, why would i be in Bitmixer's campaign for 0.0007 per post? they pay much less than most campaigns. i support what they do and would rather advertise them than generic gambling sites or ponzi scams.
