The primary goal is to find aggressive all rounders and to earn money for BCCI. In my opinion it is okay to have only 4 foreign players and put an age cap to avoid the oldies. There are many young foreign talents who are not getting an opportunity here because IPL allows franchises to buy old or retired players. I think they should also do the same for Indians as most veterans are now playing as if it is a domestic cricket. I think the decision to have 4 foreign players in the squad is the perfect decision. Real Madrid is unlucky to be selected in a hard group (B), basically all the 4 teams are good and can qualify to the next stage. Group H and D are also a hard one. Group E and G are way easier so such results are expected from the favourites teams  let's be honest, Real madrid's group is not that good, borussia mönchengladbach and Shakhtar are not really top level teams, RMA lost in bernabeu against shakhtar, that shouldn't have happened, and the next game against would be without Benzima and Ramos, which would make it really tough for real madrid against a giant italian team, Inter milan, maybe Real Madrid can do something like Barcelona did with bench players. @boltz unfortunately it wasn't to be. They reserved their "best" for the second half but as usual Jan Oblak stood strong and Atletico's defence was on form. Messi wasn't the only one who looked tired (watched replays and highlight unfortunately these games always too late for me to catch live) the whole team looked so sluggish. Koeman needs to figure out how to keep our philosophy while still scoring. Back to drawing board for me.
Koeman is a good coach but Messi does not like him so the atmosphere at Barcelona right now is so bad that I think no one can restore it anymore. Messi looks like he does not enjoy football anymore and the fact that he doesn't really score anymore and gets yellow after yellow card tells a lot. I'm not a fan o Barcelona and I never was so I pretty much don't care about them but it's sad to see Messi in this situation... I am a Barca fan. I think Barcelona is having the worst time in their history now. There is a lot of internal strife in their team. This strife was started by Bartomeu. Messi does not want to play in Barcelona now.
