5161  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: January 01, 2019, 07:57:35 PM
Warning! Ranting ahead!

I am getting really pissed at the state of the markets. Despite positive news, the market is still pissing blood. Why?

Tons of videos on YouTube over and over again and again, hyping the crap out of this or that coin, anticipating something. But what for. The prices are not moving up when they should be.

What is the point of being excited when market is being manipulated by the most despicable creatures on the planet who see themselves above everyone else.

From my point of view it looks like TPTB saw people getting rich and becoming independent and they couldn't allow so many wealthy individuals in society so they came up with a plan to end this.

If you look at prices you can see how prices hardly change anymore. Heck most of the time Bitcoin prices remain at 0.00! in the hour! Why because they probably set up their bots to pump and dump their coins based on market movement to keep the price the same to prevent people from making money. This isn't so impossible to be true you know.

Just set up some bots and millions worth of money and when ever market provides a hint of an improvement dump it, and when even it going bad pump it. Keeping the prices relatively stable.

I mean why on Earth would anybody in their right mind sell, or setup their bots to sell when positive news is everywhere. It just doesn't make sense. It just an evil behavior that is all.

You see the tree and you are missing the forest. Over this 10 year period, the market has grown so much and made huge steps. More and more developers are getting involved in the blockchain industry, they try to bring new ideas and implement them in real applications. You have just seen the recent downturn and you lost your faith in the market. If you don't like you can sell your coins and leave. No one pushes you to stay.

I like projects like this very much when you don't have an advantage over the player. Still, I am very cautious when I can't realize how you make your profit in your platform. I mean, you have to get at least something for your operations or the maintenance of the platform. How do you face that? Is there any source of income that we are missing?
5163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: January 01, 2019, 03:11:11 PM
What will you do if after losing several times in gambling, you are left with only small amount of money and that money will be for your fuel or for transportation, will you still continue with the little you are left with? What if you lose?

Of course, you don't continue. To tell you the truth you should have stopped way earlier. Apart from, transportation money you should always have an amount in the bank if something will come up. Gambling is not about risking your life in your attempt to make a profit. Odds are usually against you and you should know it before you start gambling.
My saying is: Don't gamble money you can't afford losing.

Pulisic to Chelsea for 45M GBP.  Can't wait...  I've been waiting for that guy to be at the EPL.  He's like one of the most promising young players in Europe today.  I hope he doesn't flop.

Pulisic would be a good signing for Chelsea. If they want to become again a competitive team and win their second Champions League of their history they need to sign more top-class players. Another signing would be a player next to Kante that will be more creative in the attacking part. By signing 2-3 players for their squad then the Lion will rise again.
5165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 01, 2019, 01:39:54 PM
Everyone says that Liverpool is going to win the EPL. I don't think so, personally.  I can agree that they are in a great form and they play great football right now but they don't have a lot of stars to make a rotation for the next hard matches in the season. Man City has this possibility and this is giving them the advantage to perform better in all cups. If one of Liverpool's player gets injured, it will be hard to replace him and keep the same performance as the usual squad has.
5166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The danger is the addiction, not the odds on: January 01, 2019, 01:30:31 PM
Hi folks,

Yes, as the title says, I see a lot of negativity here with many people complaining. But the issue is not about the odds. You can win even when the odds are not in your favor.

I will explain: many random people everywhere in the world, managed on a random day to win at the national lottery, several millions $. Yet, the odds were not in their favor at all! National lotteries actually impose a much bigger margin (protection) to make sure they win more than they lose.

The point is: you can win big on a given day, if you get lucky. And yes luck strikes everywhere once in a while.

The main issue I see in those threads here is people totally addicted, investing a lot of money, chasing their losses, increasing their stakes after a loss.

The danger is the addiction, not the odds.

My opinion anyway.

I agree with your phrase that addiction is the danger and not the odds but these two variables are strongly correlated.

The odds are not in favor of you in order to play and play all the time because you think that you will win one time. But every time you lose and you bet again you get more addicted to gambling. Every individual who bets is somehow addicted (in my opinion). The best way to tackle it is self-control and by that, I mean that you don't have to bet all your savings. Lock the biggest portion and gamble with a small one. If you are lucky you will still win and make a profit.
5167  Other / Archival / Re: 🎲 Livecasino.io 🎲 on: December 31, 2018, 06:09:26 PM
Hey guys!

We introduce a brand new live casino games offering platform Livecasino.io

I was very interested in seeing and navigating around your casino. But when I pressed your referral link and visited your website, everything was in Japanese and it is really to find out where is the button to change the language of the site. I spent some time pressing various buttons but still I wasn't able to manage.
Is there a problem with the link or is it a fault on my side?
5168  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: EVERYBET.IO , is a BIG SCAM !! on: December 31, 2018, 05:53:24 PM
Hi - I was waiting for this post to appear. I take libellous posts such as the one you have made seriously. It is utterly unfounded.

You have created several accounts on our site and received a new customer bonus several times. Once we were able to link the accounts we requested you to provide documentation. As per our terms of service (3.3 and 12.3) you cannot have multiple accounts or commit bonus abuse.

This morning after opening an additional account you contacted our support questioning the whereabouts of your bonus. That wasn't a mistake. You were aware you had been on our site before and had previously created accounts.

You have attempted to abuse our site. It's as simple as that. If you contact live support I will tell them to process your withdrawal and to close your latest account.

First of all, the community needs more evidence from both parties. I am wondering though, how does everybet knows that this guy has multiple accounts and if you do know via IP address, why do you accept his deposit and let him play from an account that he will not be able to withdraw?

If you are afraid of the website and sign up bonuses abuse then you have to either not provide this bonus or ask for KYC in the first place. Otherwise, it seems that your actions are malicious and you are not protecting your customers. Not only the one that tries to abuse but all the others that play in your casino that "get abused".
5169  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: December 31, 2018, 04:36:28 PM
I am fed up of reading posts like OP. Bitcoin doesn't need a miracle. It is already well established and it is so strong that has a bigger value than the first ever launched of it.

How is it possible to see it as dead when such progress has happened all these years? It is just a one-year downturn and you say that it is dead.
5170  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency - future? on: December 31, 2018, 04:22:58 PM
To tell you the truth it is really hard to predict the future.

What I can say, is that as societies turn to be more in favor of digital way of payments and try to promote cashless transactions, the next step ahead is to turn to crypto payments. I believe that we are near to see a shop that will create a loyalty scheme with customers pay with the cryptocurrency that will be issued from the shop.

If something like this will happen, then we are very close to the crypto evolution!
5171  Economy / Economics / Re: Capitalism will make socialist ideals a reality on: December 31, 2018, 04:11:45 PM
Socialist countries may have happier citizens because their basic needs are covered and they wouldn't starve if they're out of the job, but you don't see much innovation coming out of these countries. Apple, Google, Facebook, Amazon-these are products of capitalism. People are abundantly awarded for their work because don't have to pay astronomical income taxes in capitalist countries.

The way I see it, this process is now on its way to making socialist values a reality. "Equality of the people" is among the most prioritized.

The latest technology being driven by financial gain seems to be AI and VR/AR technology. This will be the great equalizer of the people. Things will become much cheaper to produce, and once-exclusive experiences will be available to everyone for very cheap. All things are on their way to becoming accessible to all people in the developed world, due to the inherently low cost of digital assets.

Thoughts on this?

You can't see any innovative technological advance from the socialist countries because they aren't so much right now. We have capitalism all around the world and this trend moves the global economy. In the past years, USSR had many innovations that were coming from scientists that were living there, the problem is that these ideas were filtered a lot from their leaders.
5172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: December 31, 2018, 12:14:20 PM
Ok! I was actually trying to get reasons why people get addicted to gambling which we all know is more self inflicted. However, I came up with this theory for someone who may actually want to gamble and then would not want to get addicted based on trying to fix their mentality about it and I would like to seek your opinion on what you think about it, if it can actually end up working for any gambler or not.

The theory is;
If you want to gamble, see it more like you are paying the casino or gambling platform to have some fun (just like you do to go watch some movies in cinema), which if you are paying for anything, you are not meant to expect it back. The good thing however is that, you can actually end up being paid more for having that fun if you get lucky, but the chances of seeing that happen is pretty slim. In that light, if you cannot actually live with doing what I said above, then you should not be gambling at all.

Does this sound like a mentality that can help anyone understand what they are in for if they indeed want to gamble or something even those who are tending towards addiction can set their mind to so as not to get into that deep gambling hole that is hard to come out from?

I agree with your theory. However, gambling is strictly correlated with the chances of making a profit. There are many kinds of research and studies that show that people who are living in poor societies gamble more. With your theory, this service should be more for the rich people that can afford to pay for this service and eventually have fun. Gambling is a matter of expectations in my opinion, for getting something that is missing from you.
5173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A cryptocurrency entirely dedicated to GAMBLING? on: December 31, 2018, 11:55:22 AM
An idea came onto my mind, and it consists about a currency that is entirely dedicated onto gambling and also betting, I did not search through the web if there is actually a crypto that has done this. Gambling is a thing that the people love to do, whether if it is in the casino or online, but have you ever thought of a crypto that will serve as your main currency whether if it is in the casino or it is on online, I think this could also be beneficial for the gamblers as well, I wanna know about what you think of my idea, whether if it is a positive or negative opinion, I will still take it.

I don't think there is a real use of such a coin. It limits its functions and eventually the target market that it refers to. I like betting and gambling with coins with high levels of scalability because I want to bet instantly and many times I gamble the last seconds before bets are closed. My most preferred coins are TRX and EOS right now.
5174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 31, 2018, 11:21:53 AM
I think the race to qualify for the Uefa Champions League next season among the English Premier League teams would be very intense as Manchester United are starting to pick up a lot of points after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer became the new manager at Manchester United, they are starting to catch up with Arsenal on the table now with 35 points, even though Chelsea is currently holding the 4th spot with 43 points on the table, but Arsenal and Manchester United could still catch up with Chelsea fairly easily if Chelsea mess up a few games.

I'll agree the race for the fourth spot has just caught pace, had Manchester United yet been under Mourinho I'm sure all three matches would have ended in defeat. There're three people responsible for Manchester United revival Ole Solskjaer, Mike Phelan and Paul Pogba these three have united to lift the club up. I feel if Tottenham also suffers losses along with Chelsea it'll get really interesting.

I expected that Tottenham will be competitive this year in the chase of the championship title. They seem inadequate and I hope that Chelsea is going to win against them. As Far as Man.Utd is concerned, it is noticeable that the players didn't want Mourinho to seat on the bench. This was probably due to mismanagement that he did (we saw that many times in different clubs that he was in charge of).

I can't see a fight for the 4th place. I believe that Man. Utd can't compete. Chelsea or Tottenham will be at 3rd and 4th places at the end of the season.
5175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes enough is enough on: December 31, 2018, 11:14:35 AM
Don't go to the ATM. If you don't have the self control to not do that, then leave your bank cards at home. Go out gambling with a set amount of hard cash - if you run out of cash, and have no bank cards on you, then you have no option but to go home.

This is the best way to control your addiction. The first time I went to the casino I have my bank card with me and I couldn't resist to make a withdrawal after losing my initial fund. Next time, I realized that going with a certain amount of cash in my pocket (the one that I can afford losing) is the best choice I had. Winning or losing will give you some fun and high rates of adrenaline, then it's time to go home.
5176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler was being robbed on: December 31, 2018, 11:07:10 AM
Recently, a Korean National has been robbed here in my place while riding the Taxi going home and lose the money that he won in the casinos, Its around 4Million Pesos or $75,000. This is not new in gambling industry since many incidents like this before. Do you ever think its a real accident or its just an inside job where the employees of casinos are involve or the casino itself?

This is a once in a lifetime opportunities to become a millionaire, and yet it is being taken easily by a more greedy people. Now I’m wondering if its still safe to go to casinos or better to play online? What’s your thought about this?

Here’s the link for your reference (it’s not translated in english but I’ve already share the summary of this news):
https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/balitambayan/balita/679284/koreanong-nanalo-ng-p4m-sa-casino-hinoldap-sa-pasay/story/

Every place where you gamble covers its own risks. In the case, you mention it's not so "Hot" news as no one can blame that he was robbed by the people that own the casino.
Think of a hacker stealing the crypto of a gambler's wallet. Everyone would scream that cryptocurrencies are not safe etc.

I am not surprised by this incident, casino owners are a little bit "dirty" to do this business.
5177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The way to win in gambling on: December 31, 2018, 09:28:24 AM
Thinking positively doesn't ensure you that you are going to win in gambling because it mostly depends on the game you are playing. If you refer to a game of luck then thinking positively will be probably a good strategy (although it doesn't guarantee success). If you are playing a mind game like poker, your strategy doesn't work because you have to use your mind as well when playing.
5178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share experience about gambling sites chat on: December 31, 2018, 09:24:03 AM
I am using Luckygames lately. I have a good impression so far playing dice and giving me many options to customize my bet in autoroll. However, I don't suggest to play on autoroll if you are trying to make profits and not only have some fun. It is better to customize your bets by yourself instead of leaving it rolling by itself.
There are many friendly Moderators that can assist you with any problem it might come up and this prompted me to continue playing there. As long as you are assured that you will not be left alone when your bet is stuck, it is sure that you are gonna have the best betting experience.
5179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: December 31, 2018, 09:14:28 AM
I am an NBA fan and this thread is what I was asking for and thank you very much for providing it for free as well. As win-lose bets provide very little odds especially when the teams that play are a strong and a weak one, is there a chance to post some other bets like over-under points in the whole game or something like that?
5180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is the best Auto-Bot Dice strategy? on: December 30, 2018, 02:28:40 PM
Hello guys,

I generally use some form of Martingale on auto bots, but they eventually tend to lose!
I'm trying to figure out a strategy to overcome them using a combination of target & break strategy! (after achieving a mini target taking some break)

If you know any other successful strategy which you're using feel free to mention it.

Thanks.

Hello. I think that there is not an option to make a profitable strategy by using an Auto-roll. I have seen that casinos do not offer so many functions of the autoroll and it is normal as they want to protect the game of bugs.
I have played Dice with Autoroll trying with martingale by playing at 50% and changing side every time the number is <15 close to the next side. This strategy can be done manually but I haven't found a casino yet where I can put all this information and make it autoroll.
