5161  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: March 01, 2016, 10:58:33 PM
Hello Everyone,

Can anyone tell me that 20 posts/day is calculated from which time?

I mean is it 12 am to 12 am forum time?

What is the starting time of posts count?

Thanks.
It's completely random. Once you enter your UID on yobit campaign, every check it will see whether or not your sig and little message thing is there, then count posts. Occasionally the checking is slower, but don't worry. Generally it counts midday, morning and evening. For my time that is.

Nobody would go to specifically check for the calculation time. Just be glad that you're even in a campaign right now because if you get kicked out for spam, well, theres nowhere else to go, at least for now.

5164  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: March 01, 2016, 09:14:51 PM
compared to the s7 heat output the output from the s5 is like a warm summer breeze.
And that's why I dont have antminer s7s. Sure, my fan mod sucks and the s5s I have run hot, but I can't imagine how hot s7s run. How hot is the back of it? I hear its REEEALY hot Smiley
Of course, if it isnt I may consider buying one and adding to my rig- Mining is only a hobby for me.
5165  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: surfprofit.eu scam or legit ? on: March 01, 2016, 08:52:35 PM
Without even looking I assume this is a scam. 0.0016 bitcoin isnt crap and just like mining, you will lose money through electricity even if the service is legit. payout is very high and they'll probably never pay you. They'll wait till lots of people reach the payout and run. Essentially they'll gain money from you watching ads and when they have what they need, theyll run off with the ad revenue.
5166  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Techniques on Earning BTC?? on: March 01, 2016, 08:49:45 PM
Signature campaigns are easy money if you know how and what to say. Here's a tip if you're interested: Dont post if you dont have anything to say. People often post in threads and dont have anything good to say and what the say doesnt add to the conversation. Don't be that guy, by helping the community you will earn more over time than you would ever earn just posting randomly and/or spamming.
5167  Economy / Services / Re: Paying $0.05 worth of BTC for very simple signup (Paid: $1.4) on: March 01, 2016, 08:44:22 PM
I have sent you a pm. Truly interested in the site. Assuming it doesn't have any phone verification, i'll do it. Even if it does im typing on my phone right now Smiley
5168  Other / Archival / [WTB] Hashnest Coupons on: March 01, 2016, 08:40:49 PM
I know all the coupons expire on March 2, but i'll buy them. I'll pay 0.003 btc for each coupon assuming that they are s7.
If there are any that expire later, i'll buy those for 0.007 each. My budget is currently a bit low, but I expect to have more soon. Cheesy
5169  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: March 01, 2016, 01:46:57 AM
Well shit, this is really putting a hitch into m plans. I need the funds I get from this to trade. I don't know why exactly the buttons broken I do hope its fixed soon.

Also not all of us are spammers, but simply have no better option. This is better than nothing as sadly there is nothing else for us and I'd rather make the tiny fraction that I'm paid here as opposed to nothing. I don't shitpost 1 liners unless there is really nothing else to say, I contribute just like everyone SHOULD be.
I believe that whatever is going on right now is a GOOD thing. We're highlighting the spammers and 1-liners out in this forum and the campaign moderator can remove those people promptly. People like you and me are not generally spammers, but if you read my post just up there, nobody joined bitcointalk for the signature campaign. If you did, shame (sorta). This forum was created for bitcoin and not signature campaigns. There are other places for the shitposters here, and if you do shitpost, you've clearly made your decision and the campaign moderator will remove you sooner or later.
I know I have been posting a lot recently, but I am clearly not spamming, in fact I love this community and I am trying to help.I am trying to sort this situation out and make it less, because clearly this community just blew up around the button.
Just remember that its not worth being removed from the campaign just because you need those funds for trading. Better times will come.
If you're going to quit, don't quit with spam. THAT is what makes this community worse.
5170  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: March 01, 2016, 01:43:40 AM
its already tuesday at my place and still the withdrawal button is not working !

I would really like to see a overhaul in Yobit Support Management team

Being a reputed exchange they should have some people on place to address to members queries !
Please read my long but informative post I had just posted a while ago. Be calm and everything will be fixed. Take a coffee break or play a video game. This has happened in the past and it has been fixed, has it not? Hillariousandco just said there are people he will be removing from the signature campaign in the next few weeks because of all this bitching about the button and shitposting. So please stop complaining. It's not getting you anywhere. If anything, you're building up more bitcoin in your yobit balance and at withdrawal soon, you'll enjoy a shit pile of bitcoins. Paitence is key. Also read my post Cheesy
5171  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: March 01, 2016, 01:40:43 AM

We should start putting in more effort now. There's no point in bitching about the button unless you want to be removed from the campaign. I don't know about you, but yeah, i'd want to stay. There's nothing else to fall back on, and you don't have anywhere else to go, so we should all man up and do some better posts, or deal with it and get kicked out of yobit. I've already made my decision, I hope you guys will follow me and do what hillariousandco says we should do.
It's just such a big nuisance when a little button breaks and people start posting one-liners about it. Don't you have anything else to do? I didn't join this forum for money, and I don't think you did either. I joined to have fun and talk about bitcoin, not about some little button that everybody is shouting about. So stop, and don't post more crap about this button. You can't fix it, and neither can I, so just wait and it will all be resolved.

-- PLEASE READ THIS, I HAVE A FEELING YOU WILL APPRECIATE ME POSTING THIS.--

See my post back here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1036113.msg14047249#msg14047249

None othem has even took time to read that. The eve made a pointless debate about how it should be stopped. They are taking advantage of every situation that they can make their post looks like they are making a point. Just read through the comments after I posted my rant about how they are asking the same things all over, they are spitting useless shits just to get their post count up and what pissed me off is that they are really illogical as someone who should be an educated person in this forum.
People really don't embrace the community as much anymore. Jeez, we didn't even have signature campaigns a while back! be grateful you're even being offered a chance to earn bitcoin through posting! Many people don't have the opportunity to do this or have ruined it through shitposting 1-liners. Don't be that guy. I know nobody will listen to this because none of you guys care enough about this post. All you care about is that damn button and how it doesn't work. You guys are like that one old guy on my street. He ain't got nothin to say but complain.
5172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] How to rank up your account without spamming. on: March 01, 2016, 12:41:02 AM
How does activity effect rank ?? I mean how do i know how long and how well i must post for in order to reach a certain rank ? Thank you.
This is explained here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

The short of it is you can earn a max of 14 points every 2 weeks.  There is no magic method of ranking up quickly (short of buying somebody's account).  It takes time and posts.

The way they explain it doesn't make sense to me,

time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Number of two week periods ?? Would  that mean 2 weeks it 1 ? so 6 weeks is 3 ?
Since registration ? So the older the better ?

To me it sounds like time= Account age in weeks / 2
 Huh Huh Undecided
I've been posting here the last 4 days consistently and stayed at 140 activity.  I have to take into consideration the fact that I have been offline for the last 8 months a while ago, but still, I haven't moved up any activity yet.
Don't get me wrong, i'm perfectly fine with being full member, its just that I feel like the activity calculator is slightly off.
btw I created this acc in January 2015 when I discovered bitcoin. Found mining was pointless, quit, found bitcoin again and became what I am today. Smiley
Surprising thing was, I went from junior member to member in just a few post. That's how easy and exploitable the activity system is nowadays...
5173  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] (4) Bitmain Antminer S3s in Southern California (possibly shipping in US) on: March 01, 2016, 12:36:56 AM
Price dropped to $190 for all (4) plus shipping.
How much for one? I'd be interested if you'd sell me just one. I have enough S3s for now, but you never know.. Might have a dead miner on my hands with this south carolina heat + o.c-ing Cheesy
5174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unconfirmed Transactions For 8 hours! on: February 29, 2016, 11:13:12 PM
Probably because you are using funds that aren't confirmed in the first place.
That may be caused because you don't know what you're doing or because you are using a bad wallet like blockchain.info

BAD?!?! -gasp- HOW COULD YOU?
---------
Yeah, I gotta admit that blockchain isn't the best wallet.
Blockchain, like many wallets, doesn't let you spend outputs whose inputs are not confirmed.
Supposing that you have collected this transaction from many smaller transactions, check the inputs for the transaction. I guarantee there will be unconfirmed imputs.

September- Earth, Wind and Fire
Nuff said. September is one of the best songs i've ever heard and it's truly a shame that Maurice White died. I will always remember him and dance in september every year. Just cause Smiley

If I have one tip for all of you ponzi-lovers out there, do not EVER invest in the same ponzi more than once. Sure, you may be tempted to double your already-doubled ten bucks into twenty, but it's not worth it. Try as well to diversify your investments just like in real life. If stock traders only invested in one stock, where would we be now? Smiley
5177  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer S7 Setup [HD] on: February 29, 2016, 10:20:20 PM
I'm sorry if this has already been discussed, but I want to be clear on this.

I'm new to bitcoin mining and have the following setup:
I live in a small apartment and have an s5 that I'm using with a fan mod (2X Noctua NF-F12's in a push-pull config)and underclocking it @ a frequency of 343.75.
It's running at an ambient temp of 76, and it's been like that for several months. So far it's been working fine with no errors.

I'm looking to upgrade to an s7, but I have some concerns about the temp, the noise, and mainly the power.

From what I've read the s7 requires at least 205V to operate, and many people have added an addition 25A circuit to their breaker box in order to accommodate this.

Since I live in an apartment, adding a 25A circuit is not an option for me, but my dryer outlet is 220V @ 30A. Do you think it's possible for me to use a converter on the outlet to run my s7?

Any CONSTRUCTIVE advice would be appreciated.

Please don't post anything about me winning the lottery and buying a house right now, because that's not within my realm of possibilities ATM.

To be honest I am not completely sure. I'm supposing (assumption is a powerful force) that this is possible for you, but hey, assumption can kill a miner as well. Noise should not be an issue, but the fan rpm is pretty slow and there should be higher rpm quiet fans out there that will cool better, so you'll be able to run without under or overclocking. Ambient temp is a bit high, and if you got a higher rpm fan it should cool down to near 60 and the life of the antminer will be extended. Antminers were never meant to be home miners, so don't expect too much out of them.
5178  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: dose mining software work ? on: February 29, 2016, 10:13:10 PM
how expensive is the hardware ?
and how much bandwidth dose it need ?

That really doesn't matter, because even if it was a 50 core Xeon server, it wouldn't be anything. Pool mining with that will make you lose money in one of the dumbest ways possible besides gambling. ASICs have taken over bitcoin and it's still a wonder how people have not figured this out completely yet.
5179  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: dose mining software work ? on: February 29, 2016, 10:10:20 PM
One does not mine with computers any more. Computers just act as controllers for running dedicated mining hardware called ASICs.
Dangit ck, why you always post before me??! qq
As ck said (dangit man!) computers are dwarfed by ASICS. You won't make anything with the server running cpuminer even for a whole year. You won't lose money and you wont earn any (If at all anything happens, YOU WILL LOSE. BIG TIME.).
If you even remotely want to mine with an ASIC now, try to find some usb miner like the Gekko Compac or Block Erupter or even an Antminer USB. That's the place to start now. It's hard to even get shares now with even top notch gaming pcs.

Do not trust people with files like that, especially if ts only a binary and not anything else, ESPECIALLY from a newbie. There could be a virus in there, you never know. Go the safe way and.. yeah.
IP could have changed. Look at your router and check its ip.
