5161  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Websites Ranking // PROS and CONS // - ITS BACK! on: October 08, 2019, 08:18:33 PM
Any updates or new reviews?

At the start OP was very active but lately no more updates. This and the previous topic were very helpful.
Dont expect for updates or new reviews because OP was last online on the day he posted out this topic so theres no chance to see an updated one.
I agree to those selections though yet most of them are the old trusted gambling site until to these days but as years passed by there are new gambling sites
which are trying to cope up with the competition.I cant mentioned them all but for sure theyre already there.
5162  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Initial Offerings Overpriced? on: October 08, 2019, 07:18:57 PM
we can say that because the price after that down, the project team must have reviewed and calculated the funds needed for development
many investors discourage new projects because they feel it has a big risk

Indeed, it was all risky investment and what's sad about those so-called offerings fails after the project launched. Participants felt being cheated when they observed the expensive ico price after being listed at exchanges didn't gain a promising price, sadly it went so low. This had made many previous investors hesitant when they've heard business offerings promoting this type of investment schemes.
Participants who did not deal with researching before investing with new offer projects will regret after failing to gain profits. Initial offerings that held from big exchange or reputable exchange have a higher chance to bring good outcomes. Don't just spend your money, always check the possibilities if the project  have potential to succeed, even if the value is overpriced if there's a good chance of success it's still profitable in the long run.
Long run results would be still on 50% chance if it would succeed or not and to admit that it do need some sort of hype before they do able to achieve that pumping situation.
Talking about their prices, they do normally set out that casual numbers basing on their entire supply just like on what we had seen on typical ICO pricing.
Im not saying overpriced but if you do look at it generally these shit tokens should really have no value but people do set out price via thin air.
5163  Other / Off-topic / Re: {Warning}: Vulnerabilities found on password manager LassPass on: October 08, 2019, 12:55:23 PM
It depends. Is it open source software that uses a tried and true method of encryption, or does it use a proprietary algorithm?

Keep in mind that a USB is also inconvenient. If you're using a non personal computer and needed to access your accounts, you likely wouldn't be able to connect the USB to your phone to find your passwords. Most password managers have apps that you can use.

Sorry for the late response.
Actually, I use Kingston's DT Locker+ G3 Secure USB Flash Drive with Cloud Backup which gives me top-notch security with their DataVault Security password protection software where, once set, you cannot derive the data without entering the password because it encrypts all the data inside the USB and only allows you to see it if you know the password. The only catch is that you need to remember the password because if you lose it, you lose the entire data as if you try to set up a new password (and even if someone who stole your USB tries to do it), it will immediately wipe off all the data inside and open the USB with a completely new session for the sake of maintaining security of the data in USB.
This might be an old response but i would like to thank you about on sharing this up.I didnt expect that Kingston do have this kind of USB drive which do had that kind of feature.
Unluckily i havent able to find this usb on my local marketplace. This is what im looking for in regards with extra security where i do love that auto-wipe feature when someone do tend to bruteforce it out.
5164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 ways to help you not be emotionally dominated when trading cryptocurrencies on: October 07, 2019, 03:22:22 PM
I think to not be affected if we are into investment or trading.  Every money we allocated on that investment/trading, think of it as already gone and move on.  That way, whatever happen on that fund, it won't affect us negatively.  That is the simplest action to take, i don't know why we need it to be complicated. If we don't want it to affect our family, then better to invest our excess.  Don't compromise the family budget.
I can say that this kind of behavior isnt really that kind of flawless where you do think that those funds are already gone when you do invest it because
if you do think up this way your seriousness on how to make money would be surely affected.Lets say that you do make yourself emotionless but
in exchange you wont really be that keen on how to make crucial decisions that will benefit you out since you dont care on what would be the outcome
or simply you do just play gambling if ever you do have this kind of traits.
5165  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price fluctuations - Opportunity or despair? on: October 07, 2019, 02:27:49 PM
How do we term this phase of crypto currency wherein all the altcoins are bleeding including the mighty Ethereum but Bitcoin is trending strange wherein when we expect no recovery it's pumping up (short-lived) and then we witness falls and these falls are not quick they fall gradually and then raise gradually as well which has led to frequent price fluctuations. are these price fluctuations a boon for us to make use of it and trade in order to achieve profits or else it's a despair situation wherein we are clueless and don't know what to do ?
Always believe in “Buy Low Sell High” no matter what happens this is the safest and best way to profit specially if you can atleast hold for months or years
Look at the market now even the King bitcoin is bleeding and not only you mighty ethereum
So above all your capacity to hold and wait is what will saves you in this kind of fluctuations
So if you have extra money?take the chance now and buy altcoins to add in your folio
There's no such thing about safest and best way to profit with this very speculative market.Ofcourse there would be still a risk
because we cant even point out on which price would be considered to be the bottom.BTC and other alts do always been good on breaking
investors expectations yet it can breakout nor slump its price unexpectedly.Buy low sell high sounds pretty basic but can you actually
apply it out on this very bearish market? Im sure you would be still hesitant.
5166  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: October 07, 2019, 01:41:33 PM
Can I get free Lamborghini without risking losing anything?

Nope, you must wager at least 0.005 BTC to get 1 golden ticket, buy one or deposit 0.05 BTC.
You can get 1 free Golden ticket for every 0.05 BTC you deposit. As you don't have to wager that, so the tickets you get are free tickets.
By the way, this opportunity is not always available.

So one golden ticket will cost you 0.05 BTC which is roughly 400 dollars. This is not a small amount and i do not think one ticket is enough to win a Lamborghini. There may be whales who may use more than a BTC to get few tickets and this will make our chances close to zero. (Those who do not have much money to invest)
For me, getting Lamborghini from freebitco is a dream which may never come true.
Whales would really always have the advantage not only to these raffles or promotions but also on all sorts of contest. They do always have the edge but it doesnt mean
that small players wouldnt have the chance on hitting that lambo.Yes, its small but at least you do have the chance and who knows if you do able to snatch that golden chance.
5167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bad habits from devs with bounty rewards on: October 07, 2019, 12:53:38 PM
I want to warn bounty hunters about bounty projects that pays bounty rewards to their platform or websites instead of ETH contract address, they mostly go against their words and you have no control over the tokens even if you have your login details..
Those who promoted Cryptomarketads(CMA) and Moozicore(MZG) knows what i'm talking about, i have decide to stop promoting such projects
Payment of shit tokens neither on a website or contract address doesnt really matter because if the team do intend out to pay their bounty hunters on the first place then they wont surely pay in the end and thats how this bounty hunting sucks bigtime.

This is why bounty hunting nowadays is just useless yet most of them do end up on not paying. There were still some few numbers which are paying but their tokens
doesnt really have that much value for you to have that worthy payout on your hard work.So its better not to stress out yourself on joining on one of these.
5168  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CryptoTalk started paying its users for posting. on: October 07, 2019, 12:21:15 PM

I imagine the winner finishing with 10000 post because of the prize.

Imagine working with your entire family non stop posting crap only to get banned on the 29th.  Shocked

I hope the moderators will do their job and consider the quality of the post more than the quantity, that should be the way or if they will consider quantity over quality, even if they have hundreds of moderators they cannot keep up with the number of post-flooding their forum
they should consider banning people, from the start to protect the integrity of forum.
For now their forum is just starting up and they do focus out quantity over quality for sure and the budget they had allocated is just really small thats why
they dont care on what most people do think off about spam. All they do care is to make their forum to be included on first page search or higher.
They might consider on cleaning it out but for now they do just let these spamming getting worst as day passed by.
5169  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.3 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: October 07, 2019, 11:35:18 AM
while I can't say the same about the guy who took the 50th place, and, actually, about anyone not belonging to the top 3. Starting from the 4th place, the prize is less than 1% of the wagered amount, so it's possible that those guys lost more in the process than the prize they received. But let's hear from them though.
That is definitly true, users from 4th to 50th place won't have made any money this time (statistically of course). Would be very nice if someone eg. from the top 10 could post statistics about what he spent and what he earned (price and winnings) Smiley
If top wagerers are on the line between profit and negative then we can presume on what are the status of those who are on lower places. We cant fully conclude generally but majority of them didnt make any money.
5170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading platform? on: October 07, 2019, 10:41:08 AM
If Binance was smooth and good for you why are you looking for an alternative? Anyway, the altcoin exchanges that are pretty okay based on my experience and are decently reputable are Huobi Global(HBG), OKEx, and probably Bittrex(though I haven't used it in a year). But as always, do your due diligence when it comes to any exchanges.
I want to say the same.If he do already have smooth experience with Binance then why he do still look for other exchange? Stick to it on where you do feel comfortable and suit out your needs.Answering up the question then i would go with Okex my next choice.
5171  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do you think Bitcoin.com is worth, what price would Roger sell? on: October 04, 2019, 07:02:39 PM
Never in the history has a domain ever sold for anywhere near that amount.

Cars.com as business (valued at $2.5 billion) was sold where the valuation of the domain itself was reported as $872 million. If we ever get to see bitcoin dot com get sold, it will be done through a similar construction, because if you sell just the domain without a working business it's worth waaaay less.

I don't think any entity within crypto has the capital needed to acquire this domain including the businesses, unless they throw in shares of their own company to tempt Roger to sell it. If we get to witness a takeover, it will probably be an institution or large social media platform. I rather see Roger keep it in his portfolio than for example Facebook or Google.
No single entity would able to buy it for sure but im not saying that there were no billionaires out there.Asking for Billion does really need some justification but as you said if its just a domain then its way too less as expected.Giving out shares is really a tempting one but with Ver current standing i dont see that he would care for such offer but were pretty sure that there were already big institutions that eyeing out this domain. Its might not be that expensive or worth billions but this one can give a fortune if its being utilized well.
5172  Economy / Gambling / Re: Moolah.Bet on: October 04, 2019, 06:09:13 PM
only 4% house edge on dice sir.

Why I feel that you are so proud saying that 4% house edge? I do not think that 4% house edge is worth to play actually. Because you are being the second rank with the highest house edge for dice games. May be you are not focusing on the dice but still there will be players that are going to play them besides your slot. Btw is there any chance that you are going to lower it like a normal dice game? 4% house edge feel like too much though unless you are offering something good in return
4% HE for Dice game is really high which is next to Freebitco.in hi and lo game.Majority of big dice sites now having 0.5%-1% HE.
So this one already a hard sell.If they would able to pull up some nice perks and bonuses then it would be considerable.
I havent tried to check out their slots though yet im not really much interested on those things.

5174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: xPPx Free Money Thread on: October 04, 2019, 02:52:57 PM
Thank you. Yeah, 3-0 is a small sample size. Let’s see where I’m at after 1,000 picks lol. As far as the title, it is TongueInCheek. I’m just giving out very selective predictions for free. If they get offended by a silly thread title, then they can leave. Or they can pay for my picks and I will change the title to suit their preference. Good luck!
Got hooked also with that Free money thread. It will be more appropriate if you put up xPPx Tipster thread instead.First time to see this thread though
and you do have some good start on here. 3-0 stats isnt that bad. Do you have picks for today?

Edit: I didnt notice that you already give one above.
5175  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit "trading" - buying and selling Bitcointalk merit on: October 04, 2019, 12:21:46 PM
Buying sMerit shows that their posts are not quality and those who sell use sMerit for personal gain.
the existence of sMerit will be a good advantage for participants who want to try to make high-quality posts, and sMerit as a sign of prizes, and for participants who have a lot of sMerit will have a positive effect so participation is easily accepted in any application because it can be trusted.
and must be given severe sanctions for those who sell and buy sMerit.
Main motive why merit system is being created is due to avoid abuse of this forum like account farming where it was rampant wayback before
since accounts can easily rank up with just having that activity measure and its been abused by many in terms of selling it thats why theymos decided to
overhaul the ranking system which you would need sufficient merit for you to rank up if not then you would stay with your rank forever.

One benefits of having lots of merits is the one thing you say where most signature campaigns would recognized you out since having lots merits
does mean your a quality poster which a company would definitely need.Abuse? Non surprising as long people can make money to it there would always be a way.
5176  Economy / Reputation / Re: Admin's Temperament on: October 04, 2019, 10:57:57 AM
I have discovered some nice project admin, one will like  to work with them, they take their time to respond to you as each person is important to them, likewise, I have noticed from the responses and interaction of some project manager and bounty admin some hash responses, sometimes they may react to your messages as if you had issues before, and this should not be, they act like we have enough people who likes our project. We know some members may also be provoking but not all. In the same vein. Should admin too be so temperamental?
Each person do have different behavior, you might able to face up some good and too emotional/short tempered ones but on a business like this they shouldnt
behaved like that because it will affect out the entire community if one of the leaders or admins will act just like that.It might be a basic one but this one give some
impressions towards the project. Also these managers and admin are just being hired which they dont have the right to act one but there are circumstances where solely the admin is the one who do handle out their own project.
5177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC Process (Sportsbook) on: October 03, 2019, 09:22:57 PM
I don't really take KYC in gambling sites but it is needed sometimes if you win big(in which I haven't experienced since I didn't get the chance to have a big prize). But refer to the old sites such as bitsler, bitvest they don't ask KYC. And in stake and primedice since they are of the same owner, they are asking KYC if you win big.
Are they asking out KYC when you win big into those sites you've mentioned? You make me laugh dude!
They dont ask out any documentation or further verification if you win big to those sites and majority of old gamblers do knows that
specially to those who have been playing for years unless if you done something shady then there would be a possibility of verification.
Heavy KYC requirement does only being implied strictly with fiat based casinos/bookies.
5178  Economy / Gambling / Re: 2dice.io - new design - new impressions! Play for free, test your luck on: October 03, 2019, 05:55:22 PM
Main common problems for most gambling sites.Do you say lack of promotion specialist? Ive seen that you had some signature campaign
on this forum and been stopped as you mentioned you do lack of budget- sounds too bad but you should face up on what are the possible outcome that
do happen yet not all business would end up well.
I think the problem here is that the owner is risking something hoping in return that the site would run smoothly but it turns out that it didn't. So now they are forced to sell or close down because they were lacking funds to continue. It's just sad to think that after all they've been through it ends up like this.

Anyway OP, if the site is fine why not find someone who can fill the gap in your site? I mean there are ways to get some funds to sustain it for a little bit.

Searching for a specialist does not bring results. the budgets requested are huge. I can safely offer the specialist revenue sharing - but everyone wants to pay in advance and of course without guarantees of the results of the promotion company)))
but if there is an enthusiast, I will gladly cooperate.
No one would deal on such set-up knowing that the site doesnt have any guarantees if it would generate income or not.So its just normal for these specialist to demand
payment upfront with either bitcoin and other top valuable alts.No worker/marketeer would give out guarantees of success or outcome out of their work and as a business owner
this is part of the risk that you should able to take. You are making a business here and its always accompanied neither success or failure.
5179  Economy / Gambling / Re: 2dice.io - new design - new impressions! Play for free, test your luck on: October 03, 2019, 04:50:28 PM
No, the project is working. but he doesn’t get a promo, I hope he will soon fall into good hands and will get up)) I have already received several requests ..
nothing changes for players !!!! I personally control the obligations to you
It's not a long time you have launched your gambling website. Now after only a short time you are talking about selling your project. What is going on is not a good sign and indicates that you have not reached your goals.
If you want to sell your website, you should have done this privately. Making a public announcement here on bitcointalk has a very bad effect on reputation of your website. From now, no one will join this website and everyone who has already a member of your website, will leave you immediately after getting aware of this.

Selling a website publicly is even better than selling it privately IMO. By make it public, people knows that there will be a new owner of the site. How can it give bad effect and reputation just because they try to sell it publicly? Mind to elaborate it in more details like what are the bad effects and what kind of reputation they may get from selling the site publicly while they did not do something bad since they launched the site months ago?

In general whenever a business changes owners its never a good thing. People will start to wonder how will the new owners treat their Bitcoins? Will they one day just run-off with them?

Remember what happened with Poloniex when they got bought by the parent company of Goldman Sachs? Around that time they froze withdraws for every account that wasn't verified, which was probably 99% of all their clients. It was a headache getting your money back even if you followed the verification procedure because it took months and crypto took a huge dive in that time.

The issue with 2dice.io is that I don't see why they are selling their site after such a short while of staying online? Generally its bad from an accounting point of view because it signals that the site isn't turning a profit and hence why its for sale rather than just close down.

there are no problems with 2dice.io, this is an honest game, and many players have already seen this. the problem is the lack of a promotion specialist and the lack of a sufficient budget for the promotion
5180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinexchange.io is Closing Down. Official announcement. on: October 03, 2019, 02:44:45 PM
So "another one bites the dust".

Haven't used this trading platform so I can't really say any comment's how good or bad this exchanges is. The good thing though is that they quickly inform their customers that they are officially shutting down and give time for them to withdraw their money.

I don't think it's about competition though, the only reason is that we are in the bear market so obviously no money is coming in or at least the funds is not enough to sustain their exchanges, so to cut their losses it seems that this is the logical thing to do.

But then again, we have hundreds of exchanges out there that are willing to take the spot so most likely we won't feel the gap here, just saying.

I cant say that competition isnt a factor why these exchangers close its doors.Due to number of exchangers on the current market as of today and no business will risk out
or continually to operate if they do know that they are losing money of such act.

Competition is always been part of the reason because if it werent out of competition then they would have sufficient users on the platform that would give out profits on their side and able to maintain or sustain to operate for more longer.

This should how services do treat up their users in the end of times. All should be announced and give the proper time to withdraw and give back all of users funds which is the right thing to be done.
