5161  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: If you love Bee and wish help ecosystem join us Beekeeping Plaftorm on: July 14, 2019, 04:51:49 PM
I don't like bees, but I love honey and the bees are very important for the environment.
I don't think that you are going to achieve anything by just launching an ICO regarding that topic.
Usually I don't trust such projects, but if your intentions are sincere,I wish you good luck with this project.
5162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One week in Bitcoin July 2019 on: July 14, 2019, 04:47:08 PM
I guess that the current FUD wave across social and mainstream media will take over bitcoin again. The bitcoin price started going down. The buying pressure and FOMO disappeared.I don't care about the opinions of Trump and JP Morgan Chase.Trump is an ignorant retard, while JP Morgan is anti-bitcoin for the last 3 years.
5163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: More Exchanges Keep coming up( benefits or loss) on: July 14, 2019, 11:49:43 AM
As more tokens keep coming into the market, it is assumed that more cyptocurrency exchanges will raise. this, we all know have a risk effect which is that hackers are empowered to try their luck especially on vulnerable ones. The good side is that more tokens has the oportunity of getting listed on exchanges.
example; NCHT( nano healthcare)  project just got listed on etherbase exchange.

I don't understand the mindset of all those crypto exchange platform owners. They can't beat the giants,so why are they starting such risky business? They can't offer anything more in terms of new features or added value, they don't have the money to invest in improvements.
It looks like most of the small new exchanges are going to be nothing more than exit scams.
5164  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-07-12] Major Australian Supermarket Chain Now Accepts Bitcoin on: July 14, 2019, 11:16:53 AM
Nobody's going to use it. Why would they spend their potentially appreciating asset on substances that'll pour out of their arse a few hours later? You spend your depreciating money on consumables.

There's never been one single case of merchant adoption leading anywhere. Something like this would be great for me but I'm not an average person when it comes to crypto.

Maybe that's why they are accepting crypto.Hoping for some naive buyers to spend some bitcoin or ethereum and after a week or two BTC and ETH prices double, which means more profit for the merchant. Grin
Anyway, people aren't that stupid.I consider this to be more of a marketing move.It might attract some crypto fans, but they will buy with fiat money.
5165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin Conspiracy theory on: July 14, 2019, 11:12:45 AM
Great drawing skills, however I can't agree with your theory, that crypto whales and bitcoin creators are just one big organization. This is just too much oversimplifying everything in the crypto world. If many people are involved, the secrets of the organization are almost impossible to remain hidden, yet nobody knows who is the real Satoshi Nakamoto.
5166  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calm down. on: July 14, 2019, 05:46:59 AM
The experienced crypto traders are very calm. The newbies are the ones that panic and get excited really fast.Their excitement/panic is manipulated by lots of clickbait articles coming from the crypto news platforms. As we know, those websites are full of exaggerations, propaganda and clickbait shit, like "bitcoin is going to 100K next week". Grin
I like your explanation of those historical price movements.
5167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse racing books on: July 14, 2019, 05:41:59 AM
Herein my country have that kind of gambling, gamblers can bet via online choosing horses who's gonna potentially can get win in the race. But I have nothing idea how to make bet via online  because I didn't want to bet it(horse)I gamble but personally using animals in gambling isn't good ideas for me.

What's wrong with using animals in gambling?I'm pretty sure that those horses aren't tortured. They are taken care off.Anyway,I can't seem to find horse racing gambling sites other than betonline and bovada, and those two have lots of limitations and requirements(like ID and utility bill verifications before withdrawal),that turn a lot of gamblers off.For some reason horse racing isn't popular at all in the crypto gambling world.
5168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you bought coins in the bear trend and what coins are that on: July 13, 2019, 05:05:28 PM
I have some GRAFT coins left from the GRAFT ICO that was back in January 2018.I also have bought a small amount of ETH.I'm hodling the GRAFT coins hoping for recovery of the price, but it looks to me that this altcoin is almost dead.I don't believe that ETH will recover to it's ATH,but I'm still holding it.  Grin
5169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crime Effect of Gambling - Your thoughts! on: July 13, 2019, 05:00:58 PM
I recently participated in a debate on debatepedia and this particular one brought about a huge argument and I was wondering how that argument will play out here and hoping to view your thoughts on this.

Actually, the bone of content here is that does gambling cause an increase in various kinds of related criminal activities? Few examples of the major points raised were;

Quote
Casinos are often associated with criminal activity. Drug dealers and prostitutes operate near casinos – they know that there are a large number of potential clients in the area. Casinos can therefore be devastating to neighborhoods.

Quote
The existence of criminals does not make nearby businesses (including casinos) immoral. It is perverse to punish people who just want to gamble (and not take drugs or use prostitutes) by taking away their chance to do so.

For me personally, I believe immoral activities are certainly based on each individual and it does not have anything to do with gambling. Nevertheless, from some of the further research that I made, I got to understand that, these things mentioned are very much applicable in most casinos; drug dealings, prostitution and even some casinos where the owners are into some shady stuffs. Well, just want to get to know what you guys think about this. Do you think Casino is like a hiding place for perpetrators of crime or casino on its own, ushers in a huge level of immoral activities by default?

Of course that gambling can increase the level of criminal activities, because some gambling addicts start stealing stuff and scamming other people,in order to get money for their gambling addiction. This debate is pointless. But that fact doesn't prove that all gambling should be banned.A mass gambling ban won't solve the problem. It will only make things even worse.
5170  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-07-12] Fed Chairman Powell: Bitcoin Is A Store of Value Like Gold on: July 13, 2019, 04:45:00 PM
Lawmakers also mentioned their uneasiness regarding bitcoin’s possible long-term challenge to replace the U.S. dollar as the world reserve currency.

https://bitcoinist.com/federal-reserve-chairman-jerome-powell-bitcoin-a-store-of-value-like-gold/

It's good news to hear such statement coming from a central banker. However, this guy doesn't admit that bitcoin is a currency,so this makes me think that the Federal Reserve System will never accept bitcoin as a currency. The rumors that FED might bitcoin as a reserve currency or store of value is complete nonsense.
5171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you like to see Bitcoin prize stable between 10K-20K? on: July 13, 2019, 12:19:08 PM
Do you like to see Bitcoin prize stable between 10K-20K? or keep this pattern and behave like in past? 20K - 3K. I personally like to see bitcoin stable between 10K-20K. So everyone will happy for the situation.Open for discussion.

If the price keeps fluctuating between 10K and 20K USD then I wouldn't call it stable. Grin
A stable bitcoin price means a price that moves between 10K and 12K or 10-11K.I don't mind seeing a really stable bitcoin price.Everything different than a price crash is great for me. Smiley
5172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING! this is very misleading on: July 13, 2019, 12:15:21 PM
This is not just misleading. That's pure cheating.Fake bars and fake info about amount of money raised has been in the arsenal of shady ICOs since the very beginning of the ICO era.Anyway, who is still buying ICO tokens?Even if some ICO has fake info about raising millions of dollars, investors have to do their due diligence and check the info using different methods.
5173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 5 Bitcoin Dice Strategy Guide: How to Win at Crypto Dice on: July 13, 2019, 12:10:02 PM
Those strategies don't mean shit if you have any luck.

If you want to beat the game of dice, don't study strategies. Find a way to get lucky.

I would rather have horse shoes, charm bracelets, rabbit's foot, four-leaf clovers around me instead of reading useless strategies.

Yeah, most dice game players tend to think that using a so called "betting strategy" like one of the mentioned above will increase their luck(somehow) and provide consistent profits from playing a game that is 100% based on luck.So far,I've never seen anyone, who wins thousands of coins using the Martingale,D'Alembert or Paroli methods.
5174  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-07-12] Japanese Exchange Hacked for $32 Million in Cryptocurrency on: July 13, 2019, 11:44:42 AM
News about cryptocurrency exchange platforms being hacked aren't sensational anymore. Undecided
This happens really often and the smaller exchange platforms don't have the money(or simply don't want to invest)to upgrade their security. It's weird that most of the hacked exchanges are from Japan and South Korea, two of the most technologically advanced countries in the world.
5175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm interested in trading but don't know where to start. Any tips? on: July 13, 2019, 05:59:28 AM
I am newbie in trading. can you guys please help me ? How much money do I need to get started?

You start by searching in Google for some articles on that topic.Learn the basic terms, like what is margin trading, trading signals, candlestick charts,stop-loss orders ,take profit orders, etc.Learn how to read the charts and learn more about technical and fundamental analysis.Try to practice some demo trading before depositing any coins into a crypto exchange platform.
5176  Economy / Economics / Re: buying bitcoin is like immigrating to a new country on: July 13, 2019, 05:41:43 AM
It seems nobody knows how many whales are out there, these whales maybe extremely selfish. Therefore, it is like a country with UNKNOWN Gini coefficient and UNKNOWN leaders, therefore very UNCLEAR economic future. In other words, it is very difficult to predict its future.

From what I understand, if we consider in the near future, even if the scaling problem are completely solved, bitcoin may still fail because reasons list above in terms of wealth distribution. If you buy bitcoin now, it is like immigrating to a new country. Never underestimate the possibility that bitcoin may go to zero. Do NOT be too confident with bitcoin and put all your money in it.

So to summarize your theory, bitcoin is like another country just because rich crypto whales are using it and there's inequality.Sounds stupid to me. Sad
If there leaders were KNOWN,would this fact make the economic future CLEAR?
I know that bitcoin price might go to zero and i'm not over-confident about the future of bitcoin, but all your statements are plain stupid.
5177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't know Bitcoin is, I just know It is taking away the lives of family on: July 13, 2019, 05:37:27 AM
as long as you can not even figure out the root of the problem, you will not be able to solve your problem and move on with your life and have better days. you are in a way trying to find someone or something to blame instead of looking where the problem was.
all your issues stem from gambling addiction of your brother and as long as you are not admitting it, you will have problems. you have to accept it and seek professional help. it is not the end of the world!

the root problem is not only his problem the ROOT PROBLEM is that the web is domainted by scams/crap shit = google

I can't agree that the web is DOMINATED by scams.Yeah, there are a lot of scams and there always will be,but there are lots of ethical online businesses, who truly care about their customers.
OP's brother is a gambling addict and it's not bitcoin's fault or some online crypto dice game or casino's fault that he is a gambling addict. It's all about self-control and self-awareness.

5179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understanding The Planetofbets Cash Back Bonus Offer on: July 10, 2019, 05:17:21 PM
Quote
This isn't a terribly attractive offer, to be honest. You are not creating an incentive for the user to stay and use your website in a way that is beneficial to the user. But just extending the engagement time per user by a fraction and calling it a 'Bonus offer'.

It's better for a sports betting website to have a not so "terribly attractive" bonus offer that is actually working, rather than a "terribly attractive" bonus offer that is really misleading and really hard to be accomplished, due to the vague and weird bonus offer rules.
I remember a bunch of websites offering insane NO DEPOSIT BONUS offers, that were really misleading.
5180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Fight between Litecoin and bitcoincash on: July 10, 2019, 11:42:20 AM
Since yesterday, litecoin and bitcoin cash has been battering for the fourth place in the coinmarketcap. both have been replacing each other at certain interval. whom do you think will maintain the fourth place.
i preferred Litecoin because it is getting more adopted than bitcoin cash.

Litecoin was an early bitcoin clone and bitcoin cash is Bitcoin's most furious rival/imposter,due to all the misleading bullshit propaganda saying that BCH is the "real bitcoin" or that BCH is the "real vision of Satoshi".
I say f**k BCH and long live Litecoin, even though I'm not that much into altcoins. Grin
