5161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can i start a btc dice site with 30btc? i have 15btc left now on: October 29, 2020, 12:41:25 AM
Basing only with marketing then this is already a big expense to talk on plus on the maintenance as you said plus other factors in considerations then that amount wont be enough.

You can build but expect that it wont really be that appealing or something that can level up on todays dice sites. We cant deny that the current competition on dice industry
is pretty fierce and you cant be sure that you would really have some shot on getting along with them.

Marketing plays a big part in these gambling websites. Without these the business won't last long. It is really possible to make a dice site with only 30 or even 15 btc but the question is can it attract users on your platform. Is it enough to compete on the popular websites these days.
5162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashless gaming now available in land-based casino in USA on: October 29, 2020, 12:00:45 AM
With the cashless wagering digital wallet now in place, will you be interested to go to Blue Chip Casino to experience its innovative digital payment system? Also, do you look forward to having more land-based casinos accept Bitcoin, and if they do, will you be inclined to go to these Bitcoin-accepting land-based casinos?

Yes I look forward for more of those land-based casinos that accepts bitcoin. I'll definitely go to one of those to help their business and to promote bitcoin as well. If these businesses go well, many more businesses will start to adopt bitcoin. The stigma of bitcoin is only used for illegal things will decrease because of this.
5163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more important bitcoin or fiat? on: October 28, 2020, 02:44:58 PM
How can bitcoin have it's value without fiat. How can we know that each bitcoin cost a lot if fiat doesn't exist. If bitcoin will be the only form of curremcy or let's say crytocurrencies, how can we define each items or things their price or value.
5164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking Bitcoin is Scam on: October 28, 2020, 01:53:29 PM
So It is a great slap to the mostly people who think Crypto is illegal. Now they understand the power of crpyto in upcoming less than 2 years and it will change whole market , the early adopters will take great benefit.

There are reasons why some people think bitcoin is illegal. Like my parents who are born before the internet, they think it's a scam because it's not tangible and can't be used somewhere. I can't blame them because even if you explain it to them, they will find it difficult to understand. There are others too who become a victim of a scam so they only think of bitcoin as a scam. We should not be gatekeeping or belittle those who hate bitcoin instead we should enlighten them that it is not and it has a lot of benefits in the future.

5166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Altcoin on: October 28, 2020, 04:32:14 AM
Bitcoin pumped the there is massive dump shown in the Altcoins. whether the Bitcoin is now stable and mostly Altcoin are recovering with slow rate but atleast they recover. I think the mostly an altcoins are recovered on their previous rate in 1-4 days or maybe big pump also. I want to know your thoughts about this Bitcoin versus and altcoin. I know that Bitcoin shows the massive pump and dump at the same time but are looking altcoin give higher profit because they are less risk. What's your thought about this?

If you're looking at the fiat value then bitcoin is a better choice. But if you want to earn more btc, then I prefer altcoin. I remember when eth was almost at 0.1btc each and just last year ltc reached 0.014 each (correct me if i'm mistaken), just imagine if you bought 10 pcs of that at a lower price per bitcoin then sold it at that price. How much btc can you earn.
5167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your fears in new cryptocurrency? on: October 28, 2020, 02:47:15 AM
My biggest fear is for newbies to be hyped on those projects without doing any research first. They bought because someone said to them it's good but at the time when they buy it's on a high price. If they're lucky that the coin will pump more then I hope they take profit quickly. But what if the opposite happens, they bought late then hodl it for a long time hoping for that coin to rise again.
5168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery is a poor man's tax on: October 28, 2020, 01:48:04 AM
Do you think that the pros of playing lottery outweigh the cons or vice versa?

It depends on someone how often he bets on a lottery. Some spend almost half of their daily earnings which is not good, and some who bets once a day hoping it would change their life.

Is government owned lottery a scummy way to tax the poor people?

No, I don't think so. Like here in our country the government owned lottery helps the unfortunate people to have some discount on their hospital bills.

How far are you willing to gamble to win the coveted jackpot (If you are playing lottery)?

Only once a day, that's all I'm willing to bet. As you've said there are millions of combination to win in a lottery game so if you are given a chance to win there I'd consider it as a blessing from above.
5169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why hesitate ???? on: October 27, 2020, 09:46:09 AM
Never ever hesitate to take profits, even if the project is the best ever, take profits, invest again when price is down because believe me, the price will surely go down

It is because of greed why most of us forget to take profits. And I think every newbie experience that and it taught them a lesson during those times.
Every investor should set their achievable profit. I think this is the mistake because we often set our expectations so high that it is impossible to happen.
5170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you really need in your trading? on: October 27, 2020, 08:03:34 AM
Some said copy trading and bot trading is somehow effecient in acquiring profits. But I still prefer self trading. Yeah, there's agreat emotional influence but it is all the matter of "emotional control and management".  And about that signal group you have mentioned, I've tried joining paid signal service and was just disappointed. If you are able to read technical/fundamental analysis by yourself, joining from those signal groups is not really necessarily.

I've been wanting to try that copy trading. But still have some questions about it. How much is the probability of it to lose. Let's say in 10 trades how many on that will lose.
I'm also looking for suggestion on what's the best platform for that and is there a minimum amount of investment.
5171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The number of Bitcoin whales hit an all-time high during the latest bull run on: October 27, 2020, 06:32:16 AM
The real question is,will this concentration of money, resources and power ruin the Bitcoin blockchain?
If Bitcoin becomes a "currency of the rich and privileged",the middle class and the working class people might lose trust in the future of BTC.Nobody knows what will happen...

It's also an opportunity for the middle class and below that to earn during bull run. Only people that will be caught in the hype or buy in FOMO stage will lose.
I only have few amounts of bitcoin and I've already experienced being hyped but I didn't lose trust on bitcoin. It's my fault in the first place why it happened and it served a big lesson to me.
Now I know what to do and I'm just waiting for next bull run to earn some good amount of money that will open me some opportunity to explore new things I want to explore before like opening my own business.
5172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could destroy economy on: October 27, 2020, 05:48:32 AM
Why is Bitcoin associated with crime while Bitcoin only appeared in this century 2009, with identities detected in all local and international banks, inappropriate and unreasonable to me Bitcoin is declared to support evil, that's ridiculous propaganda.

Maybe it is because how many illegal things its possible to do using bitcoin. Over the years, criminals are also evolving on how they use bitcoin. Here in our country, it is often used by illegal companies who offers a huge return of money when you invest to them. After a month, they disappear without a trace leaving people with a bad impression about bitcoin.
5173  Economy / Economics / Re: Government slowly open the economy, will it make the pandemic worst? on: October 27, 2020, 04:24:20 AM
This depends on how people will protect themselves during this pandemic. If they think they can just go back to what they've been used to before all of this happened. It will surely get worst if people won't adjust to the new normal. I'm sure they know how much expensive it is to be hospitalized.
5174  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: October 27, 2020, 03:44:34 AM
I can't say it's good or bad for bitcoin market. I don't see any big movements yet compared to past years. And the adoption from the previous days like PayPal is not even related to this pandemic.
IMO it doesn't really affect the bitcoin market, the whales and the hype is always the factor how it will move.
5175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: October 27, 2020, 01:12:26 AM
Are these bets as safe as they seem? Would you go for this strategy or not? Why?

I've already tried this when I was gambling but still didn't work. Always know that gambling is all about luck, even if you play safe there's still a chance you will lose.
Think of this, in video games there is something called rng or random number generator where it is an algorithm that produces random numbers.
Let's compare it on your sports betting, what if you have 0.5% of chance to lose occurred on those games.
Even if you try to recover it on many games, how many bets do you think will it take with that strategy?
5176  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: October 26, 2020, 03:54:02 PM
This is what i do have in mind where converting your cash to crypto will really be having that kind of problem on someone who do tend to make out conversions throughout to exchangers
which basically means that you would need up to pass some KYC before you would able to do so which criminals doesnt really like this kind of thing of course.Unless
if there would be some p2p purchases then they might able to get some bitcoin but in most cases this would really be on exchange platforms.
Why would they dive into things that will put up some headache if they can just simply make use of fiat directly just like the good old ways.?

But there are mixers nowadays. You put your stolen crypto there and you get it back clean without traces.
In terms of kyc, it is also not difficult to create a fake info today. You edit a document with your image and personal info of a different person then use it to complete kyc.
Wise criminals will always choose cryto over fiat, it's just that most people are still not yet completely aware of how these crypto works so most of them still prefers fiat.

5178  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: pano kung ang pilipinas ay magka crypto but it has same value sa btc on: October 23, 2020, 02:20:15 AM

5179  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is KYC for crypto exchanges? on: October 22, 2020, 03:25:19 AM
Crypto exchanges implement KYC to make sure their users are not doing illegal things. You need to submit some personal info to them to make sure you are clean.
This may be risky so it's better to do it on reputated exchanges. We know that it's easy to launder money via cryptocurrencies so if we have nothing to hide then we should comply on that policy to make our future transactions smooth.
