5161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the FUD starting to wear off? on: June 03, 2021, 06:57:39 AM
I was not referring to the current sideways trading but to the FUD cycle, as is the topic of this thread:)

I find it super boring because it's not even creative anymore, it's just the same old recycled crap on the same old unupdated and unresearched elements of the FUD.
You know FUD is like a book, it always have a revised edition, it has no end. It is just depends on a person if after he/she read the revised edition, then still believe it. Usually, newbies and weak hands are always the victim of FUD. However, it also has a positive impact on other investors because fud can make a dump of the market, a good time to buy and it is an opportunity that traders and investors have been waiting for.

I actually really hate revised editions of books. It's almost like a sign that they are worthless books. Dictionaries update, textbooks revise, but the content is more or less the same, although you tend to see big updates remove stuff or enter new stuff.

FUD is different. It's like there is a textbook and some people only found them later on and say wow I never knew this existed.

Like Elon and Bitcoin mining consumption. That was so funny to see.
5162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $65,000 the peak of this bull market? on: June 03, 2021, 06:26:49 AM
It's still too "expensive" for now and a lot of problems in India and China (that's a third of the world population) for it to be worth that much.
Lets forget about the problem in China since they actually if majority of people will just stake with bitcoins and doesn't care about their issues well provably we can see bitcoin climb up again but since the market is struggling and the movement seems unsure maybe we cannot see the price reach unto the ATH price again but I hope I'm wrong since I'm still hoping to see the price reached at 6 digits in figures.

That's easier said than done though. I know Bitcoin itself is resistant to censorship and no government can block it, but if you are an evil government, you could still perhaps monitor your citizens and see which of them connects to known Bitcoin servers, and if you want to sell it, you can't do it easily or safely (for most people who don't know how to use p2p).

So for all that trouble, it will affect demand.
5163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many got REKT :( on: June 03, 2021, 06:16:29 AM
I never understand people who trade and don't use stop losses or take profit.
If they don't use "stop loses", it is still understandable. But if they never take profits, it is something strange. Do they really exist?  Cheesy
As far as I know, people trader for profits. This means they should take profits once the target is achieved. Traders must set their targets to sell at certain rates after they bought some coins. They won't keep the coins for a long time, they aren't investors. If you are trading, you probably trade your coins daily, or weekly, or monthly. I never heard of a yearly trader.  Cheesy

CMIIW

I still don't get it. Limit Orders are there as a tool to use, and every good trader knows 2 things. The price he wants to get in and the price he wants to get out.

And on the second item, this means both ways: the profit he would like to take, and the maximum loss he would like to bear.

You are just asking to get rekt without stop loss.

Oh but I've heard of yearly trader. Those guys are called options traders and they choose 1 year contracts:)

Another friendly is the feature for today's Soccer Blackjack! I tried to wait but I saw it too late to be the first to post;)

We saw already Poland and Russia not wanting to do too much, after all it's a friendly, but on the other hand we should see many many corners if they want to practice set pieces? Who knows:)
5166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to earn some profit trading BTC on: June 02, 2021, 03:34:18 PM
There are different ways to earn in cryptocurrency or the Bitcoin itself but there's no accurate 100 percent you can earn. Trading bitcoin just a two factor for me one is to make short trading join the ride of the market volatility of having a long or short position the other one is the long term trading requires holding up your coin until you satisfied with your profit

Dude it doesn't have to be Bitcoin. You have the same non guarantees in any industry. Trading, like gambling, is only profitable if you are the house (or you are the broker charging management fees to your clients whose assets you are managing).

Trust me, there are many traders showing off now but this is the BULL market. Any fool can make money.
5167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla Competitor to Launch First Electric Car That Mines Bitcoin and Dogecoin on: June 02, 2021, 03:00:49 PM
Interesting. But is he stupid or what? Does he even know how much power it takes yet to mine crypto? Why put that processing power into a car? Samsung or LG did it with appliances a long time ago and it didn't work. Maybe with monero or something else, staking for sure, but why Bitcoin which needs very costly POW hardware?
5168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge is to hold should not be trading on: June 02, 2021, 01:49:06 PM
Runs out of use? He never even found a use for it, other than to flip it at 1000 satoshi for Bitcoin. Trust me, he never saw a use in it other than to make money, just like any other crypto chad. And he doesn't mind admitting it, which is what every speculator needs to do! Own the shill and own the speculating behavior;)
Most probably, he just shill on it to make more money. for those who belive that Musk will make something until now there's no
actions that being tak aside from tweeting and letting his followers to speculate.

It's traders and investors decision whether they'll be going to but this coin or they'll leave it at the hands of Musk,

Your research and your own assessment will help you best to trust it.

It's a perfect strategy for influencers with loads of sheep willing to do whatever they were told. We had John McAfee do it. We even had Jamie Dimon do it, both are guys from both sides of the crypto/noncrypto world.

Not we have a tech entreprenuer doing it.

I would do the same if I could. Fomo when I want to sell. FUD when I wan to buy.
5169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 02, 2021, 01:04:20 PM
Wow what big news that caught me out even. I know he was a big favorite at Real, and he won them their first champions league in 10 years at the time, but seriously, after failing to get Everton to beyond 10th place in the last few games, shouldn't they be worried he doesn't have what it takes anymore? All respect for him but I don't think this is the same guy from 15 years ago. Anyway, no worries, I should be happy as Barca.
5170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone is fearfull. Someone said this is time to be greedy on: June 02, 2021, 11:38:49 AM
Faced with a lot of panic scenario, a greedy person should always come out looking for the smallest opportunity to win, this is normal in the market, now BTC has great uncertainty, and it has a great probability that the price will fall a little, in fact many are betting on the BTC drop and go short, but I don't think so, I think this is a trap that whales put to remove the btc from weak hands:

The greedy person looks for every opportunity, big or small, I totally agree. But also, the experenced greedy ones lock in profits as soon as they can, and then open up the next opportunity.

Without experience, the greed tells them to go for more, but they forget always to close the existing opportunities. Remmeber. Profits are never realized until you actually close your positions.

This trap is going to eat a lot of greedy inexperienced holders;)
5171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discuss] Top Sport Betting Site with Crypto ( no KYC, withdraw fast) ? on: June 02, 2021, 11:01:52 AM
There's a lot of crypto sportsbooks that accepts USDT but unfortunately all of them are under the ERC network afaik.

If the network criteria is removed from your list then you'd have a lot of options to choose from like sportsbet, cloudbet, betcoin, betnomi, bitsler.
Really? I didn't know there were so many sportsbooks offering bets in USDT, it's interesting because they can be used as an advantageous alternative to fiat bookies by people who don't like to gamble with cryptos or being exposed to their volatility.
The thread of Vennali should be updated with this information IMO
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5319144

Hmm yeah, I wasn't aware of that many accepting usdt. Most casinos just use their USD internal balance, not USDT. I mean, with the fees on Ethereum so high especially, it doesn't make sense until 2.0 is out to allow usdt deposits/wds.

Plus, doesn't Tether have to be regulated now, making it harder for them to use? Easier to exchange crypto to fiat in house in casinos right?
5172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the FUD starting to wear off? on: June 02, 2021, 09:39:23 AM
It's definitely super boring but by now time to accept this boring cycle is going to resume again at some point.
It is boring because we are not used to it. A 3% rise in a blue chip in one day is a very good session while in Bitcoin it's boring. We are coming off a season of beating ath after ath, which is exciting but very rarely seen in the investment world. If you find this time in Bitcoin boring you will find almost anything investing boring.

Regarding what the OP raises, yes I think you have stated to wear off, but at the slightest it will reappear.

I was not referring to the current sideways trading but to the FUD cycle, as is the topic of this thread:)

I find it super boring because it's not even creative anymore, it's just the same old recycled crap on the same old unupdated and unresearched elements of the FUD.

Dirty Energy and wastage for example? Booooring.
5173  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $65,000 the peak of this bull market? on: June 02, 2021, 09:08:35 AM
I do think so. There are people who seem to think that 6 digits is still possible in this current bull run, but I personally think that is unlikely to happen.

6 digits is almost guaranteed in the long run, especially after the next halving. I think that the long term fundamentals have not changed, if  not improved.

However, this current bull market has clearly ran out of steam and the weak hands need to be flushed out before further gains can be made. The rate of growth of the crypto market was simply unsustainable. Musk's voice has also died down quite a bit.

Me neither. And I'm not just saying this out of deflated opinion, I didn't see it at all even during the big rally over 20k. In the long run for sure, but that's next halving maybe so many more years from now. It's still too "expensive" for now and a lot of problems in India and China (that's a third of the world population) for it to be worth that much.
5174  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many got REKT :( on: June 02, 2021, 07:26:14 AM
And most importantly, don't be greedy. when the market goes up, sometimes we feel very confident that the rally will always continue, so we are complacent to take profits and finally the market goes down, then we regret it, especially if we buy when the price is at its peak, then we hold on to it and result in waiting for a few more years

I never understand people who trade and don't use stop losses or take profit. It's so easy to do and should form a basic foundation of any trading activity, yet people keep saying they get rekt. Isn't it like Lesson 1 in the traders handbook or something? I mean, what's the point of not setting your exit if you want to make trading your living?
5175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IT’S ALT SZN!!! Shill Me Your Bags!! on: June 01, 2021, 02:03:22 PM
tokeweed I keep forgetting you are one of those altcoin people (don't worry I was too at a point).

Question for you, have you done any of the defi things yet? Keep seeing people staking and yield farming and they're saying even with the 50% crash they're still in profit. But my thoughts is they're doing all that which is exactly what causes value to crash:)
5176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge is to hold should not be trading on: June 01, 2021, 12:54:16 PM
Guy, you can do what you want, but i dont think this is a good choose, even Dogecoin pump one thousand times in this bullish season. Anyway, i am not afraid to tell you i guess Dogecoin would down one thousand times in this coming bearish season, wish me i am wrong.
Elon Musk, i consider he just take advantage of Dogecoin, no other reason. One day when he runs out of use Doge, he will be abandoned.

5177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 01, 2021, 12:08:48 PM
Since we are already talking about Real Madrid, then I noticed another oddity ... Spain's current squad has no Real players, what the fuck? I don't quite understand what Luis Enrique was guided by when choosing players, but he didn't even take Sergio Ramos ... I have not found information on the composition of the Spanish national team in the past years, but apparently such discrimination of one of the strongest clubs for the first time, (Barcelona fans are ecstatic).

HAha yeah old news. But even Ramos himself said he understood the decision and over the Spanish league they all know the current squad is old and weak, and there is desperate need to make fresh blood. Not to win this EURO but to prepare for the next world cup.

Ramos and his gang understood it and I think no one is outraged. It's not discrimination it's purely a judgement of talent and injury.
5178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why is the process of listing Cryptocurrencies simple? on: June 01, 2021, 10:48:12 AM
Pros and cons, everyone. And we're free to choose, so I don't see why there shouldn't be both options.

If you want to feel safer (note feel, not actually are;)) then go for listed coins at regulated exchanges. Mind you many exchanges don't really do due diligence, it's so basic most of our DYOR would be 10 x better.

If you want complete freedom go open liquidity pools on Uniswap.
5179  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone is fearfull. Someone said this is time to be greedy on: June 01, 2021, 10:08:49 AM
I think anyone who is scared right now is acting a bit irrationally. The price is over $30,000. This is something most people thought would have been impossible not very long ago. I think people need to take a longer view of things and stop concerning themselves with day-to-day movements otherwise there is no possible scenario that you will actually hold your coins long enough to make a life changing profit.

Agree. I admit I do irrational things even though over long term I have a high discipline. I hodl as much as possible but now I'm not scared yet. I can't predict how I'll think or act if Bitcoin goes to below 20k. I might sell a bit "just in case" or I might not. Can't really say because fear is very powerful when it comes to money:)
5180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi hacks [history] on: June 01, 2021, 08:54:24 AM
@slaman29. All 8 flashloan attacks? I disagree. These are not rugpulls. It appears to be a well organized group exploiting weaknesses in copy/paste projects deployed in Binance smartchain.

Also, I was wrong in my assumption that Binance smartchain would be the Ethereum killer hehe. However, Solana might be the Binance smartchain killer hehehehe.

Ah sorry, I always assumed all kinds of attacks are called rug pulls in Defi. Just read it up now and rugpulls are when the project owners take out all the liquidty from the pool so yes, different mode of attack but in my book, still the same scummy people and like you said, probably all the same groups of people in the end.

Solana BSC killer? SOL starter looks almost sold out:)
