Well, I would also like to Donate to make this competition more exciting, will only give BTC0.001 if that's okay also.
Thank you so much I already PMed you, highly appreciated on your support mate. Wink

JUICED THE PRICE UP AS WELL A BIT
OP just need to read my PM ....
Welcome on board mate, you're welcome here.

I already replied mate, thank you so much for your kind support on us. I am glad to know that you are here on our local board helping us.

I saw your thread and I admire on it that's why I bring the presence of your event here. Thank you so much. Wink

Waiting for your response regarding my replied PM.

Are non-Filipinos allowed to play ?
If not, it's ok, I'll just give my prediction for fun.
Thank you so much, anyone is allowed here. Have fun. Cheesy
5182  Local / Pilipinas / Re: PREDICTION PRICE OF BTC in Q2-[GAME PRIZE] on: March 22, 2019, 02:26:09 AM
If allow, can I add BTC0.003 sa prize to make BTC0.01? If not then ok lang.
That is allowed mate thank you for supporting this game, we are now 0.01BTC for the prize pool.

Will also give some merit too if may sense ang technical analysis and not just a pure "I THINK ganito kasi ganito...".
Good idea tho but I can't promise with that because as of now I'm out of smerit to share, maybe I will choose randomly those giving with sense TA. Or we call crwth here as a merit source. Grin

Medyo matagal pa yung prediction kaya tingnan muna natin from April siguro then we could start? Ganun ba yun? @sheenshane
It's up to you if when you feel to predict the market price for July 1 mate as long as the deadline of submission is on April 30, beyond than that will not be accepted.

Good luck sa inyo Kabayan, malaki na prize nito kasi nag add si harizen para sa prize. Pwedi naman kayo maghula habang maaga pa.

5183  Economy / Reputation / Re: Requesting "The Pharmacist" to have look here on: March 21, 2019, 04:01:24 PM
You have been already answered here,
Both sender seems tagged already for other reasons and receiver shouldn't get tag for this case...

Find another solid proof against them, then, the receiver perhaps will receive neg tag too.
5184  Local / Pilipinas / Re: PREDICTION PRICE OF BTC in Q2-[GAME PRIZE] on: March 21, 2019, 03:43:58 PM
Ayos to kabayan ah, tanong ko lang pano kung may mga kababayan natin na magpepredict lang without TA na isa sa requirements ng palaro mo then after ng june tumama yung prediction nya? Valid ba kung sakali yung prediction nya at maari nyang makuha yung prize?
It should have a TA or your own conclusion kung bakit yan ang napili mong price predicting, it looks like spammy kasi kapag only digit numbers lang naka lagay diba? Explain ka lang kunti kung bakit yan napili mo, after that you have an entry on this game.

There should be a lucky winner at the end of this game, kung sino yung pinakamalapit na sagot sa price range, automatic sya na yung panalo. It's a very easy game I don't know why people here didn't show interest. Ayaw siguro ng free. Wink

Edit ko na nga yung merit requirements from 15 to 5 para mas marami mas masaya. Smiley

This may help to give some additional context to the merits being awarded on the Philippine local board:

C-    Top Receivers
Ohh come on, I smell something fishy here. Why @theyoung is only second as a receiver in our local board? young done many great post/helpful post in our local post and active giving to rightful merited post. That is not fair I will dump more merits to him there.

crwth is now a change member of the community and he is willing to help.

Thank you @DdmrDdmr for your local merit stats. Wink

Upon doing research I found that this JaoBadjap is probably merit trader:
Only Legend knows. Cheesy

source: https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=JaoBadjap

You guys decide which post must be deserved to get +50 merit.

Curious this,
Is this worth to have +50 merit?: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1358010.msg25918933#msg25918933
https://archive.fo/OC0g3

Or compare this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4544266.msg40904432#msg40904432 .
Who happened not getting +50 for the effort STarter made to do?

Online Shopping:
http://pizzaforcoins.com/ - famous pizza for btc
I actually tried to click the Bitcoin for Pizza site but I became dramatic because of the interface. Stated there was "Thanks for the Fun Ride!" technically, they stopped operating their project and we all know what is the possible reason why. It breaks my heart seeing these kinds of statements because I know that their enthusiasm and passion is being killed but they still keep on believing in it.

In our country(Philippines) there's still an active third-party the online payment platform company who allow consumers to have a payment online shop and accept Bitcoin as payment.

Thank you, Insanerman. As of the moment, I do not see myself as one of the merit source. I am just happy working backstage helping people here.
You Ain't fit for merit source. You are eligible IMO on staff or Global Mod on the coming future, you have the quality and a mind of staff. Wink

snip-
For the suggestions, I would do my best to be active more on the boards and supporting our fellow men who deserve it. Let's do our best to be better!
I fully support mate as our merit source. You have been helpful and active on our local board and our source ain't doing anything at all just meriting here on meta, not like on other local board that their merit sources are active in their locality.

Gave this man a sauce already.

Thanks to @DdmrDdmr for his Analysis – Merit per post per Section/Subsection. I saw lacking merit to our local board and we need you cwrth as a merit source.
5190  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sweden on track to stop using cash by 2023 on: March 20, 2019, 06:06:32 PM
I do understand that altcoins are very much appreciated and accepted globally slowly. But the thing you point out that society is moving closer each day to becoming a globally cashless society is super doubtful. Before seeing fiat as the bitcoin's competition, you have to keep in mind the previous currencies. Golds, silvers, bronze, salt, spices? Those are the trading goods before and the fiat was successfully replaced them.
5191  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Explaining the Wage Gap Myth on: March 20, 2019, 05:08:33 PM

1. Women won't typically negotiate their salaries, and that's a fact based on studies. (SOURCE)
2. Women (in a traditional household) typically take time off when they have kids, and they're unable to 'catch up' from the lost time, experience, income, etc to be able to compare fairly to men. (SOURCE
Generally, men are braver when it comes to negotiating wages. Most of the women are doesn't complain about their salaries because they wanted to be the person who is deserving to be compensated with the specific amount instead of negotiating about it.

Though some women know how to stand up, most of the ladies are scared and taken advantage because of their gender.

On behalf of strong and new era women, I will stand up and say that the new era women are much stronger, braver and smarter and we won't tolerate any kinds of grants and unfair wages!

5193  Other / Off-topic / Re: Palladium edges to new record as Russia adds to supply squeeze on: March 20, 2019, 04:14:40 PM
Interesting topic tho.
Palladium is a chemical element and was discovered in 1803 by William Hyde Wollaston. The reason why Russia will ban the exporting of Palladium just because they wanted to keep it and use it personally. What I mean is, I think Russia is not that satisfied with the value the global trades are offering to their precious metal and the only thing that will make them continue exporting it is when they will get their desired value of it.

Maybe the Russian Ministry of Trade and Industry noticed that the Palladium would worth more than what it values today and trying to rise it up by banning it because of its demand.
5194  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US dollar backed by oil? What do you think? on: March 20, 2019, 03:48:52 PM
Until 1973 the US dollar  was on a gold standard, but Richard Nixon took the US off the standard in 1973. Actually abandoned the system in order to print inflated currency called “Greenbacks” without any commodity backing.
Agreed, USD is backed by gold. Even with the oil backed countries the currency validation is done through the value of gold. Even now I'm not sure, but gold seems to be the backing commodity for USD along with its internal revenue.
Well mate in my own, 90% of what we use every day is produced by oil as the main source of power. If you are a country with oil, it means that you have sources, powers, and money to generate and keep it producing sources, income, and revenues.

I liked what he told about the dollar, gold, and bitcoin and it is very relevant. The reason why the US dollar has a nice value globally it is because the people who invented and support it are great salesmen, end of story.
5195  Economy / Speculation / Re: This has happened in the past! on: March 20, 2019, 03:21:10 PM

I always keep the bitcoins safe and will not sell the bitcoin unless it reaches 10k USD at least. number of hodlers increased then we can find the more demand on bitcoins and price rise too.
Good decision and we are the same perspective view on holding Bitcoin, there will be a big chance that the bitcoin will rise again but I can't
tell it would skyrocket dramatically. 50,000 is too much but for me, the bitcoin will rise on its former high potential again like 20,000 USD.

I do understand the enthusiasm and you being optimistic but please lessen your expectation to make it a little realistic. We are all expecting for the bitcoin to rise and let's see if it will happen!
5196  Economy / Speculation / Re: *Q2-BTC-PRCE PREDICTION-GAME* Q2 LIST GAME on: March 20, 2019, 01:48:09 PM

5197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Too easy to manipulate? on: March 19, 2019, 05:37:48 PM
Well, well... so far on OP question no one knows the right answer. Probably not and probably yes.
For me, it is just because of being "hype", those articles/news are really creating a huge hype and have an effect on the market price or reversible situation. Price movement of cryptocurrency will go up higher if the demand increases the price was running high. There are different circumstances that we can say there's manipulating the market but the fact is the movement itself. Indeed, no one knows.
5198  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What are the best bitcoin wallets? on: March 19, 2019, 07:02:49 AM
Looking for a secure place to store my bitcoins. What do you recommend? I found a few here, but looking for more feedback

Thanks!

Hardware wallet is the most secure place to store bitcoin, such as Ledger Nano and Trezor. You can also use desktop wallet Exodus or web wallet Coinbase and Blockchain.info. These are a few best options.

These offline wallets are probably safe but there's a possibility that it might be hacked if we are too lazy not to keep our private key in the proper place. The most important is keeping the private key and seed of phrase to recover our wallet anytime.
I don't agree on the web wallet. Most of them have different issues.
That's right, we must keep the private key after making our bitcoin wallet to ensure that it will be secure from hacking incident.
Always bear this in your mind that if you're not holding private key/ seed phrase the bitcoin/altcoin you've stored is not belongs to you.

Use electrum wallet is the best option you install this on your clean laptop that not infected malware virus.

Donating a computer even an old one/used in a in a barrio along with solar panel set and prepaid internet I think is a good idea, it could help to spread the news about bitcoin and at the same time could keep them up to date...  students could have access to information that is not available on obsolete books, or the elderly who are not even aware of what's happening around the country who rely on news on radio and TV( which are sometimes one sided, incomplete ) or worst from hearsay...
Brilliant idea sir Mr. Big, I think that places are usually in provinces or rural area that those people can't access prepaid internet.

I remember that idea way back during my high school life here our province someone from foreign NGO's donating 15 sets units of computers that really help and make us computer literate.

I agree with that suggestion. Wink
