I don't think Noctua has a quiet 95mm fan. I've had great results with Noctua products in the past, but some of them are less silent than people think. For instance, their industrial fans have good static pressure and whatnot, but they're not nearly as quiet as the consumer stuff and actually pretty loud. Keep in mind the Apollo comes with a high-pressure fan that revs up to over 3,000 RPM.
I know that not all Noctua fans are that quiet like people think, but they are still representing synonym for quiet fans. I think they don't have 95mm fans, only 92mm and bigger 120mm fans, but I guess you could make custom mod that fits anything, and bigger fans are usually more quiet and they cool better. They have one industrial 92mm fan with 2500 RPM and two 1200mm fans with 300 RPM's, but I think there ae other manufacturers like Gelid and Zalman. I haven't done any research on the topic, but it sounds plausible. It has a pretty large (and pretty loud - when it's not overshadowed by the miner's fan) 40mm fan on a heatsink, whereas passive cooling cases exist for the Raspberry Pi 4. My biggest complaint is that there is little to no real online community around it and you just get Armbian as a precompiled OS; so very limited software support.
Best thing you can do to cool them down is to use something like Raspberry Pi 400 is doing with massive passive metallic heatsink cooler. It's totally silent and temperatures are reduced a lot, they are even better than regular Rpi with fan. If you don't mind the size and higher energy consumption, I'd probably recommend to spend those $100 on a used x86 machine of some kind (desktop or laptop), but if you insist on SBC, I prefer the Raspberry stuff. Yeah I know. I could buy very good used Thinkpad T series laptop for $50 to $100 and it would be much faster than Raspberry Pi or Orange Pi. Some of them can even run Coreboot open source firmware, instead of stock BIOS, and can be used to ran Mac OS in them. What I like about Rpi 400 is total silence element, and very low energy spending (only few wats). If, and that's a big if they can really get these stateside for $99
This looks interesting, and I didn't find it before when I looked for other Rpi alternatives. I still would never install wiNd0ws OS in device like this.

So with cases of wallets being hacked or stolen by cyber thieves and all that, can this RFID be used to help track them since BTC is a digital currency or is it's power limited?
You would need to have physical device with actual RFID chip inside, that is impossible for software wallets, and none of the hardware wallets I know have something like this installed in them. Other components and devices could potentially be used for tracking, like wireless, wi-fi, nfc, and most smartphones are already voluntary tracked all the time with google, IP location and cell tower from SIM cards. Having any wallet installed on smartphone probably means that your every step in tracked, and there is no need for some RFID chips at all, if you carry your phone with you. Good way to protect form this is by using faraday bags and cases for your devices.

Contabo's rates are hard to beat, better uptimes can get quite expensive. I'm on the lookout too, my (sponsored) AWS is running out soon.
You should check out and follow lowendbox.com website, they have some great hosting and VPS deals, among other things. I am not sure if they can beat Contabo but hetzner.com should be solid and reliable alternative. PS IT looks like forum is still facing some issues on my side. When I click on the Quote button to reply I am getting big green LOADING bar on the top, and nothing happens until I refresh page and do it again.

It was Cloudflare's botched routing again. It even took down the Bitcoin Wiki and my website.
Hip Hip Hurray! I think I missed all the fun again... maybe that was also causing some issues with images recently I don't know why I have a feeling we are going to see more of this issues in future, but I think forum should have some alternative option ready in case Cloudflare explodes again. If anyone knows good usable alternative for Cloudflare in 2022 please post it below.

I can't stand imgur. You can't upload photos without an account, and the adds are as obnoxious nails on a chalkboard. Most of the time when I post images here they're obviously related to bitcoin, and I don't need some third party image hosting company tracking my financial habits. I never used imgur with account for posting images and I have been using it for years without any issues. Few times it happened that imgur was not working I used imgbb or some other alternative servers for uploading images. You can even find some programs that can help you to upload images faster directly from your OS and choose any server you want. imgbb is a pretty decent image hosting site, and no need for KYC, lol. Maybe it is imgbb that's causing the issue. Right now I can see all my images that I've posted, but they've been problematic for at least two, maybe three weeks.
I saw recently that forum is showing image missing messages but I didn't check if the source server has issue or something else forum related, like image size. If you want to be sure your images will be available you can run your own server with self-hosted image hosting. ...
First time I saw your post all images loaded completely normal. Second time I opened the same page first ImgBB image didn't load, third time I refreshed the page it opened again but first image loaded much slower than others.

I preordered this Apollo BTC (batch 3) 'full unit' late summer 2021, paid it in full and received it pretty exactly 6 months later. One thing I don't like about preorders is possible long waiting time and uncertain delivery date, but I guess you used to it with Apollo and Passport hardware wallet It's not really quiet unless you clock it down
I think it can be done even without clocking it down. Maybe replacing fan with some Noctua quiet alternative (I think someone managed to do it with Apollo), and adding additional layer of isolation box would do wonders, for people who love DIY stuff. I am interested to know whats your opinion and experience with Orange Pi 4 compared to Raspbnerry Pi 4? I heard they are usually stronger and faster than Rpi's but they are also heating more. Good thing is that you can always use most components for some other projects, if one day you decide not to use it for Bitcoin full node anymore.

Just bought new device. Being plugged with original cable it hasn't shown any sign of life that disappointed me for a couple of minutes. Then I have tried the different cable from my mobile and, lo and behold, it came to life! I never saw any electronic device, not just hardware wallets, that have so many issues and problems like ledger devices. You would probably have more luck buying used stuff on internet and ebay, than ordering brand new ledger wallet. I can't believe they are now sending bad cables in their packages... ledger quality control = ZER0. Ledger Life has indicated that firmware of the device is outdated but it doesn't allow me to upgrade it. Why?
It's common thing for ledger to post many firmware updates, but you first need to update Ledger Live application before you can update firmware. Don't expect to have smooth ride with any of the ledger updates, I remember having many issues with my old model S each time I had to update firmware. So to summarize, first download and install Ledger Live app from official ledger website, install it and connect your ledger device and start Ledger Live, than update firmware. Instructions page is also available on Ledger website: https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4445777839901-Update-Ledger-Nano-S-Plus-firmware?docs=trueIf nothing else works, last step is to contact ledger support. PS I would suggest that you use Electrum wallet connected with your device instead of Ledger Live for managing Bitcoin. It's much better and you are not going to be tracked like with Ledger Live.

It seems Wasabi software doesn't prevent users from merging the outputs that came from the same CoinJoin round, which essentially destroys all privacy gained as a result of a complex transaction. There is also some issues currently with Tor that is under DDoS attack (I noticed slow loading times for my other wallets that use Tor) and this could also have negative effect on Wasabi 2.0 coinjoins. Tor is updated to 4.7.8 few days ago with major bugfixes: https://gitweb.torproject.org/tor.git/plain/ChangeLog?h=tor-0.4.7.8The output of this transaction (according to KYCP) belongs to OKEX exchange, which means that all these inputs were sent directly to someone's exchange account and, therefore, can be linked to a particular identity.
Not necessarily, because I believe that OKEX exchange has no-kyc tiers and that would not automatically connect those addresses with customer identity, unless OKEX stuff demands it from him.

The thing is that many NFC wallets are only basically and smartphone app and a card that has a writable NFC chip in it. So all the wallet management is done on the smartphone (creating the seed, signing transaction etc.): Basically the NFC chip is only a more fancy way to store a password. With coldcard this is different since all the wallet management is done offline and then sent via NFC to the smartphone.
None of other hardware wallets are online, so that is not really an argument if favor of Coldcard, and we still don't know how or if NFC even work in ColdCard. I can also just use some old junk smartphone with nfc, remove my sim card, disable or remove antenna and wi-fi and I am getting offline device that can be used for offline wallet management, and sent to my other smartphone. We all know that ALL previous Coldcard hardware wallets were hacked or exploited, so I see no reason why Mk4 should be any different, even if NKV said it's only exotic and rear exploits. NFC is just one more extra attack vector. Ledger was about to launch one but the cards weren't very useful as the chips require too much power for NFC.
Yes, they only need to add NFC chip, so they can officially receive reward for most circus-clown-like hardware wallit in the world

I would add yahoo.com unjustly neglected here, also the first result is a legit .com site. The next two are chipmixér.com and domain with .co extension. Both of them had a legit onion address at the bottom of the page, so it is difficult to determine whether these domains are really owned by the original Chipmixer.
Previous post is edited with this information, thank you for reminding me. I totally forgot about yahoo search dinosaur, maybe because I never use it, and you can't even search anything without agreeing to accept some of their tracking cookies. Note that Startpage simply returns Google results but without all the trackers and privacy invasion, so if Google's results are filled with scams, then so will Startpage's. SearX similarly pulls results from other search engines and strips all the tracking data. You can see which engines it uses by going to Preferences -> Engines. It defaults to Google, so the same will apply unless you manually choose different search engines to use.
Yeah, I know. For all search providers I used default options, that is something majority of people would do. There are few other search engines based on meta data that was not included, and one called Presearch that is showing xyz website in first place and real Chipmixer in third place.

Honestly, I didn't even Blockchair were running ads at all, let alone ads for scammers. I just stopped using them cause their new layout is so bad.
I never use Blochair website, or should I say almost never, because sometimes I click on link that someone sent me from blockchair. Much better and cleaner alternative in my opinion is mempool.space, and it's not supporting bunch of shitcoins like it's competition. One more good thing, mempool.space is fully open source, you can run it with your own node and you don't have to trust any third party. Are you guys not using uBlock Origin?
I am using uBlock Origin all the time (except in bitcointalk forum) and I can't even imagine browsing internet without it. Recently I had to install new operating system in one laptop and test how it works including internet browsing, it was painful experience to do it without ad blocker... funny thing is that most people don't use any ad blockers, believe it or not

I built NoNodePay for this exact purpose a few years back, no lightning though. This is a simple shopping cart that creates keypool to give each buyer a unique address to pay to, as well as an admin dashboard to track orders, add new products etc. Lots of room for improvement but the basics are there.
Is your NoNodePay project supporting bc1 bech32 address type? I don't see many code updates in last few years (except maybe readme file and decimals length) so I think you should update it for new address types, and adding Lightning support would be very cool if possible.

Please, feel pity for me and give the article a try Funny thing that you said in first post how Terra-Luna shitcoin protocol worked and achieved stability... do you still think like the same after recent disaster? It doesn't sound very good if you got inspiration from failed project like that, but if you want someone to test your idea than make some early alpha working product that is ready for testing.

I checked few more alternative search engines with term ''Chipmixer'' without domain name. This is the results I got: qwant.com search: Legit Chipmixer website is in the first place on top, followed by several fake scams. duckduckgo.com search: Legit Chipmixer website is also in the first place on top, followed by several fake scams. yandex.com search: Legit Chipmixer website is in the first place on top, and bitcointalk ANN topic is in 3rd place. bing.com search: Legit Chipmixer website is in the first place on top, followed by several fake scams. yahoo.com search: Legit Chipmixer website is in the first place on top, followed by several fake scams. startpage.com search: I can't find legit Chipmixer website, and xyz scam domain is on top, but there is bitcointalk ANN topic in 5th place. searx.be search: I can't find legit Chipmixer website, and xyz scam domain is on top, but there is bitcointalk ANN topic in 6th place. brave.com search: I can't find legit Chipmixer website, and xyz scam domain is on top; there are youtube videos with fake website on top. baidu.com search: Showing only articles about hacks and scams. presearch: seach: First search result is showing xyz scam, and real Chipmixer website is shown in third place. youtube.com search: Showing mostly videos with fake chipmixer scam domains. Best search engines for Chipmixer seems to be Qwant, Bing, Yandex and DuckDuckGo. Most problematic results for me are coming from youtube (google) with many misleading video tutorials. Note that I excluded results coming from g-search.

You're saying if I sell 1BTC on Bisq and I suddenly get $20,000 via bank transfer, which on other days doesn't happen too often, the bank is going to ask questions? I mean, you could just reply to those questions honestly and say you bought BTC at a certain earlier point in time and sold it online. I don't think it would be a big issue; it's going to be similar to buying (or selling) another expensive item like a car. I would always choose payment in cash for trading like this, this option is also available in Bisq face-to-face, or accept several smaller payments in your bank accounts, in different time periods. It's a good idea to some choose crowded public place for this trade, and not some dark corner of the night. You can buy a car and most things, unless it's lamborgini or something super expensive that would attract lot of attention. I don't think it matters. They know banks are used by criminals, but banks consider money from other banks clean.
Isn't this banking system weird all together? There is no magical formula that turns money from dirty to clean, it's just numbers on screen and they all have history to show if you go back enough. It's just some dudes with seating in chair central control station saying what is clean and what is not. Oh and they also control offshore banks, when they need them

The data are calculated and presented every month in both BTC and USD pay rates in every year. Great work with this data and charts, but I would also add one additional thing for live Bitcoin prices, maybe using some tools that were posted recently in bitcointalk forum. This would show highest paying campaigns (I think Chipmixer is on top) in case members didn't spend any of their received coins. For example, this tool was posted by member rasengan, using his website coinxc.com for showing current rate for Bitcoin: 1 Bitcoin is now worth For more information check out original topic and his website: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5397711.0Maybe in the next year there's a new campaign want to pay higher pay rate and beat the 2018 record in USD value? we will see I am more interested in breaking Bitcoin payment rates, with inflation USD is losing it's value all the time

I have found this not so good news for Coinbase, there is not much information about it, however the lawsuit accuses Coinbase of not disclosing the risks inherent in TerraUSD and of misleading the plaintiffs and the class to believe that they were buying a "reserve backed stablecoin".
I doubt they will win this case against Coinbase, but I am considering this exchange to be very high risk now, ever since they said they could take away users funds to save themselves from going bust. Everyone knows that dealing with shitcoins is even more risky, and I could say the same for all stable coins including Tether, USDC and all others. I think that TerraUSD was algorithm based stable coin that makes it highly unstable and tied to it's based coin. As far as I have seen, Coinbase lists a lot of things and just gives a basic description that is basically a copy of the whitepaper and then tags on the DYOR warnings.
Good lawyers can always find some holes in contracts and terms of use, but it's not easy to track everything with rate Coinbase listed all the shitcoins.

What happened to this?
You sound like John Lennon dreamer in his song Imagine... In reality there are some polar opposites that will never agree and they will never be friends. TimeLord is just a troll, suffering from various drama which happened in his poor life and, as a consequence he is expressing here all his frustrations -- making an absurd accusation here, writing a false feedback there, lying for years that he is part of DT
I wonder why he isn't posting any replies in this topic, he is obviously following what is happening and sending merits to things he likes. Giving negative feedbacks for someone else opinions just because you don't like them is so stupid and ridiculous. Maybe it's time for more DT members exclusions. I am not a troll
I said before that Troll definition is unclear, so anyone can have their own interpretation, and since trolling is not allowed in forum anyone can report trolling posts. If I rememeber correctly, I don't think that I ever reported any post for trolling that resulted in them being deleted.

More to this how can I remove my red Trust in my Account.
I don't know how exactly you tricked moderators to unban your accounts, but I know that you just earned yourself a few more red trust feedbacks to your account. I hereby say apologize, begging and lying all the time won't really help you in the long run in this forum. ...
Good work.
