5182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is growing faster than Bitcoin on: January 23, 2016, 12:26:12 AM
Paypal is just more user friendly and has a long history behind it, you see their logo on so many sites and this has been so for many years.
It will take time, for one, to attract more users.

Maybe some revolutionary service will pop up with a big marketing budget and spread the word that way.

5184  Economy / Economics / Re: Could US Bitcoin survive a Trump presidency on: January 23, 2016, 12:18:27 AM
I think there is very little chance that Trump will win these elections. But if he does, it would just be very unlikely that he would ban the usage of Bitcoin.
He'd be focussing on much more popular issues, most likely..
5185  Economy / Gambling / Re: You ask how to win - did you know how to push your luck ? on: January 23, 2016, 12:14:39 AM

5186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to invest in betting sites? on: January 23, 2016, 12:06:44 AM
it should be pretty profitable as you invest your money into a casino that makes money all the time from players losing their money, i guess its a good thing to invest as it might bring you profit
yeah and sometimes owner of the house always wins, so this is really good to make a profit from invest in gambling.

Yes that's why its considered relatively safe compared to most of the other HYIP scheme out in the Bitcoin world. As long as the bank-roll is large enough for a whale or two who might play.
Yeah, you should always make sure you invest in a reputable casino and if possible also talk to the owners.
But you need to invest quite a bit to make a substantial profit though..
5187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking: Craig Wright Is Not Satoshi Nakamoto According To New Text Analysis! on: January 22, 2016, 09:53:22 PM
Linguistic analysis? Sounds like some hocus pocus.
It may not be foolproof but I think you could, quite accurately, determine if the styles of writings match.

5188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Party 2016 on: January 22, 2016, 09:49:02 PM
My excitement with this was dealt a huge blow with this recent price drop. We were in a good place before Mike Hearn decided to crash the party. Now all those dumped coins needs to be absorbed and the price brought to it's previous levels, before we will see a big impact during the Halving.

The upside to this is all the cheaper coins that are on offer before the Halving. A lot of people can now buy cheaper coins, which they would not have had the opportunity to do, if this did not happen. So it has a positive and a negative side to the story.
I think this is just temporary, the price will rise again for sure. Plus the block size debate will more a bit quicker now.

I will be ordering pizza for the block halving Smiley

5190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin client are you going to be using? on: January 22, 2016, 01:44:00 AM
I'm sticking with core for the time being, I have no reason to switch to anything else.
Hoping the current issues with the block size are resolved soon though.

5192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a lot of free bitcoins fast? on: January 19, 2016, 10:47:57 AM
Try to learn trading altcoins you can starts on Bittrex or Poloniex they good and safe exchange..

Yeah like craptsy was, it's just too risky nowadays to put money in a central point of failure system.

Most bitcoin exchanges are scam.
Most bitcoin exchanges are scam? I think the scams are still the exception, rather than the rule.
But indeed you should not put all of your funds into one single exchange, any exchange could lose your coins.
5193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of my favorite bitcoin gambling sites on: January 19, 2016, 10:44:30 AM
Bitcoinvideocasino if you like playing for big progressive jackpots, they have several big ones on every game they offer.
Also 0 confirmation, instant play.
5194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your gambling stats? on: January 18, 2016, 03:09:51 PM
For now I am even. My current balance is perfect zero. I usually play really steady and slow and when I see that I managed to win some more than usual I go crazy and bet it all in one go.
That is the problem with my gambling habit, I can't be happy with small winnings I like to multiply my bankroll at least 10x before I quit. But usually I lose in the process.
I'm similar, even if I double or triple my initial budget, I'm usually not satisfied and try going for 10 times my investment with high risk bets.
Pays out sometimes, usually not too much though Smiley
5195  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: January 18, 2016, 02:33:55 PM
It's currently proving to be very lucrative to be buying Bitcoins, I'm a big fan of the recent price drop.
With the block reward havling near, it's almost inevitable that the price will go up again.
5196  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: January 18, 2016, 02:31:09 PM
I just bought some again, I'm expecting to see prices go up past 400 dollars soon.
My guess is that this was all just a temporary panic reaction to that article.
5197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your gambling stats? on: January 18, 2016, 02:21:46 PM
I'm currently up a bit on the casino I play on, expect for LTC and DOGE, I'm at a loss there.
Here's a screenshot of my stats @ crypto-games:

5198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 18, 2016, 02:19:49 PM
you are very generous about 90%...I prefer saying 99.99%
That is a bit too high, IMO. I'd say 99.9999% of cloud mining are scam. Tongue
Well, most of the they are scam.

Nowadays the called " cloud mining" websites are scam, because it's in fact ponzi schemes and most of them just try to collect the coins from the users to run out after few days/months ..So just be careful before making deposits into such websites
Not all of them are a scam, Genesis-Mining for example have gone out of their way to prove that they are investing in real mining.
Whether you'll make any ROI on your investment is a different story however
5199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to invest in betting sites? on: January 18, 2016, 02:00:37 PM
1% per a month is a lot more than most banks!

I have invested in a few different sites for some months. From my personal experience, the average return is a lot better than 1% a month. But I don't think it should be compared with the bank deposit rate, as the degree of risk is very much different.

can i know what is all the gambling sites u invest in? may be interested to divert my investment too.
I sometimes earn up to 1% per day on crypto-games. I currently have 0.5 btc invested there.
Check out a screenshot of my earnings:
