Can You Sign A Message?.

It’s certainly a clear plagiarism, user should be punished according to the forum rules. However, have you PMed the accused user? Because a probable situation is you can fake the chat. So, let's hear his opinion, what explanation he has.

Do you think that he is not aware of the creation of this topic?
He created two new topics next to each other, absolutely useless.
At the time when he was accused of transferring merits, he deftly got out, completely not taking the blame on himself. It will be the same story.
He silently waits for the decisions of the moderators, trying in every possible way to show his usefulness, and also referring to inexperience. Although you can always distinguish between ignorance and cunning.
5183  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Policies for newbies and other users. on: December 26, 2020, 03:15:38 PM
The name newbies refers to new members in the thread. But here maximum new accounts are created for old people for bounty. They do a signature campaign on the old account and do another bounty from the new account. Many newbie accounts are opened for scams or fraud. In the pain of all these accounts, those who are really new get lost.

Well, in something you are right. Old members start new accounts to increase their earnings. As long as it doesn't break the rules, nothing is forbidden. Many are practically hard to blame for having multiple alternative accounts, although most likely they exist.
But here the topic is about something else. And I very often meet with similar actions. New accounts, which are most likely controlled by some kind of bot, use other people's social media accounts. They only own the wallet address.
It has been verified many times that in fact, they do not get absolutely anything in this way. Since managers are clever at catching such cheaters. But the owners themselves, whose accounts are used by cheaters, are very worried, which I would not advise them. As described above, you can always prove who the real owner is.

Decentralized finance—often called DeFi—refers to the shift from traditional, centralized financial systems to peer-to-peer finance enabled by decentralized technologies built on the Ethereum blockchain.
The concept has added a new dimension to the blockchain. DeFi platforms may not be at risk of security breach in the same kinds of ways that centralized platforms are–but they certainly aren't completely safe from harm. Investors are having a heartbreak as it is becoming more popular here. Consider the price. If the concept is good, the profit is not earned also proposals have to match with work.

OP, rename the topic "can moderators edit old topics?". Since your proposal, as you can see, is secondary. Grin
Also, you have not provided the actual links to these, in your opinion, important topics.
If, as you claim, you have experience as a moderator, why weren't you able to beautifully design your theme using the links provided?
And why do you think that several of your themes should be added to the top? Just wondering, nothing personal. The activity of beginners always excites, nothing more.
5186  Other / Meta / Re: Shouldn't this be treated as an obvious plagiarism case? on: December 26, 2020, 10:40:20 AM
Here, by the decision to ban each forum member, if any incidents occur, the moderators approach individually.
But this case, in addition to the explicit assignment of someone else's drawing, also contains facts of transfer of merit, which suggests an idea of alternative accounts. And also the fact that one of the "favorites" to whom the merits were transferred is already banned.
If you link all the negative cases that speak of reputation, bitcoinermatt already violates the rule of evading the ban.
5187  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your merit will find you! on: December 26, 2020, 07:21:38 AM

This is the biggest illusion for all newbies.  I was once in that shoe too 😂😂.  I created topics I considered sensible and when looking at it now, I only laugh at myself.  Creating topics doesn't always warrant merit, you just have to focus on yourself and forget about merit.

I looked at your story, and finally, I see a bounty hunter who, though two years later, starts communicating on the forum. We are glad about such changes, now start asking yourself questions: "Why do I need to bounty?" Join the study of more interesting topics on the forum. I think spending two years on the bounty cannot impress you with the earnings. During this time, your peers in registration have achieved much more. Therefore, your merits are still waiting for you.
5188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Policies for newbies and other users. on: December 26, 2020, 06:52:01 AM
It would be nice to ask those users who have their account data stolen not to create a bunch of topics.
I always refer everyone to your topic. Not everyone reads the "reputation" thread, and only hear about this topic when they learn that their social networks are used not only by them.
For some reason, it seems to me that even now when you warned them, not everyone will hear. Bounty hunters are such "busy" people Grin, working in dozens of bounties, they have very little time to study the forum.
5189  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful From Telegram Fraud on: December 25, 2020, 10:07:44 AM
If someone offers you a large sum in the telegram, who of you will believe? How many of you are still children? Who hasn't listened to the saying that free cheese is only in a mousetrap?
The Internet did not appear yesterday, but there are still those who believe in strangers who can introduce themselves as anyone. As long as there are such naive people who believe that one day they will get a piece of gold, scammers will come up with different ways of deception.
It's all interconnected.
The telegram has a function to disable receiving messages from people who are not on the contact list.
Why don't use such a thing?
Otherwise, when receiving messages from an anonymous person, you can regularly take on the label of a sucker.
5190  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Little But From My Heart [Christmas Gift] on: December 25, 2020, 09:27:15 AM
I have only 4 spendable merits which will be given on first come first sevrve base.
Only for newbies.( Bounty hunter and negative trust rating will not be counted)
This is a small gift but I am giving it by my heart. If I have more I also distribute them.

A good advice also a gift so my advice to all.

If you have nothing to give to anyone so just make a smile on his/her face so you are the best person of the world.
Always be first in forgiveness if you do this, so you are a brave person.

Now I have 12'o clock.
Merry Christmas

Make a wish to be honest on the forum and not fool all members of the forum by assigning other people's articles, translating, and not posting links to the owners of these articles.
Perhaps on Christmas Eve you will have an understanding or a conscience will wake up, and you will stop plagiarizing. And to all newcomers who are "helped" by the OP today, I also advise you not to chase a freebie, but to learn to think with your head.
Happy Holidays!
5191  Other / Meta / Re: Remove Signatures from Altcoin-sections on: December 25, 2020, 09:01:23 AM
In my opinion, this section just gathers all the spammers and works positively in the sense that many of them do not post anywhere else at all. Let them hang out in the altcoins section, otherwise, it will look like a hydra that multiplies everywhere.
This little evil is much better than farm accounts spreading unnecessary information around the forum.

He is showing the company license but he is not the owner

Has everyone looked at the certificate? Did nobody use a search?
This is sometimes useful. Perhaps I do not understand something, but I would not believe this kind of Photoshop. Providing fake certificates just works for suckers.
Do all certificates have to have a single number? Here's another one found

5193  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's too damn easy to become a developer nowadays on: December 24, 2020, 01:51:29 PM
This is a very old topic, there are very, very few real projects. Since the ICO, such projects have multiplied in batches, only the lazy did not create them. And I honestly don't understand what this topic is about? Look at the section "Scam Accusations" There such craftsmen regularly appear with accusations of fraud.
OP, do you suggest we try too? Since everything has become so simple Smiley Grin Grin

As for the cryptocurrency, deceptions have been and will be. Therefore, everyone needs to know this and not rely on the promises of the developers. Develop your thinking, learn to analyze, proceed with caution, and take your time. And only after careful analysis can you believe in the project, and even then with a fair amount of skepticism.

Do you want to have paid posts, but don't think that when reviewing your work, the manager himself might not like some of your posts? Consider this too. If you didn't have a subscription, the conversation about deleting messages would be completely different.
You were simply advised to pay attention to yourself and the quality of your posts. Criticism should always be treated positively, if the moderators delete your posts, then they agree, right? It turns out that at least two people didn't like something in your posts. Just find the right solutions from criticism.
Nothing personal, just friendly advice, be able to control yourself, don't get angry, it makes you stronger.
5196  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism | what %age should be allowed? on: December 24, 2020, 07:31:23 AM
If you remember 2018, then all projects that posted the INS on this forum were checked for fraud. This has become the norm today. This forum is famous for the fact that a project containing white paper plagiarism is difficult to pass off as an honest project. Therefore, I have noticed many times that those who create an explicit scam project do not even try to be announced here.

But to say that if a technical document contains a small percentage of plagiarism, it is called a scammer and negative tags are left for it, is also not entirely true. Lately, I've only come across warnings about this.
The development of projects should be carried out by experienced people who should take into account all the points, including those that include the competent development of technical documentation, as well as a road map describing all stages of formation.

Often, plagiarism occurs where organizers are in a hurry, do not care about quality, as a rule, make a lot of mistakes.
What impression can a project make of itself, which was created “On its knees”, in two or three months, the team has no previous experience, and has a copied document?
5197  Other / Meta / Re: [2020] Positive news! on: December 24, 2020, 06:28:23 AM
I also want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me this year. It was a leap year, they always say that such years are never easy. But this time, COVID-19 amazed the entire planet so much that 2020 will be remembered for a long time.
But despite all the hardships, we have become more experienced and stronger, so we need to accept what we have passed with dignity and move on.
The next year according to the eastern calendar will be the year of the Bull, which means that the bull is a hardworking and determined animal. All who will develop and work will be successful. Let's forget about all misunderstandings and enter the New year with a pure heart.
Today is Catholic Christmas.
I congratulate everyone from the bottom of my heart and wish health to all family and friends. And, of course, to all Bitcoin supporters of a further bull run.

<...> Key to your privacy is in the  combined  ID/fingerprint of your hardware+OS+ browser. Spoof it every time your are online or make it indistinguishable from thousands of others ID and you will be both private and anonymous.

this is quite interesting, haven't heard a lot about it before
where can I learn more on the techniques used to spoof ID/fingerprint and improve anonimization?

are these acessible and learnable or too advanced?

If you are interested in anonymity, then as xenon131 said, in addition to VPN, you must use antidetects.
I can advise you on one of the easiest to understand, but very high quality, and of course not free.
There is information about it on the Internet, I think it will not be difficult for anyone who is interested to find it.

The whitepaper is often regarded as the face of the project. That’s where you, at least theoretically, find out what the project is all about, what they want to do, how they want to do it, and, most importantly, when. A decent whitepaper takes serious effort: thorough market research, design work, calculations, conceptual development, and lots of other things are integral parts of a good paper. As a result, writing a good whitepaper usually requires a lot of time (and sometimes money), which scammers cannot afford.

but you need to remember,Good projects are quite thorough about their whitepapers in a good way. If you have too many questions after reading a whitepaper, it definitely means that it was a bad one, and the project did not make an effort to be clear enough. It doesn’t matter if it was intentional or just a result of little attention paid to making the whitepaper, it’s still a bad sign.

the point is this, if you see that a project’s whitepaper is sloppy, too generalized, or lacks any realistic roadmap, that should make you cautious. At very best, the project might not be a scam but they’re still not taking their work seriously enough. Nevertheless, usually, scammers either hire foreign students who don’t speak good enough English to write their whitepapers, which results in a cornucopia of hilariously silly errors or they just plagiarize someone else’s work, which is even cheaper (but certainly more obvious).
