That call of CEO of Bitmex is bullish for Ethereum as he sees $200 coming very soon. That means we may see increase but that will not touch his targeted price but a message of buying was given in his specific style. If you look at his previous calls then can understand how they worked and what actually they were meant for markets.
I feel listening to our own voice is more important at this moment .. the way crypto is designed its made to combat our dying economy .. we may soon expect Bitcoin's lightning network wallets which would help to create channels between the 2 party and make transfer fast and easier We already have raiden for Ethereum and they are having a hardfork on 16th jan and would add casper in 2020 which isnt very far now...so far BTC lightning network is maintaining its nodes to reach highest levels. btc & eth are designed to be store of value. While Xrp is meant to make larger amount possible for banking industries i agree with you but implementation of crypto payment system at all need much more time for using this system people need to educate about this system reliability or need to find some other way where people can use crypto payment much easy or secure way. i believe that in 2020 crypto will much more popular and their prices are also skyrocket right now transferring payment from one to another is much easier through crypto blockchain people will soon realize that who don't except it right now Right now many people against Crypto because they are still prefer fiat money but who know the value of blockchain, they know how to use, they are prefer blockchain. Crypto getting famous worldwide but i think people using crypto for profit, for make money double. Less people don't care about prices because they are using platform, using crypto as payment. It is very confusing to see when people start comparing ETH with XRP. It is not big news if Binance add another base market on that exchange. ETH still has more big market and it will takeover on 2nd position.
There is no confusing between XRP and ETH, XRP price pumping by big companies and surely XRP will go down very soon and ETH will takeover XRP very soon. In last rise in market when price of ETH hit around $160 then suddenly XRP volume pumped to billions and now again volume in millions but ETH volume still around $3 billion. It is hard to believe how fast it could get recover I bought some coins around $85 just a week ago and it helped to make nice profit my Xmas. Thanks to this community who is very supportive and showing their faith all the time long live ETH.

Wow Ripple just rocking and today all crypto prices going up trend but Ripple rise today 13.54% so far and i am sure prices will rise more before Christmas. Ripple also standing at 2nd position, there is a tough competition between XRP and ETH. 2019 is gonna owesome for crypto.  XRP just need some catalyst news like Coinbase listing, or some big player going from testing to production phase, and it'll moon in no time. Coinbase listing been more about breaking psychological "maybe XRP is security token" than importance of volume, as XRP is already on all important exchanges I think ripple is going to moon because price of XRP is going up constantly, volume also rising and ripple is standing at 2nd position so far. $200 is not a big task with current momentum if this could keep moving like this than we will see this happening in next few days. This is good movement which making the whole situation stress free. this is very possible considering the rate at which bch is moving up, though it looks like the market is about to reverse but am still in doubt about the sudden movement, probably because of the many post on the internet about btc going to zero by 2019, but who knows what is true, for now i see btc fighting back to be the king it once was, so lets see what happens in the next few days. At current market value bch has just surpasses $200 and currently trading at $218 within the shortest possible time, bch was below eth just 2 days back, the force that drive bch is insane, those that bought below $100 should be happy  this is good profit after such a long time in bear market, hope this is a reversal.
