250k softcap at the pre-ico sounds very good for me. But a softcap of 10mio for the whole ICO? don't you think that's a little bit high?

I read the whitepaper. There is a table there with amount of tokens being sold during every stage of ICO and price for a token. Here are my calculations: Pre-ICO:860 000 * $0.25 (presale) + 780 000 * $0.27 (week 1) + 740 000 * $0.29 (week 2) + 700 000 * $0.31 (week 3) + 670 000 * $0.32 (week 4) + 640 000 * $0.33 (week 5) + 610 000 * $0.35 (week 6) = $1 496 300 ICO:27 000 000 * $0.37 (stage 1) + 23 000 000 * $0.43 (stage 2) + 20 000 000 * $0.50 (stage 3) = $9 990 000 + $9 890 000 + $10 000 000 = $119 770 000. So the full token supply is $121 266 300. Can we call this the hardcap? This is a big calculation mistake. 9.9+9.9+10 = 30 mil. Hardcap is 30 mil. That is really interesting, 14$ a year is nearly nothing. i like that and there is a picture of the stingminer, in near future i have my own at home:-) How long does it take to earn those $14 a year back with the miner? and how many Tokens can you mine daily is there a limit? I have not found any numbers yet. I think it will also depend on how many tokens they sell in the ICO But it will not be long before we know everything exactly I dont know how much time it will take to earn back those $14, but I think its best deal. I mean protect your network for just $14 a year and get free HNY tokens. I think as long as they are able to sell the value returned would be quick. I can also assume that the early days would be the most rewarding and then it would likely be volatile. I doubt it would take long to return the 14$. I agree with you. $14 Investment is not that high and we will get it back soon. Plus protection from hackers is bonus. That's a great analogy and a really good selling point for BitFence, in my eyes it's a no-brainer. Especially with the forever increasing amount of threats at the moment |

Looks like you have not checked the project details properly. ICO is over few days back and now tokens are available at cross exchange and soon there is possibility that it will be available on one of the big exchange as well. I can't wait for hopefully the announcement with the big exchange, this is what BittWatt needs with it's marketing - and trusty product with its new GUI on the website, the last piece missing in the puzzle  Will help bring alot more attention to the project too |

I understand the centralized nature of Amazon might be a concern; but i don't think it is a major problem. However I am curious to see how Vanig will approach that? There was a major issue with fake reviews on Amazon not that long ago. There's companies that sell 'Reviews' so it can very missleading to consumers when a product is 5/5 in reviews, but realistically is a 1/5 for quality. Jesus, I didn't even realise this was a thing. Guys do you know the exact date when the Energy Exchange will be available ? On the site it says that it is coming soon ! But I am really curious.
No date has been revealed yet but I live the energy exchange is their key service so it shouldn't take too long to start operating fully. Bittwatt intends to start in Romania on June 30th and from this day on customers should be able to pay their electricity in BWT. If the date holds, the Energy Exchange should go online either that day or just before Oh.. Wow. The main day is getting closer now. Do you think this will have a positive effect on the market value of Bittwatt if everything falls in place? I'm absolutely sure with this. At the moment we are way below the ICO price, but once the project is started and especially the trading platform is online, then it will go way up I'm sure we will, once more users see the fantastic GUI and website with its interesting new design - it'll give people more confidence behind the project. Seems like they're are some more partnerships in talks too |

Thats the amazing thing about being able to run it from a beagle board or Raspberry Pi, it's such a low power draw that it's barely going to be noticable (I bet you'll make more than $10 a month from it mining) This is a really nice. 14$ cost for whole year is almost nothing. @Darkoth89 if you are expecting more than 10$ in a month, then just think that in a month or 2 month you will recover your electricity coats. That is a great shout - the profits are pretty much guaranteed as long as Bitfence doesn't crash and become non-existent especially with the plans and roadmap. Not long till stingminer release |

I am bit confused here, On their homepage, they mentioned Current price 0.27$ (-45%). So I understand the price is 0.27$ but in bracket what is the meaning of -45% ?
I think in brackets is the current Bonus of 45%. The token price is 0.27$. Otherwise it makes no sense. I thought the Pre—ICO starts later today. A bonus of 45% is still good. Exactly. That's the meaning. You get 45% bonus of what you purchased. That's just 5% short of half your purchases. That's really nice I must say unlike some projects who give ridiculously up to 80%. I believe project that offers 80% or more are really not solving a serious problem so in effect they are giving more bonus to attract investors but this guys have a great concept so 45% is a clear indication that lendsbay is a serious project. I don't see why offering a large bonus for early adopters or investors means that it's not a 'serious' project. 45% is still a substantial bonus and there is far more in my opinion that makes a project bad except the bonus they give. For example if someone cloned ETH, and only offered a 10% bonus, does that mean it's a 'serious' project? That's a load of rubbish, how does bonus amounts make it a serious project or not? you get the opportunity of a high token bonus sale due to the early support you are giving to the project |

I am more excited about October as they are going to release the public test network according to their roadmap and will it only last a month? Indeed, the release of the public testnet will be a milestone for IoTChain. I really want to know, if it works as easy as most people say. I mean I don't see why not. It's just an OS level that bridges together your IoT devices to their network. I just read in the telegram channel that yesterday BWT tokens worth $ 100K were traded on Coss. Now they can apply for a listing on CMC. I would be very happy, then I do not always have to look at Coss, how much a BWT currently costs

CMC requires that much volume in a single day, not over the period of the project to my understanding. if that's the case then that's awesome and I can't wait to see BWT on CMC, wonder if it'll be in the top 100. I always read that Bitfence will block the IP address of identified hackers (this lock will be sent to the entire Bitfence network within seconds)
But how do they proceed if the hacker gets another IP?
Nice question, hackers are known to spoof ips For all we know one hacker can try as many as 20 ips and hacking is a real time process I don't know how bitfence is gonna handle multiple hacking scenario. I am here wondering how they will get the exact ip address of a hacker who uses tor network for anonymity and also has 2 to 3 infrastructure from which he can penetrate and hack from. Hacker's are not that dull. Bitfence might end up blocking the wrong person. I think it would mostly evolve around pattern detection. In many cases there are patterns for hackers or let us say ports and specific files targeted that will allow panetration; I think the focus would be on those; IPs of hackers are constantly changing to have a white/black list is a legacy approach. They've already covered this. it blocks by a fingerprint and not just the IP address. because it's so easy to spoof IP's and mac addresses etc, they'll be using a combination of things that together identify that hacker. Id suggest reading up on the stingminer and how it works. Well noted, this is what will prevent the same attack occuring even if its from different parts of the world, due to the nature of the attack - it will be finger printed to save the same type of attack occuring |

I am eager for some news and announcements, things are quite slow in the crypto space and also seem to be same with Bitfence as well, last tweet since 13 July https://twitter.com/BitFence_ With only 12 days to go before the start of the MVP and the release of the stingminer, they are probably busy eliminating the last teething problems, so that everything starts to work. I can understand that at the moment they have no time for twitter I also think team is busy with MVP and stingminer launch. But token sale is going very slow and some marketing also needed if they want more money. They might wait till the final week to start announcing partnerships, or they may still be in the works so they can't tell us about them yet! Im sure we'll here something soon though. I hope they will announce something soon, preferably with the stingminer release - will really help bring awareness and some more investors on board |

hell yeah man, I mean the beta is already really impressive. I did a small test transaction and it worked flawlessly. I can't wait for the B2B trading platform section of it to go live. I imagine as it gets the word around about the platform and they bring more features online we will see adoption begin to increase over time they have great momentum already if you ask me Bittwatt are looking really good at the moment, the GUI is amazing and more talks of more investors getting on board, just waiting for another partnership and should see some real interest in the project.
