Hey everyone! Maintenance is still ongoing - we're basically just doing
a spring cleaning, but things are taking more time than anticipated.
We're still busy with it; binary is scrubbing the blockchain and winter
is happily polishing all the coins... Wink We should be back in a few hours.

http://luckyb.it is provably fair: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=322158.0

We even wrote a script to make checking this really easy: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=426390

Players can easily verify themselves that their bets are 100% provably fair.
524  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: why does luckybit use so much power? on: March 02, 2014, 01:30:50 PM
I think they really use your computer to mine coin

Cheesy Not sure if this is even possible, but definitely an entertaining idea.

Long story short: HTML browsers weren't made for games. We use HTML5 canvas for drawing the graphics, and that's very CPU intensive on older machines. We could/should switch to WebGL, which is faster, but then there are compatibility problems with older machines.

In short: if you want fancy graphics, you pay for it.  Undecided

yea i stopped going there cause of that, you really should fix that.  It could mean you have a security flaw

It was fixed; chat is much smoother now! We're having a new happy hour coming up soon!

527  Economy / Gambling / Re: LuckyBit - putting suspense back into gambling on: February 21, 2014, 02:56:50 PM
Would you consider implement account feature.

1) Block chain stuck & lag - waste of time
2) With account, I can deposit and do many bets without waiting for blockchain to confirm my transaction
3) Same as (1)
4) Same as (1)
5) Same as (1)

Don't worry, we're on it. It's just much more complicated that most people think - it's basically rewriting the whole site - so it needs time, but it will be done, promise.

ok finally i got signature figured out.. now does anyone wanna buy this from me before he ships it? .05 btc is min offer!

let me know!

Umad? That thing mines at 330MH/s. No one is gonna buy for that price, I'm better off spending less on a 2.2Gh/s ANTMINER USB.

I'll buy it for a max of 0.005BTC

330MH/s is correct. This miner is a promotional collector's item, rather than a miner for making money. You would be better of selling it as that - our advice is to create an auction in the action board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=73.0

Include the photo of the miner in your post like this:

I have emailed a screenshot of me logged in to my wallet to lucky bit but they are tryin to say that does not count. I dont know how to do a signature and blockchain FAQ does not have even one sentence of information on it. I have googled it as well.

Again like I mentioned to the lucky bit thru email, im NOT a computer nerd, im a POKER PLAYER, I just found out about the plinko game a week ago and was doin my best to help it get off the ground by laying the most best out of any person there.

But you managed! We successfully verified your message/address, thank you.

We will post the miner tomorrow!
