Zeuspool is currently working on fixing the issue with the coin connection. While we are working on the issue the pool will be down. We do apologize for the down time but assure you we will be back and better than ever.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [V] Version - Rare Desirable NO PREMINE Store of Value LAUNCHED on: March 02, 2014, 09:41:58 PM

Folks, for this coin to be reliable the pool operators can't simply copy/paste it into the MPOS.  We've gone through a TON of work/rework to make this coin stable and allow for you to mine it! Those pools are showing RPC connection errors because they haven't taken the time to fix their pool to work correctly with Version.

With that in mind, v.zeuspool.com is very stable.

I'm trying to mine at v.zeuspool.com with my Antminers right now but miners switch to backup pool every few minutes for some reason.

We are looking into this. Thank you for the heads up.

http://v.bitember.com/index.php

No TOKEN to edit details to withdraw coins.........!!!!!! can we have an update please any of the other 90 users got their coins out yet

Still no token to edit to WITHDRAW coins do not use this pool... gone elsewhere band of thieves these people and 3% extortionate!

DO NOT MINE AT THIS POOL NO EMAIL TO ALLOW VERSION ADDRESS EDIT SO CANT WITHDRAW SCAM!

Just received token to edit now they meant to send email to confirm withdraw and cant do that properley now BITEMBER GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER BEFORE THE MINERS GO ELSEWHERE! GIVE ME MY 89 F*******G VERSION COINS THIEVES!!!!!

RESOLVED- NOT A SCAM BUT VERY SLOW AND DODGY NEEDED TO MAKE NOISE BEFORE THEY SEND EMAILS TO ALLOW WITHDRAWAL- BEWARE!
Since everyone likes to throw SCAM and THIEF around so much I thought I would INFORM everyone that the confirmation emails are part of the coding in the pools. This is something that is included by default and has to be heavily edited to remove or change. In order for things to work best its advised to us a gmail account for the mining pools. Im saying this as one of the admins from Zeuspool... the other guys.

Does this pool only support cgminer

Sir, we don't support miners. We offer a pool for miners to connect to. This coin is supported as SHA 256.  What you use to mine that algo is up to you! I hope this helps.
Your pool reject too much I'm use asic cgminer and who is unknown ? Found block too much
Unknown is a block or shares that have not been assigned yet. It means the block is accepted and there are shares submitted to it but the database does not have the information detailing the share and block finder yet. This goes back to the server load and submission of shares. There is a bit of lag right now because of the low difficulty in the beginning, shares and block information is still being entered into the database. This will level out once everything stabilizes and the blocks are less rapid. This is not uncommon in this type of situation. Its just a matter of time for the database to catch up with the information being submitted to it.

We have modified stratum on Zeuspool to encompass lower hash rates as well. I personally am hashing with only 8gh and getting accepted shares at this time.

Should be good to go now. Working on the blocks with missing shares. mining is back to normal. Shares are counting and I will get the other blocks resolved. Sorry for the hiccup

Ok let me put this more clearly. As the ADMIN on ZEUSPOOL... the share transaction submissions to the database have been the issue from the start. That's not to say that DDoS is not possible or that it hasn't happened to any of the pools. But that is the main issue with most of the pools. I know this first hand because I have been sorting it for over 24 hours now.

With such a low N Factor, hash rates are so high, wouldn't it make sense to start the vardiff on the pool at something like 512?  I connected and started at 16  Shocked

Done..

To put the DDoS debate to bed. Mindfox is right... The issue is with the micro shares being submitted during mining that is crashing the pools. Not the pools being DDoS'd. Its loading the servers and causing process pileups causing certain services to come to a screeching halt while database entries are sorted and submitted.

Thats why it is getting Ddosed now, please dont come and talk about stuff that you have 0 idea about.

And what makes you think I dont know what Im talking about? What pool is being DDoS'd right now?

Because it is clearly ddos its been over 4 g/hash for many hours before without problems and its been ddos everytime, and then you come here and claim it is not while having no idea why it went down.

Cryptopool got ddosed but is back up.

535  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: C-Cex Has Frozen Your BTC! Not to be Trusted on: February 25, 2014, 06:53:43 PM
What is it with this "community" in particular that always leads to the words "fraud" or "scam" or "fake"?

C-Cex has always done an outstanding job with handling transactions and doing the fair thing in the event of an issue. They have never buckled under pressure and have always owned up to any mistakes or issues. Is it aggravating to be put in a position where you have a currency tied up (or possibly in a lesser value state). Of course it is. Its inconvenient, its uncomfortable and most of all its scary but that doesn't change the fact it happened and it has to be fixed. This is a risk we all take trading on site such as this and its one that we have all accepted by trading on these sites. This isnt the first site to have some sort of issue and its not the last but (in most cases) they are not out to scam or defraud anyone and are simply trying to provide a useful service to those seeking the services they provide.. Calm down.. be patient and everything will work out in the end.

C-Cex keep up the good work. We know you will fix the issue and will ultimately do the right thing. You always have!

Come mine with the GODS!

thor.zeuspool.com

Thorcoin - The Strong and Powerful energy efficient Scrypt-Jane ASIC Proof coin.

Thorcoin, a revolutionary hybrid proof-of-work/proof-of-stake coin. With Thorcoin you are able to receive and send Thorcoin all around the world and back, to all of your peers including businesses, friends, and family. Thorcoin is a Scrypt Jane Hybrid which only can be mined using CPU's and GPU's. Feel safe with ASIC resistant Scrypt Jane.

The millions of dollars spent on developing ASIC mining are made so CPUs and GPUs are no longer efficient for mining. The result of this was large datacenters with ASICs mining Bitcoin and made CPUs and GPUs unusable for mining, so many went to mine Litecoin, now litecoin has ASICs of its own. A new revolutionary currency will change this, Thorcoin. Why? Thorcoin's ASIC Resistance.
