Active Mining Corporation, seen this coming a long time ago, and has taken steps including incorporating in Belize and creating our own exchange in the event one is needed.

Isn't BitFunder offshore of USA?

How will your "offshore exchange" be any different?

Sorry, but this is the question that needs an answer. Personal share holding rebuttals can wait.

It will not be any different, it is there in the even Bitfunder was to close down, to protect our Investors.  At this point we see that Bitfunder is staying open, unlike BTC-TC, to non US citizens.

Also, those transfer which I was going to finish transferring tomorrow before the dividend payment, I will start transferring as soon as possible.

Yeah but...

how do we get dividends now?

We will setup a system to pay dividends to your Bitcoin address on Bitfunder, this is what the address had been set up for.

In the long-term this is great for Bitfunder.. The effort Ukyo is making will be viewed in a positive light by governments in all countries.

edit: Ken, you shouldn't be telling us that you don't hold any shares.  This contradicts what you have already told us before.. it would have been better not to comment about that at all..

@VolanicEruptor, You need to understand the structure of the company, before you start telling me that I am contradicting what I have said in the past.  I do own ActiveMining shares; however, I do not own Active Mining Corporation shares.
524  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 08, 2013, 09:30:01 PM
trading has been turned off to US citizens....

wow didn't see that coming... but then you never do on a long con.

Active Mining Corporation, seen this coming a long time ago, and has taken steps including incorporating in Belize and creating our own exchange in the event one is needed.  We have also retain legal council (Marco Santori of Nesenoff & Miltenberg LLP) and a member of the Bitcoin Foundation to advise us on our position as a Belize Corporation.

My status as a US citizen should not affect Active Mining Corporation as I do not own any of the shares of the corporation.

Since ActiveMining is a Belize corporation ( I have sent documents to Ukyo showing our incorporation in Belize ) trading of ActiveMining on Bitfunder should not be affected in any way except the loss of US Citizens account.  Now would be an excellent time to pick up those extra shares at a bargin price if you are not a US citizen.

Also, those transfer which I was going to finish transferring tomorrow before the dividend payment, I will start transferring as soon as possible.

I am working on hiring a PR firm.  Lot of things are going to be happening in the next few weeks and months.

Any news on this?

Whats the point of a PR firm anyways, they are just getting the info from Ken in the first place.  Save the money ken and just post some meaningful updates.  I remember Ken saying how taking care of the shareholders and keeping them happy was his number 1 priority.  Up until he got the IPO funds anyways.

It is very important to me to make my Investors successful.  I am thinking and working everyday on how to increase ActiveMining worth.

The boards are being designed in house I think, so they could very well explode too.

The PCIe boards are being designed by our Professional Engineers.

Could you provide more information about the team designing the boards?

Over 15 years developing electronics

@kslaughter when can we expect the sales figures for last month?  Smiley

On the 15th.

I tried to place an order but the approx delivery is 31 December.
"Approximate date of delivery with this carrier is between Tuesday 31 December 2013 and Thursday 2 January 2014 * "
Is this Right??

Thank You

This is what our shopping cart is estimating, based on the pre-order queue.  It should be before this date.

We have 68 Klondikes ordered with full assembly which is ~306 GH/s, we are ~3rd customer in batch 1.

Here is an email from steamboat.

Quote
Chip status:
Batch 1 and 2 have arrived, and have been sent to the assembly house. Those with a chip only order will be sent an email shortly confirming their information. Shipping will be provided free of charge for all chip only purchases.

Assembly status:
We have successfully determined the source of the hardware issues, as well as a portion of the software/firmware conflicts, and are now hashing on all 16 chips at 4.6-4.8GH/s, at 350mhz. We are still receiving high hardware error rates, which we believe is a combination of the on board PIC and suboptimal firmware, and are in the process of optimizing the driver to reduce the error rates. Overclocking testing has also shown the thermal vias were not being fully filled due to the way they were designed. The assembly house has developed a two-step process to address this, and will be ready to assemble today pending final verification after we have tested and approved the process. During testing the 3.3v regulator was operating over spec, using more amps than it is rated for. While the unit functions and the component appears to be stable, we have chosen to replace it in order to ensure there are no failures during extended long term operation.

There are several firmware issues which need to be addressed before the units are ready for end use. The first priority is a USB bootloader. This is necessary to flash the units with firmware updates via USB without the need for additional hardware and software. Additionally, there is an issue with cgminer which does not allow multiple units to be connected to the same instance without severe performance degradation. This is not essential to shipping the units so long as the USB bootloader is properly programmed, but does increase the amount of time required to test the units as the ktest utility remains unfinished. We are also working on auto-serialization code to allow us to step-program the units with a unique serial number without the need to rebuild the hex file for each board. Lowest on the priority list is I2C implementation to allow chaining between boards. While it greatly reduces the amount of USB cables and hubs necessary to connect multiple units, it is not necessary for the unit to function.

I don't believe that to be correct tbh.

My understanding is that it will be today:

Today's Dividends

Today's Dividend will be delayed until next Wednesday

This is due to the ongoing transfer of shares from BTC-TC to Bitfunder.  So, before dividends are paid out on Wednesday of next week all transfers of shares to bitfunder will have to be completed.  The dividend on Wednesday will be larger than normal and also we will start paying the dividend on Wednesday of each week.

"...will be delayed until next Wednesday"

Was posted on Friday. Next Wednesday may be referring to Oct 9th. Atleast that's how I take it.

Next Wednesday from the above post is today, Oct 2nd.

All BTC-TC to Bitfunder transfers have been processed.  If anyone has not received their shares send an email to transfer@activeminingcorp.com with your details.

The Klondikes were a failed project from TerraHash. We were going to have our Avlon ASIC bulk chip order installed in too the Klondike boards from TerraHash. This is now not happening, this is why our share price is so low. There are a group of investors that have to make X per day, X per week ect and when the news hit that the better then dust dividends were not coming they had to park there money somewhere else. They simply can't have there money sitting idle for that long. Honestly I hate to think were these investors put there money with all the chaos going on lately. At this point the people that have there money in here are in here for the long haul and understand the risk and reward that this company can offer. My best guess is that the chip order is on schedule, adding an extra month to your own time table never hurts. One thing I think that people are not counting for is the fact that we will be mining with the prototypes.

What boards are being used for the eASIC chips? And didn't the Avalon chips fall through? (That is why we got the refund) So what use are the Klondike boards anyway, unless Ken intended to put the eASIC chips onto the Klondike.
The engineer of the boards for the eASIC chips are a secret at this point. I am not 100% sure we got a refund on those Avalon chips, I would like to hear what Ken has to say about that.. I honestly don't care, I have written off the whole project and I am here for the long haul. As for TerraHash IDK if Ken is using them to engineer the boards. At this point I feel there engineering skills may not be what this company needs. Although I do hear they have a lot of free time on there hands now. The current Klondike boards will not fit our chip design.

The Klondikes were designed by Bkkcoin, this was our first purchase of Avalon chips a total of 1,150 which 1088 was being used on 68 Klondikes boards.  No, we are using professional engineers with lots of experience to design our boards.

Also, we can transfer different sets of shares with the same email?

No, only one transfer per email.
535  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 01, 2013, 02:26:45 AM
Will we be able to transfer shares on October 1st in case some bids/asks get filled at the last minute?

No

Edit:  To be clear, the time to transfer will run out when it is not 9/30 anywhere in the world, since I did not state a time zone.  Which is UTC -12.  We must receive in our email box your transfer before 12:00 UTC on October 1, 2013

Just curious. What will happen to those shares held by investors who haven't responded to you by the deadline?

I get them.

All shares that were on BTC-TC have been issued to AMC on Bitfunder, and are being transferred to investors by AMC when an investor has been verified to have owned the shares on BTC-TC.

I was waiting for an order to go through and have not transferred yet.

Can I transfer now, or is there another option?

Yes you can.  Just a reminder that ActiveMining trading will be frozen after 9/30 on BTC-TC and if you have not already transferred your shares to Bitfunder you should do it before October 1.

Didnt know that ActM invested in Klondikes. There are no working klondikes at the moment. The only working 16 chip design is the hex16 from marto74 that even runs at 500mhz.
But im not sure why the avalon chips werent refunded and kept instead now that the chance for refund was available and the chips never would ROI.

I believe the large orders were refunded, maybe ActM didn't want to Steamboat more than he was already hurting from this ordeal? Otherwise I don't know either.

We were in the first batch @ 3rd customer, so we have been waiting on the boards, yes, I know that have had trouble getting all 16 chips to hash.  Steamboat, has been working on getting it to work; however, I think we are at the point now to request a refund.

Edit:  It was also reported that the chips in steamboat's batch 1 were shipped 2 week ago.  We could also use the chips on our own Avalon clone boards.
539  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: September 30, 2013, 11:12:03 PM
My transfer was processed in just about 24 hours, impressive.

On an unrelated note, whatever happened to the steamboat batch 1 chips?

Waiting on the Klondikes to get here, if not soon, then we will ask for a refund.  We are in his batch 1 about the 3 customer.

So there is going to be some hashing added after all? Sorry I been out of the mix for a little bit.  Last I heard you got refunds for your Avalon chips.  Guess I missed something.  How much power are you looking at?

The Klondikes are 4.5 GH/s * 68 boards = 306 GH/s
