Very nice javascript there -- I thought you had indicated $ at first. But you should add a .001BTC/MMC (or around the highest bid rate) + multiply it by the $/BTC amount to get the real profits. $$!

*sigh* -- most of the nodes that my server is connecting to are Amazon Elastic Computing clouds/Cloud Miners.
Memorycoin Cloud Miners,
If you're mining for free, that's great. However, if you are paying for computing resources then you need to read this.
I don't know what the hype is about risking $ without an established market cap and liquidity for MMC. It may take months to wait for the right price and volume to dump your MMC for a profit, but those bills can and will quickly add up.
Early Adoption should be low risk. What if MMC does eventually fail? How are you going to get your $ back for the MMC that you mined? What if MMC is to be valuated to be less than you think?
There's a substantial amount of risk of not being able to break even for the bills by selling your MMC due to liquidity and lack of a responsive market.
With time as a spiraling factor, I hope the value of MMC does rise, but only after cloud miners have dumped their MMC to "stop loss" or when cloud mining becomes unprofitable vs. reward.
Otherwise, if you are mining right now and do not have a bill greater than $200 to pay for mining this coin every month, many kudos to you for knowing how to play your cards right.
Just remember, in reality, you can't always get what you want, and not everyone can pocket a handsome profit in a reasonable amount of time.
This goes for any new alt-coin that is ever launched.

Hi, today when I checked my wallet I saw this: Should I be happy or is this a false alarm? getmininginfo displays that it's mining on block 1003 so I think that this is incorrect. You should update your client, go to your %APPDATA%/memorycoin/ folder and delete everything but wallet.dat: Then you should have the correct client. (We are in the 1500's block already.)

This is luck. Mined a 280 block on my server with 1.21 H/m! And another with 2.9H/m!

10.1 H/m Dayum. Is there any tutorial for linux ?
If not I'll do it.
If someone can pm me the fastest way to do it. Just command lines and cheapest version to use (to make a short and clear tutorial, I can do it alone, but as I'm not familiar with it, it can be not too good); I'll make a detailled tuto this week end.
Take a look at my script here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/50880632/mmc-beta.sh Get it running on your [debian] linux server [[I update the script often]]

If you download my beta bash script and run it, you can point the script to your .memorycoin folder, which you will have to find yourself. it seems that the daemon cannot find the memorycoin.conf folder which is located in the default .memorycoin folder on your server.
OK, ran that new script last night, but as it was starting up something happened and I was disconnected from my server. This morning I ran root@mmc2:/home/ubuntu/memorycoin/src# watch './bitcoind getinfo && ./bitcoind getmininginfo' and now I see: Every 2.0s: ./bitcoind getinfo && ./bitcoind getmin... Fri Dec 20 13:29:52 2013

Working now? Does this indicate my hash rate? Also, when I started your new script it asked me how many threads or processes to use? I'm not sure how to answer that with a cloud server. My cloud server is 2 VCPU 2GB RAM, 30 GB Vdisk. Using Ubuntu Server 13.10 (amd64 20131030) - Partner Image. Thanks again! to see hashrate, just expand SSH window I recommend two threads for two CPU cores on your cloud server. I will be implementing the installation as a one time only setup so that you can spend less time rebuilding the blocks and compiling after a disconnect.

There isn't a pool available, is there?
No, but if first one that comes out I'm pooling all my miners there even if it's a 10% fee.

the difficulty is 3 times higher Good, as long as it knocks cloud miners off the mining network.

If you mean run the last command from the .memorycoin folder, I can probably navigate to that. And I thought I was using your script? Or is there another script I need to download? Appreciate the help! This is a miner script for linux. I just pushed up a new MMC block miner that uses the default daemon with customizability. - Fast and easy installation
- Recompile from source (github)
- Easy Restarter
- Delete Block database (if it becomes corrupt)
- Get mining information without forcing a command every 2 seconds
- Read the last few lines of your debug log
[Fixed if I make new updates] cd ~; rm mmc-beta.sh; wget https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/50880632/mmc-beta.sh; chmod +x mmc-beta.sh;./mmc-beta.sh Tips welcome @ MMt59REmPF9w9a7uBp6hHKtWKvMRvKUX1h

Isn't that CPU 5GHz? I've mined a lot of coins this is one of the worst launch i've seen... and I tried hard !
Just leave this here... I do not wish to create a whole topic regarding this comment
I must admit, I had my doubts about freetrade and his way of ensuring he makes money. But, I like some of his ideas, and even though it's struggling, I think this coin does have potential. Freetrade should of maybe tested it more, but I still think it has potential. The same way I think FT has potential. Anyway, I've given up mining this, I started at the beginning, that's why I was punished with a <5MMC block, and no other after all this time. I'm using a 8-core 8350 @ 4.2ghz And FT, in all honesty, I wish him the best of luck - and I hope I can come back and mine this coin someday. K. No, it's definitely 4ghz - I have one... (mine is OC 5%) K. I see, well what CPU cooler do you have?
