I foresee a rise in the number of self-moderated threads.

This coin does so well on CPU . If we only had more CPU coins the world would be much more better Smiley  Grin GPU farmers are waiting like tigers !

I agree.  Ziftr should be commended for 'fair mining for all'.

I have a good feeling about btc these days. Have we turned a corner?

Oh ya, good time to trade drk and xmr for btc.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why PayPal and Bitcoin should partner up. on: March 10, 2015, 12:41:22 AM
Why would Paypal not want to use btc. Btc is just like cash. No credit card companies to deal with and no credit card fees. PP will still get their cut and maybe a bigger cut. I don't know what or if it costs PP to deal with Visa and Mastercard.

Its also great for buyers and sellers who like the Paypal system and whatever security it offers.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing ZiftrCOIN Release on: March 09, 2015, 01:40:42 AM
I normally get 3.8 coins a day on average. I was away for a few hours and came home to 14.5 mined today. Sweet!

Oh come on Andrew, I am a long term litecoin holder who discovers that the director of the litecoin association is very actively trying to rescue a coin that was created as a scam, by a proven fraudster (who is probably going to jail in the future for this fraud). And the members of the new community are every bit as vile as the old hashtalk.

That is disturbing.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing ZiftrCOIN Release on: March 08, 2015, 05:35:36 PM
Geez, shit hit the fan since I was here last. What's the big deal?

Most assumed this was Shitrcoin at the beginning. If you bought ICO then you were dumb. If you mine a few coins; be happy and dump if you want.

I'm getting a few coins a day with a desktop that is on all the time anyways. Not bad for cpu mining. Its all gravy.
528  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 08, 2015, 05:22:02 PM
Once those mining equipment sellers realize they can make much more money by mining with equipment themselves, especially equipment a customer has already paid for, it's pretty much over.

BFL set the standard there that others follow to this day.  But GAW certainly set the standard for a release scamcoin - taking WDC's pre-mine, UNOCS pump-and-dumps, and Scharmbeck's "prime investing opportunity" to a whole higher level.  What an idea - making money off little PNG images you could move around the screen and press buttons on - all you have to do is to promise the moon and deliver, well, nothing at all, dumping batches of your millions of pre-mined coins each time you told another lie.

Just to remind people of just a few of those promises, so they don't think it was "mere incompetence" that caused all of this, here's a quick list:

Hashlets will "Never expire and always be profitable" - lie
Prime Hashlets will be able to mine SHA-256 - lie
Prime Hashlets will be the only ones mining XPY PoW phase - lie
HashBase - lie
AmpStore is coming soon - lie
Hybrid-thermal-rubber-rabbit-flux-chain BTC2 capabilities - lie
Paybase debit card - lie
Paybase Amazon, Target, WallMart and co - lie
Paybase BillPay - lie
Paybase thousands of merchants on board - lie
XPY $20 floor - lie
World leading coin development team hired - lie
CAF (Coin Adoption Fund) - lie
$100 Million Fiat reserve - lie
We're moving the market - lie
GAW "bought" BTC.com for $1 Million dollars - lie
GAW bought ZenCloud for $8 Million dollars - lie - in fact, this is the lie that shows it's been nothing but a scam since the very beginning.

Remember Legendarys limited to 500 - lie
Vegas Legendarys only given to those attending Vegas - lie
Vegas Legendarys will be the rarest of Legendarys - lie
Holloween legendarys will be able to combine into something special - lie
Staker Legendarys will only be limited to 100 - lie
all Legendarys converted to Stakers will keep their Legendary status - lie
all legendarys converted to Stakers will get extra abilities - lie

Great post. Succinct and easy to read compilation of Gaw lies. Anyone have doubts this is not a scam?
529  Other / Off-topic / Re: [ADVICE] - LASIK eye surgery on: March 08, 2015, 06:54:46 AM
Can give you bad night vision. Not nice if you need to drive at night.

Dry eyes can be a long term result of eye surgery. You may, eventually need to apply drops or gel every few hours. Dryness actually causes material to peel off the eye. The eye is good at repairing itself but the material blocks glands and ducts after a period of time.

This can lead to Blepharitis. You don't want bleph. This is particularly unpleasant and can be very debilitating. Not to mention its almost impossible to get rid of and control.

Who keeps this turd afloat?  Im at a loss

Investors in deep with even deeper pockets. They cannot afford to let paycoin die.

Gaw is slowly winding down. If or how long till everything goes dark and everyone is long gone is another question. Not looking good at any rate.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SpartanCoin - Cryptocoin for the competitive world. on: March 08, 2015, 03:55:11 AM
Its a shame, hope its not dead. I know a lot of people mined and bought Spartancoin. Me being one of them, but the dev hasn't been seen since November I think.

Wouldn't mind if he just put a post up saying sorry everyone but I'm out. At least we would know.

I'm up for whatever everyone else thinks  Huh

Yep, I bought some at one satoshi thinking it might make 2 but no go. Too many coins and too many miners dumping. Feel for those who bought ICO. Another example of why ICO is a bad bad thing.

The dev seemed a decent enough guy/gal. Guess he made a few bucks and moved on.

I had good vibes about this coin but, again, I was wrong ... lol.
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SpartanCoin - Cryptocoin for the competitive world. on: March 07, 2015, 05:35:23 PM
It's nice to see that people still pay attention to the SPN thread.  Is there any chance the dev is still around?

Looks like another dead coin.  Community takeover time?
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin (XPY) is scam on: March 06, 2015, 05:58:33 PM
Barrabbas is extremely butthurt. I call bs on his "minimal" investment. He is blaming the world because his paycoin dreams were shattered.

Don't worry bud, the promised $20 buyback is right around the corner. Hang in there.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT] Desktop 1.15 Release + Android Public Developer Testing Release on: March 06, 2015, 05:45:13 PM
We currently have an offer on the table which would integrate Mintcoin into several online casinos. How does the community feel about this?

That's great!

Breaking bad

Hard to beat BB. Even Walking Dead is blah to me now.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin (XPY) is scam on: March 05, 2015, 11:11:12 PM
Hey. I was excited by Paycoin in the formative months too. It had validity. Something produced by a real company with resources rather than the usual run-of-the-mill; kid-in-the-basement projects. I bought into it too.

How can you NOT criticize paycoin. Its been a friggin disaster from start to (almost)finish. I've never witnessed such a blatant shitshow. Big money is involved and a lot of people are going to get hurt and already are. No one caused paycoin to fail but Gaw itself. Blaming anyone else is wrong.

This is no small scale scam/failure/ponzi/whatever. Its going to leave a mark.

538  Other / Off-topic / Re: What ll we do if internet cut off (forever) :) on: March 05, 2015, 10:44:15 PM
Aaahhh ... A post apocalyptic earth. No internet, no electricity, no technology, and OMG, no smart phones.

Plague has wiped out 85 percent of the male population. Remaining men are kept as sex slaves who's only job is to impregnate beautiful young women. Life's a bitch.

But first of all, let me make very clear to you that my personal interest in XPY is beyond modest, actually minimal

You are very touchy and defensive for a guy with "minimal" interest in Paycoin. How many thousands did Gaw take you for do you have invested? Come on, fess up.
540  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Google Authenticator help on: March 05, 2015, 09:39:34 PM
There is no easy way to back up google authenticator either AFAIK. Make sure to use two devices or take a pic of the qr code and save it somewhere safe.
